Ch64

Chrysaor looked out at the ships in shock. "I didn't expect father to give them all back to me," he muttered as he looked at the array of humanoid sea monsters in front of him.

"My lord these creatures are repulsive," Bucephalus said in his head.

He patted the pegasi's head to calm him down. "Don't worry I'll make sure they don't harm us or any camper. Right now we can't be picky on our allies. How is my brother?"

"My father is assisting the gods against Typhon," Bucephalus said.

"Send him my regards." He took step forward to the monsters in front of him. "Men your orders are clear pillage the enemy and destroy them," he said coldly. "Any hint of treason I'll deal with personally." He drew his sword and sliced it through the air for effect. "Trust me even as a mortal I am still strong."

"Yes sir!" The array of pirates yelled.

"Good. Now go man your stations!" He yelled. "Raid those that dare go near the shores and show them what we can do!"

He ordered his main ship to stay close by but the remaining ships with his crew he ordered to pillage the enemy lines.

Excellent. A smile spread across his face as he watched Percy exit the water. "How did it go?"

Percy sighed. "They agreed to help us and will drown all enemy ships."

"Good. The air and seas are secure now all we have to do is defend the land," he said looking up at the Empire State Building. The sooner they get back the better. He had been up against a lot of bad odds in the past but now he would need all the luck he could get.

"Come on lets check on the others," Percy said as they headed back to their main base camp.

He ordered Bucephalus to scout the area around them and to give them updates. Pegasus if you're out there be safe.

At their main base camp they found Reyna various campers around while Lou Ellen was looking into a crystal ball.

"Reyna how are things so far?" Percy asked.

"The enemy is pressing us on all sides," Reyna said. "But we managing to hold them off but I don't know for how much longer."

"Percy we have a problem," Malcolm said running up to his brother.

"What happened?" Percy asked.

"The minotaur is attacking the Apollo Cabin on Williamsburg Bridge," Malcolm said taking a few deep breaths. "Also there are reports." The son of Athena's face darkened.

"Reports of what?" He asked.

Malcolm swallowed a lump in his throat. "Reports that Kronos and may come from there."

"Great," Percy muttered.

He went over and gripped his brother's shoulder. "Don't worry we can do this. Everyone here is relying on you."

Percy looked at him and smiled thanks. "I'll go ahead and help them do you mind helping out where you can?"

"Of course," he said firmly. "Don't worry I can keep the enemy on their toes."

"Thanks bro," Percy said as the two high fived each other.

"My sister said she and Zoe could use some help," Reyna said. "Do you mind coming with me?"

"Sounds good," he said as he called Bucephalus in his head.

"Great Malcolm you and Lou come with me," Percy said. "We'll meet back here soon ok?"

"I promise," He said with a smile before drawing his sword.

Percy slashed at the hellhounds that charged at him. Riptide glistened with monster blood as he slashed and hacked at them like a mad man. "Malcolm you and Lou stay close to me," he said. Around him, the Apollo Cabin was doing their best to hold off the hoard of monsters.

"Percy look in the distance!" Malcolm said pointing in the distance.

He turned his eyes widened at a familiar monster. The minotaur was fully armored and carrying a battle axe. Long time no see. He gripped Riptide as he remembered the day the minotaur attack him and his mother so long ago.

"Don't worry I got this," he said softly as he pulled out Triton's present from his pocket. He clicked the button and the small rod expanded to a trident the size of a spear.

"Wow cool," Malcolm said as the nearby campers stared in awe at the trident which radiated the power of the ocean, of his father's realm.

Taking a deep breath he felt the water beneath the bridge. Even though it was pretty far away for him it felt as if it was just at the tip of his fingers.

As soon as he heard the minotaur roar he unleashed the water around him and charged. His eyes narrowed on the minotaur who charged at him with a large battle axe. The water came from the sides of the bridge flooding the area around the monsters.

The minotaur yelped as he was knocked down and he took the opening to pounce on it. He thrusted his trident into the monster's neck. A smile spread across his face as the minotaur turned to dust.

Gripping the trident in both hands he looked around the wet bridge and again willed the water to his command as the monsters charged at him.

"For Olympus!" He yelled rallying the forces around him. The water again erupted from beneath the bridge as he charged at the hoard of monsters.

He slashed and hacked at them with his trident while using the water to push them into the water below. His body worked like a machine as he used the water to attack the monster preventing them from overwhelming their lines.

"Percy I think we are going to have company," Malcolm said.

Standing up he felt the Kronos's cold presence approach. "Everyone get into formation!" He gripped his Triton tightly as Lou and Malcolm stood by his side while Michael Yew and his siblings stood around them with their weapons drawn.

