Narrator pow:
"Ack!" Momo gasped, jumping backwards from a weirdly cool air outside of the airport main building.
"Whoa!" Vilem exclaimed, moving sideways like a goalkeeper and catching her before she could trip backwards on the stairs behind them. "You good?"
"Eee, good. Thank you." She responded, embarrassed.
"Aww... How cute-! Ojiro! Help me!" Hagakure teased her, only to suffer the same fate and wrap herself around the tailboy.
"Welcome bacm to continental climate, kiddo." Half-Slovak joked lightly, putting into himself the blue winter jacket from his Hero outfit. "Now get used to non-oven conditions back outside."
"Shame that I didn't pack a thing for this..." Hagakure groaned, while Ojiro shaked his head in a gesture of 'Help me you two, please.'.
"Well guess who has you covered!" A positive tone sounded as a man in red jumpsuit crossed the doors with a large scoop of ice cream. "Glad to see you again Vilem."
"Me too, even if the money I gave you for ice cream go to my intern's stomach."
"Now, now, these are not the same." Oldest person in the place said before turning around. "Now move up lazybones, we have to get back to our agency."
"You heard 'em." Vilem smiled as he released Momo from his embrace and stormed forward.
"Wait for me!" Hagakure shouted, jumping off of Ojiro and running behind him with her luggage.
"That's... Interesting." Tailboy commented as he and Momo followed them to a white van that seemed to be changed into a small bus on the inside.
"I know our locomotion isn't the best, but we don't have Japanese care for the outside." Slovak Hero said, taking the driver seat. "Also, my Hero name is Blind Redder, but you can call me by the Rudnick since we're second degree friends."
"Internships are also a way to make connections that will stay with you for the rest of your career. Don't underestimate this aspect." Vilem advised, opening the passenger doors and stepping aside for Hagakure to jump in. "In case you were wondering, I'm sitting in the front to not take more space back there." He added, walking away to take a sit in the front.
"Oh, I never got to learn how to operate with these." Momo said, making her akwardness very clear by the voice intonation.
"Well, my parents still have one." Ojiro added, letting her pass and sit in the middle before himself hopping inside. "And... Bap!" He added, closing the doors with a weird sense of gracefulness.
"What was this 'Bap!' for?" Hagakure asked him.
"It brings back memories, that's all." He responded with naive glare as everyone tied their seatbelts.
"Alright kids, let me show you the route to our agency!" Rudnick smiled as he turned on the engine with a shit-eating grin.
Imagine a robotic rhino screaming*
"What was that?!" Hagakure asked, holding onto Momo out of fear.
"The insides. This van is modified for Hero work." Rudnick responded as he driven away from the airport.
"Gadgets aren't always a core costume parts." Vilem explained. "They can be virtually anything that let's Hero do their job.
"Structure neutral, doctrine purist I see?" Blind Redder asked him suggestively.
"Yup."
"Glad to know, I am structure radical, doctrine neutral."
"So you think that every car that is used to move Heroes faster is a Hero support equipment?"
"Yes I do. If it's stupid but gets the job done then it's not stupid."
"Of course..."
"There we are everyone!" Vilem called behind himself as their van stopped in front of a three-store building that on the outside seemed to be a large white rectangle amongst variable townhouses around it. "The size on the outside can lie however, the agency is taking all the inside space of this parcel." He added, opening his doors and getting out of his seat as everyone else did the same.
"Oh, there you are." A rather short man with grid-like brown skin and strangely round face greeted them as the cut-in piece of pavement to the right of him and entreance doors lowered down.
"Hello to you, Milan." Vilem smiled back. "I see you finally made the underground parking lot."
"You expected us not to? After goverment gave us donation?" Rudnick asked him with disbelief while driving the van into the underground level.
"Come on bro, your recent action in that tower fire really uped our ratings." Milan added, taking two pistachio nuts out of nowhere and eating them.
"Oh, hello Sir!" Invisible girl greeted him happly.
"Hello to you, Hagakure." He responded, waving his hand for the group to come inside with their belongings. "I saw how. you skidded on the ice back at Sport Festival."
