Frankie Pov:

"When being made with several body parts it takes a while to learn which part comes from, much like everyone else having a background of their own. It's also helpful having three friends with both unique backgrounds that have so much history and would be able to tell me. However, I'm trying to figure it out myself since there are all sorts of history between each one, like my feet belonging to a ballerina and facial expressions from a monster model. They all have an incredible story that anyone can look up, I hope I could have my story others can read about."

Monster High-Dorm Room

The day was going as any other with the four roommates minding their own business due to the assignments they were given by the art teacher which involved an artistic representation of who the four were. Draculaura worked on a portrait of herself, Junior on his guitar thinking about what he could sing and Clawdeen was working on a poem that was based on her name. Meanwhile for Frankie, they were already finished with their project involving piecing together each brain part that was in their head.

"How are your projects going?"

Asking the others since Frankie had managed to finish in an instant due to their expertise in knowing what made them. The others didn't exactly have that much luck since Draculaura tried to focus on matching her look and details since she couldn't look at her reflection. While Clawdeen didn't know much about poetry and Junior growled to himself about not knowing what to play.

"Compared to you we're hitting our tails. Wait do bats have tails when vampires change into their bat forms?"

Junior both responded and asked about Draculaura's bat form which resulted in her hissing at the lizard since his tail was the size of a baseball bat. Clawdeen decided to take a break from her work to look at Frankie's for inspiration, she got curious about which part of the brain lobes that were within her roommate's head.

"Speaking of the question, how do you know what piece that's attached to you? I mean your you and we all enjoy you but didn't it take a while to figure out which piece came together to make you?"

The wolf girl did her best to make her sentence understandable since Clawdeen hadn't met anyone like Frankie, especially now that they know themselves unlike her. Frankie offered her a comforting smile as they walked over to their bed to present a wooden box filled with numerous papers and blueprints of Frankie's creation.

"Before my parents sent me to Monster High they packed my blueprints of how I was designed. Just in case I fall apart, but I think they underestimate how good I am at keeping myself together."

Frankie telling Clawdeen how they were a patched up ghoul that wouldn't fall to pieces, that was until their finger flew right off the hand and landed right onto Junior's guitar and flew right to Draculaura's paint. Holding in a laughter Junior walked over to grab the finger and clean it as he handed the finger back to Frankie.

"If that's the case I suggest staples."

Offering his idea of how Frankie could handle keeping their body parts together. The three shared a smile at the joke as Draculaura decided to take a break from her canvas of herself and wanted to take a look at the many papers that help make Frankie. Each one had either a body part dated back several years before Monster High was even made, along with how their brain was built out of the most well known figures in history.

"Speaking of Monster High, there seems to be a piece from the school that's in your brain. Doctor Blunder, they were apparently like your parents Frankie, but had to take a leave of absence due to being cursed'."

She was reading off the paper about which piece of brain Frankie had, though hearing the last part brought up a rather frightening expression upon their face about being cursed. It somehow sparked a memory about the doctor and them working in a laboratory in the school, the others saw the vacant look on Frankie's face as Junior waved a hand in front of them to see if he couldn't snap them out of the trance.

"Frankie? You alright in there?"

Clawdeen asked her friend as she clapped her hands together making Frankie snap back into the moment setting off a spark that shocked Junior. The lizard yelped at the electricity as Draculaura decided to take another look at what the paper said about the doctor.

"They were working on a project for the school, however because of the curse they couldn't continue. It involves constantly making mistakes, I don't think that sounds bad. Now having no reflection, that's a real curse."

The vampire gave her friend some comfort that they didn't have much of a curse but possibly a quirk that could be mastered unlike her having a reflection. While Frankie was bothered by the curse Draculaura brought up, the four heard the bell ring as it was time to attend class. Quickly grabbing their things and bags the group made their way out of the room trying to make it on time to class.

"Curses all the side, I don't believe them. Such as me growing up alone to handle Kaiju's picking fights with me and interrupting my sessions on the stage. If I had a curse, I'd just ignore it."

Junior offers Frankie advice since if they let the idea of a curse float over their head it would eventually take over and mess with the day. Just as they were walking down the hallway they noticed two familiar faces which were Deuce and Mira who wanted to greet them. The gorgon had finished a small snack he had and was about to throw it out.

"Garbage goblin on your left."

