Mira Pov:

"For most of the history between Kaiju and monsters, each of them has a past that holds its own stories. Most of them came from dreadful starts that ended in a peaceful departure. My mother had that type of story, she was a human that looked over all life and would nourish it to its fullest potential. Mothra protected everyone regardless of whether they wanted to be destructive or want to find a new life. My adoptive mother Medusa told me that out of the previous goddess that cursed her, she was depicted as the only one to ask her to look after me. I believe it's important for everyone that they learn about where they came from and what they went through to make the realm in where we stand, which is why it's good that Monster High is its annual Scaritage day."

Morning-Monster High

Today was a busy day for everyone at the school due to each of them bringing their family's items and relished materials that were passed down to them so they could share them with others. Stands were up with each student showing both their nationality and family tree which sprouted from here in the Kaiju realm and back in the other world where the monsters came from. Junior seemed to be the only one without a stand since his father was already infamous and respected by both species while also hated since they wanted his power.

"I thought you'd want to participate in this event."

Hearing a voice from behind him was Mira who noticed how the lizard was keeping to himself during the convention. Junior saw how the moth girl was curious that while he enjoyed mass crowds meeting one another, this seemed like the exception since everyone knew his family history.

"I am. Which is observing everyone's stands and checking it out on my Icoffin about their homes from the other side."

Explaining that he was doing it the monster way which involved looking at each of the stands and looking up the history of each of his classmates. Mira only gave him a questionable look on how that wasn't exactly the way to immerse into the event. The lizard saw how Mira looked at him leaving Junior to groan in annoyance seeing through his lie quickly.

"Alright, I'm just not exactly fond of getting questions about how Gojira truly was before Pandora met him. I wasn't even there and exactly look it up in the library, Kaiju's aren't exactly fond of making things but breaking."

Giving her the real reason why he wasn't attending the event personally due to him not sharing his side of the family since everyone knew about Gojira. The moth girl was getting concerned since his friends were busy showing their families to the school leaving him here on his own. Hearing his words and realizing how it might be difficult to get questions answered about his father, Mira still believed it was important to learn about his friend's families.

"Then I believe your majesty should try and make history, which is by interacting with your friends."

Mira convinces Junior to attend the event physically as she used her left wing to push him right into the event. Making sure he looked presentable, Junior decided to take up on Mira's words and try to interact with the students along with learning about monster cultures. Luckily one of the stands was Draculaura who was in the middle of explaining her parents to several classmates.

"Now it's most common for people to think that all vampires come from Transylvania, however, my mother was born in Taiwan. So whenever I'm with her and her family I speak Mandarin."

Informing the others about her mother's side by speaking in Mandarin as an example by introducing herself in her mother's language. The monsters and Kaiju applauded her for the example she presented as they decided to check out the others and learn about their families. Draculaura smiled about talking about her family with others since they mostly knew about her father Dracula, so it was a relief to talk about her mother's side. She noticed how Junior was amongst the crowd as well the only one to remain behind as he wanted to learn about her vampire family.

"Nice to see you here, I thought that you would make a performance out of your dad. Could have asked for help."

Draculaura complementing about how she wouldn't mind helping out with talking about his father since they had an act of making a big appearance. Everyone was offered the chance to participate in the event, however, Junior was the only one not to do it but help set up the stands and have everything ready for when his classmates would share their stories with the school.

"While it would have been exciting to have people possibly hear me talk about how my dad was the most destructive force in all the realm and responsible for numerous defeats and how I'm carrying the title. This is the one time I'm sticking on the sidelines."

Responding in an honest yet sarcastic tone due to how while he was glad that his father left him a guitar after the fight with Komos and putting a different perspective on Gojira. He thought it be best he kept out of it since there were countless other families that were fascinating to learn about than his.

"Junior, from one vampire whose dad is still being feared by vampire kind and was raised by him. Dad's will care about their kids no matter what happens, plus not everyone is afraid of Gojira. They still think he was frightening when it came to looking after monster kind."

