The next morning, the ships had docked at the mainland, Anzio, Saunders, BC Freedom, St Gloriana, Kuromorimine, and the Dual Alliance had all shown up for their exercise of drill to show their support for Olive Academy. Kebab High School and the Anzio volunteers were fighting on land in another one of their battles. Earl Gray was leading this as she had managed to gather together the other commanders of the following schools that were going to be participating.

"I got a message from Riccioli's second in command that she's leading the volunteers and the Olive Academy students. Ankara is pushing on them hard despite the fact that they're shooting them down." Earl Gray began addressing the situation that was going on. "All we needed to do was help out with their group while letting a group of students secure Crete which we are told is a small island near the mainland. If all the defenses are broken and Olive academy falls apart, Ankara wins." Earl Gray explained what their objectives were going to be as this was going to be a bit of a difficult task.

"Okay so circle the island?" Kay asked. Earl Gray looked at Kay and she began speaking again.

"Yes. We're also landing a small force of students on the mainland to secure the bridge to the island as well as… you know… securing the island." Earl Gray told them. They nodded and the ships began to exercise.

After a couple of short assists in bombarding the area to blunt Ankara's advances, a mysterious ship appeared and was sailing at them. It was just them, that one warship. Kay, Earl Gray and the others looked up to see who it was.

"Oi! What are you doing here?" Earl Gray asked the sailors of the battleship if they had any idea what they were doing. One of the sailors grabbed a megaphone and began speaking out his words to Earl Gray.

"Мы просто приехали сюда, чтобы посмотреть, чем вы занимаетесь. Похоже, что вы занимаетесь какими-то упражнениями, и мы хотели бы присоединиться к вам." The sailor explained to Earl Gray that they wanted to participate. Earl Gray was scratching the back of her head.

"Do you have anyone on that ship that speaks English?" Earl Gray asked the sailors. She couldn't understand a word they were saying.

"Вызовем капитана, он говорит по-английски, хотя и кусками." The sailor told Earl Gray that their captain spoke English if that was going to be enough for her.

"Okay I will see what he has to say." Earl Gray told the sailors. The captain walked over, and he began speaking to her.

"Sorry that my sailors are causing you any trouble." He began. Earl Gray was surprised. He spoke English and he did so quite well. "What my sailors were trying to say is that they wished to join your exercises." Earl Gray began to think about it for a moment. The captain and his men were eager and ready to train with them.

"Okay you can train with us." Earl Gray told the captain of the lone battleship. He nodded before he began speaking again.

"Thanks again… err… who are you?" The captain would ask who the girl who organized this operation was.

"Earl Gray if you want to call me that." Earl Gray told the captain.

"Thanks again Earl Gray." The captain was able to thank Earl Gray this time before looking at the ship he was commanding. Kay looked on as she was curious as well.

"Sissoi Veliky. What does that mean?" Kay asked, Earl Gray was scratching her head when Azumi came in with the news.

"Riccioli has said that Kebab is making another push. We should fire off some shells to try to blunt their advance." Azumi called out to Earl Gray.

"All ships get within position and get ready to fire." Earl Gray gave the order. The school ships and the battleship got into their positions and began firing off with what they had. Suddenly an explosion came from one of the ships. Worried of what they were seeing, they wanted to see if everyone was alright. The explosion came from the Sissoi Veliky.

"The aft turret has exploded. My men need medical attention immediately!" The captain would call out. Earl Gray noticed it too as the aft turret was a mangled mess of metal. Earl Gray knew she needed to see what she could salvage.

"I'll send a first aid team to your ship to gather the wounded. Sit tight sir." Earl Gray told the captain of his battleship.

The short war turned out to be a bit of a humiliation to Olive Academy as Kebab reformed their standing army from the defeat they suffered earlier that year However, they weren't able to do much as the school had managed to hold them off, so they were unable to reach their objectives. Earl Gray was helping take count of who was killed or injured in the turret explosion.