Frankie suggested to him if he wanted to throw his garbage away, though the garbage can was on his right he saw the garbage in Deuce's hand. Latching a tongue right at his arm it swallowed him whole which had the others panicked. The others rushed at the sight to try and get Gorgon out while Frankie was confused by this mistake in direction.

"On the right? I was sure that I was pointing in the right direction."

Confused by their mistake as Frankie looked at their fingers seeing how her hands were on the opposite wrists. Looking at the sight, Junior was able to kick the can causing the garbage goblin to spit out Deuce as well an assortment of trash onto them. Running away from the lizard was going to chase it down until he slipped on a peel.

"This doesn't prove anything. Curses! Don't exist."

The lizard responds to Frankie and the group about how it was by accident that Frankie didn't know where the goblin was located. While it was comforting for Frankie to know Junior didn't believe in whatever was plaguing them, Mira shook her head towards the king's judgment.

"Not to be rude Junior but curses do exist. Such as Medusa being cursed by the goddess Athena to numerous other tales that both teachers and students share, however they were resolved quickly since they knew where it came from."

Mira explains that certain curses could be undone if they knew the source of what caused it or mastered if the victim properly understood what the curse was. Hearing the suggestion and cleaning themselves up they decide to head to class where they arrived right on time and got to their seats. Meanwhile, Frankie was stressing over the curse topic that seem to be all that they could think of.

"Evening class, I hope you've kept up to fire breathing methods on how to either cure one for friends or relatives."

Hearing the teacher coming in and began to write down on the board their last session which involved numerous Kaiju and monster individuals that had issues with fire breathing. Everyone began to check out the notes they had written during their last class. Frankie was about to look threw their research when another jolt of electricity rushed threw their mind getting a glimpse of what looked like a memory. Feeling like they lived doctor Blunder and seeing their perspective, smoke and items were crashing all around them.

"I am cursed to make mistakes!"

Hearing the voice ringing threw Frankie's ears and tried to snap out of it. However, upon shaking their head Frankie accidentally popped off their left ear that landed on Titan's snout who was sleeping during the lesson. It caused the aquatic Kaiju to sneeze loudly and water flew out of his mouth which snuffed out Heath's fire since the finned Kaiju was behind him.

"Hey! What's the big idea fin face?"

Heath asked Titan as his clothes and stuff were now soaked, before Frankie could respond the teacher noticed the skirmish happening and asked the two boys to wait outside. This left Frankie saddened that they got two friends in trouble for their mistake, Clawdeen noticed the ear by Titan's table and handed it to them seeing how the curse might be real.

"Maybe it is a good idea to not move too much. Worth trying."

Whispering that it could be a solution to helping out Frankie's situation since this curse may be real and could affect others. Taking her suggestion to hear they decide to keep to themselves so that no one else would be involved with their curse.

Later in the library

After the next several hours hanging out with Frankie, their friends had to deal with numerous 'mistakes' that lead to all manners of incidents such as shelves almost falling on them. Food is splattered on the monster and Kaiju's clothing and Cleo has her bandages ruined, which could ruin a chance for Frankie to be on the fear leading team. Right at the tables were Junior, Clawdeen and Draculaura who were looking over the numerous injuries they had endured during their time around Frankie.

"So. Want to remind us again that 'curses' don't exist?"

Draculaura asked Junior as she was right now looking at her clothes that got stained by several substances during lunch after Frankie slipped on a spill which caused a food fight to commence. The lizard merely snorts his nose while noticing a burger by the side as it seems he was fortunate to get one during the food fight.

"Then maybe help out with curing our reanimated friend? There's got to be a spell to help Frankie. Otherwise, we're going to be in the nurse's office for the rest of the day."

Questioning that if there was a way to resolve Frankie's curse it could be cured by magic. Which earned him a glare since it seemed she knew that Frankie's curse couldn't be solved with magic since it was science based. Clawdeen merely sighs at how it seemed there was no solution for their friend's situation. Just as the trio was going to talk about whether they could stay close to Frankie without getting hurt, the doors opened wide which showed none other than Frankie who seemed excited as well holding both papers and a small bottle.

"I've found the answer!"

Shouting in an excited tone as it seemed after keeping their distance from the others found a solution. Rushing over Frankie showed them the bottle that was used during Blunder's work and papers of where the doctor had worked during their time in Monster High.

"After reviewing the previous faculty here in the school from the old yearbooks. I found that Blunder had a laboratory within the catacombs and used the potion on the project that caused the curse to happen. Meaning that I can reverse the curse if we find the project."

