I do not own Harry Potter, the Wizarding World, or any canon characters.

Note: Surprise Saturday update. I had a really rough day today, a perfect storm of a difficult day of work, a very unpleasant interaction at the grocery store, and lately had some very bad reviews and comments so an extra update for some positive energy. I've been sitting on this chapter for a bit and am rather happy with it, hopefully you all enjoy it too. Thank you for reading, it means the world to me.

Chapter 85 – Expectations and Rebellions

Takes place years after chapter 82.

They landed in a heap, a jumble of limbs and bodies. Hadley groaned a little, wincing at the elbow planted firmly in her stomach. "Will we ever get used to portkeys?"

Tracy smiled as she helped the girls stand, being the only one that remained fully upright. "Some do, some don't. If it makes you girls feel better, you're way better at it than me when I was your age. Took me a while to not throw up when I landed. Aren't you glad I shrunk your things? Imagine portkeying with a broom."

"Ouch, no thank you," Hailey shuddered. "Thank you, Auntie Tracy."

"You're welcome." She hesitated for a moment. "Is everything okay, girls? Did something bad happen at the camp?"

Dahlia, Hailey, and Hadley looked at each other for a moment before looking back up at Tracy, shaking their heads in unison. "No Auntie Tracy," they said together.

Tracy smiled. "It's so funny when you three do that." Her smile faded a little. "Are you sure? You know you lot can tell me anything and I'll more than likely not tell your parents."

"We know," Dahlia said with a small smile. "Nothing really bad happened, promise."

"Alright, well let me know if I can do anything." Tracy looked at her watch. "I gotta run. You lot can make it back home from here right?" She grinned at three identical flat looks. "Hey, just being a caring auntie." She hugged the three girls and kissed Dahlia on the forehead before disapparating.

"Are you okay?" Hadley asked Dahlia.

Dahlia sighed and rubbed her neck like she saw Harry do many times when he was thinking. "Yeah. I mean, I dunno."

"I still say we go back next time with my box," Hailey said mutinously.

"Our Mums would kill us," Hadley said.

"It might be worth it," Hailey argued. "He doesn't get to talk about Dally or us like that. The Mums and Daddy and Uncle Freddy would understand. Daddy and Uncle Freddy would help us."

"I'm not saying they don't deserve it, but if I'm going to get into big trouble, I want it to be worth it," Hadley argued back.

"And defending Dally and us wouldn't be worth it?!"

"Of course it would! But they're all pathetic and I think it's punishment enough that they're that pathetic!"

Hailey sighed. "Well, what do you think Dally?"

Dahlia chewed her lip. "I don't think we should do that. It'd be funny but I don't want to get in trouble for that. Plus it might be bad for Daddy and Mummy and AngieMum and Uncle Oliver."

"That's a good point, I didn't think about that," Hailey admitted.

"I still say we should just tell our parents," Hadley said. "Let them handle it. AngieMum and Daddy would crush them, same with Mummy."

"But then we'd be proving them right," Hailey said.

"There's really not much more we can do though," Hadley grumbled. "Besides ignoring them."

"Which is boring," Hailey grumbled. She sighed and looked at Dahlia. "What do you think?"

Dahlia shrugged. "I dunno."

They lapsed into silence.

"I'm going to talk to someone," Dahlia said at last. "See what they think."

"That's a good idea. Who?" Hadley looked thoughtful.

"Probably Auntie Luna," Dahlia said slowly.

"She's probably the best to talk to about it," Hailey nodded. "Want us to come with?"

"Not right now. I'll definitely tell you what she says after."

"That's fair. You going now?" Hadley asked.

Dahlia nodded. "Can you tell Mummy and Daddy that I went to talk to Auntie Luna for me?"

"We will. See you later." Hailey and Hadley waved and walked off towards their houses while Dahlia walked off at an angle towards Luna's home.