"Fifteen dead sailors, several more injured." Earl Gray solemnly told the captain the casualty count of what happened back there. "Your ship is heading to Nagasaki for repairs, and we'll treat your injured."

"Much appreciated Earl Gray." The captain would tell Earl Gray he began to walk back while Azumi and Megumi walked up to Earl Gray.

"Has anyone seen Kay?" Megumi would ask. Earl Gray turned to Megumi.

"She went to settle the peace terms with Ankara." Earl Gray told Megumi where Kay had gone off to.

"What's taking her so long? I thought she would be back here by now?" Megumi asked why Kay was gone longer than before. Kay was busy having a good time with Ankara even after the peace was signed. Olive Academy had to give up very little in exchange for Crete. Kay and Ankara were laughing while eating some food.

"This is the first time I've been genuinely happy in a long while." Ankara began while taking another bite of the meat and bread that Kay had offered her.

"I'm glad you are able to enjoy yourself." Kay giggled. She passed her more potatoes that Ankara could eat.

"It seems that I have to be shouting in order to get what I want. You seem to be a very nice person…" Ankara began as she didn't know who Kay was.

"Kay." She told Ankara her name.

"Well nice to meet you. If you need anything else, call me." Ankara told Kay. Megumi then walked onto the scene as she wasn't happy with Kay.

"Kay, you're needed back at the ship. Ankara, you shouldn't have held her up longer than before." Megumi sternly decided to end the party. Kay was upset that Megumi was making up some of the rules for her to follow when in reality, it should be her doing it to Megumi.

"I want to speak to Ankara." Kay protested as Megumi picked her up and moved her back to her school.

"You need to learn to lead and not socialize with our enemies." Megumi told Kay that she had more important jobs to worry about instead of hanging out with Ankara. Kay didn't know what to say.

Alexandra during that day had been moved off her friend's carrier and was spending time with her cousin. They had transferred to the Kiev class carrier as they were walking down the hallway.

"Thanks for providing me with shelter Nonna." Alexandra began. Nonna brushed her short hair aside while she was walking along with her.

"You're very welcome. You could have made a great leader if your kidneys didn't act up the way they did. I heard some things from Tatiana. But one of the things that you seemed to be good at that Kay isn't is speaking the language of the people far to the northwest. Pravda makes regular stops to Vladivostok from time to time and we make our own electronics as the country doesn't have the machinery to do such a thing." Nonna explained to Alexandra that she was more than welcome to stay. Alexandra nodded.

"I am grateful for your generosity, but do you think I will be able to return home?" Alexandra asked. Nonna wasn't entirely sure about this.

"I don't know when you could return home, but I'll get you to my friends in the meantime." Nonna replied. They walked along the hallway when they got to the door. They heard some shouting and decided to figure out what was happening.

"You fat headed simple-minded vapid cockeyed imbecile. TENDERHEART BEAR IS A FAR SUPERIOR BEAR TO BEDTIME BEAR!" Someone shouted. The door swung open to see someone crying running out of the room.

"What's wrong with her?" Alexandra asked.

"She disagreed with Fumie, our commander." Nonna answered her question. Alexandra was more or less puzzled.

"Who is she?" Alexandra asked Nonna about Natalia.

"You'll see when you meet her." Nonna told Alexandra to have some patience. She opened the door to see who was inside. Inside were several students as they were busy with their paperwork and their stuff.

"Who are they?" Alexandra asked Nonna.

"I'll introduce them to you." Nonna replied. She began to walk over, and she began to introduce Alexandra to everyone. "This is the leader of the group; her name is Fumie. She's pretty nice but don't dare to disagree with her or you might end up like that poor girl. Now the next one is Shinobu, but we call her Lisa, charismatic and close friend of Fumie. And the others are Reni, Ruiko and Shieru." Nonna introduced Alexandra to the students in their inner circle.

"What do you do for a living?" Alexandra asked.

