Megumi's reforms were beginning to take shape as the Sensha-Do team was the last to be reformed as well as the cavalry and standing student army to guard Saunders. These were used to wage the school's wars whenever two schools got into a problem with each other. And there was two ways out of it, peacefully as the students could talk it out or fight it out. Megumi went up to the podium as Alexandra rode out on horseback.

"Students of Saunders, this begins the third meeting of this year so far as your leader. And I have some big news. After a few days, we managed to make the school a better place than it was a year ago. We've decided to reform this as it was going to take the longest to implement." Megumi began. She then began laying out the reforms that she had been able to make: "The Sensha-Do team has fallen the furthest behind as there are no uniform tanks and we just have a large collection of assorted light tanks to M6 heavy tanks. What we decided is to focus on the M3 tanks like the small Stuart and the Medium Lee. The more experienced students are going to be given the tanks while the first years are going to have to learn how to conduct themselves."

"What?!" Kay called out, there were two things wrong with what Megumi said. The first thing wrong is that the medium tank had two guns, and the light tank was moreover you guessed it, a light tank. The M6 Heavy tank meanwhile was a capable tank and heavily armored, but it lacked mobility and the tanks were to be used moreover far away. Alexandra dismounted her horse as she began picking out the second-year students.

"I'll be taking the sophomores with me. The Juniors and the Seniors get to handle the tanks." Alexandra told Megumi. Megumi nodded as the only group left were the first years.

"Okay so this leaves you out. The First years will only be traveling on foot and your protection will be the new rifles as we are replacing the muskets. The muskets are obsolete on the field of battle as everyone we faced up against had rifled muskets which made the round fly farther and faster giving them increased range. So to quickly catch up, we've decided to rely on a cunning rifle that would be suited for the first years." Megumi explained to the students that they will be receiving new equipment and she explained how this would work. "These new rifles are called Berdans, they're both rifled and breech loading as you just need to pull the bolt open and load a round inside." Megumi grabbed the rifle and pulled the bolt open and loaded a large airsoft pellet inside. She then pushed the bolt closed and continued to explain. "This is a large, single shot black powder rifle so make sure you keep your rifles very, very clean." Megumi then aimed, she lined up her sights with the target and bam! The large airsoft pellet tore the paper target down. Megumi opened the bolt which ejected the empty case as smoke was coming out of the rifle.

"Wow." Mika and Jajka were impressed but Kay didn't like the new rifles as a couple of students rolled them out. The rifles were stacked neatly in rows on the racks. The first year students walked out and began to pick out which Berdan they wanted. Kay looked on as a third set of Berdan rifle were moved, Kay moved over there but Alexandra walked over and began speaking to Kay.

"This is for the cavalry only. You must take a full sized rifle." Alexandra politely told Kay that these were for a very specific group of students. Kay grumbled as she got back into the line in the back. The students grabbed their rifles, bayonets and some ammo. The second years took the smaller Berdan style rifles, along with some wooden sabers. The second year students made their way to their horses while the students made it to the front. The older students hopped into their M3 Stuart's and M3 Lee's that were going to be used. Megumi then made her way to the front and decided to split the students up into two groups.

"First year students and tanks follow me, Alexandra, you'll take the cavalry." Megumi told Alexandra. Alexandra nodded as she began riding off with her dragoons.

Megumi had led the students to the range as the first years were below and the older students higher up as they were going to deal with firing further away. Megumi was holding her wooden saber and her single action revolver.

"All students attach your bayonets." Megumi told the students. "You will be firing them fixed to the barrel." The students got out their plastic bayonets and attached them to the rifle. These bayonets were large spiked shapes as they were meant for poking. "Load up!" The students pulled open the bolts to their rifles and loaded their single shots in. Kay felt nervous as she had Mika and Jajka to her left and Lola to the right. "Fire!" Megumi called out. The students took their aim and fired their rifles. Kay aimed her rifle and fired, the shot hitting the north west of the target. Jajka hits the corner as Mika manages to hit the south east part of the target. Lola missed the target entirely. The students pulled the bolts back as it ejected the large cartridge with smoke coming out of the rifles. They loaded up another cartridge and fired again at their own pace. Kay huffed as she fired again at the target. This time she was a bit more accurate with the target as her shot was a bit closer to the center. Lola managed to hit the target this time. "You're still aiming a little bit too low Lola."

