Blake was now in a cave, unconscious, until he slowly started to open his eyes before gasping for air and got up. He then looked around the cave to see where he was. "Where...?" He couldn't continue as he looked around before looking down to see a giant footprint in some snow and backed away. "Oh, no." He discovered that he was in Krag's cave before he soon hissed in pain and moved his hand to where he was struck by the tree root to touch it before moving it back to show some sort of substance on the glove. "What is this stuff?" He turned around before noticing his reflection on some ice shards. He looks closer to see that there were deep cuts between his right eye and ear, covered in some sort of berry and moss mixture. "Oh, man. No wonder it hurt." He soon heard a faint roar close by, making him turn to the entrance to see a shadow carrying something approaching. Knowing that it is Krag, Blake tried to look around for a place to hide. Krag soon entered, carrying a giant tree branch with berries on them, only to stop when he noticed the spot where Blake once was is now completely empty, making him become curious. As he tried to look around, Krag failed to notice that Blake was hiding behind some pillars before he came out and charged at him from behind. The moment Krag turned around, Blake jumped into the air and kicks him back into a wall. Krag growled from being ambushed before Blake quickly took off as he ran at him, tree branch raised high. Blake ran as fast as he could, only to end up sliding along some ice before crashing into an ice pillar and fell back. He quickly turned to see Krag charging at him before noticing a stalactite directly above him and held his left hand out to it. Curious at what he was doing, Krag looked up to see the stalactite coming down before it soon landed on top of him and pins him down. Blake got up and smiled at his accomplishment before going up some stairs while Krag whimpered from being trapped under the stalactite.
Upon reaching the top of the stairs, Blake was surprised at what he was seeing. "What? Bunk beds? How many Krags are there?" He looks at them curiously. "Huh. I guess just one." He then looked to the left to see many rocks with blues flowers on them and came up to them. "Burial mounds?" He then looked back at the beds. "He's the last one." Blake soon heard Krag groaning from trying to get out from underneath the stalactite, looks a nearby path from the burial mounds and then at the stairwell. He slowly came toward it while slowly breathing heavily. "This was all wrong. Completely wrong. I can't leave him like this." He quickly heads back down the stairs.
Krag was still trapped under the stalactite as Blake soon came to a complete halt before watching him try to get up, but couldn't because of the stalactite. He then looked at the tree branch before kneeling down to grab a few berries, stands up, and looks at them with curiosity. Krag grumbles a little while pointing at his mouth. "Uh, food? You brought these for me?" He moves his hand to his mouth. "To eat?" Krag nods while grumbling. A little hesitant, Blake picks up a berry before looking at it, and then Krag, who nods. "Well, down the hatch." He tosses the berry into his mouth and was immediately felt kitsch from eating it. "A little bland, but not bad." He soon slowly started to have the rest of the berries in his hand. As he was busy having the berries, Blake secretly puts the last one in his small pouch on the bandolier without Krag noticing. After he finished eating, Blake turned back to Krag. "You didn't always live alone in this cave, did you?" He comes close to kneel down to him. "There were more of your kind?" Krag grumbles while nodding. "Your family?" Krag whines while shaking his head. "What happened to them?" Krag growls as he turned his head to his right of Blake's left and roared a little. Blake then saw right away what he was looking at, noticing a bunch of old and damaged weapons before heading over to pick what was a damaged crossbow up and turned back around to Krag. "Ice Samurai?" Krag growls as his answer. "And now you're all alone, huh?" He soon threw the crossbow aside. "Boy, did I misread things? Guess I am the new Mr. Blame-It-All-On-Me. I thought you were attacking me. But you weren't, were you?" He comes up to him. "You were saving me. The bridge was breaking and you saved me. And then, I attacked you. And you were just defending yourself?" He points to his wound. "Weren't you?" Looking down, briefly sighing, Blake soon held his left arm out to the stalactite, and slowly raised it with his Wind before throwing it aside. Now free, Krag stands up and looks down at Blake. "My master has always taught me that the best way to defeat your enemy is to make them your friend, so..." He soon held his prosthetic hand out towards him. "Friends?" He smiled nervously. Quite quickly, Krag soon grabbed hold of him, making him yell before he held him tightly embraced in his arms, growling very happily. Blake then looked up at him. "Oh, okay. Uh, can't breathe. Back's gonna pop. Put... friend... down..." Krag growls happily while jumping on one foot to the other, shaking the cave and bringing down some snow before soon spinning Blake around. "Oh, oh, boy. Whoa! Getting nauseous... Starting to blackout..." Krag then stopped before putting Blake down, who dizzily moved to a nearby pillar to try and recover, and then looked back up at him. "Okay, listen." He chuckles a little. "Uh, don't do that again, okay? No more squeezing. Or spinning. And listen, this is great and all, but I didn't come all the way up here just to make a new friend." He moves away from the pillar, still slightly dizzy. "I'm looking for a tree. A special tree. Do you know where it is?" Krag grumbles and scratched his head out of confusion. Noticing the branch close by, Blake held his hand out to it to blow it into his hand and held it out to Krag to show him slowly. "The Traveler's Tree. Do you know where it is?" Krag looks at the branch before smiling and runs for the entrance before Blake rushes to try and catch up. "Hey, wait up!" He throws the branch aside. "Where are you going?"
