Several Days Earlier
All of the items were on the ceiling as the Land Bounty turned out to be upside down with everyone still in their seats by their seatbelts. "Everyone okay?" Lloyd asked.
They start to groan. "Now I know how my socks feel in the dryer." Jay replied.
"Still dizzy." Cole said.
"I think I swallowed my teeth." Kai said.
"I can feel blood in my brain." Gewuji said.
They all soon unclip their seatbelts to drop down to the ceiling, but when Jay falls, he unintentionally knocks Kai and Gewuji down. Blake soon stood up while picking up the sack. "Looks like we made it to the Never-Realm." He said.
Rumbling soon occurred, shaking the entire vehicle. "What was that?" Nya asked before Blake walked over to the front and looked through the windscreen to see they were over a cliff, causing him to gasp.
"We have to get out of here. Now!"
"Only us, except for you." Geoff replied, making Blake turn around and see that everyone was already out.
"Do you have the Traveler's Tea?" Lloyd asked. "So we can get back home?"
"Uh, yes, right-" Blake cut himself off when he saw the sack was no longer in his hand. "What? I had it in my hand just now." The Land Bounty started to shake.
"Blake, we need that tea to get back, remember? After we find Zane?"
"What a disappointment, Blakeleigh Nolan Borg." Gewuji said, folding her arms.
"You let us down, Blake." Kai said, coming up behind them.
"It must still be in there." Jay said, coming up next to Lloyd.
"Once you've found it, you can be our friend again." Geoff said, coming up next to Gewuji.
The Land Bounty shakes a little as it was about to go over the cliff. "But, it's about to fall." He replied.
"You should have thought about that before you lost the tea." Kai said. "Go!"
Blake turned around to see that the sack was at the front. Slowly, he started to move down to it as the Land Bounty shakes a bit more, making him fall and roll to the front. He quickly stopped himself, picked up the sack, and held it up. "Got it!"
"Then bring it to us." Lloyd said.
The Land Bounty shakes a bit more as Blake got up. "Oh, fuck. Please don't fall, please, please don't fall." He soon got onto his feet and started to run to the door as the Land Bounty soon started to go over, but he manages to get out before jumping, and grabs hold of the edge of the cliff. He looked down to see the Land Bounty fall before looking up to see his friends just looking down at him. "Help me!"
"Blake, give us the tea first."
"Please, my prosthetic won't last."
"Then, give us the tea and we will save your life." Geoff said.
Blake looked to see the straps on the prosthetic starting to snap and looked back up at them. "Goodbye, then." He lets go of the edge and starts falling from the cliff, noticing they had disappointed and remorseless faces instead of surprised and feared ones before screaming as he fell before Jay suddenly had a worried face.
"Blake?" He said. "Blake, wake up!"
It turned out to be a nightmare as Blake immediately sat up from his bed, yelping before hitting his head on something and yelped again, this time in pain. "Shit!" He quietly muttered before rubbing his head with his left hand.
He was currently in a small hut where there were a few bunk beds with Blake on the bottom bunk of one of them and had hit his head underneath the top bunk. His shoulder pad and prosthetic arm were close by. "It's okay, buddy." Jay was close by, holding a toothbrush while Kai was asleep on the top bunk. "You're okay."
Cole and Geoff soon came charging in. Geoff was using a knife to shave the stubble that he had grown during his time in the Never-Realm. "What just happened?" Geoff asked.
"Blake only had a nightmare."
"Yeah." Blake said as he got up. "Of all of you making me go back into the Land Bounty for the Traveler's Tea. It falls off a cliff, I hang onto it by my prosthetic arm, and you all just tell me to give you the tea without even bothering to save me, at all."
"Blake, it was just a nightmare." Cole replied, kneeling down to him.
"Yeah, relax, buddy." Kai said as he peeked his head down to him, having been woken up while Blake was describing his dream. Jay resumes brushing his teeth while Geoff resumes shaving.
Blake scoffs. "You were even worse." He replied. "Saying I let you down." Kai was completely surprised. "I lost the damn tea, and you still blame me?" Blake immediately stood up while grabbing his prosthetic arm. "It was a mistake, okay? Sometimes, things just fucking happen."
"Hey, we understand." Jay said as Blake puts his prosthetic on. "It's okay."
"Yeah, right." He sarcastically spoke while he clips the straps on. "Not what you said in my dream. Whatever happened to 'If one is to blame, all is to blame?'" He tests it a little, and immediately used it to grab his shoulder pad. "It's Aspheera's fault that we're in this situation to find Zane, it's my fault that I lost the tea, and it's your fault for not even bothering to ruction me about it, except for Kai." He puts the shoulder pad on and heads for the door. "I'm gonna go out for a walk." He opens it and turns back to glare at them. "And clear my head of your lies." He soon slams the door shut, knocking over a spear.
Kai soon yawned. "It's too early for this." He said before moving back onto his bed.
"Maybe we should go after him?" Jay asked.
"Best to leave him be." Geoff replied.
"He'll calm down." Kai said, agreeing with him.
"Yeah, give him some alone time." Cole said, also agreeing before Kai soon goes back to sleep while Jay and Geoff resume their duties.
Outside, Blake walks along the village, briefly rubbing his left arm with his prosthetic from being a little cold while passing by Forbes and some giggling kids as they chase each other.