Kay huffed as Megumi went over and decided to help the student next to her. Kay then opened the bolt and ejected the empty cartridge and loaded up another one. One of the distant targets exploded with a brilliant blue firecracker round. She turned to her left to see one of the new M3 Stuart tanks in action. Kay was beginning to feel envy, she wanted to be inside of that tank and not out here on the field. She gripped the Berdan rifle and raised it up to aim. She hoped this was going to be a lucky shot for her. Aiming at the target, she fired, the large plastic pellet struck the center of the target as Megumi walked over.

"I did it!" Kay called out with excitement. She opened the bolt to the Berdan and ejected the empty cartridge.

"And we got a straight shooter." Megumi began. She held Kay's hand up high. In the background, several shots were being heard as Alexandra's cavalry team was making their way across the field, they were moreover focused on a war of movement. "So Kay I have a question, would you like to be the first year's leader?" Megumi asked.

"I sure do!" Kay yipped with excitement. Her dreams were becoming true even if they were slow to implement.

"You can choose two other students to help you lead as that will be helpful if we are to be able to get the formation of the team together." Megumi instructed Kay that she could choose two other students to help her out with this if the odds were stacked against her.

"Jajka and Mika." Kay told Megumi.

"Okay, will you take two steps forward?" Megumi asked. Jajka and Mika walked to the front as they joined sides with Megumi. "Okay first years, you will be referring to them if you have any questions. And Kay, you will refer to me or Alexandra for orders and you will be carrying them out."

"Yes Megumi!" The three students said in unison. Then Megumi's phone began to buzz as important news had just reached them. Megumi got out her phone and began reading what was in her inbox.

"Kuromorimine has decisively beaten BC Freedom and had annexed Alsace-Lorraine." Megumi began. The students were shocked. They thought BC Freedom was the new #1 school in the Sensha-Do world but they had been beaten by the champions again. "Well their forever high rain has been cut short by the champions."

It was true as Azumi had lost the match against Kuromorimine who decisively beat them back. Their current commander, Manami Himuro, was looking at the BC Freedom commander.

"So you call yourselves number one and beat off Saunders but you only did that with help from some of the most powerful schools of the Sensha-Do world. You still managed to crumble in a one vs one school match against us. You're just as weak as we thought you were, taking your time to mobilize. Beating you in the upcoming Sensha-Do tournament will be a piece of cake." Manami taunted Azumi that she managed to win and beat her to a pulp. Azumi was trying her best to swallow her guilt as beating Saunders gave them back a great deal of their prestige, but this match was a complete embarrassment for them. Manami turned and began to walk away. She snapped her fingers for her vice commander. "Come on Runa. We're done here." Runa turned and began to walk away. Azumi was left humiliated.

That night, Manami decided to contact the other schools to prevent BC Freedom from rearming themselves. She managed to get Megumi and another girl from Magyar Girls Academy to help her form the alliance. The last girl had brown hair and dark brown eyes that seemed to be almost black.

"Okay we got the news of Count High School being unified under some kind of witch and the fact that we managed to beat the school that seemed to be number one from its war with Saunders." Manami began.

"Which was us?" Megumi added on.

"I know that Megumi but be glad with this alliance, you will get revenge on BC Freedom and hopefully Kebab." Manami told her. "So my proposal is that we make an alliance to keep the balance of power of the schools, put down rebellions in each other's schools and prevent BC Freedom from rearming. It wouldn't be a formal alliance where war against one means war against all." Gisela responded and explained the purpose of the alliance.

"So are we in?" Manami asked the other two if they were willing to form the alliance.

"I am but you managed to defeat us in the Sisters' war and nobody else wants to ally with us, tough luck." Gisela told the group. Megumi wasn't so sure about what she was getting herself into but she definitely wanted Saunders to get revenge on Kebab and hopefully the other schools they were defeated by.

"I'm in." Megumi responded as she finally gave in. This was what Manami wanted.

"Alright, we'll be able to begin the balancing of what will happen. The League of the Three Empresses is born." Manami told the group with excitement. They then logged off for the night.

The next few days went by as the changes were beginning to bear fruit. Resource output was steadily increasing, classes were moving along smoothly and Megumi and Alexandra felt like their work was done for now and they were just waiting for the results.

"These reforms are going to take a couple of years to complete, are you sure you can have some of the students take over the reigns when we are gone?" Alexandra asked Megumi if Saunders was going to have a future when they graduate and move on with their lives.