Kronos in Luke's body approached them with his scythe in his hand. "Percy Jackson must you continue this foolish enterprise? You are only delaying the inevitable."

Monsters surrounded the Titan Lord while two figures came to his side Annabeth Chase who was avoiding Malcolm's glare and Caenis.

"Yo brat ready for me to kill you?" Caenis asked.

"Not before I kill you!" He spat pointing his trident at her. His blood boiled as he glared into her heartless eyes. Tyson I promise I'll avenge you.

Malcolm gripped his shoulder tightly. "Percy calm down don't let him get to you."

He took a deep breath and nodded. Looking into Krono's gaze he gripped his trident and stood firm. "We won't let you destroy Olympus we will prevail even if it costs us our lives."

Kronos laughed, Caenis joined him while Annabeth looked to the ground her gaunt face betraying no emotion.

"You pitiful children will suffer immensely for your stubbornness." Kronos then turned to Lou Ellen. "Daughter of Hecate why must you fight for those that never treated your mom with respect?"

"Our mother stands by the gods," Lou said firmly. "We will not be deceived by your trickery."

Kronos laughed and shook his head. "Your mother made a mistake betraying me. I'll send your head to her as a symbol of my strength and to teach your remaining siblings a lesson."

He stood in front of Lou protectively. "If you want to get to her you'll have to go through all of us," he said gripping his trident tightly.

"Well prepare to die," Kronos said gripping his scythe. "Kill them all!"

"Everyone charge!" He yelled as the titan army charged at them.

His eyes narrowed in on Caenis who charged at him. Her spear lunged at him but he managed to block it with his trident. He glared at the woman who had a mocking glimmer in her eyes. "How's your little brother?" She asked mockingly.

"You'll pay for his death," he spat as the two exchanged blows. His movements were quick as he blocked her attacks and tried to find an opening. The few blows that landed he didn't feel thanks to the Curse of Achilles.

Around him he heard the screams of the Apollo Cabin as Kronos's army slowly chipped at their forces. Damn it. I can't help them and defeat her at them at the same time. Blocking Caenis' attacks he slowly looked around as the Titan army slowly advanced on their lines.

"Don't worry brat I'll send your head to your father," Caenis yelled as she attempted to stab him.

He quickly blocked the attack and attempted to push her off. "Percy look out!" Malcolm yelled.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw a flash of blonde hair. He quickly jumped back as Malcolm Pace intercepted the attack.

"Oh no you don't you treacherous bitch," Malcolm spat as he slashed Annabeth in the arm before kicking her. Annabeth hit the ground a few feet from them coughing.

"Percy we can't hold them all off we have to retreat," Michael Yew said as he fired a few arrows at the enemy.

Malcolm nodded. "Percy we are going to get overwhelmed."

"Fine I have an idea everyone stay by me," he said as he took a deep breath. He thrusted his trident into the bridge. The ground shook as water broke through the bottom of the bridge. "Fall back!"

He turned around and saw Malcolm and a few members of the Apollo Cabin retreated as the part of the bridge the enemy army was on began to fall into the water.

"Lou!" He yelled his heart racing in his chest as he scanned the area.

"There she is!" Malcolm said pointing to a figure limping towards them.

"Lou!" He quickly ran to the daughter of Hecate who was holding up Michael Yew.

The daughter of Hecate nearly collapsed in his arms as he ran to her. "Oh Gods Lou are you alright?"

Lou nodded before coughing up blood. "I-I managed to save him with a protection spell."

Michael Yew nodded shaking his head as his siblings helped him up. "Thanks Lou. I was about to be a goner."

He looked in the distance, the enemy army was retreating as a gap was in the bridge. "Lets go," he said as he turned to the remainder of the Apollo Cabin. "Everyone help the wounded!"

I was close. I'll defeat her next time. Gripping his trident tightly he went to help escort the wounded to their makeshift hospital run by Asclepius.

"Are you ok?" Lou asked as he sat down on a chair to calm his nerves.

"I'm alright," he said rubbing his hair. "Shouldn't you be getting some rest?"

Lou smiled at him. "I'm alright. Listen I had an idea that could help us."

"I'm all ears for any ideas," He said resting in the chair.

Lou looked at him her gaze calm. "I want to make a mist projection onto the battle field and try and persuade my siblings from fighting."

He scratched his head. "You think it can work?"

Lou nodded determination flaring in her eyes. "I want them all to know that there is another way, but can you promise leniency?"

