Ghidorah Pov:
"Before the realm had become a haven for monsters to escape from the human world, Kaiju's were the dominant species of the realm and were viewed as gods. They made the ground quake underneath their feet, blacken the skies with their wings and display powers that not even the most frightening of beasts would dare face them. Basically, the description of my dad's childhood growing up, yet it ended tragically with Junior's father and Pandora stopping him from taking the title while in return ruling it as it should be. Though the beating he took has left him injured badly, leaving me to carry on the Ghidorah legacy in defeating the king and take command of the Kaiju. However, I've learned that three heads can never be enough. It's better to have others with the same goal in becoming popular, luckily even Monster High has ambitious individuals like me."
Afternoon-Clawditorium
It was a busy day for everyone at Monster High since Headmistress Bloodgood asked the students to come to the Clawditorium to see a special presentation which had everyone curious since it was announced suddenly. Behind the curtain and watching the class and other students at the school settle in was Kevin, the left head of the Ghidorah siblings who was watching with curiosity and noticing how everyone was waiting patiently for their performance.
"You know something brothers? I think maybe instead of trying to take Godzilla Junior's title as king is to maybe be something else. The plan that Toralei just came up with is pretty exciting, maybe we should do this for fun than trying to start a fight."
Suggesting to his brothers about instead of doing this to try and take down Junior, but to do it for fun and enjoy the school their in since they've only been homeschooled since they cracked from their eggs. The right head merely gave his brother a look about the suggestion he made since it wasn't in their blood to act 'peaceful' to Junior's father exiling theirs to the old lands.
"How is it that we're related? More importantly how long has it been since I've tried to bite you for coming up with idiotic ideas?"
The right head questioning his brother as he snarled his fangs at him causing Kevin to move away avoiding his glare as the right head tried to get his attention. The middle head only sighed at how his head brothers squabbling amongst themselves. Being the self-controlled head of the body, he forced both of them to stop moving and to restrain each other.
"Brother, we came to this school to take the title and become king. Especially restore name to our family and show them how power should be handled."
Reminding Kevin about what their mission was and that it was important for them to not get blinded by the comfort of Monster High. Kevin merely. Kevin sadly nodded since for a while he'd notice that the school was friendly towards them despite how they appeared, not knowing about the fight they did with Junior back in the catacombs. The three still continued to mutter amongst one another until they heard several objects moving which had the three light up their eyes in a threatening manner. Though it was quickly stopped by the sound of purring which came from Toralei who smiled at how the Ghidorah brothers were bickering amongst each other.
"It's always cute seeing you three trying to focus on what you want. It was like that with my cousins when we grew up, always trying to focus on one goal. Which is being popular."
The werecat telling him as the pair looked by the stage seeing two werecats carrying a couple of instruments including drums and guitars. The werecats were both black and white with stripes but their eyes both were purple and orange. Placing the instruments on the side and preparing to set things up, the sisters noticed the three headed Kaiju studying them and the instruments they brought on stage.
"Our cousin told us about how you have a strong bond with your brothers, she didn't tell us about you all sharing a body."
One of the werecats saying as it made the three heads give her a different reaction to the response, the middle merely remains silent not letting the werecat's words get to him. Though that didn't work so well with the right head and Kevin since they'd never been complimented by anyone. Taking a look at the other werecat who was having trouble setting it up Ghidorah decided to help out with the equipment and noticing that they were a band.
"Plus that she's talked about us since she's our lead singer of the band, the Hissfits! Along that you wanted to join since she told us that you have a killer beat as a drummer."
Asking him about how Toralei talked about her cousins with him and that they were popular. The dragon looked at Toralei since she's kept this information to her and how she told the two about him joining the band as a drummer. Showing a sly smile and guiding him to the drums, Ghidorah was still suspicious about this position he was in.
"Meowlody and Purrsephone have been looking for a drummer to match the bands fierce look. Especially that this is going be the band's first show after I convinced Headmistress Bloodgood to transfer my cousins here."
