It's been two months since the feast and Hadrian's patience was starting to wear thin. First it was meeting Ginerva Weasley for the first time. Then it was running into one Luna Lovegood who immediately knew who he was along with everything that happened. I mean she even told me she wasn't the Luna from my time but the past one. She just saw everything that happened and what brought me here.
And if that was any worse Hadrian has come to find out Luna was being bullied and by her own house at that. One quick trip to Professor Flitwick and one house meeting later the bullying had stopped. For all but a short moment, Did you know that Luna and Ginerva are childhood friends?, Yea..that was news to everyone around him as well.
With Ginerva located in Gryffindor it makes keeping an eye on her easy. According to the twins anyways she's exactly like them, slave crest and everything. But that is neither here nor there. Right now it's Thursday and tests have just been completed for the day. Every student had that afternoon off and they were allowed to leave the campus for the remainder of the week. They only needed to be back by Sunday night, so it shouldn't be too hard to remember.
And like every person there Hadrian was one of them. He alongside Fred and George decided they would surprise they're two favorite heroes in training. It would have just been the three of them except Neville found out about it somehow and is now looking pointedly in his direction.
"I'm going with you."
"If I remember correctly..you don't have a sub that's in Japan of all places."
"If you're wanting to surprise them, then I'm going with you."
"I'm not gonna get a choice am I?"
"Not really, no. Besides, it's not like I have something else to do this weekend."
Neville did have a point. Hadrian did want to surprise his two subs by showing up at their middle schools after all.
"That reminds me, did you get in touch with Nedzu about this little plan of yours?"
"Of course I did. Who did you take me for?"
"Someone who was a little less chaotic."
"Psh! Please! Nedzu is all for chaos. He wants to see how the entire heroics classes will react alongside his teachers to my brand of chaos." Hadrian's smile grew just a little bit.
"You're not going to hurt them are you?"
"Why would I hurt someone when I can traumatize them enough to think there's a ghost or some such in the school?"
"Please tell me you're going to record all of this?" From the way Neville was shaking he was just barely holding back his laughter.
"Nedzu will be recording the whole thing. We have a bet going on."
"What..kind..of bet?" Neville hesitantly asked.
"The kind that sees if the other chaos induced students take part or not."
The dam broke and Neville bursted out laughing. "Oh! Oh this is rich! Oh my gawd!" He kept laughing. The implications are enough in this endeavor.
Hadrian's smile was wide and sharp, "Tell me Neville, what little chaos would you like to cause?"
Ohh...now this Neville could get behind. The boys shared sharp wide smiles and began to plot everything Hadrian would do to the school at large. Vents were one discussion that was brought up only to be dismissed swiftly. Most of the transport can be done easily with the invisibility cloak that Hadrian owned.
It was a few moments later when Neville stilled in thought, "You are aware that your subs are still in middle school right?"
"Of course I know that. One goes to Aldera Middle while the other is at Nabu Middle. But I can't stop by either of those schools until the end of school. In the meantime I'll be causing some much needed chaos to keep the teachers on their toes." Hadrian smirked.
Nevilles answering sharp grin made this bet worth it. "They are heroes after all. This will be highly amusing."
Hadrian looked towards everyone from their group and frowned in thought. "The twins will be with me of course. They'll enjoy pranking the hell out of the teachers. What about the rest of you?"
"I can't go. I promised my Madre that I would be home this weekend."
"As loath as I am to admit this. I'll be home as well. Something to do with my Sister and some of her prospects for her hand."
"You already know I'll be with you. I'll be sending a letter home tonight before we leave. We are leaving tonight right?"
"Mmm..." Hadrian hummed in thought. Mentally mapping out the planned trip. The cost of a two way ticket to Mustafufu, Japan by plane per person is close to five gallons each. He would need three at minimum four if he can sneak Nevilles ticket in there.
"Don't you dare think about paying for my trip damnit." Neville frowned towards Hadrian.
Daphne giggled. She just took one look at his pouting, frowning face while he said that and began to giggle at her betrotheds plight.
Neville looked at her scandalized. "It's not funny Daph!"
"I know! I know! I'm sorry!" She continued to giggle.
"If I don't stop him now, it will already be paid for before we leave!" He whined.
"And what makes you think I haven't already paid for it before we even had this discussion?"
"Did you already pay for this trip Ian?"
"What makes you think he already had this trip planned out?" Blaise questioned. His head tilted just slightly to the left.
"Would it be that big of a deal if I already had this trip planned out?" Hadrian pointed out.
"Yes! I am one of your damn guards! You're supposed to tell me these things in advance!"
"But I did tell you."
"Telling me the day of or the same day doesn't count!"
"It's not like I didn't already know if you were busy or not. I still fail to see the problem."
"That's. Not. The. Point." Neville bit out in annoyance.
"Heeh! I still fail to see the problem. You weren't busy this weekend so I set up the chaos induced trip for this weekend."
"Which means Hadrian has already paid for everything. Did you take into account hotel prices?"
"I mean..I would have if I didn't already own a house there. So really we will be staying there while we are in Japan."
"It's not a mansion is it?"
"Oh gods no. It's a simple two story house with five bedrooms. There's a small guest room also located on the first floor."
"Least it's not a mansion."
"No, it's just a small house." Hadrian told the group, smiling slightly. Afterall his small house is a small mansion. Fully equipped with a training room, potions lab, greenhouse, library, study and music room. There's an art room as well but it's attached to the master bedroom.
"Are we going straight there when we leave?"
"No. No. We will be heading towards UA and staying there for the night. Then head towards the house after all the fun." Hadrian trailed off.
"You're going incognito right? Or will you go into the magical district while there?"
"Technically I should be going incognito. However the magical side is already aware I"ll be in town. The goatmuncher went and blabbed where I was headed."
"But he shouldn't of known where you were headed..."
"Tch!" Hadrian snarled, "He's still my forced guardian until this summer which means he found out easily just by asking about it."
"Great..has he figured out anything yet?" Neville sighed.
"Not yet no, and I'd like to keep it that way if at all possible."
"I would too with the amount of retribution you have planned."
"It's not like I'm planning everyone's murder. Just the incompetent ones."
"And an old goat."
"And an old goat, yes."
"Ian no."
"Ian yes. I like the plan I have for him. But first he must fall. And what better way to fall than to point out a small fact that's true?"
"You do realize what you're planning is social suicide right?"
"And? I'm not a power hungry, incompetent old man set on taking over the world by using the next generation."
"You have a point there Ian. So what do we do when it's time?"
Hadrian gave a small mischievous smile. "Well..I do believe we leave when we are done. But first.." he frowned, trailing off in thought.
"MiLord?" Blaise questioned softly in slight concern.
"Luna's being bullied. Apparently it started when she first started Hogwarts."
"Why hasn't she mentioned it before?"
"Do you remember our original time through here Nev?"
"Yea, I remember. That time of the year was stupidly annoying. You were buddy buddy with Granger and Weasley. Kept to yourselves. I know you were watching Ginerva a lot at the time also."
"She was acting off then. She and Luna used to be friends. Then they both started here and are separated into two different houses and suddenly they can't be friends anymore?"
"We should probably keep an eye on Ginerva then. The diary really screwed with her mentality."
"Before I forget, the portkey leaves at eight tonight so we need to meet up in the foyer before then. Make sure you only pack lightly." Hadrian mentioned before the group fully dispersed to their own rooms.