Outside, Krag and Blake leave the cave before Krag soon jumps very high, surprising Blake, and lands far away from him as he tries to catch up. Krag kept bouncing forward as Blake tried to catch up, only for him to realise he had left his new friend far behind, who breathes heavily while running before stopping to try and catch his breath. "I may be the Master of Wind, but I cannot run that fast." Krag soon slides down to Blake before grabbing hold of him, and puts him on his back while skidding to a halt. "Whoa! Okay, okay, just take it... take it easy." Krag then starts to run up the path as Blake tries to hold on. "Whoa! Oh, boy! Oh, gosh. Okay, okay. Just... just slow down, big guy. Okay. Careful, careful." Upon reaching a steep part, Krag soon jumps high and started to climb as Blake soon whooped, apparently enjoying it now, until Krag reaches the top of the mountain. Blake soon sighed out of relief and disappointment as Krag knelt down for him to get off before they start to walk ahead. What laid ahead of them was a completely untouched tree with yellow tea leaves and red berries all over that isn't affected by the snow, shun by sun rays that broke through the clouds. The moment he saw it, Blake was completely awestruck. "The Traveler's Tree." He comes up closer to the tree before jumping to grab onto a branch and swings around to sit on it. Upon sitting down on it, Blake moved to his right to grab three tea leaves and soon dropped down before turning to Krag. "Thank you, Krag." He puts the leaves into his pouch. "Because of you, my friends and I have an actual chance of getting home." Krag growled in compliment before banging his chest.
Back in Krag's cave, Jay, Cole, Nya and Geoff enter it, discreetly looking, hoping not to be spotted. "This is where those creepy footprints led." Jay said before they head in.
They move along the cave before Geoff notices something close by the spot where Blake once was and knelt down to it. "Is that… blood?" He asked as they all came down to it.
"Blake must've injured Krag." Cole replied.
"Or Krag injured Blake." Jay said.
"Well, we won't know just by standing here." Nya replied. "Let's keep searching."
They resume moving along the cave before walking up the staircase. "It's definitely the creature's home." Geoff said. "Look."
They turn to the bunk beds. "That's a really big bed." Jay replied before gasping. "How big do you think Krag is?"
Cole then knelt down to see the giant footprint in the snow pile. "Pretty big." He said.
Out of curiosity, Geoff puts a foot in the footprint before backing away and they start to leave. "I wish the others were here."
"Someone had to stay and protect the village." Nya said. "Besides, Kai is still recovering his powers, and Gewuji's wounds haven't healed yet."
"Yeah, but who's protecting us?" Geoff asked, agreeing with Jay.
Growling was soon heard as they all turn to the entrance to see a shadow about to head in. "We should have brought weapons!" Jay said as the shadow looked like it was carrying someone, causing Nya to gasp.
"We're too late." She said.
"Blake." Cole said before Nya and Geoff guide him and Jay to a nearby pillar where they hide.
What they didn't know was that the shadow was Krag, carrying a tree branch with Blake next to him. "That monster." Jay whispered, thinking he killed their friend.
"He's gonna pay for that." Nya replied.
"On three." Cole said as they soon prepare themselves. "One, two, three!"