Explaining the reason for them being here and how Toralei required the Kaiju to be the drummer since they needed someone with powerful to give them a beat. While it was a surprise to be invited into a group like this, Ghidorah couldn't lose focus of his true goal in dethroning Junior and becoming king of the Kaiju. Hearing the muttering growing from the outside, the right head took a moment to look seeing none other than Junior who was sitting by his friends which made his eyes quickly glow with electricity.
"Relax brother. This might be a good opportunity to beat him something he cherishes, especially with a lesson we learned in biology."
Ghidorah telling his right head as the three and werecats looked over to Toralei who brought with her a box with several holes on to top that contained something alive in it. Walking over to see what she had in it, Toralei opened the box showing what looked like worms but the size of headphones and glowing neon pink.
"Consider it a welcoming present cousin, Earworms. These little fellas will fall for us when we sing our sing, no matter who listens to it."
Explaining the plan to the three leaving each of them with a curious expression on their faces. Ghidorah and Meowlody were fascinated by the worms since this could help them become instantly popular, while Purrsephone was concerned since in the past they didn't need to use this type of method to wow the crowd with their music.
"Are you sure about this will work Toralei? I don't want to get in trouble on my first day here."
Asking Toralei about if this could get them in trouble since they had a brief history of causing trouble before going to Monster High. Starting trouble on the first day wasn't what she had in mind, leaving Ghidorah to smirk at the werecat since she didn't know what would happen during their first performance.
"Trust us Purresphone. Once this is over, I guarantee that the Hissfits will make a mark on Monster High as the greatest band ever. If anyone says no, will fry them just to prove that point."
Expressing to the uncertain werecat that once they wowed the crowd and bring down Junior, he'd make sure the band would be known in the school and popular at the same time. While he would care less about music since he was head focused on becoming king, it was still important to acknowledge the monsters that are helping him to pursue his goal. Hearing him acknowledge her and the band made her along Meowlody smile at that he'd make sure everyone knew them after their performance was over. Back in the chairs was the students who were waiting patiently to see what was Toralei's and Ghidorah's performance as most of the students were muttering about what they wanted to show.
"It still astounds me that Bloodgood hasn't expelled Ghidorah after our encounter. I still had the wound to prove it."
Caesar bringing up a memory about how Ghidorah made his declaration on taking Junior status as the new king of Kaiju. Especially how he has the bite marks from Ghidorah's right head since it was the first time, he felt a bite like that from a Kaiju that tried to fight him.
"Not to say anything to make it hurt but you attacked him first. And he responded in defense since Ghidorah was after Junior."
Frankie correcting the Shisha Kaiju since he wanted to see what made him different out of the countless Kaiju's that battled Junior in the past. Grumbling under his breath about them being right, Junior was right now thinking what exactly they had planned if it required half of the school body to be here. Hearing everyone's muttering and conversations going on the class soon saw their principal coming up on stage which resulted everyone to be quiet since she was going speak to the group.
"Greetings students, apologies for the announcement and gathering you here to the Clawditorium. Though today is special due several new students that Monster High had just accepted, who both have anxiously asked me to let them perform for everyone how excited they are to be here."
Explaining the sudden gathering about the school getting new students which had everyone curious since whenever new students come to Monster High, they sometimes bring a unique talent that makes the school special. The anticipation grew because it could be anything from showing a special ability that everyone had or a talent that could help out with school events as Bloodgood could tell they wanted to see their new classmates.
"Put your hands, claws and tentacles together for Purresphone and Meowlody. And their band, the Hissfits."
Introducing the two new students to Monster High as everyone applauded the arrivals as the group saw the curtains moving away which showed a surprising sight. Toralei as the lead singer with her cousins being the rhythm and bass guitarists. Ghidorah, was the drummer with the heads smirking at everyone and staring towards Junior seeing how he was doing this directly at him since he was a fan of music.
"Calm yourself Junior, I think their just here to play. I hope."
Draculaura noticing how Junior was acting towards Ghidorah copying his hobby and getting a stare from the three headed dragon. With them ready to start off the performance, Toralei singled Ghidorah to let the earworms out as he began playing the drums with the other werecats playing their instruments making sure to distract everyone from the worms set loose.