In Sorla's hut, there was a pot full of water over the Hearth Fire as Nya and Sorla look at it. "Ice and water." Sorla said. "They are different, but the same. You must only remember who you are and believe in yourself." Nya nods before looking straight at the pot and holds her hands up. She moves them back before a big ball of Water comes out of the pot. She rises it high before moving her arms out wide, splitting the water ball into two small ones. "Good."
They soon start to freeze up. "But I... I feel it changing." Nya replied. "Freezing. It's becoming more difficult."
"Change is inevitable. It is the nature of all things. Life itself. But still, it remains water." By then, they were halfway frozen. "You must feel the truth of this." Nya grunts a little. "Do not fight it. Embrace the change. You must believe in yourself, Nya."
Soon, the water balls had instantly froze, drop to the floor and break apart. Nya then knelt to the floor, exhausted. "Oh, I can't! It's impossible."
Sorla comes up to her. "It will obey. When your need is greatest, you must only remember who you are." Nya gets back up. "Try again." Nya exhales some air before holding her right arm out to the pot, and another ball of Water comes out. She rises it high before moving her arms out wide, splitting the water ball into two small ones and they start to freeze up.
Nya breathes heavily as she tries to concentrate, and the frozen water balls start to move about. "Nya?" Blake's voice makes her gasp and lose her concentration. He was standing by the door. "I think the others are-" The frozen balls drop to the floor and break apart. Blake then looked on, shocked. "Oh, you were in the middle of... Sorry." He starts to leave. "Another Mr. Blame-It-All-On-Me screw up." The door soon closed.
"Blake, wait." Nya called out as she was about to go after him, but Sorla stops her.
"Come, try again." She said. Nya looks at the door briefly before holding up her hands.
Outside, Blake resumes walking along the village, grumbling to himself at how he screwed up Nya's lesson on top of being blamed only by Kai for losing the Traveler's Tea before noticing a nearby stone, kneels down to pick it up, looks at it while standing back up, heads towards the edge of the frozen lake and immediately threw the stone out towards the distance, screaming in anger as he does so. A few villagers watch on with little fear as he backs away, breathing heavily, until he hears the sound of someone sniffling. He turned to the hut that was behind him to see David, sitting in the snow, crying. Blake slowly came up to David and knelt down to him before tapping his shoulder to get his attention. "Hey there, kiddo, what's wrong?" He asked, having now calmed down from his outburst.
David looks at him while trying to stop crying. "Mr. Ninja." He replied before wiping away his tears. "Nothing." He tries to blow it off. "I'm okay."
"You can call me Blake." He soon sat down next to him. "What's your name?"
David sniffs a little. "David."
Blake smiles in response. "That's a nice name. In my realm, it means 'beloved'." He then became concerned about him. "David, what is the matter? Did something bad happen."
"No, it's just... I'm supposed to play with my friends, but I lost our ball. Now, I'm afraid they'll hate me forever." He lies his back to the hut.
Blake then looked away. "Yeah, I get it."
David soon stood up. "How can you possibly get it?" Blake was surprised by his words. "You're a Ninja." He does a fighting pose. "You're not afraid of anything. Ever."
"Sure I am! I make mistakes, too. Sometimes little ones. Sometimes big ones. One mistake I made, was... completely fatal." He raises his prosthetic arm to show David, who was completely shocked by its appearance. "And it costed me something important. But I learnt from it." He then lowered it. "Listen, how about you find another ball, or try to make one?"
"How?"
Blake soon stood up while thinking. "I don't know." He soon came up with something and kneels down to grab a handful of snow. "Out of snow, or something." He forms it into a ball to show him while standing up.
"That's a great idea!" David then took off before stopping and turned back to Blake to see him pouting a little. "You look like you also have a problem, Mr. Ninja."
"Yeah. I lost something important, too, David. But it's more important than a ball." He throws the snowball out towards the frozen lake. "And not everyone belittles it, as if it wasn't even important at all." He watches the snowball land on the frozen lake and break apart. "I have someone I really care about back where I'm from." He turns back to David. "She's about to become a mom, and we may never get back home. Her child may grow up without its dad."
"Oh, that's not a big deal. Just go to the Traveler's Tree. When travellers are stuck, they're supposed to go to the tree."
Blake immediately became surprised by what David said. "Wait." He comes up to him. "Did you say, 'Traveler's Tree'?" David nods. "Oh, I hope that means what I think it does." He started to look around. "Where is it? Is it here?"
"Not here. Up there." He points to a mountain and Blake turns to it before turning back to him.
"That's a big help. How could I ever thank you, David?"
"It's sort of my thanks to you for giving your blanket to me and my mommy the other night. I really think you would make an excellent daddy."
Blake soon smiled and placed his prosthetic on his shoulder as a compliment. "Go. Talk to your friends. I'll bet they're waiting for you."
David soon takes off, briefly turning back to wave at Blake. "Bye, Mr. Ninja. Good luck." Blake soon waved as David takes off. Smiling as David left, Blake then turned to the mountain with a look of determination and a mission to do.
(A/N: I liked the episode, so much, but since I now had Blake taking Cole's role in losing the tea, I decided to mix it a little)