Not for the first time, and most certainly would not be the last time, Dahlia was thankful for their neighborhood. Everyone who lived there was very close, both in terms of relationships and proximity, and it was a short walk to get to anyone's home. She knew she was lucky that she had so many people near that she could talk to about anything. It was perfectly safe to walk around without an escort, though admittedly it was only when they were older that they could walk around unaccompanied.

Dahlia walked down the lane, running over the day's events in her mind, trying to put her thoughts into order. The storm in her mind stilled as she approached Luna's cottage. Luna's home had that kind of effect on her. She felt calmer when she was there. The surroundings felt more natural for some reason: the creek louder and softer, the flowers brighter and sweeter.

Every home in the village felt a very different way to her. Hermione's was quiet and perfect for reading and thinking. Daphne and Tracy's was orderly and neat and had an elegance to it. Tonks' home was comfortable and messy in a good way. The Weasley's was chaos and noise and fun. The Wood's was proper and kind. Fleur's home was fancy and comforting in a different way.

She was a little biased but Dahlia thought the Potter home was the most comfortable and warmest of them all.

Dahlia rang the small silver bell that hung on the front gate post a few times before walking through the gate. "Auntie Luna?" she called out.

"In the back garden!" Luna called back.

Dahlia walked around the house and smiled when she saw Luna. The older woman sat at her easel and was painting, her palettes and brushes floating around her. A picture hung in front of her and she was painting it onto her canvas, her wand tucked behind her ear and a brush hung from her mouth.

"Hello Dally," Luna said warmly, not looking away from her painting and chewing on the brush handle.

"I'm not bothering you, am I?" Dahlia asked.

"Not in the slightest." Luna looked at her, frowning slightly. "Is everything okay?"

"I was hoping to talk to you about something."

"I'd be happy to. May it wait a moment? This feels like it will require my whole attention and I wanted to finish this painting thought."

"Oh yes, no rush. Thank you." Dahlia watched happily as Luna went back to her painting. She adored watching Luna work. The woman approached all mediums of art with such professional grace and attention and Dahlia tried to emulate it when she drew.

After a few strokes of the brush, Luna nodded with satisfaction. "There. That's enough for now." She pulled her wand from behind her ear and waved it, the palettes drifted to a side table and the brushes ordered themselves into a cup, followed by the one she had in her mouth. She turned and smiled kindly at Dahlia. "Thank you for your patience. Will this be a tea conversation or a butterbeer conversation?"

"Uhm, what's the difference?"

"Tea conversations are more serious and butterbeer ones are more soothing." She frowned once more. "Alcohol conversations are much more serious and you are far too young for those however, not to mention for the alcohol itself."

"Oh it's not that bad," Dahlia said hurriedly. "Tea I guess."

Luna nodded and patted the chair beside her. As Dahlia sat, she walked to the open kitchen window and gestured with her wand. After a few moments, a kettle and two cups came flying out. Puffs of steam wafted from the kettle and poured out fragrant tea into the waiting cups before settling on a small table.

Luna waited for Dahlia to take a sip. "Now then, what's on your mind?"

"We went to that Quidditch camp today," Dahlia said after a moment of tea introspection.

"How was it?"

"It was okay. I mean, playing Quidditch is always fun and it was interesting playing against other kids for once, especially ones we never played against before."

Luna smiled. "Instead of your parents and the aunties and uncles on Portree."

Dahlia nodded.

"I imagine the three of you were very good comparatively."

Dahlia preened a little. "Mmhmm! I mean, it's not completely fair because Portree is the best and Daddy and AngieMum and Uncle Oliver are the best too and we learned a lot from them. But we played hard and seriously."

Luna tilted her head. "So what happened? I can tell you are a little upset."

Dahlia sighed. "Some of the instructors were a little rude. Like they made comments that weren't nice."

"And what did they say?" Luna asked, frowning now.