Explaining that most intimidating fathers will always care for their children regardless and how they talk about them to others. The lizard couldn't argue with that since if things were different and Gojira could have still been around, he might have had a decent upbringing but also dangerous one since most of his enemies would use him to make Gojira submit.

"He sure did. Guess it's my turn to look after everyone, though I can tell you'd do that much since I'm not alone in protecting both monsters and Kaiju."

Reminding her about having a hand in helping recent moments happening in school which made the vampire smirk at him since he admitted on needing help. This made her chuckle at how he's grown more opened with the ghouls and showing how he valued their assistance. The two see Clawdeen and Frankie walking over with complexed looks on each of their faces after learning about the other families.

"I didn't think that Lagoona's great grandparents would be involved with helping out Finnegan's in learning the depths of the Atlantic Ocean, and almost eating them after getting trapped in a cave."

Clawdeen stating in an intrigued but frighten response to her aquatic friend's lineage of them being explorers while Frankie didn't mind. Right now in their hands the reanimated ghoul was writing down the numerous stories from their friends and how it be exciting to research about them later.

"More importantly I learned about Rhodey's father being one of the only Kaiju's to withstand volcanic eruptions and can sleep in one without any damage to his skin. Maybe that's why he and Heath are good friends."

Making a statement about one of their classmate's abilities which they heard a laughter from the side where the four saw Rhodey was showing off his immune fire skin by letting Heath lighting him up in fire. Chuckling at the sight made Junior not think about himself talking about his father for everyone since they knew Gojira's story.

"If that's the case. I'm going to the cafeteria and get me something to bite, everyone is enjoying themselves so I should do the same."

Suggesting to his friends that there wasn't that much for him to do as he was about to make his leave. It was quickly stopped by Mira who stood right in front of him taking Junior by surprise on how quiet she was while listening to them, grumbling underneath his breath he could tell Mira wasn't going let him go since it was important to acknowledge his father and see everyone's examples of presenting their families.

"Apologies your majesty, but you're not slipping away that easy. I'm glad you were able to meet up with Junior, I've tried to reason with him about learning about other families is important, I thought maybe you could convince him?"

Explaining the reason for trying to help him since it seemed upsetting to not learn about his father's background. Junior was about to respond to Mira on why he didn't want to participate in which Frankie's bolt's light up, leaving them to think of a response. Junior noticed it and tried to convince them to not say anything, however Frankie couldn't control themselves.

"He does want to talk about his father with everyone but he's nervous because most of his history before meeting Pandora was forgotten and that he didn't tell anyone about his past."

Stating to the group quickly as Frankie noticed how Junior told them in secret since he was helping them out with lifting most of the equipment that made them. The Ghouls looked at the Kaiju to see if that was the reason, if it was he didn't know that much about Gojira and could share it with the others. Feeling the pressure and his scales slowly glowing in defense due to everyone curious to see if that was the answer, Junior calmed himself down to try and explain about what Frankie had told everyone.

"Alright. I tried to participate in the scaritage event and tried to get any kind of information on my dad, but there's only about him and Pandora working together. Nothing about him being on his own."

Junior admitting to everyone about not having to much information on Gojira since the only thing he learned from his father was he was responsible for countless fights which devastated the realm. The second part was he changed to be a respectable Kaiju and helped monster kind adjust here and make the school they were standing in. Clawdeen could tell from the look on his face he felt upset that everyone could share a bit of their life with others, which left the werewolf girl to help him since it seemed he might need the help.

"Then let's go find some information on Gojira in the library. There might be something that could help out with learning about your dad, and if you say anything about not doing it. I'll tell Frankie about the songs I gave you and the dances you've tried to do."

Making a decision in aiding Junior which made the Kaiju speechless about what Clawdeen wanted to do and unable to think about a comeback. Biting his lip and frustrated at how he could not say no to her suggestion, Junior nodded since it seems right for her and the others to help out since he needed the assistance. Mira expressed a smile to him on how it would be the right thing to do and learn about his father's background before making Monster High and any type of past that could be researched into.