Explaining that during the process of getting cursed by the potion it was also used to finish up on the project Blunder had finished. Presented a map to them about where they could find the laboratory, it had numerous tunnels as well hallways that seemed to be well guarded so no one would try to enter the lab.

"Not trying to sound like a killjoy but this type of exploration can take a whole day. How would we know where to start? We just started to learn about exploring the catacombs."

Clawdeen asked Frankie since the last time they were there it was one small piece that was connected to a labyrinth. Feeling a bit saddened that it was true since they learned about the catacombs, Junior took a moment to think about it as he looked upwards at the ceiling having an obscure idea on how to help out Frankie.

"Maybe it is possible to ask the school. I mean, the school is alive. Right?"

Junior suggested that if they couldn't figure out where they should start their exploration then he could ask the school. While it was still strange knowing that the school was a sentient being, using it to help them out was asking too much.

"I don't think that be a good idea. Wouldn't it get Bloodgood's attention since we promised not to let anyone else know the school's alive?"

Clawdeen mentions how they made a promise to not tell anyone and not let anyone see the school act up. Before Junior could ask his request of helping Frankie out in finding Blunder's lab, a book from the shelf fell right onto his head which made Junior upset. The ghouls took a moment to see if that was a sign from the school that it was trying to help them in the subtlest of ways. Draculaura grabbed the book she took a moment to look at the title.

"How to watch your steps for tilled floors."

Reading it as the vampire girl took a moment to skim threw the pages as the book was filled with instructions on avoiding traps and pressurized spots. Continuing to look threw the book she also noticed a receipt on numerous owners who once rented the book, right at the last owner was doctor Blunder.

"Maybe waiting for an answer is better than asking one."

Draculaura stated to Junior as the lizard merely chuckled since he was correct about how the school could help Frankie's situation, however it couldn't have involved him getting hit with a book. The four decided to head out to the library they would have to find one of the perfect places a doctor would want to read a book.

Mad Science Class-Afternoon

With the classes ending for the day and no one within the room, Frankie checked into the room where the lights were off and no signs of anyone within the room. They opened the door quietly and the others came in trying to figure out what the book exactly meant. Taking a look at some of Blunder's paper, it had seem this was the only room where Blunder spent the most time.

"Summarizing what we know. Blunder got cursed and had to leave, however it seemed as if there was a way to cure it. There had to be a way back into the lab, which involved making a secret passageway that would let them travel right to the lab."

Clawdeen brings up what the four knew from the bottle that Frankie managed to find in the box of the people that help make them. Which resulted in a certain tile piece that could take them into the laboratory while avoiding traveling into the catacombs. Checking around the room for anything out of the ordinary, each of them looked if there was a clue that could give them a hand. Frankie looked around the ground as well noticed one of the floor's tiles being off colored.

"I think I found something."

Telling the others as it seemed Frankie found a way as they took a moment to activate the tile. Finding the right spot to press, their foot suddenly sank in by two inches which suddenly caused the floor to open up that flew right into the ground.

"Frankie!"

The others cried out as they saw how it was a secret entrance which forced the trio to rush into the hole as the opening closed right behind them. Traveling down the slide and continuing deeper into what seemed like a secret passageway, the three soon made their way out as well landing on the ground. Confused at what happen they saw how they were in a room that was in total darkness.

"Hang on. I got this part."

Junior suggested how to help out with the moment as Clawdeen and Draculaura helped him out as the Kaiju focused his scales to glow for them to see where they were at. With the lizard's scale lightening the room they managed to find the laboratory of doctor Blunder.

"Frankie?"

Clawdeen asked out since they were the first ones to slide into the lab as the trio saw the reanimated ghoul looking for whatever Blunder was working on. The ghouls took a moment to explore the lab as well numerous objects that Blunder had, however, Junior noticed the bottle that fell out of Frankie's pocket. Taking a moment he began to read it so he got a better look at what the curse was.

"This bottle was made to bring anything to life and tells about being cursed. Though this part, 'Contents and all associated curses expires on December thirty first, nineteen eighty three'. Meaning that you're not cursed."

Reading off what the rest of the bottle meant Frankie wasn't cursed but got frightened by the idea it caused her to make mistakes. While the others felt relieved by the news, Frankie however was saddened that all this time it was paranoia that made them make mistakes and affected everyone. Clawdeen could see the look on their face as she walked over to comfort her friend.

"Maybe the reason why you made all those mistakes was that you took it too literally, as well for us jumping to conclusions."