"Oh really? I didn't know it was broadcasted all over the world."
"Naah, Vilem has torrented the. transmission to one of his apartments, then Rudnick shared it with me... By the way, hello to you two."
"Hello Sir, I am Momo Yaoyorozu.
"And I am Ojiro."
"Glad to meet you. I hope you like pistachio nuts."
"How come?" Momo asked him.
"Well, my Quirk basically allows me to create near-infinite ammounts of pistachio nuts from literally anything, usually air around me." Milan explained as they reached the reception, making three interns stop in their tracks out of weirdness.
"He basically buries every villain in pistachio nuts and provides stable food source on the go." Vilem added, following after the group. "Quite a versitile Quirk."
"Nonse-!" Hagakure frowned, only to be instantly buried under a heap of afromentioned nut type.
"Toru!" Ojiro shouted, swiping upper layer of nuts aside. "Are yoy alright.
" Mhmj... MMMMMM! Tfu! Heh... Yeah... " She responded after a while as she had to throw out some of the nuts of her mouth.
"Warned ya'." Milan shrugged his arms while Vilem collected the spilled nuta into a disposable container. "Now, go left and then right to the staircase. Rooms for internships are in a middle of the first floor."
"Understood." Momo added, moving her bags up and walking past them.
"Mhm, thank you." Ojiro added, grabbing Toru by the collar while Vilem uptook her bag. "Come on now, we still have to settle in."
"Ugh, fiiinnne... "
"Did they made it safe?" Aizawa asked, calling on the phone as he sat down in front of his paperwork at a late hour.
"Yes they did. Already placing their things in the bedrooms." Vilem responded on the other side.
"They do have privacy, right?"
"Every bedroom for one person and one person only. I used apartments prior to now because some of the rooms were being adapted specifically to suit this purpouse."
"Well then, glad to know." His teacher responded, looking at some on the computer. "In fact, the pictures on Hagakure's social page prove it.
"Oh right, better if I go check on them now."
"Good idea, now go."
"Sure, Sir. Good night."
"Good afternoon."
"Training and practise courses start tomorrow. As for now, get rested and acknowledged with the place." Vilem said, as he turned around and left his trio to themselves.
"Why are you so strict?" Hagakure asked him impatiently.
"Responsibility." He responded with a weird sense of urgency. "Just so you know, anything that happens to you three in here goes on me, specifically."
"Oh, right..."
"Very well then." Momo nodded. "Ojiro, want to join me with Slovak lessons in a meantime?"
"I think I can, not much to do anyways." He added, turning left and walking into her room while Vilem walked away, leaving Toru alone in the corridoor.
"Eehhh, fiiine." She groaned, walking back into her room and closing the reinforced doors. "I guess watching white paint dry is an option." She added, walking up to her bed and falling flat on it out of boredom.
"Why so let down?" A weird tone asked her. "You want unconditional friendship from a guy with issues?"
"Huh?..." Toru growled, turning around and seeing a golden flower in a middle of the room, starring at her with a weirdly round and... Kindly bland face?
"And who even are you?"
"Jeez kid, two or three adult words and already insulted." Flower teased him, before shaking violently and resuming with a positive tone. "Anyways, howdy! I am Flower Hero: Flowey! I work here as a guard."
"Hello Flowey..." Toru presumeably rolled her eyes before moving into a sitting position, looking straight at the flower. "Nice to meet you, I'm Invisible Girl, Toru Hagakure in private."
"And my private name is Asriel Dreemur The Second. Nice to meet you." Flower responded, making a silly face with a wink and sticked out tongue.
"Second? Are you from royality or something?"
"No, my dad disliked idea of calling me per 'Junior', so he gave me a number." Flowey responded, looking rather reluctant to talk about it.
"Oh, I guess..."
"Anyways, want to make a friend?"
"By 'friend' you mean yourself?" Toru asked him, still unconvinced.
"No you doofus!" Flowey responded with a giggle, before having a small, bright green heart appear in front of himself with a eerie light around it. "In general."
"Hey! Maken has similar thing, but white!" She responded with sudden realisation.