Later-Library

Heading to the library to look up the history of the Kaiju realm and how things were before Pandora arrived. There were numerous books that had stories about each Kaiju that survived within the realm and fights that shaped the surroundings. The five had read almost every book about Kaiju's and how they had in hand in helping out monsters and the past they came from, except for Gojira which left him the only one out of the research.

"For the past hour of being here in the library we learned that Mothra once aided injured Kaiju's whenever they were hurt from my dad's brutal beatings. Caesar's dad roamed in the jungles waiting for the moment to take up the responsibilities of an actual Shisha in becoming a guardian, lastly Armor's dad becoming the first construction worker to help make buildings and the school."

Clawdeen listing the other Kaiju elders that made the realm welcoming to everyone, however nothing on Gojira's past. The group were having trouble with finding any kind of information on him as if it was being hidden on purpose. Junior looking at a fearbook about past students attending Monster High along his father by the side made his scales glow in frustration.

"All that and nothing my dad, just him acting like a founding father for Monster High and nothing about the past. Dang it why couldn't someone record the damn thing?!"

Getting angry and hurling one of the books at the wall making the others jump at the tantrum and the book hitting the ground. Junior, noticing how he made his friends scared merely sighs at the response to the hour he did on finding nothing about Gojira.

"It's because there wasn't anyone that could record it during that era, plus several photographers would be terrified by your father's titanic size."

Frankie answering his question on instinct as Gojira sighs at his friend offering the suggestion as Junior was going put the book back onto its shelf. Before he could grab it, he noticed something at the wall along with his shadow. He saw how his hand continued to act up along slowly changing to that of a feminine form. Seeing his shadow changed made Junior frightened as suddenly the shadow's hand reached out and touches his hand.

"Please don't throw the books."

The shadow spoke softly which quickly made Junior yell due to him being scared of his shadow talking to him. Moving back still startled by this he accidentally bumps into the table causing the books to collapse onto him. The ghouls saw how the shadow acting frightened as it quickly hid behind one of the bookshelves. Everyone was curious about this strange individual except for Draculaura who rushed right in front of everyone.

"Wait! She's a friend, I forgot she was hanging around in the library at this time."

Quickly protecting the shadow and getting concern since she knew what the shadowy stranger was. Offering her hand to the shadow, Draculaura carefully pulled out the ghoul from the wall which slowly gained a physical form and revealing herself to everyone. She had light purple skin with light teal and purple streaks. Her dress was designed to look like pajamas and having a nervous look on her face appearing to be new in meeting people.

"My name is Twyla, daughter of the Boogeyman. I'm sorry that startled you, but you were yelling a lot and I'm not comfortable with loud sounds."

Introducing herself and explaining about the loudness that Junior was making after getting upset about not being able to find anything about his dad's past life. The ghouls and Kaiju got confused about what Twyla meant, while Draculaura looked to the boogey girl with an encouraging look for Twyla to talk to her new friends.

"I'm Autistic and prefer to keep to myself and be in quiet places such as the library."

Twyla talking about her condition and being here due to how peaceful the library was when no one was in it. Junior and the ghouls looked at Draculaura as they got the notion that she knew the boogey girl before meeting them when the semester started.

"We met when we were in grave school long ago, kind of had a common trait in being alone and decided to be secret friends."

Draculaura explaining her friendship with the shy boogey ghoul which took the others by surprise since they didn't think Draculaura had any other friends. Twyla was still curious about how there were so many people in the library which left Clawdeen to help explain about what was happening.

"If you like we can be friends, right now we're helping Junior with learning about his father."

Explaining about why they were here and offering a hand in becoming friends which left Twyla nervous since she's heard about the conflict between them and the mad Komos. Looking at everyone who was curious with her, Twyla noticed the look from Junior as her eyes glowed softly as she cautiously walked towards him.