"We will decide who will take over but that isn't going to be a long while from now so for now, we just sit back, relax and watch the changes be implemented." Megumi responded as she continued munching on an apple. Then someone knocked on the door and Megumi knew who it was. "Come in." Megumi told whoever was at the door to come in. The door opened to Lola carrying a booklet of papers in. "Hey what's up?" Megumi asked.

"I actually wrote a short fictional story dedicated to you, I did some revisions with my teacher, and I wonder if I can get it published?" Lola asked Megumi. Megumi read it over as it was over a hundred pages long from a writer's perspective.

"This is good, I'll get it published and you can make more. You seem to be creative with your novella." Megumi smiled, she took Lola's booklet and began to publish the story.

"I will but thank you for letting me be creative. It's my present for you." Lola replied. She smiled and began walking away.

"She surely does seem to be enjoying our school as she seems innocent." Alexandra replied. Megumi then began to take the novella and run it through a book making machine.

"Lola is a first year student and she does have the right to have innocent fun. Her birthday is September 9th, just at the very beginning of the academic year, a couple weeks in advance." Megumi told Alexandra that this girl was fairly new and very creative. "If she wants to write books, let her do that. I will have to send a letter back to her."

"I wonder what else she can write. I think when Nicole was still around, some students exposed the corruption of the school with the play "The Government Inspector." I thought it was going to get banned before Nicole told me: "I have never seen such an offense in an amusing play." I think we need more people like you and her." Alexandra told Megumi that she definitely wanted to see a play written and by Lola and acted out on stage.

"Let her do one thing at a time so we don't overwhelm ourselves." Megumi didn't want Alexandra to rush everything while they were waiting for the results to bear fruit.

"Also we're getting news from Kay that she is making three groups of sharpshooters." Alexandra grabbed the letter and began to open it.

"Great, everything is going according to plan. I wanted to test our new tanks out against Kebab to see where tanks stand overall and what reforms we should do to the Sensha-Do team." Megumi told her friend.

"So, when do you think that we should be ready to take them out?" Alexandra asked as she finally opened the letter and began to read it.

Dear Megumi

We've been beaten by Kuromorimine and now Manami has started an alliance to prevent us from being able to fight back. We shall stage a meeting between us and agree on what we should do going forward. I am gathering the best the schools have to offer and we shall conduct the meeting in the gardens where we will come up with plans on fighting Kuromorimine. The meeting will take place a couple days from now.

Azumi

"Azumi wants you to meet her again, what for though?" Alexandra asked, she was confused about the meeting while Megumi came up and took the letter. She began to read it over and she quickly figured out what this was.

"BC Freedom must've rearmed themselves over the past few days and quite rapidly as well. But I really don't want war with Kuromorimine as of yet, I have my eyes set on revenge." Megumi told Alexandra that she didn't want to fight the girl who got her into an alliance. She wanted to fight Kebab instead.

"Well, if you want to focus on Kebab, we need to begin gathering its puppets with a deal that they will turn against their master, and we can break their chains from their overlords. We need to begin mobilization." Alexandra told Megumi as she knew full well what her commander's intention was.

"Okay we got a large stock of Berdan rifles with five being made per-day and we just purchased about a good three thousand rifles from the Tsarevich's school. Don't know if this will be enough to arm absolutely everyone that we might gather but it is worth the try. We might double the order of rifles made if we are to fill up on some of these demands." Megumi began making a list of what they could equip their students with. "If we don't have enough rifles, we might contact Azumi to give the other school's the rest as we're going to be needing plenty of students to equip with rifles and revolvers, we have plenty of horses and artillery pieces and I want to test the tanks out as this might make good target practice in order to prepare us for Sensha-Do."

"So we're going to have to invite Alexei along for the meeting?" Alexandra asked if this was going to be correct.

"Yeah I guess so." Megumi nodded. "Write a letter to Alexei as we can use his advice and what he might say on the matter."

"You got it." Alexandra responded. She began typing the letter away to Alexei as they were going to need his assistance. The door opened as Kay walked inside feeling pretty annoyed.

"I heard you two were promoting Lola's novella, I read it myself before the printed copies were made and it's droning on about the upper-class snowflakes just typing on their Social Media on how the world should be around them." Kay began. She placed her Berdan rifle down.

"Lola is talented in the creativity department, you're talented in the sharpshooting department. She's different." Megumi told Kay there was nothing to get angry over.

"Good, give the writer the Berdan and have us fight somebody already, we can't sit around and do nothing." Kay droned on how Saunders was sitting idle and they had no opponent to fight. Alexandra walked up and she had to set Kay straight.