"Stuff like of course the three of us are good and that it'd be bad if we were bad. That sort of thing." She smiled wanly at Luna's obvious irritation. "But that wasn't the worst of it." She felt better when Luna hugged her from the side. "One of them, he was saying some really rude stuff about me not wanting to play Seeker."

"That's none of his business what you want to play," Luna said indignantly. She hugged Dahlia firmly. "What did he say?"

"He was saying it's pathetic that a Seeker's child didn't want to play Seeker," Dahlia mumbled, looking down at the ground. "That I'm disrespecting him and I'm a disappointment."

"I'll show him disrespect," Luna snapped. "How dare he!"

Dahlia's head snapped up at Luna's tone and she smiled at Luna's displeasure.

Luna's ire faded slightly at Dahlia's smile. "Don't pay attention to him. I'm sure he's just bitter that your Daddy crushes him in the League."

"I think he plays for Ballycastle."

"Fuck Ballycastle," Luna spat. She flushed at Dahlia's giggle.

"I won't tell Mummy and Daddy you said that," Dahlia giggled more.

"They won't care. I've said worse," Luna smiled. "Surely you don't believe him?"

"No but…I…" Dahlia's smile disappeared and she looked away.

"Go on, what's wrong?" Luna asked softly.

"I…I don't really like playing Seeker," Dahlia whispered. "I've tried and I'm okay at it but I don't love it like I do playing Chaser."

"There's nothing wrong with that," Luna said soothingly.

"But Daddy is the best Seeker in the world! What if he's really upset and he gets really disappointed at me?!" She squawked when Luna poked her nose.

"Dahlia Kaitlyn Potter, your father loves you very much," Luna said gently but firmly. "You wanting to play a different position would never upset him nor disappoint him. I know precisely how he would react. First he would ask if you are happy, then if you still like flying, then make absolutely sure that you are happy. Even if you did not like Quidditch or flying, he would not be upset with you. Don't ever think that."

Hearing Luna say that filled Dahlia with relief. The worry and tension that she carried all day finally started to ebb away and she melted into Luna's arms. "You think so?" she asked, voice quiet and shaking.

"I know so," Luna said emphatically, hugging Dahlia close. "Your father would care about your well-being and happiness first and foremost before considering anything else." She patted Dahlia's back reassuringly.

"That's good," Dahlia whispered, feeling immense relief.

"He probably has an idea of it as it is," Luna said. "You and Hadley and Hailey are very much like your mothers. You three have always been sisters in all but blood and I just know you will make a Chaser team that will rival them."

Dahlia smiled proudly. "You think so?"

"I do." Luna sat back a little. "Have you even thought about playing Quidditch professionally?"

"Not really? I mean, I know I'll want to play at Hogwarts but not sure after that. I'll always want to play for fun though." She shrugged. "I just…have more fun chasing instead of seeking."

"Then that's what matters," Luna said.

"Daddy won't get mad?"

"I sincerely doubt he will," Luna reassured.

"That's good." Dahlia released a deep breath. "I'm being silly, aren't I?"

"Not really. If it bothers you that much, then it isn't silly to you." Luna patted her comfortingly. "As we get older, some past troubles become sillier in comparison, but they aren't silly at the time. You love your father very much and I know you don't want to disappoint him. Trust me when I say that in this matter, you wouldn't. Not at all."

"Thank you, Auntie Luna," Dahlia said and hugged her tight. "I love you."

"I love you too, Dally," Luna said and kissed her forehead. "I'm always happy to chat with you and help how I can."

"You're the best to talk to about these things," Dahlia said.

"That's very sweet of you to say," Luna smiled prettily.

They sat there together, enjoying the warm sunlight.

"I should just tell him then, shouldn't I?" Dahlia asked.

"That would be best and he will be completely understanding. He may pretend to be dramatic about it later, but that will only be for show and fun. Your mother will be quite happy, I'm sure."

"That'll be good," Dahlia agreed. "Are you coming for dinner tonight? I think we're having ravioli."

"Oh lovely. I will go get some ice cream to bring over then."

