(A/N: Netflix Australia has finally released the first 10 episodes of Dragons Rising. So, I'm uploading two chapters today)

The following morning, the villagers were starting to repair the damage done to the village from last night's events with the Ninja helping out.

Meanwhile, in a hut, Gewuji was having her ear tended to by a villager by bandaging the whole thing. "How bad is it?" She asked.

"Well, you're lucky you didn't lose your ear entirely." The villager replied, standing up. "It only split the ear lobe. This will only be temporary until you all get home, but you just need to be careful if you don't want to lose it entirely."

"Then I'll be fine. Thanks." She stands up and head for the door.

Outside, Blake places a log on a nearby rock and swung it down, breaking the log in half. "Okay, just a few more and I'll be done." He said to himself as he held his hand out to a pile of logs, blowing one over with Wind, catches it and places it on the rock before raising the axe and swung it down, breaking the log in half.

As he walked along the village, stopping to let a couple of kids run past, Geoff spots the boy, who had his back to the wall of a hut, frowning as he looked at his hands before approaching him. "It was a good shot." He said to the boy, surprising him.

The boy turned to Geoff before moving his hands away. "What are you talking about?" He asked, hoping to trick him.

"That shot, last night. Saving my sister and Cole from that ice samurai."

"It wasn't me."

"Please. Don't lie. I saw it."

The boy lowers his head. "Then you'll say I'm a freak as well."

"Was that what everyone's been calling you?"

The boy shook his head. "No, just the other kids."

"Then they are jealous."

The boy became confused as he raised his head at him. "Jealous?"

"Jealous that you have Elemental Powers like us. I'm Geoff. What is your name?"

The boy looked up at him. "Forbes."

"Well, Forbes, what was it?"

"I… I don't know." He holds up his left hand as some substance comes out of his gloved hand. "It only happened a few months ago."

Geoff takes a bit of it, looks at it and moves it across his fingers. "Looks like tar."

The boy becomes confused. "Tar?"

"It's a substance made from minerals from certain realms, like mine. But, to purely create it is... rare. Did any of your parents have power?"

"I... I don't know my parents. Sorla raised me since I was a baby, when my parents went out hunting, and never came back. Though, she did tell me my dad wasn't originally from here. He just showed up here, one day before I was born. What would she say if I show her my powers? Would she know the kids were telling the truth? Would I be an outcast? Would I be forced to leave the Great Lake and have to fend for myself?"

"Forbes, that will never happen. Sorla will understand. The other kids will. Everyone in this village will. Maybe even say you're special."

The kids from before soon came over to them. "Uh, Forbes, do you want to play with us?" The girl asked.

"And we're sorry for calling you a freak." The boy said.

Forbes looks at them, unsure before Geoff pats his arm. "See?" He asked. "This is a start. They're starting to understand. Go on."

He nods his head. "Okay." He said before heading for the kids, and they take off as Geoff watched him before looking at the tar substance in his hand.

"Interesting." He muttered to himself. "An Elemental Master, a child, with an element I never heard of." (A/N: The black substance that the boy, Forbes, used is Tar. There is a page that shows how someone like him would have Tar, called Tar Generation on the Superpower wiki)

On the roof of Sorla's hut, Jay and Nya were hammering on some replacement boards before Nya shivered. "Wow, it is cold up here." She said.

"Yeah, my hands are frozen." Jay replied, looking at them while letting go of his hammer. "I can barely feel my-" He tries to grab the hammer, but it slides off the roof, and he ends up falling off as well.

"Jay!" Nya tries to catch him, but was too late as Jay quickly grabbed hold of the edge of the roof while his hammer landed on top of a pile of snow that Cole was shovelling at. He soon lets go and falls into the pile, wrecking it.

"Jay, do you mind?" Cole asked. "I'm trying to work here."

"Jay, are you okay?"

Geoff and Blake quickly ran over to help Jay up while Gewuji came up next to Cole. "Yeah, just great." Jay replied. "But I'm getting a little tired of all this ice and snow."

Nya soon drops down next to them. "Hey, Nya, ice is water, right?" Cole asked. "Why can't you just, you know, use your elemental powers and clear away this snow and ice for us?"

"Because I can't command water when it's frozen." She replied. "It won't move."

"Aw, that's a bummer." Blake said.

"You could have been really useful." Cole said, unintentionally insulting her. She was immediately offended. "Wouldn't that be awesome? If she could just wave her hands and presto, job done." Nya turns to Blake before pointing to a nearby pile of snow. Realising what he wants her to do, Blake holds his hand out to it as the others realise. "That would save us hours and hours of damn slow, boring, back breaking work." Some snow soon rises. "Oh, well. We'll have to do it the damn slow, boring, back breaking way." Blake soon moved his arm forward, hurling the snow at Cole. "Argh! Hey!"

Jay, Geoff and Gewuji laugh over what had happened. "Don't badmouth someone's uselessness." Blake said, explaining why he did it. "Would you like it if I said something that you are useless at?" Cole tries to think of the answer. "Well?"

"Uh, speaking of slow, where's Kai?" Gewuji asked, hoping to change the subject.

"Fire Maker!" Some children yelled as David, another boy and a girl run past them, holding up some on sticks with fish on them, and come up to Kai, who is lying down on a hammock.

"Make the fire, make the fire!" A girl said.

"Mine too." David said.

"Cook mine." Another boy said. "Cook mine."

