(A/N: Back to Lloyd and Red. Argh! I hate doing fight scenes, but I hardly have anything to do these days, apart from work and some support groups. I should shut myself up)
The mech walks along a giant field of snow while snowing as Red was still in the mech's hand. "And they called themselves the Sons of Garmadon, and they had this creepy symbol that looked like my father." Lloyd said to Red as he controlled the mech. "As soon as I saw it, I knew. Here we go again." Red whines in annoyance while lowering its head and places a paw over it. "I just have the worst luck. There was this girl named Harumi, and I really thought she liked me, even though I was already in a relationship, so we ended it as a result. But I found out she was just pretending. She only wanted to bring my father back from the Departed Realm to destroy us." Thunder was soon heard. "Uh, just my luck." Red then looked up and barked to get Lloyd's attention. He looked up to see grey clouds starting to form. "Those don't look good. What do you say we pick up the pace?" Red barks in approval, but the mech started to move around. "Only problem is... which direction is it in?" Red whines in humiliation, until screeching was heard, making it look up and barked to get Lloyd's attention. He then looked up to see a falcon. "A falcon?" They look at it to see it was circling around before it soon stopped circling and starts flying off somewhere. "I guess... it wants us to follow it." Red soon barked in agreement. "Here we go." The mech soon went off in the falcon's direction.
At the Ice Castle, the falcon screeched as it flies over to the entrance before landing and suddenly glows. It expands into a shape before it stops and the glow fades away. The figure soon stood up, revealing to be Tilika. She then looked ahead at the stairwell to see Prinz, his father and the remaining Blizzard Samurai arriving. In the throne room, a few minutes later, Tilika opens the doors before moving aside for them to move forward until they come to a complete halt. "Hail, Emperor of Ice." The samurai with the axe said as they stood up straight. "The legion of Prinz and Grimfax returns in triumph." They all soon bow down to the Ice Emperor. "Victory is yours." Everyone soon waits for an answer.
Vex soon showed up, applauding in a mocking way. "Hail indeed, brave Grimfax." He said, coming up to him as they all stood up. "Tell us of your great victory, for you left with so many samurai than you brought back."
"It is true, the battle was fierce. The villagers have protectors. Strangers who fight bravely. But we won in the end."
"Did you slay these strangers?"
"I was only able to wound one." Prinz said, marching forward. "But father snuffed out the Fire."
"Without it, they are lost." Grimfax said.
Vex sighs in disbelief while coming up between them. "Snuffed out their Fire, you say?" He asked. "Then why is it, when I look through my crystal, I see it is still burning?" He shows them an image of the villagers of the Great Lake around the Hearth Fire to them, surprising them both.
"What?"
"Im... impossible." Prinz said.
"You two bring news of defeat and dare call it victory?" Vex asked. "Which one of you wishes to take full responsibility for this dereliction?"
Prinz and Grimfax look at each other before Prinz stood forward to face the Ice Emperor. "I will accept whatever punishment must be inflicted upon me, my lord."
The Ice Emperor looks down at Prinz, who lowered his head, ashamed before he breaks free from being bound in ice and stands up. He aims his sceptre at Prinz before firing a beam from it at him. The surviving samurai, Grimfax and Tilika were shocked when they notice ice forming around Prinz, who was completely shocked and hyperventilated. "Wait, please!" Grimfax said, concerned for his son and the Ice Emperor stops with Prinz, half-engulfed in ice.
"Do you wish to be punished instead?" Vex asked.
The Ice Emperor just looked at Prinz before pointing at him. "You will atone for this." He said.
The ice starts to fade away as Prinz then knelt down. "Yes, Ice Emperor." He replied. "Thank you."
"I admire your lack of concern for yourself. I hereby appoint you commander of my Blizzard Samurai."
"Uh, thank you, my emperor." He felt unworthy of being promoted.
"Now, leave me." They soon take off with Tilika following them while Vex watched them and they close the door.
He then turned to the Ice Emperor. "What of the villagers who defy you?" He asked before holding up his crystal. "They plot, even now, to overthrow you. And the stranger in green, he grows closer every day. What of him?"
The Ice Emperor became curious and turned his head. "Green?"
"You are plagued by enemies. They rise. You must show strength. You must put down these usurpers."
The Ice Emperor take a deep breath before exhaling. "I shall unleash Boreal." He raises his sceptre and bangs it on the ground. "Boreal shall punish the village."
"And the stranger?"
"He will meet another fate."
Out in the corridor, Prinz walks along as Tilika came up to him. "Are you okay, Commander?" She asked.
"This is not the first time I faced punishment from him." He replied as they stop to look at each other.
"If we need to overthrow him, we have to do it now."
"We do not have many samurai we could try to convince. And I fear Vex may hear of it."
"Then how about the green stranger? Maybe he can help."
"He could. But, I don't think he would want to be around me. And I do not know how to find him."
"We don't have to. He's on his way here. And, I have been helping him a little."
"How?"
"Like this." Tilika backs away before glowing pink, shapes into the falcon and the glow fades to reveal her form as a falcon.
"Wha-? How? When?"