"We mostly write newspapers and stuff which we smuggle onto other school ships in order to tell them how great the works of Karl and Engels are and how we should take over the other schools. However, we don't have the best stuff as we're mostly a secondhand school whose budget goes into the Sensha-Do team which we're all a part of and you're just the cavalry lady?" Nonna explained to Alexandra what they did while the typewriters clattered away as they were typing up their papers.

"I like horses, yes." Alexandra told Nonna. "I want to get back at Kay for abolishing the cavalry."

"Well looks like you're going to have to wait for a bit while we get everything settled as we still need money." Nonna told Alexandra. One of the students spoke.

"Has anyone seen Katyusha?" Reni asked.

"She said she was getting some money for the group so we can recruit more members which I managed to snag a Saunders exile from my cousin." Nonna told Reni where their friend was.

"You managed to get another member for our group. That's nice. The members of group 3B are having trouble as their typewriters aren't working." Reni also reported that the group is having problems with their equipment.

"Again? That's the third time this week." Nonna grumbled as this was slowing down their progress.

"Hopefully the funds that Katyusha does get from the fundraiser she has going on will go into better equipment so we can continue the advertising of our ideals." Reni posted that about what was going to happen. Nonna nodded.

"Tell Clementia that she might as well fix the typewriters. Otherwise, some of the keys will be missing from 3B." Nonna also stated that they were going to remove those that were causing the sabotages if things don't get fixed.

"I think we're better off buying new equipment if things will be easier." Reni added. Then the door swung open as Katyusha came along with two big sacks of money. She was followed by four others as they were helping her out.

"Katyusha, you're back, how much money did you get?" Nonna asked. Katyusha smiled before opening one of the sacks.

"That bank we had taken over six million Yen. And we managed to do it all without a hitch." Katyusha replied. Alexandra walked over to see Katyusha.

"So, a pint-sized fundraiser girl?" Alexandra asked with curiosity. Katyusha was unsettled before she turned to her friend.

"Nonna!" Katyusha called out. Alexandra looked on as within moments, Katyusha was sitting on Nonna's shoulders. "Katyusha isn't as small as you might think. Katyusha won't let the worst of the teasing and physical injuries get to her." Katyusha beamed with pride as she thought she was the one leading. Shinobu got up and walked over to her.

"Get down from there. Fumie is leading this group, not you." Lisa told Katyusha she better know her place.

"How dare you insult me. I will have you purged if I take over." Katyusha told Shinobu (Lisa) that she would have her removed from command if she took the spot. Shinobu grumbled before she walked away. Alexandra was curious.

"How does the great Katyusha fundraise so much money for our cause?" Alexandra asked as she seemed to be curious.

"I actually do a lot of fundraising for our cause. And by fundraising, I mean kidnapping, robbing, extorting, bribing, ransoming, assassinating, prison breaking, stealing, bank raiding, executioning and stealing again." Katyusha explained her various methods to raise vast sums of money.

"How do you not get caught then?" Alexandra asked Katyusha how she hadn't get caught so far.

"I've been caught many times, but I just changed aliases, so the police have a hard time tracking me down. I eventually settled on Katyusha. So, the secret ingredient to this organization is crime." Katyusha explained how she was able to help the group let alone the school make a living.

"Nice nice. I think if I had something to do for now, I will be more than happy to stick around." Alexandra told Nonna that she needed something to do in order to pass the time. Nonna began to think about it for a moment and after a couple of moments, she came to a conclusion.

"Well since we're in need of typists, want to be one?" Nonna offered the job for Alexandra to actually help out where she needed to be.

"Sure thing, is there an application that I need to submit in order to get approved?" Alexandra asked if there was a process like submitting a resume if she was to get the job. Nonna began to think about it before she began speaking again.

"Not at all, we accept anyone who doesn't disagree with Fumie." Nonna explained that they were willing to take everyone in just so long as you don't disagree with the commander. Alexandra nodded before Fumie began walking over to greet her.

