At the Camp Mess Hall Lazlo was leading around Fluffy, hoping some food would put the bear in a happy mood. he tried his best to tell the Bear that bullying was wrong as he grabbed one of the plastic trays, Fluffy doing the same. The Mess Hall was empty as Lazlo grabbed a bottle of juice, a bowl of Grits and a plate of Beet salad, putting them on his tray as they walked towards the tables, sitting down. Fluffy ran his finger through the bowl as Lazlo had the realization that the only campers not afraid of Fluffy were him, Raja and Clam.

"Lazlo, may we have a word with you?" Raj asked standing at the Mess Hall Entrance with Clam, tapping his foot in annoyance. Calm merely repeating Raj's motion as Lazlo approached them, asking what Raj wanted to talk about. Raj mentioned that all of Camp Runnybottom was hiding under Slinkman's bed.

Lazlo had a suspicion this was Fluffy-related which was validated when Raj brought up the bear and the 'I'm going to eat everyone' presence he gave off, claiming the bear had serious anger issues. Lazlo understood where Raj was coming from but claimed that Fluffy was nice and just misunderstood as Clam commented "Rageaholic"

"We Don't want that bear back at our cabin" Raj told Lalo, saying that Lazlo interrupted the whole camp and was ruining Raj's and Clam's experience by 'Mingling with Nature' which was clearly against the rules and starting to see why it was against the rules. It hurt Lazlo to admit this, but he knew the Elephant was right.

Lazlo Agreed to tell him, hoping that Fluffy would take the news well. Lazlo Felt it in his gut that when he tells Fluffy he'd have to leave, the bear would not like it. Raj and Clam nodded, showing mild looks of discomfort, looking at each other, claiming that if the Monkey needed them, he would be very far away.

Back at the Scoutmaster Cabin, Rachel and Terrifield were carrying slinkman as the campers asked what happened to him. The Poodle, shrugged her shoulder, saying she and Terrifield just found him passed out at the cabin entrance, oblivious to the fact he was trampled.

Samson questioned if it was a bear mauling, making the scouts uneasy, worried about which of them may be next. from the window they heard one of the scouts, drawing anyone's attention, it was Freddie Harold, the walrus, telling everyone that the new Monkey was getting into it with the bear. causing the scouts to beam around the window, from what little they saw Lazlo was holding his Tray talking to the bear who looked angry.

Next thing they knew the bear was chasing Lazlo as they both ran around the camp, eventually the Bear chased Lazlo into the woods as they both were out of view. Harold claiming, he could not see them anymore. The scouts breathed a mild sigh of relief at Lazlo drawing the bear away from Camp.

"Glad that's over, I'm hungry" Lumpus stated asking someone to go to the Mess Hall and bring back waffles. The scouts all looked at each other and back to Edward, reminding everyone that he chickened out earlier. Edward denied this, stating that Slinkman volunteered in his steed.

Gretchen smirked, saying it was because he was a platy-pussy as Edward growled at the Alligator, the others joining in, claiming that Edward was NOT a tough guy, but a wimp. Edward shot up to protect his ego as Patsy had predicted earlier. Edward walked off, claiming that no bear was going to stop him from getting waffles. Edward felt uneasy volunteering to go out to the only seemingly empty camp to head to the Mess Hall where The Monkey and Bear just came from.

Edward walked outside, commenting that everything was fine, The Bear had left but Edward was to be worried with being cautious and quiet that he didn't even have the time to think about Lazlo, if that Monkey had not brought the Bear to camp, none of this would have happened. "Don't eat me Mr. Bear, Platypus does not taste good."

A Few hours had past as Raj and Clam were at Cabin 13. Clam just standing there as Raj sat on his bed, playing solitaire as he did not want to play with Clam who he believed was a cheater.

"Getting late, worried for Lazlo" Clam commented as the Rhino just stood there, looking out the mesh window, at the sunset. Raj commented that if Clam should be worried for anyone it should be them, as They had to share the cabin with the troublemaking Monkey, claiming that ever since Lazlo had arrived, he had been nothing but trouble. Lazlo just could not just follow the rules and let Nature be. To top it all off he then brings a Bear into camp.

Raj huffed, setting a card down, claiming he was through with that Monkey and his whacky antics, honestly considering requesting a transfer to another cabin "If He Never came back, that would so very fine with me".

Clam just took a deep breath, hoping Lazlo was okay. yes the Monkey wasn't the ideal camper but he had showed Clam (and Raj) how to have fun, and for they knew he could seriously be hurt. Despite this Clam knew there was not much he could do, as leaving the Camgrounds was forbidden; All Clam could do was go to sleep.