"Listen, you have to be patient, we're planning something, and you can't just have us rush to conclusions, that isn't how our fights will go down. If you strike too early, the enemy will notice. Plus, we can't fight our enemies alone. We need to keep preparing ourselves." Alexandra began. "If you want to fight, we will have no trouble sending you back to the previous school you went to." Alexandra gave Kay a choice, behave or face expulsion. "Now leave the office." Kay got up and left. Alexandra finally managed to put her in her place.

"Wow, I never knew you were able to put someone as spoiled as Kay or one of those aristocratic students in their place." Megumi began, she was surprised by Alexandra's bluntness.

"Saunders hasn't had a good leader since Ekaterina II, it's best we be blunt about who we talk to and keep everyone in line. We might as well begin organizing the meeting between the other schools about Saunders' revenge on Kebab." Alexandra told Megumi that Saunders lacked any good effective leadership and they needed to rule with more power.

"What about Paula? Alexeievna? Nicole? We're they good leaders too? I thought they were." Megumi asked about the three girls that came between them.

"Paula didn't do much. Alexeievna was focused on the wars against the French Schools and Nicole tried to bring change but not the changes you're doing Megumi." Alexandra responded about the students that were under the previous three girl's control.

"Okay so we might as well do what we need to do but the constitution will have to be put on hold once the other stuff I've introduced are working to their full advantage." Megumi replied. She then began to walk away with Alexandra being left to do the rest of the work.

Ankara was in her school room as she was financing the bills for her school.

"We had borrowed a lot of money for the school, but the bad news is that we spent it all on the war and I am happy!" Ankara began.

"Wait, if we borrowed something, does it mean we have to give it back?"

"Yes, we have to give it back. Tax our vassals!" Ankara gave the order.

"Are you sure about that? They need the money too, you know."

"Double the taxes! Triple the taxes! MILK EVERY LAST YEN OUT OF THEM!" Ankara shouted before she screamed.

"This will ruin us and get us into war with Saunders again."

"Don't care, raise the taxes!" Ankara ordered.

Ankara's plan of raising the taxes to pay for the war had disastrous results. Despite the attempt to pay them off, the students began to rebel the very next day. They weren't happy about it.

The couple days went by as Alexandra and Megumi were busy getting themselves ready for the journey to contact Azumi and figure out what was going on.

"Three gangs from Kebab's control have rebelled due to the taxes. The Serbian Gang, the Montenegrin gang and the Herzegovinian gang." Alexandra began to read. "Ankara is milking us dry and we would like more autonomy that she has been not giving us. We request assistance to help us fight against Kebab and finally become independent.

"So, we might as well strike a deal with the leaders from all of the vassals if we are to actually give them what they want." Megumi responded. She began to think if making an alliance against Kebab was going to be worth it and she thought it was going to be a win-win for the rebels and Saunders. "Invite the rebel leaders to BC Freedom and we'll discuss future plans there." Megumi instructed. Alexandra began typing away as she was sending the message to the rebel leaders.

The big meeting was coming around the corner.

[A/N]: We're over 50 views so far and I've been dividing up my time between reading and writing. The next chapter will be the big meeting and we've already mentioned two of the commanders who later form the Bermuda Triangle team, Megumi and Azumi. Rumi will be introduced in the next chapter as well as bringing back the tsarevich Alexei, his father and one of his sisters I believe. Also, some more Oc's will be brought up which one young girl from Count High School might as well serve as the love interest. And the chapter after that will be the first big test of Saunders and its allies.

Also the purpose of the firecracker rounds that were used until the 63rd Sensha-Do tournament where they were replaced by paintball rounds afterward. They served as a very High Explosive shot giving off the simulation of a tank round hitting another tank without penetrating and the colors are to indicate which tank fired which round. These were impressive but they were pretty hard to track which tank fired to take out the enemy and in hot enough conditions, they can detonate so wet ammunition storage is recommended. Plus this takes place before the main series, even further back than what Saunders was undergoing, this was the start of their problems. Do not use firecrackers without proper supervision or use it against humans directly.

Also, if you want a "My Way" remake, type "remake" in the reviews as I've been debating whether or not to remake my most popular GuP fanfic as I felt that while impressive, it was certainly lacking. So a revision and overhaul I would consider.

Anyways, I've been holding you up so I'm leaving you on this stub. See you later.