"Okay, okay, one at a time." Kai replied, holding up a hand to ignite it, and holds the flame out to the fish to cook them. The children then excitedly ran off while Kai blew out the fire. "Hey, where you going? There's more where that came from." The kids pass between the six Ninja. "Fire Maker has more miracles."

"'Fire Maker has more miracles'?" Nya asked.

"Uh, just keeping the kids entertained. Hey, Blake, maybe I should be the baby's godfather."

"Maybe." Blake replied, half-lying and still angered about being blamed for losing the tea by him as he, Jay, Cole, Nya, Geoff and Gewuji came up to him.

"Well, as long as you're not straining yourself." Nya said.

"Oh, no, I feel great." Kai replied. "You know, this place is actually growing on me. It's really not so bad." He then lies back.

"Well, that's good." Jay said, pretending to agree.

"That's what it's all about, isn't it?" Geoff asked, also pretending.

"You bet." Cole replied, also pretending as well.

"Rest and relaxation." Blake said, also pretending as well.

"It is?" Kai asked.

"No, it ****ing isn't!" Nya replied before forcefully pulling the hammock back, sending it spinning and making Kai yell before stomping away with Jay watching her. When the hammock soon stopped spinning, Kai falls off of it, and Cole and Blake laugh at him.

"Hey!"

Nya soon stopped while breathing heavily. "What troubles you, Nya?" Sorla was heard, scaring her, and she looked to see her in front of her.

Nya sighs as she comes up next to her. "Nothing, I..." She replied. "I'm happy for Kai. His powers are coming back and that's... great, I guess, it's just..." She soon sighs again.

"What?"

Nya sighs once more. "My own powers. In this place, they don't work. I can't do anything."

"You are a Water Elemental, are you not?"

"Yes, but the water here is frozen. I can't control ice. They're two different elements."

"They are different, but one. There can be no ice without water."

"It doesn't listen to me."

"Then you must speak more clearly." Sorla then walked away, chuckling.

As she watched her leave, Nya looks down at her hands before looking up at some ice spikes on a nearby roof before holding her left hand out to them. When nothing happened, she immediately held out both hands, and tries to do it again, only to end up with the same result. "Fucking stubborn piece of ice shit!" She kicks the wall in frustration and a bunch of snow falls on her head, causing her to growl. "That's it. I hate ice! And I hate this... This place, and I hate-"

"Nya?" Lloyd called out, cutting her off as she was almost about to kick the wall again, and turns to see him come from the other side. "You okay?"

"I..." She tries to explain before looking away. "It's nothing. I just feel... useless without my powers."

"Hey, you're not useless." Gewuji said, coming up to her.

"Gewuji's right." Lloyd said, dropping down, almost slipping on the ice. "Besides, that's what I wanted to ask you two. I need you two to protect the village with the others." He slowly moves across the ice. "In case those Ice Samurai come back." Nya and Gewuji help him up the edge.

"What about you?" Nya asked.

"I have to go away for a while."

"Going after Zane?"

"I hope you don't think you're going alone." Gewuji said, being a little suspicious. "We're coming with you."

"I've thought about this." Lloyd replied before turning away. "There's only two ways into that castle by force and by stealth. And force won't work. You've seen how powerful the Ice Emperor is."

"One, two, three!" Kai, Jay, Geoff and Blake said from behind Nya and Gewuji as Cole was pushing the hammock with Kai and Jay sitting in it while Geoff and Blake stood on it as they held on one end of the hammock each.

"So we sneak in." Nya said to Lloyd. "Like the crafty Ninja we are." Cole soon forces the hammock back too far, making it come back and spin, sending Jay, Geoff and Blake, who all had lost their grips on it, flying with screams.

Jay had smacked Cole in his jaw, knocking him back onto the ground before landing on top of a leafless tree, Geoff lands in a pile of snow and Blake lands on the roof a nearby hut with his legs hanging over the edge, making the girls turn to them and Kai fell off the hammock as it settles. "Nailed it!" Geoff muffled from inside the snow pile, giving them an okay gesture with his hand.

"Morons." Gewuji muttered.

"One of us has a better chance than eight." Lloyd said. "And the Ice Emperor will be watching you guys, not me. He'll send more of those Blizzard Samurai here. Which is why I need you girls to stay and protect these people."

"So we draw his attention, while you sneak in and find Zane." Nya replied, knowing what the plan is.

"Exactly."

"It's risky...but it could work." Gewuji said.

"It will work." He puts a hand on each of the girls' shoulders. "Trust me."

Several minutes later, Lloyd had a backpack and Prinz' sword as he turned back to face the other Ninja and the villagers. Gewuji comes up to him with the tracking device. "At least take this with you. It's keyed to the mech." Lloyd takes it.

"If you get close enough, it should start beeping." Nya said.

"Okay, thanks." Lloyd replied.

"And you'll need this." Jay said, holding up a fish on a stick.

"What's that?"

"Dried fish." Lloyd reluctantly takes it. "Not as bad as it sounds. Kinda like beef jerky, actually."

"You want me to light it for you?" Kai asked, holding a hand up and ignites it with Fire.

The others turn to him with Nya glaring. "No, thanks." Lloyd replied. "I'll save it for later."

"Oh, good." Kai extinguishes it. "'Cause I'm actually kinda wiped. My powers aren't fully back yet."

"Watch your back out there." Cole said to Lloyd. He looks at them as Jay waves at him before he starts to leave.