The Next morning came around as the sun washed over Camp Runnybottom. Slinkman opened his eyes, having recovered as he felt something beside him, turning he saw Lumpus sprawled on his bed asleep and feeling the bed shake, looked down to see a pile of sleeping campers and staff under his bed.

"What goes on" Slnikman asked, looking down as some of the scouts and staff were awake. he got many responses such as he was mauled by a bear, Lazlo running off with said Bear and Edward not returning with waffles. Slinkman looked at the sleeping Moose, gently shaking him awake "Scoutmaster, wake up."

"What, are the waffles here" Lumpus asked, waking up as Slinkman told him they needed to do a headcount as he believed some campers were missing. Lumpus jumped in shock at the idea of a Headcount as he was still half-asleep. Slinkman explained they just need to do a rollcall and count the campers. Lumpus agreed, having Slinkman call all the campers to report to the Flagpole for a Roll Call.

Back at Cabin 13, the announcement woke up Raj and Clam, who looked over seeing Lazlo's bed was perfectly made and unslept in. Raj Realized that the Mokey never made it back last night. After getting dressed the two headed out, making their way to the Flagpole as instructed. they passed by the Dung Beetles who were hoping that they would get their waffles soon as they lined up at the flagpole in order of Cabin number as Slinkman began counting.

The Counting was cut off a high-pitched scream as Slinkman nearly dropped his clipboard, rushing to see what was going on, seeing Amber standing a mass of red splatters, unable to move as Samson vomited a little at the sight. "Lazlo's been eaten by the bear!"

The Scouts all gave a look of shock as Amber handed Slinkman the neckerchief that she found, which had Lazlo's name written on it in marker, along another series of names as it was a hand-me-down. Gretchen whistled at sight "That is a mauling."

Lumpus approached, with Jane Doe who asked what was going on. Slinkman told them that allegedly Lazlo Moreira had been eaten by a bear, causing Jane to nearly faint. Lumpus was torn on the matter, for one he was happy to be rid of Lazlo be also knew what meant, asking Slinkman if he also know what it meant, the Banana Slug nodded.

"It's means my perfect attendance record is ruined! 20 years of looking over these 'Snot-nosed Bratty Little Know-it-all Punks and that monkey goes ahead and ruins it" Lumpus replied furious as Jane scoffed at the Scoutmaster. Slinkman told him it worse than a 'broken perfect attendance' record, reminding him that Lazlo was 'Eaten' by a Bear pulling out the Camp Runnybottom manual as he read.

"It says in the Camp Runnybottom manual 'that if a camper is devoured by a wild animal the Scoutmaster is directly held responsible' So I guess we should call Hoo-Ha" Slinkman read as Lumpus snatched the book, refusing to let Slinkman Call Hoo-Ha, there had to be something in the book he could use, flipping through the pages.

Eventually Lumpus found it, If Lazlo was 'Missing' the staff have 48 hours to find him before reporting it in. bolting back into the Scoutmaster cabin and locking the door behind him

"It Can not be True" Raj begged, holding the strip of cloth mourning the same Monkey he was bad talking the previous night. other scouts were comforting the elephant and Rhino. even Patsy was a bit sad, true. It was True she wanted Lazlo out of camp, but she did not want the Monkey to be eaten; actually, feeling a little bad. Patsy felt that despite what Lazlo did, He did not deserve to be killed.

"But where's Edward, and where's the Bear" Gretchen asked confused, seeing that the Platypus did not make it to roll call, hoping he had not suffered a similar fate. as an answer the question, the Platypus was standing on the top of Cabin 9; claiming that the bear would still be lurking around if not for him.

Edward swore that he saw the whole thing when he was out getting Waffles. telling a story. Edward told the camp population of how see stumbled upon the Bear cornering Lazlo as Raj interjected, asking if saw Lazlo get... Raj did not even finish the sentence as Edward nodded, removing his hat in a sign of respect for the allegedly departed Monkey.

"Alas, I'm afraid so, it happened so fast that I was not able to save him, but then I leapt int action I scared off that bear from taking any more of us, what happened was an intense battle where I wailed on his furry ass. In that moment where he stood bruised and bloodied, that bear understood. Camp Runnybottom was MY turf, and he was NOT Welcome" Edward explained in his grandiose story, asking if there were any questions.

Nina raised her hand and asked if Lazlo left any instructions on how to have fun. Edward was still a bit pissed that even after his supposed death The Monkey was still getting more attention than him.

"So, you can confirm that Lazlo was Killed and eaten" Slinkman asked as Edward simply explained there would be a full briefing on his heroic deed later on.

So yeah, Edward is clearly embellishing the story and we know Lazlo isn't really dead, you're probably wondering what he really did, that may be explained later.
