Aaron sat in a booth at a local bar and grill the girls had found. It was nice enough to not set any alarms off within him. He made sure to grab the one closest to the exit door, which also gave him a clear view of who came and went. Unfortunately, the grill part of the bar was having issues with their equipment. So they busied themselves with drinks and a few items of food that didn't need flame.

Hotch settled in the booth, content in doing nothing but watch. Kate and Emily were currently dancing in the middle of the bar, to some upbeat country song. JJ and Garcia were on the side playing some darts, and by the looks of it, JJ was not going easy on his mate. Adhara was curled up at his side dozing off. Feeling her head slide off his shoulder, he caught her and shifted so her head rested on his lap. Grabbing the jacket he discarded earlier, Hotch draped it over the sleeping woman. Looking back up his eyes shifted from one pair to the other.

Sipping on his beer, his attention was drawn to the three women walking into. Two tall blonde females and a young teenage brunette. Something in him caused a slight shiver to run down his spine. He knew who and what they were. As long as they didn't go near his mates, he didn't care what they did. It wasn't like they knew of him.

Rebekah ordered their drinks before taking them toward a booth. The moment she sat down, she took notice of the male sitting in the next booth with a girl about Hope's age, if not a little older sleeping on his lap. She watched him for a moment, studying him in a way. He was handsome with midnight-colored hair. A close-cut beard covering his jawline. She instantly knew he was tall maybe 6'1-6'2. Following his line of sight, she spotted four women. Each one glancing back at him ever so often. Almost as if checking in. Looking back at him, Rebekah noticed the strain on his shoulders. It was the same one Elijah got when he was unable to relax and overstress. The black dress shirt did nothing in hiding the outline of his muscles.

"Hey!" Freya whispered loudly. "What has you drooling?"

"I don't drool."

Hope handed her a napkin. "You got some drool in the corner of your mouth."

Snatching the napkin from her niece, she whipped her lips. "Just admiring."

"Who?" Hope sat up looking around the bar.

"Will you sit down." Pushing her back down, she gestured to the man sitting next to them. "Tall, dark, and handsome."

"Oh yeah, I spotted him coming in." Freya confessed. "Has light hazel eyes by the way."

"Shame you like girls." Hope sighed.

"And married." Rebekah added.

Freya raised a brow. "And I would still snatch him out from underneath your feet."

"Bold of you to think I would allow myself to be snatched by any of you." Hotch glanced back at them. Forcing himself to not laugh at the look of embarrassment on their faces. Took his mind off the awkwardness should they find out who he was. "For the record, I'm taken. Times 3."

Hope laughed. "Now that was fun."

Freya shoved her head back. "Shut up."

Garcia made her way back to the booth. Sliding in she pushed herself against Hotch's side. "JJ has a mean competitor side."

"I warned you." Hotch chuckled. "There is a reason none of us play with her. We leave that to the poor suckers who think they have a chance." Kissing her on the head, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "How long before those two get tired of dancing?"

"Another hour or so." Garcia murmured. "They had a few drinks before getting up. That's fuel for Kate."

"Wonderful." Looking down he noticed her eyes slowly closing. "You're tired?"

"No." She yawned. "But then again I always get sleepy when I'm snuggled into you."

"Don't know if I should take that as a compliment or-"

"Compliment." She mumbled.

His hand trailed down to her stomach, resting against the small bump starting to form. "How have you been feeling?"

"I'm fine Aaron. She's fine." Tossing her head back she pecked him under his jawline. His beard tickling her lips. "She's a mover that much I know."

Moving his free hand to cup her jaw, he leaned down and kissed her gently. "Just like her mother. Can't sit still for more than five minutes."

Rebekah couldn't help but listen in on their conversation. It gave her a hit of jealousy, to be honest. Marcel and she had called it quits a few months back. She missed having a pair of secured arms around her.

"What are they doing here?" Freya scoffed.

Rebekah frowned at not seeing anyone. "Who?"

"Alaric and Jeremy." Hope rolled her eyes. "I thought they were told not to hunt here."

Freya gave her a 'you believed that' sort of look. "They are hunters. That rule doesn't apply to them apparently."

"Doesn't matter who or what they are." Rebekah muttered. "We have control of this part of the town. Elijah gave them clear instructions not to come here without letting us know beforehand."

Hotch having heard the conversation, quickly gathered the girl's attention. Without a second of hesitation, they all piled into the booth. Hotch made sure to sit on the end, in case he needed to react against either one.

"What is it?" Kate asked.

Hotch jerked his head towards the two males by the bar. "Hunters."

"You think they know?" Garcia was suddenly no longer tired.

"About me?" Hotch shook his head. "That won't stop them from prying if they suspect something."

