Narrator pow:
"Vilem? I didn't expected you here today two weeks before Sport Festival." Fully bandaged on the head Aizawa spoke up, as he saw his studentns walk into the class with Vilem at the end of the group.
"Well, I allow a slight misconception about my heavly delayed traver to slip." Half-Slovak responded, heading to his sit at the dead end of the class. "So let me correct it: The day Sport Festival starts, I take a flight to Slovakia in order to make the paperwork, procedures and other necessities that Senior Hero License would require." He began explaining as other began to join them before the class. "I return to Japan a day or two after the festival ends and return to classes like everyone else up to the beginning of our internships, which I'll spend in Slovakia."
"Fair enough, you seem to make use of the free days to your fullest." Aizawa nodded patiently. "Just don't try that tricks outside of such periods."
"Duly noted." Vilem smiled, taking his seat.
"Sport Festival? What is that?" Mina asked, as she entered the classroom last from her class.
Take a ait, then I'll explain." Teacher responded, to which she complied very fast." Perfect. Now, The Sport Festival is our annual even held for students to show off their skills to Professional Heroes and other individuals or groups to take them for intwenships and eventual further recruitment."
"Isn't it too soon after the last attack to hold such an event?" Momo asked, rising her hand from the seat.
"Apparently, the public will interpretate it as UA's capability to handle crisis management and showcase of improved security after the last attack." Aizawa responded with calm and patience. "On top of that, such an event is a opportunity for all of you from previously mentioned reasons." He paused, looking into the distance at Vilem. "As long as you want to take it that is."
"Now that we are at it." Vilem added. "Ask me about it during the class break, of you want to know so badly. Not during a class."
"... Just why Vilem?" Izuku asked, as his trio with Uraraka and Iida sat at the lunchtime with him, Hagakure and Ojiro.
"After the villain attack I had some... Side effects." Half-Slovak responded, moving away from the ketchup bottle. "And I ultimately decided that going back home to rethink my life choices and what to do next is a best option for me."
"Isn't there also a stress in here?" Toru asked him. "I'm already nervous about the festival!"
"Heheh, would lie if I denied." Vilem sighed with a short chuckle. "Given how hard it is for me to hold my emotions, calming down somewhere more familiar is just safer for me."
"Very reasonable." Iida commented. "We need to know our limits of we are to become Pro Heroes one day."
"Can't disagree." Ojiro nodded, drinking his water. "Sometimes we have to do our best."
"So let's do our best at the Sports Festival!" Uraraka proclaimed, hitting a very upbeat tone.
"Whoa, kid, chill..." Vilem brought her down with a downward push on the shoulder. "Izuku is scared." He added, pointing at the pale boy who looked as if he was frozen in fear.
"Oops, my bad!"
"Oh, now what?" Vilem asked himself, seeing how the exit from the classroom was blocked at the end of the day "Crowds, I should have known already." He comtinued his thinking as he quickly write something an a stripe of paper, got his stuff packed and stormed past Bakugo.
"What the hell?! Watch where you going!" Blonde boy shouted at him! "These giys are here to scout on competition."
"Then shut your trap and let me handle this." Vilem told him off, walking forward to the gathering. "What's up everyone! Here to see first-years who beat down villains?" He asked, while passing backwards a small note to Izuku who stood behind him.
"Go throu the window or something, I'll need some time to talk them over." Midoriya read as Ochako and Iida looked from behind his shoulders.
"Well, well, well! Who do we got there!" One of the gathered students with rich silver hair spoke up, walking in front of the gathering with help of his well-developed muscles. "The students that survived a villain attack!"
"Heck yes!" Vilem laughed, moving forward and reaching with his hand forward. "By the way, wanna met a new pal?"
"Sure thing!" Silver-haired student exclaimed, shaling his hand. "Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, Class 1-B."
"Gald to met ya." Vilem nodded. "I am Vilem Hantei, Class 1-A."