Despite feeling better after talking to Luna, Dahlia was still a little apprehensive when she walked back home. A part of her knew that her parents would support her decisions for playing Quidditch, among other things of course. Yet she desperately never wanted to ever upset them, especially Harry. The idea that she would made her stomach roil and she stopped to take a deep breath before walking inside.

She smiled at the familiar sight. Harry making something in the kitchen, Iris sitting at the kitchen table helping. Katie leaning against the counter and holding Lucas. She stopped once more but not from nerves. There was a comforting feeling of home right there, a feeling that everything was right in her world at that moment.

"Hey there flower, are you okay?" Harry asked when he noticed her standing there. "Hadley and Hailey said you went to talk to Auntie Luna?"

Dahlia nodded. "I have something to say."

That caught their attention and they all stopped what they were doing and looked at her seriously.

"Go on, Dahlia," Katie said encouragingly.

"Idon'tlikeplayingSeeker," she said in a rush, her words hurried and jumbled. She flushed at their confused looks. "I mean…I really like playing Chaser and I really wanted to like playing Seeker but I'm not as good at it and I want to be good at it to make you proud but I am sad that I can't be like you but I really want to and I'm really sorry that I can't be Seeker and please don't hate me!"

Harry blinked a few times and looked at her seriously. "Dahlia, this is something you want, right? You like playing Chaser and you want to, and no one is forcing you to?" He continued at her nod. "And you're happy and you're okay? You don't feel hurt or unwell?"

"Yes? I mean yes I'm happy and okay and nothing hurts," Dahlia said.

Harry slumped against the counter. "Oh thank goodness," he groaned, rubbing his chest. "Is that all?"

"What do you mean, is that all?!" Dahlia cried indignantly. She was happy that Harry was not upset and nettled that he did not see the situation as mind-wracking as she had.

"I thought something was legitimately wrong!" Harry said.

"Breathe love," Katie said, her voice quivering from suppressed hilarity. She rubbed his back and her hand shook so hard she was patting him. "That's it, take deep breaths." She winked at Dahlia. "You have to remember your father is very delicate, flower."

"Why'd you do that to Daddy?!" Iris shouted and Lucas glared at his older sister.

"What?! Hey! I mean!" Dahlia resisted the urge to stomp her foot, glaring back at Iris and guiltily glaring at Harry.

Harry opened his arms and waited for Dahlia to rush into them. He picked her up and hugged her tight. "Dahlia, I'm just happy you like to fly and play Quidditch. All positions are important and as long as you're happy, then that's what matters. Did you really think I'd be upset with you over this? Why'd you think I'd hate you?!"

"I really didn't!" Dahlia shouted into his ear and hugged him even tighter. "But the instructor at the camp said it I was a disappointment for not wanting to be a Seeker and that you weren't a good one if I didn't want to play the position. That I'm disrespectful."

"Who said that?" Katie asked angrily.

"Gellers," Harry growled. "I heard he was doing the camp. I'm going to plow him into the ground for this. I'll teach him to talk to my daughter like that!"

Dahlia felt much better seeing that her parents' ire was firmly directed at Gellers. She snuggled closer to Harry.

"I know their team healers. You better believe they won't like it either," Katie hissed. "That overblown trou du cul!"

"Mummy!" Dahlia gasped.

"What?" Katie said defensively. "Iris and Lucas don't know what that means and I'm quite angry right now."

Harry sighed, chuckling at seeing the shocked expressions on their children's faces. It was rare for him or Katie to look angry like that in front of them and the three of them were staring with wide eyes. "Dally, and this applies to all three of you, but as long as you are happy and try your best, then nothing you do will disappoint me or your mother. We love you all dearly."

"Don't listen to what other alleged adults say," Katie said. "He definitely should know better than to drag you into this. There will always be people who say rude and mean things because they want to hurt you. Don't give them the satisfaction. There's so many things that will hurt you, so don't let rude people be one of them."

