The following day, when Crystal was discovered, it was good to know the kittens had laid on her to keep her warm through the night, but she needed more than that. Once she was settled comfortably back in the Crystal Palace, a doctor was called to examine her, and all he could tell them was, "Crystal's vitals are normal, but I'm afraid all the mental strain she has gone through has left her unconscious."

"What can we do?" Ami asked, out of her mind with worry.

"There's nothing you can do. She should wake up on her own. But I can't guarantee how long she'll be in this state. So, for now, be here for her. If she doesn't show improvement in a few days, you'll have to put her on intravenous for food and liquids." With nothing else he could do, the doctor left.

Poor Ami and Urawa, even Chibiusa began to fret. As easy as it was to get the other girls alone due to manipulating their interests or work, Christen was not as simple. She spent most of her days surrounded by her teammates or followers. She was alone only when she was performing one of her rituals. As risky as it is to barge in on someone doing a ritual, Alternate Christen did not fancy being made to wait too long. So, Alternate Christen snuck into the Crystal Palace and just walked in on Christen as she already had a stressful time getting past security because there was so much.

"Hey!" Alternate Christen called to get the raven-haired dark beauty's attention.

"Oh, hey. I guess we don't knock anymore?" Christen joked, not caring that her doppelganger showed up.

"Well, this is your room, and I am you, so it's my room too." Alternate Christen's dark eyes flicked around the area.

"That's not how that works." Christen slowly shook her head as she knelt in front of an altar.

"Are you not interested in seeing me?!" Alternate Christen was a bit shocked. Her original was so calm.

"After what happened to Crystal, I figured I'd be next. So, this isn't something I'm not used to." Christen's blunt disregard for her danger was unnerving, even to the enemy.

"If you know the drill, get up. It's time for the interrogation." Alternate Christen clapped her hands.

"Oh, I wasn't aware this is the police station, and I'm under suspicion." Christen smiled as she continued to joke.

"Be serious!" Alternate Christen snapped irritably.

"Lighten up. If you're me, you should know how I roll." Christen grinned.

"Regardless, I have some questions for you." Alternate Christen knew dealing with her original would take some patience. However, that would make breaking her sassy facade so much more rewarding.

"If I feel you need to know, I'll answer." Christen shrugged.

"What are your thoughts on modern romantic relationships?" Alternate Christen asked.

"I guess love exists but is extremely hard to find. Even if you do, there is no guarantee it will last." Christen saw people in love all around her. Yet she'd never been in love herself. Like most girls, she had crushes, but none were serious.

"You resent men, don't you?" Alternate Christen questioned.

"I wouldn't say "resent," I believe they can be dumb when it comes to love." Christen smiled wickedly. Her typical nasty nature started showing.

"Are you old-fashioned?" Alternate Christen inquired.

"Depends," Christen replied with a shrug.

"On?"

"Whatever I feel like!" Christen snapped furiously. Geez, why did she even have to deal with this shit?

"Your mother seems traditional, stoic, serious, and mysterious. I suspected she'd put those traits into you." Alternate Christen clarifed.

"She tried with no success, but we share other things."

"Like?"

"We're fiery, temperamental, and bickering." Christen laughed.

"So, just the bad qualities?"

"If you want to call them that." Christen rolled her eyes as she was getting tired of all this.

"You are annoying. You'd rather pretend to be invincible!" Alternate Christen yelled in exasperation.

"Huh?" Christen didn't quite get what this girl meant.

"You're covering up your uneasiness with your attitude!" Alternate Christen accused. The soldier of fire did not say anything. Instead, however, gave Alternate Christen an exaggerated stare."Don't give me that look!"

"I can give you whatever look I want." Christen hissed.

"Why are you scared of discussing your insecurities?" Alternate Christen grinned.

"Who said I was scared?" Christen tried to act like she was not bothered by this.

"I can see it in your eyes. Once we got into your personality, I knew we'd get to the issue's root." Alternate Christen chuckled.

"There is no issue!" Christen shoved Alternate Mars to the ground hard.

"You can't beat away your fears. No matter what anyone tells you! You still act like a problem child, so your daddy will stay to help mommy dearest "fix" you." Alternate Christen ridiculed the original.

Christen's cedar-colored eyes flashed molten, but a layer of tears was under it! Then, suddenly, Christen realized something, and she took a deep breath to swallow her pride, "I recognize lying to you isn't going to work as you can sense when I do, and you can stand me. I am problematic, but it's not to keep my parents together!

I've been assured more than enough times by undoubted sources. I value my friendships, but my teammates are a warm and fuzzy bunch. I know that's not the way the real world is. I'm not mean. I'm the cold, hard truth, and the truth hurts more often than not!"

"Truth? You don't even know what true power is. I can see I'm not getting through to you! Therefore, let's do something you do understand! FIREBALL!" Alternate Christen was able to summon fire!

Hastily, Christen used her Fireball to negate Alternate Christen's one from hitting her! Unfortunately, they exploded in mid-air when they touched! Flaming Trangles nor Phoneix Strike seemed to fair any better. So, while the two phoenixes battled, Christen transformed into Neo-Sailor Mars!

"You can't play mind games with me, you scrawny, weak, pompous, delusional harpy! I know who and what I am! FLAME BOW AND ARROW!" In her Senshi form, Christen's attacks were much more potent as her energy was increased.

Alternate Christen tried to dodge this ability as well. Except her own was sliced through by Christen's, and she burst into flames and fell as the arrow hit her! As short as this battle had been, Christen didn't think there were any problems with her attitude. She just used it to protect herself; if that did not work, she always had her flames to do the talking. However, now that she knows these counterparts are trying to exploit her and her teammates' weaknesses, she must warn the others!
