Ch57

Percy ran over to where the children of Hecate and Apollo were healing his brother. "Chrysaor!" He yelled as Reyna pulled him back. "How is he?"

Michael Yew looked at him his face tense. "We need to move him to a tent now."

"Do it now!" he ordered. Tears fell down his face as a stretcher was brought. The children of Hecate carefully lifted his brother up in the air with magic and placed him on it before carrying him away. No please I can't lose you. He fell to his knees tears falling down his face.

"Percy I'm sorry," Reyna said softly. "I didn't know Tyson well but I'm sorry."

He let out a sob as he cleaned his face. "Don't worry he will make it through this," Reyna said handing him a tissue.

He nodded and cleaned his face as a bloodied Circe came up to him. "What happened to Caenis?" He asked coldly.

"Sorry to say but she got away," Circe said nearly falling over. "I guess she realized the tide of the battle was turning against her. My magic is still in top condition, she had no protection against it."

Reyna placed a hand on his shoulder. "Why don't you get some rest."

He nodded A part of him was happy that she got away, next time he saw her he would kill her himself and send her to Tartarus for what she did.

His mind was numb to everything as he was treated to his wounds. The remaining campers helped the injured and wounded. After a quick rest he quickly went over the dinning pavilion. He quickly grabbed what food he could and threw it on the flames.

Getting on his knees tears fell down his face as he began to pray. "Father please help me. I can't lose Chrysaor. I already lost one brother please don't make me lose another." He let out a sob as he slowly got up his body shaking as he went over to the tent where Chrysaor was.

He opened it and found Michael Yew and Will Solace leading the charge. His brother's body lady on the table unconscious as the children of Apollo tried to revive him. "How is he?" He asked his voice low as he saw his brother's unresponsive body on the table.

Michael and Will exchanged a nervous look both of them had bloodied hands their brows covered in sweat. "We are doing all we can Percy I swear we'll do our best," Michael said looking at him with a nervous look.

He could see the fear in Michael's eyes along with everyone in the room. Looking at his reflection in the mirror he could understand fear his was cold as ice and looked one step away from blowing up at someone.

Reyna came by and brought a chair for him. "We can only hope for the best," she said softly. "But I pray that they can revive him."

She wrapped her arms around him and he let himself rest on her as his inside began to hollow.

It was then that he felt a familiar presence. The faint smell of the sea hit his nose. He stood up as a figure entered the doorway. "Triton!" he said.

His older brother nodded as the children of Apollo bowed to his brother. "Father allowed me to help him this once," Triton said as he moved out of the way. "We can't use our godly powers to heal him but we have help."

A man in a black robe and long silver hair entered the room. His aura wasn't godly but he imagined he was immortal too. "This Asclepius son of Apollo," Triton said.

"Older brother it is an honor to be in your presence," Michael Yew said as the children of Apollo bowed.

Asclepius nodded and went up to the table and placed the bag he was holding on it. "You lot didn't do a bad job. I'll fix him up, don't worry he'll live."

"Thank you." There was nothing else he could say even if he wanted to. Chrysaor was in the hand of the Fates

Asclepius nodded. "No problem. Chrysaor and I have a history too. He was able to get me a lot of ingredients when none was available through more ethical means. Now then why don't you all give me peace, there are other wounded that need help."

"Yes sir," Michael said as he motioned for his siblings to leave the room.

He remained in the room with Reyna and Triton as the son of Apollo went to work on Chrysaor. "Asclepius here is one of the best healers in the world. Zeus punished him for making a way to cheat death," Triton said folding his arms. "I was ordered to bring him here. Zeus may get upset but with the amount of wounded here the gods won't be too upset."

He nodded and swallowed a lump in his throat. "Triton. Tyson he-"

"I know," Triton said cutting him off. His older brother's brow furrowed his gaze turning dark. "Father was not happy. Is it true that it was Caenis?"

He nodded. "It was."

Triton sighed. "Great more complications."

"Is it true she knew father?" He asked softly.

Triton's brow furrowed. "It is. One of the darkest deeds our father did."

He remained silent, what could he say to that. They watched as the son of Apollo worked for about an hour non stop on Chrysaor. Eventually Asclepius turned to them his brow covered in sweat. "Well he will live."

His widened. "Thank you."

"No problem," Asclepius sighed. "He is unconscious for now. But he'll wake up eventually. Just give him time. Now then I imagine I should help the others, I can't stand injured people not getting the proper treatment."

Triton nodded. "Go ahead." The son of Apollo grabbed his bag and nearly ran out the door.

"Well he sure likes to help people," Reyna said.

Triton nodded. "Anyway rest well Percy. I'll help protect the border, let me know if something comes up."

"Thanks," he muttered rubbing his eyes.

"Come on Percy you should rest," Reyna said grabbing his arm.

"Fine," he muttered as he allowed her to take him to his room.