The four Ninja come out of their hiding spots before Cole activates his Earth Punch and strikes Krag, sending him, with Blake behind him, flying into a wall. Krag manages to skid to a halt while Blake hit the wall and was instantly covered in snow that falls on top of him, blocking their view. Krag growls at them as Geoff cartwheels before standing on one hand while activating his Sand Sight and fires a ball of Sand. Krag manages to jump out of the way while the sand ball hits the wall and lands on the snow pile while Nya charged to try and kick Krag, who soon grabbed hold of her. "Nya!" Jay yelled before Krag soon threw her at him, knocking them both down and Nya rolling over some rocks.
Jay then quickly got up to fire a bolt of Lightning at Krag, who quickly moved out of the way, and the shot hits the wall, sending more snow on top of Blake just as he had freed himself. Nya comes out from behind the rocks to charge at Krag, who tries to punch Geoff, who jumps back, runs up his arm, and spins backwards to kick him. Blake manages to get out of the snow pile to see Cole slamming the ground, sending some stalactites down, which Krag looked up to see before he is suddenly blown back before they could hit him and everyone poises, until Blake comes out in front of Krag. "No, stop!" He yelled, holding his arms out wide. "Don't hurt him."
Everyone was immediately surprised by his sudden entrance while Cole and Geoff deactivate their special powers. "Blake!" Jay, Cole, Nya and Geoff reply before they run over to him as he did so too, and hugs them just as Krag gets up.
"You're okay!" Geoff said.
"We thought that-" Jay cuts himself off.
"How?" Nya asked.
"Are you alright?" Cole asked.
Krag soon roars before grabbing hold of Blake and drags him into his arms, surprising them all. They prepared to attack, only to end up knocked down by the branch when Krag struck at them and growled. "Friend." He said surprisingly.
They all soon got up. "Did Krag just say 'friend'?" Jay asked as they sat up, very curious.
"That's what I'm trying to tell you guys." Blake replied. "He's not a monster. He's only like what he is, because he's the last of his kind, which were slaughtered by the Ice Samurai." Blake then looked up at Krag. "Krag. Geoff, Nya, Jay, Cole." He points to each Ninja. "My friends." He then turned back to them.
"Blake, what happened to you?" Cole asked, referring to the wound on his face.
"Little misunderstanding. But Krag made me better. He also helped me find the Traveler's Tree. He helped me get this." Blake gets the tea leaves out of his pouch to show them.
They were all completely surprised. "Are those-?" Jay cuts himself off.
"Traveler's Tea leaves?" Nya asked.
"How? Where?"
"That's what I'm telling you." Blake said as he comes forward. "There's a tree, up this cliff." He looks down briefly. "I wouldn't have found it without Krag's help." He looks up at Krag.
They all come forward. "I'm sorry we misjudged you." Nya said.
"We heard some crazy stories, and I guess we let them get the better of us, and-"
"Yeah, I don't think he understands all that." Blake cuts Cole off.
They think for a bit before Geoff stood forward, holding his hand out. "Friend?" He asked. Krag looks at the hand curiously, which causes them all to look at each other, a little concerned before Krag growls happily, grabs all five Ninja and starts to hug them tightly, making them yell.
"Not again!"
Jay hisses in pain. "What's he doing?" He asked.
"I think it's his way of expressing his friendship." Geoff replied.
"I'm about to explode!" Nya said.
"Same here." Cole replied.
Blake then looked at Krag. "Down, Krag, down." He said. "Put us down." Krag soon lets them go, and they all fall to the ground. They all start to breathe heavily to try and get their breaths back. Blake then stood up. "Krag, how would you like to come with us?" He asked. "Down the mountain?" Krag growls in confusion before Blake held his prosthetic up. "Krag, come with Blake. Come stay with friend. Okay?" Krag soon started to growl happily.
"Great, well, that's settled." Nya said.
Outside, a few minutes later, Jay, Cole, Nya, Geoff, Blake and Krag start their journey back to the Great Lake before Krag stopped to turn back to the mountain. Everyone soon stopped and turn to see him before Blake held his arms out to them. "Just give him a sec."
Krag closes his eyes for a bit before opening them, looked up at his former home, then the tree branch, raises it high, and plants it into the snow. Looking at it with sadness, Krag soon does a roar of determination and kneels down. "What's he doing?" Jay asked.
"Saying goodbye." Krag then turned around just as the others start to head down the mountain path before Blake held his hand out to Krag, who takes it, and they start heading down the mountain.
(A/N: I'm sure people already guessed when this episode aired that Cole was using Wu's lesson on the best way to defeat your enemy with Krag. Can't believe he didn't mention it, at all)