Tilika then glows again before reverting back to normal. "The day the Ice Emperor arrived. I did not tell you because Vex would have me locked up with the prisoner."
"Then I promise to keep it quiet." Prinz moves towards Tilika, who smiles at him before they move close to lock their lips together.
In the field, Lloyd was still having the mech move in the direction the falcon guided him. "So then, there's this huge stone Colossus, and I'm thinking, 'What am I supposed to do?'" He asked. "There's no Spinjitzu move for this." Red whined in embarrassment before putting a paw over its head again. "And I mean, we all came together and took it down, but, oh boy, it wasn't easy." He then noticed some ice pillars. "Wait." He has the mech kneel down before jumping out and came up to one. "What is that?" He holds his hand out to one. "This doesn't look like normal ice." He was about to touch it when Red barks at him. "Yeah, maybe not a good idea." He then looked ahead. "Wow, there's more of it. It's everywhere." He then looked up at the clouds. "We better keep moving." He climbs back into the mech, closes the hatch, makes it rise up, and resumes moving. "We're gonna have to find shelter if this thing gets any worse." As the mech moved along, a black lightning bolt suddenly struck in front of them, and a trail of ice pillars start coming toward the mech. "Ice is definitely not supposed to do that." It moves past the mech before something rises from it. It looked like a bunch of rocks which were starting to form together to make some sort of golem. Red turns its head around to it and growled as the golem turned to the mech. "Do you hear that?" Lloyd makes the mech turn around as the golem prepared to make a punch, but missed when the mech moves back and hits the icy ground. Lloyd has the mech move its left hand toward Red to jump onto and climb onto the top before getting out the mech's sword, and held it out to the golem. The golem turns around with its arm turning back to strike the mech, knocking it back. The mech skids to a halt before Red soon jumped off and ran off as the mech charges at the golem, who charged as well. The mech swings its sword to the side and struck the golem while passing by, making the left arm come apart and fall before the mech turned around to see the golem retract the arm back, making Lloyd gasp. "Oh, no." The golem soon charged at the mech and grabbed hold of it as the mech tried to strike back before the golem pushes it, and itself, over a snowy cliff. Lloyd screamed as the mech fell with the golem still after it.
Several minutes later, the mech and the golem were at the bottom of the cliff with the golem completely apart as Red ran down a hill to reach the mech. It reaches the mech before coming on top of it, sees Lloyd inside, unconscious, and barks to make him wake up. The golem then started to reform itself and gets up as Red turns to it before it kept barking to make Lloyd wake up, who soon does so, gasping as he did so. He soon had the mech raise its left leg to kick the golem back before getting up and tried to strike, only for the golem to grab hold of its hand and ice started to form on it before trying to force it back. An alarm went off as Lloyd looked at the console to see the mech's right arm flashing. "Come on. Come on!" He manages to pull it out just as Red runs along the left arm, gets on the golem and moves behind it, making it turn to it, and giving Lloyd the opportunity to punch it. He then tried to strike it, only for the golem to slap the hand, sending the sword landing in the snow, and tries to punch the mech, but it quickly caught the fist. As they struggle, Red started to bark at the golem before it soon kicked it aside, causing it to yelp and roll across the snow before stopping. The golem soon pushes the mech away and started to head towards Red. "Hey! Get away from him!" He moves the mech forward. "Pick on someone your own size!" The golem soon turned around to the mech, making Lloyd shocked. "Actually, you're bigger, but you know what I mean." The mech raised its shield arm to activate the rotating blade as the golem came towards it, and strikes it while passing by with the right leg coming apart. The mech turns around to see the golem hop on its left leg as the right leg retracted, and turns around to face it. "How many times do I have to beat you before you start to feel it?" Lloyd soon had the mech charge at the golem, who raises its left arm to try and strike it, but the mech grabs hold of it, and the ice underneath it cracks. Lloyd sighs when he sees the cracking ice before smirking. He has the mech force the golem's arm back before kicking it, making it skid back. The mech soon strikes at the ice with its shield while moving back. The golem doesn't pay attention to it as it started to approach the mech, but steps on the cracked ice, which started to break apart, and Lloyd nervously looked on before noticing a nearby rock, picks it up and throws it at the golem, who catches it. The golem becomes confused as Lloyd soon smirked as the ice soon breaks apart and sends the golem falling into the frozen lake. Lloyd looked down at the hole in the lake before sighing out of relief, only for the golem's arm to come out, making him gasp, but the arm soon started to sink back into the water. With his opponent now gone, Lloyd turned the mech to see Red, unconscious. "Red!" He opens the hatch before somersaulting out of the mech to reach Red. "Red? Red, are you okay, boy?" He kneels down to it before placing a hand on it and soon sighed. "You're alive. Just hang on, buddy. I'll get you warm." He heads back into the mech and moves it close to Red before crouching down to move its arms around it. Lloyd then came out with the heat lamp and the first aid kit before putting the lamp down in front of Red and came up to it with a bandage. "Now you just rest." He started to wrap the bandage around Red's right leg. "We're gonna be okay. We're gonna be just fine. I'll take care of you." Once he had finished patching it up, Red whimpers a little from the pain before Lloyd soon laid down beside it and closed his eyes.