She beckoned Iris over and they stood together, arms around each other, enjoying the closeness and warmth.

Dahlia felt much better. A tiny ember of shame sat deep inside, one that made her felt bad for ever doubting her parents, but her relief kept it at bay.

"So you like chasing more?" Harry asked after a while of comfortable silence.

Dahlia nodded. "It's so much fun doing plays with Hadley and Hailey. And we're good at it."

"You three are brilliant," Harry praised and kissed her cheek.

"Mummy, are you okay?" Iris asked, looking up at her mother with concern.

Harry looked at his wife and snorted and smirked. "You can let it out, love."

Katie was trying hard to keep herself from smiling broadly. "Are you sure?"

Harry chuckled and set Dahlia down and took Lucas from her. "Yes, very sure. It's okay. Get it all out."

"MY BABY IS A CHASER!" Katie shrieked with glee, jumping up and down. "Chasers are the best!"

"Hey!" Dahlia shouted, looking wounded and incensed.

"Go on, go celebrate with Angelina and Alicia," Harry grinned. "Oh, and make sure you correct Captain."

"I love you so much," Katie gushed and kissed him on the lips. She ran out of the house. "HEY! OLIVER! I TOLD YOU MINI-CHASER AND NOT MINI-SEEKER!"

Dahlia and Iris stared slack-jawed at Katie running into the combined back gardens, at Angelina and Alicia running out and the three women dancing and cheering and shouting. At Oliver laughing and looking sheepish but pleased.

"Mummy's being rude!" Dahlia shouted.

"No she's not, well not really," Harry laughed. "So when you were growing in Mummy's tummy, Captain called you Mini-Seeker and Mummy took offense because she knew Captain before I met them."

"That's not your fault!"

"No it's not but it's in good fun," Harry said comfortably, bouncing Lucas a little in his arms. "Your Mums were the best Chaser trio Hogwarts ever had and they're super happy that you bunnies are following in their footsteps."

"Chasers are the best! Chasers are the best!" Katie, Alicia, and Angelina chanted as they danced about.

This time, Dahlia did stomp her foot. That ember of shame became a fire of righteous indignation. "They can't make fun of you for that!" She ran up the stairs.

"Oh boy," Harry laughed. "I know what's going to happen now."

"What's going to happen?" Iris asked, latching onto Harry's leg.

He ran his fingers through her hair. "Oh right, the last time this happened, you were still a baby basically. So when your sister and godsisters get a little upset, they do something they call a rebellion. They band together and practice 'civil disobedience' which usually amounts to them barricading themselves somewhere and being inconvenient until negotiations are made."

He pointed and Iris saw two small paper airplanes flying out over the garden, one heading to the Weasley home and the other to the Wood home. "When we moved here, we gave a corner room to the girls so they could see each other. Uncle Percy taught them how to send messages with paper airplanes so they could communicate."

After an incredibly short while, Hailey and Hadley came running out of their homes, glaring at their celebrating mothers and rushed into the Potter home. "Hi Papa Harry! Hi Iris! Hi Lucas!" they said and hugged the three of them.

Dahlia stomped down the stairs. "Can you believe them?!"

"They're being rude to Papa Harry!" Hadley shouted.

"It's okay," Harry grinned.

"It's not okay!" Hailey shouted.

"I don't mind," Harry chuckled.

"We do!" the trio said angrily.

"Rebellion?" Hadley asked.

"Rebellion," Dahlia and Hailey agreed. "Daddy, can we barricade here?" Dahlia asked.

"If you must," Harry mock-sighed.

"I'm supposed to be watching Melanie though," Hadley frowned.

"Me too for Alex and Abby," Hailey said. "Papa Harry, can we bring them over and do you mind watching them while we barricade and be civil disobedient?"

"You all are very good for remembering your little sibs," Harry praised. "Bring them over and I'll watch them as I continue to make dinner. I have to make more for all of us."