"Yeah, I know you like my style. She's got the sharpest claws in the wild."
Toralei and the twins singing as the band seemed to be taking their pacing during the performance. Everyone was curious about the performance not noticing the earworms slithering across the floor to the student's legs, seeing one of the earworms crawl up behind Bloodgood's shoulder. The principal was unable to react quickly as the bug latched right around her head becoming headphones causing her to look directly at the stage as well the band.
"Everybody look to me. To see the possibilities."
Stating to them as several more students had earworms wrapping around their heads becoming headphones. At the same time the worms latched onto their ears, they suddenly began to cheer for the werecat band as Ghidorah lets out a roar shooting lighting in the air for effect getting everyone to cheer louder for them.
"Toralei's the cool cat! Your love is what I must have, so follow me or you'll be getting left behind!"
Praising the lead singer as the werecat was looking at her classmates that were now under her control. Looking behind to see her cousins playing their hearts out on their guitars and Ghidorah who was enjoying himself as each head was smiling at how her cousins were talented during the performance.
"Toralei's the cool cat! Your love is what I must have. So follow me 'cos I'm about to blow your mind!"
Continuing the singing as well listening to the cheers from everyone that Toralei has met when she came to Monster High. From the start they kept their distance due to her reputation for being the bad ghoul of the school, now because of her cousin's band and the earworms helping out with falling for her. Junior and the others didn't notice the sudden appraising since they had just started, though all that Junior could do was look at Ghidorah who looked right back at him.
"Now everyone knows his name, and everybody wants his fame. There's nothing that you can do, once we get our claws on you!"
Ghidorah singing about Junior which only made the lizard glow about the lyrics not noticing more students getting earworms latched onto their heads. Falling for the performance, Junior tried to not get jealous due to him remembering when he performed on stage in the past in ended with him getting attacked. With Ghidorah on stage, they were in love with him and the other werecats.
"Ghidorah's the cool cat! Your crown is what I must have. So follow us or you'll be getting left behind. Ghidorah's the cool cat! Your crown is what I must have. So follow me 'cos I'm about to blow your mind!"
The band now singing about him as suddenly half of the crowd had been given earworms which started to get Junior's attention. Though he notices one of the worms crawling onto his shoulder which he quickly grabs but the worm tries to latch onto his head. The others didn't notice as they suddenly got earworms, the only one that didn't was Clawdeen who saw how Junior collapsed onto the ground.
"Everybody gather 'round. For the ghoulest cat in town, I'm Toralei, there ain't no lie that I got the sharpest claws, paws down. It gets lonely at the top sometimes it's hard to take it. But with the Hissfits, we can't go wrong, together we're gonna make it."
Toralei praising herself and that of the band to encourage them to continue playing as the three did so as well almost getting the whole Clawditorium under their control. Meanwhile in the back, was Clawdeen who helped get the earworm off him as he suddenly noticed one on Clawdeen. Acting on instinct he covered both of Clawdeen's ear which suprised at how close he was to her, but noticed the worm attached to his hands as he removed his hands from her while keeping the worm in his grip. The pair looked at their friends now noticing how everyone had a worm on top of their heads and listening to the band.
"Sorry that I was unkind. Didn't mean to steal your mind, teamwork really holds the key. To endless possibilities."
Suddenly hearing Kevin singing as well taking control of his brother's body to do a drum solo as Toralei and the werecats stopped watching the dragon showing his skills on them. Hitting the cymbals several times generating a spark, Ghidorah hits the two loud enough to brighten stage making the crowd yell in excitement for them.
"Together we are cool cats! And now you know that everything is better when it's you and me! Oh yeah, we're cool cats! So now you know that, together we can bring the school to harmony!"
The entire band singing at the same time as well having monster and Kaiju students going crazy as most of them with wings flew up in the air cheering for the band. Both Clawdeen and Junior tried to get the others to relax but they were acting like their parents and focusing their attention on the Hissfitts, leaving them to leave until they figure out what was going and causing their friends to act like fans for the band.