"I've read most stories about Gojira and learned that he was generous to both Kaiju and monsters. Though being alone and traveling in the dream world, sometimes it's hidden within us. Especially what connects us to our parents."

Twyla offering a suggestion as she placed her hand right onto his chest which made Junior nervous. Though from her calm expression, his scales began to glow along feeling relax like if he was swimming. Noticing how everyone was looking at her curious about what she was doing, Twyla quickly stopped feeling nervous and decided to retreat back into the shadows.

"I wouldn't mind the extra help. If you don't want to I understand, but if it's possible I'd appreciate it and will make sure to not make loud sounds in the future."

He asked her if she couldn't try to look into his dreams to see if there was anything that could be linked to Gojira. Twyla saw the honesty from his face and the others who've tried to help him with learning about Gojira, feeling a boost of confidence in getting asked for help. She decided to do it but would have to ask the others for a request.

"It's possible that I can try, but I need everyone to leave so everything could be quiet. If that's alright with everyone?"

Explaining how she could help Junior's situation which left the ghouls to agree to her conditions since it seemed right for them to give Twyla personal space. Deciding to leave the library and having it be just her and Junior. Twyla requested the king to sit on a chair and calm his senses, rubbing her bracelets to calm herself and focus. Twyla placed her hands close to his head allowing herself to look into his dreams with Junior feeling peaceful during the moment. Continuing to look through his dreams and noticing a certain part of his mind, Twyla slowly began to bring it out allowing the Kaiju sense it. Opening his eyes and having a startled look on his face. He turned to Twyla with a smile and thanking her for the help, along going to keep his promise to make sure in being quiet in the library since this place was her personal space.

Later-Scaritage event

Returning back to the event and it still continuing to go on for the rest of the day, Junior was able to make a quick presentation for the students as they gathered around the stand and him going to explain his dad's past. Seeing everyone looking at him curious to see what he could share with them, Junior looked at his friends standing on the side encouraging him as he began to explain his father's past.

"After getting help from a special ghoul. I've learned my father wasn't just a fighter, he was a peaceful man."

Starting off his presentation as Junior presented to everyone a sketch work that Clawdeen helped with which showed Gojira sleeping away from everyone. The students could see that from how most of their teachers talked about him being a force of nature, he was just like any other creature who preferred peace and quiet.

"Just like me I learned that he enjoyed music that the land made, plus enjoying peaceful swims in the ocean."

Bringing up another fact about Gojira got curious about how the terrifying king of Kaiju was a peaceful creature that didn't seek conflict or fights. Showing more sketches that the ghouls helped him design, they saw how the large reptile would keep to himself and not bother anyone.

"Another important thing was he always moved from one place to another, even if he found the perfect spot to call home. He'd draw to much attention and continue to move in order to not engage any conflict for Kaiju's that sought his power."

Continuing his presentation about how they were similar in every way and that they continued to move where they were at. As the students continued to listen to his presentation, the ghouls in the back along with Twyla saw how their friend was engaging with others and enjoying the moment.

"He may be loud sometimes but can make up for it whenever he shows his true side. Which is being open to everyone, even if he wants to be alone."

Draculaura talking to Twyla about how the current king wanted to be open towards everyone and try to make an effort in being social, almost like her when she told the others about studying witchcraft. The boogey ghoul was surprised from her words and seeing how she'd changed from being the loner vampire that she met long ago, as well how having new friends had open her up as well sharing her emotions which she's never done when they first met.

"I hope we can spend more time together, when you want to."

Clawdeen offering to be friends with her which made Twyla surprised by the offer since she did have that many friends until she met Draculaura. Looking to the vampire if it seemed right, Draculaura nodded since Clawdeen and the others would enjoy having someone like her to hang out with. Agreeing with the request, the four ghouls looked at Junior talking to the rest of their classmates becoming more like them in communication and bonding. Looking over back he smiled at them helping him out and it was good to once in a while share things with people, especially when it comes from the son of the former king of Kaiju.