"I already know that." 4xTetsu responded with slightly annoyed face.
"You presented yourself with assigned class, and do do I." Half-Slovak responded. "I am equal with ya', same goes for all back in there." He added, looking past him into the corridoor.
"Wait, I recognize that- You're the guy who dunked on that black monster?!" Tetsutetsu exclaimed, his face showing a mix of suprise and impression.
"Footage doesn't lie, gotta protect my peers... My class." Vilem smiled, looking behind him at his class. "Most of us feel the same way, right guys?"
"Yeah!" A collective response came, with few obvious exceptions.
"See?" Vilem asked, turning back to the front. "Anyways, can we pass now? They still need to come back home."
"They? And you?" Silver haired boy asked him, rising his eyebrow.
"I can say with you all for as long as needed." Vilem smiled, walking past him into the corridoor. "Who wants to talk to a dude who blow up All Might-buster?" He asked, leading forward with partially forced pride as the gathering moved after him, letting the 1-A walk out of the classroom.
"Weird that he allows them to spy on so hard." Bakugo shaked his head, walking out of the room first.
"Just because they arrived doesn't mean they have evil intentions!" Iida exclaimed, chopping the air with his arms.
"Whatever, you should thank him given that he doesn't participate..." Kyoka added, only to see that Bakugo already left and followed to the left judging by the footstep sounds. "But why you bother to follow them yourself?"
"Wait, you won't participate?!" 4xTetsu gasped, as the crowd around Vilem followed to the frontal outsides of the school.
"Why should I?" Vilem asked with carefree attitude. "All I would get is proving my skill on top of rigging entire tournament into my favor. Sport Festival is meant for students to show their skill to the Pros, not to confirm what is already known!"
"I can't follow that logic, but thank you nothenless!" Tetsutetsu responded, slapping him on the back.
"Oof!" Vilem gasped. "Don't hit me there, I got smashed here twice in the USJ attack!"
"Oh, sorry..." Silver haired boy apologised, before looking forward after a sinister humming.
"So strong when it comes to punching, yet so fragile when recieving one?" A very smug tone asked as Vilem rised his head up to look at the well-cared boy with slick blonde hair.
"No one is perfect." Vilem responded, holding Tetsutetsu's hand from stopping him. "No worries pal, he ain't bad per se." He added, taking two steps forward. "Mind if I ask who you are?"
"Neito Monoma, proud member of Class 1-B." Boy responded as Vilem reached his hand forward. "You are another of the self-gloating 1-A guys? Don't you?" He asked, backing away from his hand.
"One tiny error on your part here." Vilem added, waving his index finger sideways in the air. "Gloating isn't present in my class. In fact, the closest we have to it is obsession on winning for few individuals."
"Oh really?" Monoma asked him. "Why should I believe you?"
"None of us asked for villains to attack for us to gain fame or recognition within UA." Vilem responded, slightly narrowing his eyes for a serious glare. "I mean, only way your can make your narration make sense is either have your class be attacked by villains in a middle of exercise or actually believe anyone from my class took a contact with real villains to put up a show." He said, making by now famous furious black eyes at the end. "And I don't need to tell all of you why this is plain out bullshit." He ended, looking aside to see the crowd's reaction.
"Now, Monoma? Why you..." A ginger girl of uncommon beauty sighed, walking from behind Vilem to stop the two.
"Hey, Kendo, hold it." Tetsutetsu stopped her, blocking the way with his arm. "This guy has it covered better than your arm chop, which doesn't come to my mind lightly."
"Now, I am not here to make you look like a moron. So allow me to cut down to the chase." Vilem resumed, looking straight at frustrated Monoma. "Why are you going so hard on my class?"
"Huh?" He gasped, almost taking step back.
"I mean, just because we happen to be under a villain attack should not be a reason to start the hate on us." Vilem explained, making an unsatisfied face. "Now granted, some of us are insifferable, and I agree with that. But when two people throw shit at eachother, then who is the clean one? And why nobody from the mentioned two?"