"I want to help!" Iris said. "Can I help?"

Dahlia nodded. "You can help us shut the windows and lock the doors. We have to protect Daddy's honor!"

Harry continued to laugh as he watched the girls rush off. "Luke, let me tell you now, never push your sisters too far."

Lucas nodded solemnly as he sucked his thumb, snuggling close to Harry.

In a remarkably short time, the house was barricaded. Abby, Alex, and Melanie were equally eager to help their older siblings and have a bit of fun. They carefully blocked the back door with cushions and a chair, closed all the other doors and windows, and gathered defiantly at the back windows.

"Run the colors!" Dahlia commanded.

-0-

While the women had not noticed the children running back and forth in their revelry, Oliver had noticed when Hadley ran past him the second time with Melanie right behind her. He thought nothing of it at the time. The children frequently went to the three houses with barely any notice beforehand and it was never a problem before. A flicker of motion caught his eye and he snorted when he saw what it was.

"What?" Alicia asked, giving him a look. "Upset at us for carrying on?"

"No, I'm not upset," Oliver chuckled.

"What does that mean?" Angelina asked.

"Just saying others might be a little upset," Oliver grinned.

"Harry encouraged me to come out and celebrate and to rub it into your face," Katie smiled.

"Right, but that doesn't mean they're not upset," Oliver said and pointed.

The three witches turned to face the Potter home and all groaned aloud at the flag fluttering from the window and at their children glaring at them from inside.

"Oh no," Katie groaned. "Oh no I left my wand inside!"

"Looks like they gathered all the children. That's actually really good of them," Oliver mused.

"Yes yes, they're being responsibly irresponsible," Alicia sighed.

"I hate it when they run the colors," Angelina grumbled. "That means they're being really stubborn."

"I wonder where they got that from." Oliver flinched at their glares. "No, I don't wonder actually."

"Hi Rilly," Katie said when Iris walked up to them.

Iris smiled and waved to them before frowning with an intensity that only a child trying to be serious could have. She handed a slip of paper to Katie and scampered back to the home.

"'We are deeply upset at the offense to Daddy/Papa Harry and have decided to rebellion and run the colors'," she read. "'The Potter home is our barricaded territory and will remain as such until apologies are made to our satisfaction'."

"I am going to start inspecting Hermione's lesson plans!" Alicia growled. "This is all her fault! Teaching them about civil disobedience and solicitor legal speak!"

"Harry! Love! You know we were joking, right?!" Katie shouted.

"I do! But it's out of my hands! I'm minding the baby and making dinner!" Harry shouted back happily.

"Can I at least get my wand?" Katie asked.

"You should have thought about having things ready before you left!" Dahlia crowed.

"I knew that was going to come back and bite me on the arse one day," Katie sighed.

"You can't hold us being happy against us!" Angelina said.

"You don't get to make fun of Papa Harry when you're happy!" Hadley sniffed.

"We weren't making fun of him!"

"You were shouting that Chasers are the best!" Hailey cried.

"But that isn't making fun of him!" Alicia waggled her finger. "And you three are Chasers! Surely you agree!" She rolled her eyes as the children shouted back at her. "Making a loud noise is not a proper rebuttal!"

"Oh dear, I see something has happened." Luna approached carrying a small bag. "Did the conversation go awry?"

"What do you mean?" Oliver asked.

"Dally came and asked me for advice and I told her nothing was wrong," Luna frowned.

"Nothing was wrong and nothing's mostly wrong now," Katie sighed. "Do you mind being negotiator?"

"Never. I will go see what is going on," Luna said comfortingly.

"We're sending Auntie Luna in to negotiate!" Katie called out. She shook her head when Luna was allowed to enter the home. "The things our children do."

"At least it's more amusing than what I've heard other kids do," Angelina chuckled.

"It's never boring," Oliver agreed.

"This can't be good," Alicia said when Hedwig came swooping towards them, holding a roll of paper in her beak. She caught the paper when Hedwig dropped it in her hands and the owl waggled her tail feathers at them before flying back home.