He rested for two entire days. During that time Chrysaor still hadn't woken up. The battle for Camp Half Blood was a victory, albeit a costly one and now after all the burials they were having a trial.

But now it was time for a trial. He along with the other Cabin heads sat in the amphitheater their chairs arranged in a half circle in front of a podium.

Silena Beauregard stood behind a podium her face looking down solemnly avoiding the looks of everyone, but especially Beckendorf and Clarisse. Her siblings had neutral expressions on their faces though he could tell that they were still shocked at their sister's reactions.

"Silena daughter of Aphrodite you are accused of spying for the Titan Army," Chiron said. "Because of your actions many people have been hurt. Do you have anything to say for yourself?"

Silena took a deep breath, he could see her shake as tears fell down her eyes. "Luke was so kind to me, I-I didn't think anything bad of it at first. But then he blackmailed me into spying for him saying that he would those that I loved. He promised me my loved ones would be safe."

Mr. D snorted. "Foolish girl Kronos is a liar and would've killed you and those that you loved." The wine god's expression was tense, his eyes were dark and basically and dangerous as they had been since his son died.

Chiro nodded his face neutral. "Silena I know you are a good person deep down. You were always helpful that is why I suggest we give you a light punishment and give you the opportunity to atone for your sins."

"She was passing info to the enemy," Mr. D said his voice low. "Who knows my son may be alive if she hadn't been spying."

The air around the auditorium became tense as the faint smell of wine reverberated throughout the area while Silena tensed up. In the stand Dionysus' lone son Pollux glared at the ground. He didn't know him personally but he could understand his anger.

"We all make mistakes," Beckendorf said snapping everyone out of their thoughts. "But lets take this opportunity to rebuild our camp." The son of Hephaestus looked at Silena with a teary expression, but the daughter of Aphrodite did not look at him as tears fell down her face.

"Fine," Mr. D sighed. "Silena daughter of Aphrodite all of your possessions and your cabin shall be searched thoroughly. You are forbidden to leave the camp and will have to do extra cleaning around the camp. You will also be thoroughly interrogated about other matters."

Silena nodded, "I understand." She bowed to him before being escorted to the side by a few guards.

"Good then now I say we should judge our other prisoner," Chiron said. "Bring Nico di Angelo forward."

A group of guards stepped forward bringing forth a cage containing a guinea pig in chains. Circe came up and took the guinea pig out and forced a liquid down its throat. In an instant Nico di Angelo was kneeling before them in his human form.

The son of Hades' injuries were healed and his dark eyes glared at him with fury. For whatever reason Nico glared at him as if he had betrayed him. From the stand Pollux glared at Nico as if he wanted to avenge his brother then and there.

"Nico di Angelo son of Hades," Chiron said as the mood in the auditorium darkened as people shifted in their seats. "You left and betrayed camp to join the Titan Army and invaded taking many innocent lives with you. What do you have to say for yourself?"

Nico chuckled as the gripped the podium. "Is something funny?" Mr. D asked coldly.

The son of Hades laughed harder, "I was brought here against my will. The gods separated me and my sister and turned her against me!" He pointed a finger at Bianca who gripped her seat tightly. "All I did was to get her back, to save her from the cult of the hunters and from the evil Olympians who keep us apart!"

"Nico I chose to be in the hunt!" Bianca said tears falling down her face.

Stupid kid can't accept the facts. It was sad but there was nothing he could do

"THEY TURNED YOU AGAINST ME!" Nico shouted slamming his fists on the podium like a mad man. "I'll get you back and save you from all of them. Kronos will give the strenght to defeat Artemis and the other gods."

"Foolish boy the Titan Army was just using you," Mr. D said tersely. "We may not be the biggest fans of the hunt but you should at least respect your sister's decision."

"Never!" Nico seethed his red with tears. "The gods have never cared for us, that is what Luke has taught and I believe him. The gods ruin the lives of everyone, they separated Bianca from me and turned her against me. They don't love us demigods, they just see us as pawns!"

Uh oh. A shiver went down his spine as he saw Mr. D get up his eyes cold as stone. The smell of wine became stronger as the other campers shifted nervously at Mr. D's cold hard gaze.

"Would you like to repeat what you just said?" Mr. D said coldly. "About us gods not loving our children?"

Oh boy this might not go well. He didn't know Mr. D's children well but it was obvious that they held their father in high regard and the feelings were mutual. Out of the corner of his eye he could see Pollux son of Dionysus being restrained by a few campers his eyes glaring at Nico with hatred

To Nico's credit he didn't seem scared, he stiffened his posture and met Mr. D's gaze. "We are just your pawns, just like how Artemis tricked and manipulated my sister into joining her wretched hunt."

"Stupid boy," Reyna muttered.

In a flash Mr. D was in front of Nico and grabbed him by the throat. "You dare say such things when I have lost my son?" Mr. Dr growled as he picked Nico up. "My beautiful son, who you slew in cold blood because?"