"... Right, I got jealous of your fame. Sorry." Monoma sighed, nodding sadly.
"It's fine. I'm Vilem Hantei in case you were curious."
"Vilem? Weird name." Monoma commented, reaching his hand forward for a handshake.
"I'm Half-Slovak, and the Japanese half stayed in the username and blood." Vilem shrugged his arms as he noticed Monoma's very wide and shrinked eyes. "Something wrong, pal?"
"Why can't I copy your Quirk?" Monoma asked him, as the gathering looked at him in suprise.
"Well, as you all know, Quirks are genetical traits." Vilem spoke up in response to explain his case. "However, mine seems to be a spiritual one affecting the soul, not the body."
"A what?!" Ginger girl from behind Tetsutetsu exclaimed.
"Weird, I know." Vilem sighed. "The stuff I did at the USJ? All from the soul's power, soul that is affected by my Quirk." He continued, looking back at Monoma. "So, given my assumption that your Quirk is about copying other's Quirks, you can't copy my sould Quirk because your very own is genetical, not... Spiritual, given the lack of a better term."
"... That sounds like a main character for me." Monoma commented after a while of silence.
"Meh, all the attention given to me includes other's aiming at me." Vilem shrugged him off. "In fact, I'd argue that having a spotlight is a risk for both myself and people around me, especially since those who stay against me will try all they can to take me down. It ain't so black and white as some of you may think." He continues, aiming the latter part to general audience around them.
"... Well, he has a point tho." One of the students commemted from the back rows.
"And I understand the need to catch up on us. That's completley fair and square for me." Vilem continued. "But please, for a love of All Might, don't fuel yourself by hatred towards fellow future Heroes. Self-improvement is just as good, and definitely less destructive."
"Do you really think he'll even listen?" Bakugo asked him, storming into the crowd to face the two main discussion makers. "Be serious, Slovak!"
"Hate to have it so soon without thinking it over, but it's a moment of truth Monoma." Kendo added, as everyone's eyes fell on the blonde boy from 1-B.
"I think... We can." Monoma decided after a short while of thinking. "But as soon as..."
"... As anyone goes overboard we strike back." Vilem ended, sighing sadly. "Just use individual responsibility instead of collective one. We are civilized society."
"Sure thing." 4xTetsu added, making a strong-willed smile. "We'll make sure it stays as such!"
"Sweet, thanks pal." Vilem nodded, walking away towards the exit. "Have good time preparing everyone." He added, casually passing by Bakugo who didn't even tried to stop or tackle him to the side. "I still gotta do my stuff back at home."
"Oh, what's that?" Vilem asked himself, looking down at his phone as he finished preparing the biggest travel-sized backpack available at the market. "Oh right, a call." He corrected himself as he answered it and moved the device to his ear.
"Vilem! How are you doing?" Joyous male tone greeted him from the other side.
"Blank Rider? Sup bro!"
"It's Blind Redder, but whatever." The man responded with evident chill in his tone. "So, I heard going to make the apply?"
"Yes. Papers are in check, flights scheduled, mind cleared and ready." Vilem responded, looking down at his stuff. "I fly second time out in two weeks, still have some classes before the Sport Festival, but I just needed to check how can I handle it."
"Then good that we have a friday today." Blind Redder responded with satisfaction. "Your first round of flights is today?"
"Yup, and I already had safety margin reduced." Vilem added, gra bing his stuff and heading towards the apartment's doors. "Also, tell Wrapper to do the thing."
"Only for a spoonful of ice cream."
"Good enough, see ya' in some time." Vilem nodded, ending the call. "Bruh, that's gonna cost me a bit." He thought, looking back at his Japanese bank account with ten thousand Yen storaged in it. "At least I can afford it when the time comes. Gotta catch the ATM on the way to the airport!"