"'After hearing of the egregious offense that Harry was subjected to, I cannot remain an impartial negotiator in good faith'?!" Alicia's voice rose as she read and her hands shook the paper. "'I have joined the rebellion and lend my voice and assistance to their righteous cause'!"

She crumpled the note and shook her fist. "Dammit Luna!"

"Vive la desobeissance civile!" Luna shouted back and the children cheered.

"Did you really think she'd turn against Harry?" Oliver asked, shoulders shaking from laughter.

"Let me borrow your mirror," Katie sighed. She took Angelina's mirror since Alicia was shouting at Luna in French with Luna gleefully retorting and the two were shooting colored lights into the air at each other. "Ted Tonks."

After a few moments, Ted appeared in the mirror. "Oh hi there Katie!" He blinked. "Sounds like something serious is going down over there. What's all that noise?"

"The children are rebelling and barricaded themselves in our home," Katie sighed, flushing when Ted roared with laughter. "Our first negotiator joined them so I think we need professional help."

"I'll be over soon," Ted grinned.

"Thanks Uncle Ted," Katie smiled weakly.

"I can't believe we resorted to having an actual solicitor coming for this," Angelina said, shaking her head.

"We all know that Hermione would probably join them too," Katie said, rubbing her face.

"What's stopping Ted from doing that?" Oliver asked.

"He treats it more seriously even though it's hilariously not," Katie smiled. "He really likes doing it. Says it's the best time for him to work. Plus the girls are more willing to negotiate fairly with him."

After only a few minutes, Ted appeared, walking up the path still dressed in his solicitor robes. Andromeda was with him and their smiles could be seen from far away.

"Right then," Ted said, grinning but sounding professional. "What's the situation?"

"Well basically Dally told us she wanted to play Chaser. There's a chance that we got a little too…carried away in celebrating, and they took offense. Barricaded and ran the colors and here we are," Katie explained.

"How did they take offense?" he asked.

"We were chanting 'Chasers were the best'. There's also a chance I made a meal of rubbing Mini-Chaser instead of Mini-Seeker in Oliver's face," Katie admitted.

"How much of a chance?" Ted's smile was ear to ear.

"As high as the chance of the sun sinking into the west," Oliver grinned.

"Well I got my work cut out for me," Ted laughed. He walked to the Potter home and conjured a table and chairs. Soon Dahlia, Hailey, Hadley, and Luna came out and they started talking.

"Where did they get the colors?" Andromeda asked, pointing at the flag.

"Luna of course," Alicia growled. "After their first rebellion, Luna made it for them. Said all proper rebellions needed a proper flag to rally around and to show intent."

Andromeda laughed. "I love it. You know, when Dora graduated from Hogwarts, I was worried that Ted and I would be resigned to a life of tedium and boredom."

"How do you feel now?" Katie smiled.

"Loving every moment," Andromeda said and hugged her fondly. "And deeply relieved. Our lives have been sweet since Sirius returned and Harry came into our lives, with all of you alongside. We are blessed and thankful."

"Do you ever wonder if we let them get away with this sort of thing too much?" Katie asked as they watched Ted negotiate with the bunnies with Luna watching. "Are we being good parents?"

"They have not done anything terrible with their antics to be fair," Alicia mused. "May I ask how you disciplined Tonks?"

Andromeda smiled wryly. "A lot of arguing and rowing when she was younger. If we took something away from her, we had to lock it magically since she could eel her way into other places. Still, I swore to never do what my parents did and I was successful on that at least."

"My mum thwapped us when we were being unruly," Angelina said. "And lots of grounding when we deserved it."

"Grounding was our punishment," Katie reminisced.

"One parent told the other to discipline us and more often than not they forgot," Alicia said shortly. "I always listened to Danielle however when she was strict with me."