"Soul-based Quirks are just that common in this region." Flowey smiled, looking straight into her. "But this, this is a soul of Kindness."
"... Uh-huh." Toru nodded in response, her face visibly informing that she didn't understood what he said.
"In other words, weaponized friendship." Flowey added. "Was looking for someone to take it for a while now..."
"How did you even get this?" Hagakure asked him. "Like, it's not your soul if you want to give it away, right?"
"Right." Sentient flower responded, closing his eyes with an akward sigh. "In the beginning, there were seven Soul Quirks that appear in a generation before ours: Determination, Patience, Bravery, Integrity, Perseverance, Kindness and Justice. Seven emotions and concepts personalized in a Quirk form. Quite funny, isn't it?"
"Do tell. But what about them?"
"Well, my father, Asriel Dreemur, was so inspired by their power that he went out of his way to hunt these souls for his own use." Flowey sighed, his leaves and stems lifelessly falling down onto the floor. "Because of his obsession, he became a villain. Then, he killed six children with the Soul Quirks, thus taking their souls that he later brought to his base inside a Mount Ebott. A place near Slovakia's borders with Poland and Czech Republic, where he made a villain hideout alongside his laboratory and community for his followers, as he wanted to use this power to make new, better world."
"Oh." Toru let out an empty gasp. "What happened to the seventh one?"
"Well, this is where the story is doubtful in detail, so don't take my words as proven facts." Flowey said, to which he recieved a solid now. "Now then, the Heroes eventually found out about his actions and launched a raid on it, led by All Might. And while the attack itself was a success, it did result in many dead and even more wounded." He paused, a single tear going down his left cheek. "When I heard about the whole situation, I immedieately went to the scene. You know, hoping to find him and change his ways throu family love."
"But you... Didn't?" She asked, also feeling sad about him.
"No, no I didn't." Flowey responded, relucantly looking down. "When I arrive at the scene the battle was mostly over. But yet, I used my nature as a flower to bypass the security cordon and get inside, where I managed to see my dad and All Might deal to eachother blows so hard, that the latter got injured beyond healing and the prior... Died, being sent into the machine with six souls that was already giving him the power to fight All Might on a equal level."
"W-what happened then?" Toru asked, now feeling rather scared than worried, but still very curious.
"The consequental explosion and chain reaction made the entire mountain disappear from existance, literally vaporized it out of existance." Flowey paused for a while, looking around in case someone was evasedropping them. "After that, six souls he collected spread out all over the universe, presumeabely never to be seen again. Last remaining human, called Firsk, got so scared of people trying to kill him for the Quirk that he went mad, deciding that the only way to stop humanity is to kill it all, so that no one would try to do such to him. As my dad always said, 'In this world, it's to kill or be killed', ironic in a way."
"Erm... Then if the souls flew in all parts of the universe..." Hagakure asked him, now fully using her brain to connect the dots. "Then how did you get the Kindness one?"
"Well, at first I was leaning towards continuation of his goals, even if he almost never was at home. He's still my dad and all, y'know?" Flowey began another part of his explaination. "But after I heard of life-lasting damage All-Might recieved and having my mum isolated from me for supposed help to him as I turned eighteen, I changed my mind. Luckly enough, I caught the Kindness soul as the machine exploded and escaped before suffering All Might's fate of going onto a doenward spiral. Few not-public people still dispute if it was this attack that accelerated his lose of power and it's sustainability."
"Well, he does appear less and less in action..." Toru nodded, having a slow realisation about the other part of the story. "And I thought he was invincible."
"Everyone did. Everyone normal at least." Flowey added, rising a thin stem nearby the bed and patting her on the back. "The point is, there has to be someone that goes after him. And since I take a long time with paperwork here thanks to my criminal background and Vilem isn't fully decided to stay in Japan, I give you this soul for a sake of everyone. Are you kind enough to accept it?"
"..."
"No problem, take your time-?"
"I am!"
"Whoa kid, you got me off the beat on this one." Flowey sighed with relief, looking up at rather upbeat Hagakure. "Now, let's give you the gift we agreed upon..."