"Together we are cool cats! And now you know that everything is better when it's you and me. We're cool cats! So now you know that, together we can bring the school to harmony!"
Finishing their performance as the four saw the entire Clawditorium cheering for them and applauding for the band. Purresphone and Meowlody were taken away by how Ghidorah played the drums along with Toralei who was impressed with his performance. Meanwhile for Ghidorah, they were also captivated by what they had just did and hearing the crowd cheering for him. He did notice Junior wasn't amongst the crowd and not cheering for him. While seeing him sneak away infuriated the right head since they let the lizard slip away, he still smiled at how this made him feel weak that he could play music better than him.
Later-Dorm Rooms
Retreating back to their room to figure out what happened to their friends and classmates, while Clawdeen was fortunate enough to have a glass jar to keep the earworm from escaping. Godzilla Junior was pacing back and forth in the room upset that the three headed dragon along that band was able to do a concert and get acknowledgement while for him only lead to getting attacked in the past whenever he tried to do performances in the realm growing up.
"I mean this is messed up, I get that he wants to fight me which is understandable, and I wouldn't mind it. But to get a band to then show off for the school and sing about taking my crown? It's ridiculous."
Suggesting that he didn't mind getting into fights since it was normal for Kaiju's to handle their issues with a fight. Though this was different for him since Junior used music to help escape from his status and to relax, though this was serious since Ghidorah was good with the drums. Meanwhile, Clawdeen was reading up on the bug that in the glass jar.
"So what everyone had in the Clawditorium was an Earworm. Their a unique creepy crawler in the Kaiju realm that can make anyone fall to the owner's music, both special and dangerous it is difficult to remove the manually. The way to remove them safely from the victim is to perform a new song that will force them to leave."
Clawdeen reading one of the books that Mrs. O'Shriek had given them to study the insect life of the Kaiju realm. Hearing the last part made Junior groan at the last part since that was going be a challenge since what they saw seemed impossible.
"Now that is funny. I've grown up in the realm and I've never seen them, especially whenever I performed at places. How is it that Toralei and Ghidorah found them?"
Questioning that while it seemed like a challenge to perform a song that could free their friends, it was still confusing how they found worms like them to use on Monster High. While he was having trouble think about how they could figure this out, Clawdeen heard a sudden tapping at the window which caught her curiosity. Stopping her reading she decided to check out the window to see a surprising sight, which was a lemur type Kaiju who seemed curious as well hanging outside of the ledge.
"That, might be my fault."
Responding to his question which made Godzilla Junior growl towards the lemur Kaiju due to the position they were in. Nervous the lizard looking at him and prepared to shout at him, Clawdeen stopped Junior before he could since this might be a explanation behind this. The half werewolf ghoul lets the lemur into their to see if he could explain about how Toralei and Ghidorah obtained the ear worms and using them on their friends.
"My name is Spiral, I'm a bit of insect collector. When the two heard about me they said that we could hang out if I lend the worms to them. I would have never agreed to it if they were going use them on my classmates."
The lemur Kaiju introducing himself and explaining the reason about how the two were able to obtain the worms. Noticing the look on his face on that he believed the werecat and three headed dragon would be friends with him, it was a lie in order to use the creepy crawlers on the school.
"It's not your fault, those two together aren't exactly the most trusting type. And maybe if you can help get our friends back, we can hang out, without you needing to give us anything."
Clawdeen suggesting to him that if he could help them get back, they're friends and hang out with Spiral when this was over. While the lemur could hear the honesty in her words and hearing about how she was one of the friendliest werewolves in Monster High, he was still nervous since he noticed Junior looking at him at how he accidentally started the problem. Though Clawdeen exchanged a look to Junior convincing him that he could help them in freeing the others from the earworms.
"Fine will hang out, we just need a way to get those worms off our friends."
The lizard agreeing to hang out with Spiral if he could help them get the worms off everyone before they fully submit to the Hissfits. Hearing this coming from the new king of Kaiju made the lemur smile at him becoming friends and he would make new friends with the two.
"It's easy actually, the way to free them is by singing a song that's the opposite of Toralei and Ghidorah's."