"Your children are happy and kind," Andromeda praised the three younger women. "Do not worry, you are doing an excellent job with raising them and I truly mean that."

Ted came walking over with some parchment. "Okay, they have terms."

"Do they now?" Alicia glared at the bunnies who glared back.

"First, they require sincere and wholehearted apologies to Harry. Written ones."

"Cheeky things," Angelina said, shaking her head and smiling.

"Second, they demand pizza."

"Harry's making dinner!" Katie protested.

"They said that they can appreciate both," Ted grinned. "In return, they are willing to clean up the sitting room and do the after-dinner dishes."

"Sounds fair to me," Oliver said.

"Third, they either want to be able to enact revenge on the Quidditch camp instructors via liberal use of Weasley Wheezes or with Alicia or Angelina or Katie verbally assaulting them. They will also accept not having to go back to the camp because they would rather play with you and the Portree team and kids anyways."

"I'm fine with them not going back and I'm more than happy to verbally beat down the one bullying my daughter," Katie said firmly.

"Dibs on going first," Alicia said.

"No, because then there'd be nothing left for me or Angelina," Katie snorted.

"Anything else?" Angelina asked.

"Not if you agree to the terms. Though they did bring up an earlier agreement, something about flying privileges-"

"No!" Alicia put her hands on her hips and glared at the girls. "That goes against the rules! No using current instances to revisit past decisions! That goes against the spirit of the deal."

Ted chuckled richly. "I told them that but they thought to try it regardless. So, do you agree on the terms?"

"I suppose they're fair," Katie sighed with a smile. "I hope they're paying for your services properly."

"I get the first slice of pizza and plenty of granddaughter cuddling," Ted laughed. "I'm being amply compensated for my time."

"Oh if only Peters could see you now," Andromeda laughed.

"I'm saving him a ton of gold, he can afford me without any problems. And I have no desire to cuddle with him," Ted sniffed and the others laughed.

"I'll put an order in for the pizza and you and I can go get it to make sure you get the first slice," Oliver smiled. "And you girls can write your apologies."

"I can't believe you joined them," Angelina smiled when Luna walked up to them.

"You should have," Luna smiled impishly.

"I'm challenging you to a spellball game," Alicia growled at Luna.

"I look forward to it," Luna said brightly.

"Oh I have to be there for that," Katie said. She turned and tried to look sternly at Dahlia when Dahlia walked up and held out her wand. "You didn't really think I was making fun of Daddy, did you?"

"It looked like it," Dahlia said mulishly.

A short while later, tables were set up in the back garden. Large platters of ravioli sat among pots of different sauces and plates of pizza. The chatter and laughter were warm and happy as everyone ate and enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Alicia narrowed an eye at the flapping rebellion flag. "I'm going to get that thing one of these days."

"You're welcome to try. I cast many protective spells on it," Luna said smugly.

"You can try to look a little less pleased with yourself," Katie smiled.

"But I'm very pleased," Harry preened, looking over at the children's table with deep affection. "My honor has been protected today." He snickered when Angelina and Alicia tried to pinch him.

"So, you're really okay that Dally won't be a Seeker?" Oliver teased.

"Of course. I'm glad she wants to fly and play and no wonder she loves being a Chaser. Just like her mums." He grinned at the proud former Gryffindor Chasers. "Seriously, when they get to school, they're going to dominate the Cup for at least 6 years."

He looked over at her with a hint of worry. "I haven't acted a way to make her think otherwise, have I?"

"Not that I have seen," Andromeda said soothingly. "But she is at the age where she cares deeply of your opinion and approval. It seems small to us but to her, it is a very big deal."

"That's good, I just want her to be happy," Harry breathed a sigh of relief.

Katie hugged him. "Don't worry. She is. We all are."

Ghostwriter - Thank you. Being protective and supportive of Harry will always be a theme. Hopefully it'll never be too much or trite.

alix33 - Nothing actually proper probably.

odonnellzoo99 - A lot of mothering doting and affection.