"Hello there… you must be?" Fumie began speaking as she wanted to introduce herself to the new person.

"Alexandra, Nonna had brought me here." Alexandra introduced herself.

"I'm Natalia." Fumie told her of what she liked to be called. "Nonna brought you here from your cousin and we are wondering if we are going to get you set up?"

"Sure thing, you know where I will be assigned?" Alexandra told Fumie where she was going to be working. Fumie began to think about it and she thought of something.

"Based on your age, you will be working with me and Lisa. We're still trying to figure out what we should do with all of this money Katyusha has gotten us." Fumie knew they had brought in a student that was just as old as they were. "How good is your typing?"

"Pretty good. I'm not really the creative type." Alexandra replied. She loved work but she wasn't the one to really come up with original material. Fumie nodded.

"Okay, just write whatever we say, and we'll make mass copies of it." Fumie nodded as if they could get Alexandra to do as she was told, they were going to be able to spread their message around. Alexandra smiled.

"As long as I can get my horses back and I could go riding ever since Kay got rid of them for stupid tanks." Alexandra grumbled; she wasn't fond of her new tsarina.

"I like cats and children." Fumie admitted. "Sometimes I play with them for hours and Lisa would tell me we have to make more posters of revolution to smuggle to the other schools to get them to overthrow their leaders and bring the communist dream to them."

"I was the one to fear change, but you think this kind of change can keep the people in check and under control?" Alexandra asked, thinking of what she was taught in Saunders. Being formidable like a wall of stone and cement and absorbing all the punches being thrown at her.

"Yes. It's what you make of it." Fumie replied and they sat down to show Alexandra her typewriter.

"Lisa is coming to give you the stuff to type. We're going to need more members to build up what we need." Fumie explained to Alexandra. Shinobu came along with the papers that Alexandra was going to manually type up.

"Type the ones highlighted." Lisa instructed Alexandra to type only what had been highlighted. Alexandra nodded and she began typing away. Fumie turned to Katyusha.

"Katyusha. We need you to go spy on Saunders and see if we can recruit more members for our organization. Lisa, I want you to go along and set up ways to coordinate strikes and supply the workers." Fumie explained what they were going to do if they were going to make any sort of progress against Saunders and spread the revolution.

"We'll see what we can do." Lisa explained. She and Katyusha began to walk away as their next target was Saunders. Katyusha was wondering how they could stage something to really throw the school off balance. They just needed the opportunity of when.

Nighttime fell. Lyova was driving back from his office as he wanted to visit Kay about something. The school was growing very fast as factories and businesses were opened and had dotted the once empty streets. Much of the agriculture was now being performed below decks. He parked the car and walked over to the school. Once entering inside. He went to Kay's dorm and knocked on it.

"It's open." Kay told Lyova. Lyova entered the room as he had some news for Kay. He found Kay was jumping on her bed like a little kid.

"Um Kay… we need to talk." Lyova began. Kay continued to jump on her bed.

"What is Lyova?" Kay asked him as she continued her play.

"Kay about industrialization. We managed to build the factories but we're getting some nasty side effects from rapid industrialization." Lyova began. He wanted to bring up what exactly was happening as Kay continued to jump on her bed.

"What side effects?" Kay asked.

"Long hours, low wages, the factories are dirty and overcrowded, people are losing fingers as it's too crowded to do much of anything. And the worst part of it all is that these workers are doing what workers do best. They're going on strike." Lyova told Kay what this was turning out to be. People didn't want to work now, and production was grinding to a halt. "Despite my best efforts, people in Saunders are still not happy. The peasants are still poor, the liberals want reform to bring back their inclusion and equity and now the workers want better working conditions." Lyova explained what exactly was happening and Kay was mismanaging the school and it was beginning to fall apart. Kay began to think about it.