Expressing to Frankie how it wasn't their fault for believing the curse, turning to the others they agreed that they felt a bit off with the curse and fell for the idea. Smiling at the moment of relief that they weren't cursed and just made mistakes by themselves, the four heard a sudden growl within the lab which startled them.

"I think we forgot about that 'project' Blunder was working on. Which might be alive."

Draculaura suggested as they heard the growling coming from the side Junior decided to go first since he's been involved in fights. Looking around the corner hearing the growling slowly becoming louder, the four teens prepared for whatever Blunder had worked on. Only to find a shocking reveal which was a small dog, more or less a Franken dog made up of numerous animal parts and stitched together.

"Blunder was making a pet?"

Clawdeen questioned how the project was making an animal companion. While Frankie however was getting another memory relapse which showed the doctor working on the 'project', which involved bringing the dog to life as a protector of Monster High. Except it was supposed to be terrifying and fierce, not small and adorable. Stroking the dog's back in a peaceful way it seemed that it was in a deep sleep, more or less unable to wake up.

"Well not exactly. A Franken beast, meaning that he needs a jolt to wake up."

Frankie suggests a way to help the canine awake from its stasis sleep. The others moved back seeing Frankie's hands charging up with electricity, placing their hands right near the side of the animal's back. They saw a bright light of lighting shocking the dog, Frankie took a moment to wait for the dog to wake up as the others were curious if it work. Right at their curiosity the dog's back that had what looked like metal wings turned on as well as its eye opening which showed a metal pupil. Wagging its tail and barking excitedly as it leaped right onto Frankie licking their face to thank them for waking him up.

"Maybe a monster doctor's mistake is another's Franken pet. Just have to figure out what kind of name he needs."

Draculaura suggests to Frankie since it seems that while it didn't work out for Blunder, it was exciting for Frankie. Which resulted in them thinking about a name for the dog that best represented the dog and its unique personality.

"From this day forward, I shall call him. Watzie!"

Frankie announced as well holding the dog up in a proud manner feeling much like their positive self since now they had a pet that could comfort them. It felt great to see Frankie back to their usual self, however, they were still trapped in the old laboratory with no means of exit.

"Now we just need to get out of here. Maybe that's where I can step in."

Junior suggested he could use some Kaiju methods such as breaking down a wall and making their way back up to the school. Taking a moment he accidentally pressed on another step which made a sound around the small group, looking to the side they saw a secret entrance with stairs leading back up to the surface.

"Step in. Good one Junior."

Clawdeen complements Junior's choice of words as he said nothing but decided to head up the stairs as the ghouls do the same. Meanwhile, for Frankie who was holding their new pet, they didn't know whether to tell the others or importantly Junior about why Watzie was created to be a protector of the school. Did it involve a Kaiju that might try to endanger everyone just to be the new king or another sinister reason, however that would be researched another day since they and the others had enough investigation for one day.

Later-Bloodgood's Office

Meanwhile at the principal's office where she was in the middle of a meeting with a student who had had a parent get in right into the middle of the semester. Looking at the papers filed and done in order, the headless woman was stunned at how it seemed impossible to get brought into the school.

"I must say your father had quite the means of getting you into school with what has happened. Though it won't be easy since most of the classes and dorms had been taken. Still, Monster High is for everyone and we try our best to help the youth become the best of their future selves."

Offering her opinion that it be difficult to get fitted right into the class schedule, however, it seemed with everything was settled with transcripts and registration. The new student seemed likely to get into the school as she showed a confident smile to the student, while her horse Nightmare felt cautious around the student.

"There's just one question I'm curious about. What name do you prefer?"

Bloodgood asked him as she was staring at a three headed dragon Kaiju with red eyes with a jacket having chains along a color scheme of black and yellow with a mix of grey. The three heads had different looks on their faces from the left being curious while innocent looking, the right head having an aggressive look, and the center a composed expression of being in command of the body.

"Kevin! I prefer to be called Kevin."

The left head announced which left the two heads on the body to growl at the left seeing how it wasn't the name they'd agreed on. The center head looked at the principal for his head sibling's excited statement.

"Ghidorah. We are called Ghidorah."

Introducing themselves properly as he wanted to make sure the headmistress knew that the heads worked as one and thought as one. Nightmare still felt nervous about the Kaiju as she could tell they weren't like any other student, meaning that Bloodgood would need to keep a close eye on him so he didn't cause any trouble within the school grounds.