Spiral explaining that the song they would need to sing was what would be the opposite of what the Hissfits sang which talked about them and being popular. Taking a moment to think about a song they could use, Junior took a moment to look at his Icoffin and remembering the songs that Clawdeen gave to him during their time at the graveyard.
"Do you know some of these songs?"
Questioning Clawdeen if she ever listened to them which made the werewolf raise an eyebrow at him since she choose those them that could fit someone like him. Noticing how she looked at him, Junior smirked seeing how that was a dumb question since he knew what song they could use to free everyone from the Hissfits and get back Monster High.
Later-Creepateria
Having the entire school underneath their paw and claws, the band was in the Creepateria with the student body and half of Monster High cheering for them. Toralei and her cousins were enjoying the received popularity as they were getting everything from lunches to photos with the band. Meanwhile, Ghidorah was observing everything happening and that each head was taking this sudden turn of becoming famous.
"While I would enjoy us having our foot on Gojira's brat's chest, this is a welcoming change."
The right head stating how he would have enjoyed this attention by taking down Junior, but the other two heads thought otherwise as they enjoyed how everyone was praising them. Ghidorah looked at Toralei and the others who were taking the popularity well couldn't help but sigh in annoyance for Toralei's plan.
"This is, a rather impressive plan Toralei. Especially your cousins being talented musicians."
Complimenting her and the others which made the werecats smile at his compliment seeing that fighting isn't always the way to get popularity. The orange fur werecat smiled at how he was enjoying how the plan was going and the attention they were getting right now.
"Although I'm grateful for the compliment, I know you want to take down Junior. This is just the first step on your road to becoming queen, along us getting the attention that comes to your crowning moment."
Toralei bringing up that in exchange for helping Ghidorah becoming king and ruling over the Kaiju, she and her cousins would be given the same type of attention he would be given to in return. Agreeing to the deal they soon heard the doors open at the far end of the creepateria where the Hissfit band saw none other than Junior and Clawdeen having a new set of clothing resembling rock stars and Spiral in the back waving at the band while having a small box which the earworms came from.
"Then how about you challenge the king if you're not busy."
Clawdeen responding to Toralei's comment about having Ghidorah preparing himself to challenge Junior face to face. Looking at the lizard, he noticed Junior holding his father's guitar and having a expression on his face showing that he was ready to fight him on his terms.
"If he isn't afraid that is, and the fans we've assembled. I don't mind us bringing him down."
Telling Junior if he wouldn't get upset about the performance they did as Junior merely kept a cool head and looked ready to perform right at the werecat band. The earworm students cheered for the Hissfits to challenge Junior and Clawdeen as they moved to the sides to watch the duel between both groups. With them already having their instruments on standby, the werecats got ready as Junior and Clawdeen looked at the four preparing for the song they'd sing in order to free their friends.
"Try it."
Responding to Ghidorah as he held the guitar in hands tight and calmed himself since this song had to be played had to be different to help get the earworms off everyone. Having brought a skeleton speaker to the side and connecting it to his guitar, Clawdeen held her microphone close as well get just as serious he was in getting everyone back.
"I wake up to the sounds of the silence that allows. For my mind to run around with my ear up to the ground, I'm searching to behold the stories that are told.
When my back is to the world that was smiling when I turned."
Beginning to sing as Clawdeen started off slowly building up the moment as she stared at Toralei since she was the one responsible for this act. Junior by her side strung his guitar to back up her singing as the Hissfits began to play their instruments to respond back to the duet's performance.
"Tell you you're the greatest. But once you turn, they hate us."
Holding her note for a second before looking at Junior who hits a cord on his guitar which sent a powerful sound at the students. While it didn't get to everyone, the earworms started to feel the impact and almost about to fall of the student's heads as this got the two's attention, leading them to play more aggressively.
"Oh, the misery. Everybody wants to be my enemy! Spare the sympathy, everybody wants to be my enemy. My enemy!"