"But you aren't with them." JJ pointed out having noticed the sisters.

"They don't know that." Hotch reminded them. Before he could say anything more, the hunters moved toward the booth beside them. Garcia's hand gripping his arm. "Pen?"

"You need to help them." Garcia whispered. "They haven't done anything."

"You don't know that." Hotch whispered back. But he did. He was aware of all the pain and blood that the family has caused. "Hunters don't target just for the hell of it."

"This one does." Emily gestured to the tattoo on the arm of the youngest. "One of the six."

Hotch gritted his teeth. "Alright." Turning back towards the three ladies, he exhaled softly. "So, are you going to take me up on my offer?" He spotted the two men pause their advances. "Show me around this city?"'

Rebekah open and closed her mouth a few times before a look of relief appeared. "Of course. Can't have a tourist like yourself roaming around freely." Gathering her bags, she motioned for the others to get moving quickly. "I know the perfect place for dinner if you're still hungry."

"Starving." Standing from the booth, he allowed the others to slide out. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the moment. Slapping the hand going for the youngest of the three, he shoved the eldest hunter back. "I wouldn't do that if I were you."

"You're new." Alaric rubbed the spot on his chest Hotch hit. "New play toy of yours Rebekah?"

Rebekah rolled her eyes. "Jealous?"

Taking a step forward he was blocked by Hotch once more. "It'd be wise if you two left. Leave the ladies alone before you regret it."

"You don't know who you're messing with." Jeremy reached for the knife behind his back, only to have Aaron beat him to it.

"I won't repeat myself." Handing the knife to Emily, he gestured to the door. "Leave."

Alaric grabbed Jeremy from moving in on the man. "Leave it." Something was off about the stranger. He showed no hesitation in approaching them. Nor did he react in seeing the mark of the six on Jeremy. It was as if he didn't fear the hunter. "We have others matters to attend to."

Jeremy glared at Hotch. "See you around."

Giving them a sly grin, he kept his eye on Jeremy. "Why is it that you always get me into these situations?" Hotch grumbled once the hunters were gone.

Garcia shrugged unbothered. "You three okay?"

Freya nodded. "Yes, but why did you help us?"

"What my aunt meant was thank you." Hope jumped in.

"Thank them, not me." Hotch gestured to his mate. Who were currently inspecting the young teenager for any damages. "What they says goes."

"Where are our manners." JJ huffed. "I'm JJ, that's Garcia, Emily, Kate, and our daughter Adhara. He is Aaron."

"I'm Freya." The oldest waved. "That's my sister Rebekah and niece Hope." Her eyes turned back to Hotchner. "You know about us?" He nodded. "You know what we are?"

"Yes." Glancing at his watch he nearly groaned. "We are going to be late."

Kate frowned. "For what?"

"For the show, you and Adhara begged me to get tickets for."

Freya nudged Rebekah, nodding her head towards the leaving group. "Wait!"

Aaron turned back around with a raised brow. "Yes?"

"Why not come to dinner at our place." Freya offered.

"No, thank you." Aaron was quick to dismiss the offer.

"Aaron!" JJ scoffed. "Forgive him, he isn't the most people-friendly."

"It's fine, we have brothers just the same." Freya chuckled. "It's a thank you for helping us back there."

"Most people tend to stay clear of us." Hope muttered. "You're one of the few to help us regardless of what you know."

Hotch glanced down at his side, at feeling someone tug his sleeve. Crouching to her eye level, he ducked his head. "What is it?" Adhara glanced at Hope and nodded her head. "You want to go?" She nodded again. Hotch dropped his head with a sigh. "Alright, darling." Kissing her on the head, he stood to his full height. "We accept."

"Perfect!" Rebekah gave a giddy chuckle. "Anything you like in particular?"

"Not really." JJ replied. "We aren't picky."

Aaron stood back allowing the woman to mingle. Adhara stayed by his side, her hands in his. "You okay?" The girl looked up at him with wide blue eyes. She tugged at his hand. Hotch bent down getting a kiss on the cheek in return. He chuckled softly. "I'll take that as a yes."

"I don't mean to be rude, but can she not talk?" Hope appeared beside him.

Hotch shook his head. "No. But she understands sign language and can read lips."

"Ah, okay." She held her hand out for Adhara to shake. "I'm Hope."

Adhara shook Hope's hand with a bright smile. 'Adhara' she signed.

"Adhara, does that have any special meaning?"

"Adhara is the name of the brightest star." Garcia replied. "Aaron named her after it."

"I like it." Hope said, earning a proud smile from Adhara.

Hotch gave a polite smile back. This was not what he expected coming here. This was the last place he wanted to be. The last people, he wanted to be with. After the betrayal and attack from his parents, he vowed never to come near them.