"I will," he said firmly. "If they surrender and wish to switch sides I'll make sure they aren't hurt." It wouldn't be easy but he would do all he can do live up to the promise.

Taking a deep breath he looked up at the sky. "You and your siblings along with your mother are doing a lot. It won't be easy but I'll do all I can to make sure they get the respect that they deserve."

"We'd all appreciate that," Lou said softly as she sat down next to him. "Our mom is a very proud person I know for a fact she held her anger for years at not having a throne and her children being tossed into the Hermes Cabin without second thought."

He looked down and flinched at the bitterness of her words. "If must have been hell for your and family," he said softly.

Lou Ellen nodded. "It was," her voice was soft and betrayed a hint of bitterness. The daughter took a deep breath and looked up at the Empire State Building. "Hopefully after this our efforts are recognized."

"I'll all I can to make sure they do," he said firmly. "I'll make sure all the minor gods are honored and receive equal treatment. It won't be easy but I'll do all I can."

Lou smiled at him. "Thanks Percy. I'm grateful for all of your help."

He shifted in his seat as his heart fluttered. "D-Don't mention it. You and your siblings are doing a lot already it is only fair you are all recognized for your efforts." Standing up he stretched his body. "Anyway come on lets prepare for your announcement."

Chrysaor's golden blade ripped through the monsters. There are so many of them. His body trembled as he forced himself to move and continue to fight. Monster after monster came at them but he managed to hold his bearings.

"Hunters keep formation," Zoe yelled as the hunters continued to hold off the wave of monsters.

Supporting them were the array of Amazons along with Reyna and Hylla who were fighting back to back against all the monsters.

A large cyclops growled and approached him with a large club. He gripped his sword tightly anticipating and attack when a blast of green energy hit the monster. The cyclops roared in pain as it fell to its knees.

He quickly charged at it with his sword and decapitated it in one blow. The cyclops disintegrated into a million pieces. Turning around he saw Circe fully armored approach him with a smirk.

"Chrysaor don't tell me you are getting rust?" Circe said as she snapped her fingers and blasted some more monsters with Greek Fire incinerating them instantly.

He laughed. "Don't worry I'm not."

Taking a deep breath he examined the battlefield. The enemy ranks were still superior in number while their ranks were still managing to hold on.

"Pirate boy what do you think?" Zoe asked coming up next to him with her bow in hand. "Can we win?"

He took a deep breath. "I've had worse odds but anything is possible in war. We just have to hold out for a while longer."

"I've lost a lot of sisters," Zoe said frowning at the enemy ranks. "Even with the Amazons and you I doubt it could change anything."

"Well if worse comes to worse I could flood the tunnel as a last resort," he rolled his shoulders ignoring the aches in his body. "Any news from Bianca?"

Zoe's face darkened. "None. I hope her father isn't too cross with her."

"Percy trusts she can do it we just have to hope she can do it," he said. Rummaging through his pocked he took out a few old sea shells. "Come on I'll try to create an opening for us."

Zoe looked at him and sighed. "Fine but be careful."

A smile spread across his face. "I will. Reyna I'm going to create an opening."

Reyna nodded. "Be careful."

"Circe come and support me," he said as he gripped the shells in his hand.

"Just like the old days," Circe sighed as she played with Greek Fire in her hands.

Stepping towards the enemy lines he slowly broke the seashells in his hand dropping the remnants onto the ground. He could hear the water form from the shells and his body became strengthened as he walked with the water.

Well lets try something else. Sheathing his sword he took out the small rod and activated it to reveal a large trident. I'm a son of Poseidon. Looking at the monsters he smiled as the water around him continued to grow in mass around him. You'll know the strength of the sea.

Taking a deep breath he removed his glasses and locked eyes with his enemies. Willing the water around him he charged at the enemy. The water roared into a large wave around him as he lunged at the enemy lines trident in hand.

The water pushed the enemy back as he thrusted his trident into any enemy that found him. He slashed and hacked at the enemy immobilizing the ones that were too big to take down in one blow. The enemy ranks quickly became disorganized as the water slammed into them.

"Hunters Advance!" Zoe yelled.

"Amazons move forward!" Hylla yelled just as Circe unleashed a powerful spell against the enemy army enveloping them with fire.

A smile spread across his face as he heard the two groups charge towards the enemy. Willing the water against the enemy lines he slowly pushed back at them with the help of the hunters and Amazons.

He laughed as he charged forward slashing and killing the enemy Trident in hand. Willing the water he pushed the enemy back stabbing and slashing the enemy. I haven't had a good fight like this in a while. He laughed, he hadn't had this much fun in a while.