The two of them singing about them having people going against them since they both had their own types of moments in their lives. From Clawdeen it was humans running away from her due to her werewolf personality and Junior being chase at to become the new ruler. The Hissfits continued their own type of melody trying to keep the attention of the school on them, however it confused the worms since both bands were making music that got their attention. Junior noticed how the worms were acting up as he decided to take over the singing.
"Your words up on the wall as you're praying for my fall. And the laughter in the halls and the names that I've been called, I stack it in my mind and I'm waiting for the time. When I show you what it's like to be words spit in a mic."
Doing his part in the singing as this effected the earworms to fall right off the monsters and Kaiju's heads and squirm across the floor. Spiral noticing them rushed over to pick them up so they didn't get squished. Clawdeen was surprised by his singing as well it is working and needed to keep going to free everyone.
"Tell you you're the greatest. But once you turn, they hate us!"
The duet singing together as Junior was about to hit another cord, though they were interrupted by the werecat band who played louder than them which made the students turn their attention away from Clawdeen and Junior. Able to match the two's rhythm, the Missfitts were able to keep their fans to them and off the pair making sure they weren't swayed by their music.
"Oh, the misery. Everybody wants to be my enemy! Spare the sympathy, everybody wants to be my enemy. My enemy!"
Toralei and Ghidorah singing the same lyrics as the two leading the remaining earworm victims to pay attention to them. Seeing how the four of them together were formidable, both Clawdeen and Junior had to get control back as the lizard wanted take control of the singing so he could let her singer her part so he could prepare for his part.
"They say pray it away I swear, I'll never be a saint no way. A chair, in the corner is my place I stay I shake, and I think about the powers at play, the powers at play."
Singing to the earworms as her voice was able to turn away from the Hissfits due to her calm tone in which made several earworms fall off of her friends. Seeing how the worms were coming off, the werecat band continued to play louder to try and keep everyone's attention on them. Though it wasn't working as Junior went next into singing.
"And the kids in the dark that were doomed from the start. The child in the basement, face to the pavement. Oh, what a statement, love is embracement. Love is a constant, love is a basis. He cannot be, she cannot be, they cannot be changed. But keep on praying, goodbye."
Stopping for a second which made Toralei and Ghidorah stop their performance thinking that they had won. In which they notice how determined the half werewolf and lizard looked as they took in a deep breath before letting out two powerful roars. Clawdeen was similar to a howl which made the werecats flinch due to her aggressive personality, while Junior's was aimed at Ghidorah expressing that he wasn't going anywhere. Both of them combined was able to have the remaining earworms fall of their friend's heads and leaving Spiral to get them.
"Oh, the misery. Everybody wants to be my enemy! Spare the sympathy, everybody wants to be my enemy. My enemy!"
Finishing their song as the students and faculty confused by what just happened. Seeing this made Toralei nervous since they could get in trouble as well detention, gesturing to the three to head out they were going run to the door. Only to be stopped by Headmistress Bloodgood and Nightmare who weren't happy about being manipulated as she had an earworm in her possession.
"Guess we're band if we're all getting into trouble, right?"
Meowlody asking Toralei and Ghidorah which left the two to groan at how they lost this time to win the school. Meanwhile on the side was Clawdeen and Junior checking up on their friends seeing if everyone was alright as they were confused about what happened. Spiral saw how everything was alright and everyone safe, gathering all the earworms he decided to leave since he still felt like it was his fault for causing them trouble. Instead, he felt a tug from his tail and was brought over by Junior as he noticed the lemur trying to leave the Creepateria.
"Hang on ringtail. Clawdeen made a promise that we'd hang out with you if you'd help us, and I agreed to that as well."
Reminding him about the deal they made as the lemur Kaiju noticed the others looking at him and how Junior was holding his tail as he quickly let's go for Spiral to look at the gang. They saw how the lemur looked at them and felt nervous if they would want to be friends with him, in which they offered to welcome him in and get to know him. Meanwhile for Junior, who was glad that things were handled safely knew that Ghidorah would try another way to bring him down and wouldn't be afraid of teaming up with monster students to do so. If he was going to survive the semester, the others and himself would have to be properly prepared for what else might happen.