"Mr. D please forgive my brother's words he isn't himself," Bianca begged as she ran up to the god and got on her knees. "Please he is a victim."

"And my son wasn't?" Mr. D asked glaring at Bianca. "Your brother caused a lot of deaths, people died because of him and his army of undead"

"I know but please I beg you to spare him," Bianca begged getting onto her knees.

A part of him wanted to help Bianca but he also was still upset over the deaths Nico caused. Luckily Chiron stepped forward. "Lord Dionysus remember you are forbidden from harming the campers. If you wish to punish Nico you must follow it in accordance with your punishment."

Mr. D nodded and dropped Nico to the ground. "Son of Hades I will personally punish you for insolent words."

Nico didn't even have time to say anything as Mr. D spat in his face and the boy screamed in pain. "I curse you with insanity and impotence," Mr. D said coldly. "Every fruit you taste shall be bitter and every drink made from the vine shall taste of the innocent blood that you shed. Also Circe give it to him."

Mr. D snapped his fingers and Circe came over with a bowl of potion. "Open his mouth," Mr. D ordered as Nico screamed in pain and thrashed around as his guards forcibly opened his mouth. Circe poured the potion into his mouth, Nico di Angelo screamed and thrashed as it was forced down his throat.

Serves you right damn brat. This is for Tyson and all those you killed. He glared at Nico whose eyes made contact with him for a second he saw that small boy from back in Main begging for help. But it soon disappeared as he was turned into a guinea pig.

Circe picked Nico up and plopped him back into the cage he was brought in. "Take him away," Mr. D said. "Keep him under the brightest light we have."

The sons of Ares nodded and took the cage away while Bianca looked down tears falling down her face.

"Well that was something," Malcolm said folding his arms.

"It sure was," he muttered. He didn't feel sorry for him, not after all he did.

"He chose his path. It's sad but hopefully he can change," Malcolm said softly. "It's sad but there is nothing you can do."

"Well then I think this concludes the trials," Chiron. "Let us all continue to prepare for the future."

With that the meeting ended. "Hey Percy I wanted to thank you for helping me," Malcolm said. "I couldn't have done this quest without you."

He smiled at him. "No problem. You did a good job, I hope our parents can calm their anger against each other."

Malcolm smiled at him. "Me too. I look forward to working with you both in the future."

"Me too man," he said as the two high fived. "In the future I will need a good strategist, I hope you can give all the best plans to defeat our enemies."

Malcolm smiled at him. "Me too."

He forced a smile on his face as he went back and found Bianca sitting by the campfire. "Sorry for all that happened to him," he said softly.

Bianca sighed. "It's alright. We both suffered losses," she muttered. "No need to worsen things the way they are."

"I didn't know your brother well but who knows maybe Mr. D will soften his heart sometimes," he said softly looking into the fire. Personally he doubted the god would forget Nico's actions but he just wanted to comfort Bianca.

"It's Kronos's fault," Bianca said coldly. "He manipulated and turned him towards this path while twisting his mind."

He looked up at Bianca her gaze was stone cold with a fiery passion. "He manipulated a lot of people."

"He'll pay one way or another," Bianca said softly. She turned and smiled at him. "Well see you around Percy."

Malcolm took a deep breath as he burnt the offerings in the fire. "Mother thank you for giving me this quest."

There was a flash of light and he fell to his knees as he felt a familiar presence in front of him. "Malcolm look at me," his mother Athena said.

His body shook as tears fell down his face. He looked up at his mother Athena who wore a traditional Greek outfit. "Mother," he said softly.

His mother smiled at him, "You made me proud Malcolm. You performed well on this quest with the son of Poseidon."

"Thank you mother. I hope Percy's dad doesn't hold a grudge against us anymore," he said.

Athena sighed, "I have not heard anything form him yet but I feel that he is slowly forgiving your sister's actions."

He detected the sorrow in her voice, sorrow mixed with disappointment and anger. "Mother I saw her down there, she brought him back." He swallowed the lump down his throat, he imagined Annabeth was a tricky subject to mention around his mother but he needed to get it off of his chest.

His mother's posture stiffened. "Hubris is the fatal flaw of my children, I had high hopes for her."

His body tensed as he could feel electricity flow through the area. Reaching into his pocket he took out his sister's baseball cap and handed it to his mother. "Percy gave it back to me. If you want it back I understand."

Athena looked at the cap and frowned. "I remember how your sister lost it."

"Mother I don't think Percy or his brother would steal it," he said quickly. "I don't know how it ended up in their possession but it did and Percy gave it back to me."

"Keep it," Athena said. "It is yours to keep now. You made me proud Malcolm and I know you will lead your siblings to great heights."

"I won't disappoint you," he said.

His mother nodded, "Be safe son you made me proud."