"If we made liberal reforms, that would change the dream of the school that I wanted to make it to be." Kay was worried that the former aristocrats were growing unhappy and might bring terrible conditions to the school.

"Maybe it will make Saunders a better place…" Lyova began as he looked at the time. "Hey Kay? Isn't it past your bedtime?"

"But I haven't had my milk and snuggles yet." Kay declared as she stopped jumping on her bed. "Will… you snuggle me?" Kay asked Lyova.

"Ummm…" Lyova nervously told Kay. He wasn't one to really do this sugar job. He finally walked over and sat on the bed; he began snuggling Kay while having some milk for her. He didn't really like doing this as Kay was supposed to be sleeping at this point. Kay thought she was going to change nothing as modernization was boring to her. However, she was going to let Lyova continue doing his thing if it meant improving the school even more. However, no amount of what he was going to be doing was going to improve the school at all.

Alice meanwhile was watching the most recent news. She was exhausted.

"War with Blue Division over a few islands and Chi-Ha-Tan having a war with the Chinese school now that war is done…" Baby Lee began. She noticed a letter and walked over. It was from Kay.

Dear Alice.

I am running out of things to do. Megumi still has me in chains and Lyova is trying to limit what I am able to do. I thought progress was going to go fast and the school would be like what your school is by now but after a few days, it feels like I'm climbing up a very steep hill and I keep slipping on it. I want to implement the changes before the new year rolls around. I need ways to figure out how I can bypass it and continue to party with progress getting made.

Kay.

Alice read the letter as she began debating what she should do? She wanted to write back to her friend but could there be the possibility of Kay taking things too far without any sense of the word responsibility? She began to think it over while figuring out what to write. A knock was heard on her door.

"Who is it?" Baby Lee asked.

"It's me Teddy, your daddy." Theodore told his daughter.

"Come in." Baby Lee told him. Theodore entered the room to see Alice contemplating what to do next. Alice was sitting around with the letter as she didn't know what to do next.

"Hello there my little daughter. Is something bothering you?" Theodore asked his daughter if there was anything that was biting her leg. Alice looked at her father before she began speaking.

"Kay has sent me a letter and I don't know how to respond to this. It feels like her school isn't making any progress when it comes to when we first met. She feels like she has chains still to her ankles like someone is making the decisions for her. How should I respond to this?" Baby Lee explained to her father about how she was going to write this letter back to Kay. Theodore picked up the letter and began to read it.

"We'll arrange something to figure out what is wrong, and we'll proceed from there. If there are any events that happen beforehand, we'll push the date back." Theodore explained to his daughter how this letter was going to be conducted.

"Okay let me begin writing." Baby Lee told her father.

Dear Kay.

Your offer is tempting. We'll arrange a date for us to meet you to see how the school is doing. We'll figure it out from there and we could try helping you out to make life in the school better. We definitely want to see you again and we'll sit down for a date. If anything, else happens, the date we chose will be pushed back two to three days as we would like to deal with what we have on our hands first.

Sincerely, Alice.

Alice then got out an envelope and placed the letter into it. She then began to seal it up and gave it to her father.

"Take this to the mailroom, this is going out back to her." Baby Lee told her father. Theodore nodded and he took the letter from his daughter. Alice was left to her thoughts, and she now wished to relax. She knew that the next day was going to get rougher.

The Chinese school was about to explode.

[A/N]: I'm briefly bringing up a Chinese school as there is going to be an important event that will occur that will set up for the first revolution that is going to happen. Katyusha and her friends are going to infiltrate their way into Saunders and all of the schools are going to ally together with each other for a short period of time.

Also, I apologize for going on a one-month Hiatus with this, I got busy writing something else and beginning to seek interests elsewhere. Don't know if I will tell you this if I decide to take a break from this if I get bored.

Oh, and remember when I said I was reading War and Peace, I finished that book. Took me three months flat to read the entire thing and I will move onto the other books I have.

Okay I'm just pulling your leg at this point. I got to go.
