# 3. The Police Captain's Goddaughter

[Author's Note: no magic in this one. Trying to write in the style of the Finder Series sort of. So let me know what you think.]

Harriet Jasmine Potter is Captain Steven Grant Rogers of Brooklyn Police force 's Goddaughter. He had raised her since the of her parents. The only problem that he had was that she was a freelance photographer and sometimes she ended up in trouble. He hoped and prayed that she would never meet Anthony Edward Stark who was known as Tony by his friends.

Steve was aware that Tony Stark was a Billionaire and owned several night clubs as well as CEO of Stark Industries in New York but Steve had his suspicions that Tony Stark was actually the new Head of The Stark Crime Family. However, little did Steve know that his goddaughter could possibly change the life of the Crime Lord of New York.

Meanwhile, somewhere in New York...

Tony Stark was standing in front of a glass window looking out over New York. It was a beautiful sight to see at night.

"Boss, we've seemed to have run into a bit of a problem." A male voice said, "We have managed to stop the pictures from getting published but the photographer won't give up."

Tony turned and looked down at the picture of the young woman who was absolutely beautiful in her own right and said to himself, "Harriet Potter, goddaughter of Captain Steven Rogers; this could be interesting but she could also ruin my business."

Several days later...

Harriet had been given a tip off by someone in her Uncle's Precinct unaware that he was a crooked cop and had a vendetta against her Uncle because he was promoted over him to be Captain.

When she looked through her lens of her camera; she didn't expect to see none other than Tony Stark who looked right at her with a smile on his face.

Harriet was stunned that she didn't notice someone behind her putting a cloth over mouth that had some chloroform on it to make her unconscious.

One of Tony's men had the unconscious young woman over his shoulder and when Tony got into the car; the man placed Harriet in the car then got in himself and they drove off.

"Jarvis?" Tony said.

"Yes, sir?"

"Don't make yourself known but watch." Tony said.

"Of course, sir."

Moments later...

Tony decided it was time to wake her up from nap; so he took a cup of water and doused her with it. He was watched as she began to stir and he was amazed at how beautiful she truly was in all her nude glory.

Harriet woke up and was shocked to see that she couldn't move but what shocked her more is that Tony Stark himself was sitting across from her while she was exposed in front of him naked.

"Stark?" Harriet said confused.

"I thought I would grant you; your wish." Tony said taking a sip of coffee.

Harriet was caught completely off guard; she recalled that her Uncle Steve was was curious as to if Tony Stark was working the underground. However, she had to herself that he was very charming as well as handsome. The question is was Tony Stark a Mob boss or something?

But nothing prepared her for the fact that she getting ready lose her virginity to Tony Stark who is possibly a crime boss; not mention he would be the first time having sex.

Suddenly, she left Tony hold his over her mouth and she breathed in something that was very strong. Then she could feel that her body seemed to feel strange; but as soon as Tony started touching her, her body was reacting to him which was causing her to make erotic noises.

Tony seemed to grin at Harriet's reaction and muttered for only her to hear, "Remember this, Harriet, that I'm the only one to give you the pain, the pleasure, and more."

This continued for a while and then Tony undid the sexual getup that he had done to Harriet.

~The Next Day ~

Harriet woke up and realized that she was in a huge bed then everything came back to her that she blushed that she searched for her clothes then she immediately took a shower.

Secretly, Tony's AI, Jarvis was watching her every move. However, Jarvis heard Harriet say, "I think I have just formed my opinion of Tony Stark compared to some that written about him. 1) He's quite a charmer and very handsome. 2) If he is involved in the underworld of crime then it's none of business. 3) Why was I the one to catch his attention suddenly? Also, I need to get my things that I left when I Tony caught me."

The AI watched as they young woman leave and then sent what he had recorded to his creator.

With Harriet...

She arrived at the place where she had eventually left her things while being kidnapped by Tony Stark. However, she had not expected to stumble across a detective that work with her Uncle talking with a gangster boss.

In a matter of minutes, Harriet thought her life was going to be over until a gunshot or something like a gunshot was fired that she looked up to see Tony Stark standing in front of her holding what appeared to be a unique gun of sorts while holding a cup of coffee in the other hand.

fifteen minutes later...

Captain Rogers arrived to the sight along with his best friend, Sargent Barnes; they saw Tony Stark standing there beside Harriet. Steve and Bucky were curious as to what Stark was saying to Harriet; when they heard, "So the detective was just using me to get at my Uncle?"

"It would seem so." Tony said.

"Yeah, well you use people too." Harriet mumbled.

Tony chuckled.

Steve decided to let his presence be known by clearing his throat.

Both Tony and Harriet turned to see Captain Rogers standing there. Then Steve walked over to Tony and said, "Thanks, Stark for saving my neice, Harriet."

"No problem, Captain." Tony said.

"It's not everyday that she puts herself into situations that are dangerous." Steve said, "Harriet, go over to Bucky and explain what you witnessed exactly."

"Sure, Uncle Steve." Harriet said.

Steve watched as Harriet walked over to Stark before going towards Bucky.

Tony wondered what Steve's neice wanted and she said quietly to him, "Just so you know, you were my first time, Tony." then she walked off towards Bucky.

Tony was completely shocked that he wasn't exactly sure what to say to that. Then he noticed that Steve was standing there looking at him that he said, "Does your neice always like to shock people, Captain?"

Steve looked at Tony and said, "I don't know what she said to you, Tony but she is full of surprises at times. Her parents were killed in front of her when she was one and was raised by her mother's sister until she was at least seventeen then she came here and found me."

Several Weeks Later...

Tony kept running into Harriet and they ended up having more sexual encounters and he even made her have a way to contact him in case she couldn't get a hold of her Uncle.

Tony wasn't exactly sure was happening between him and Harriet but she was driving him crazy. He wondered how Captain Rogers delt with his neice putting herself in dangerous situations.

Apparently, Pepper and the others were noticing a change in Tony since Harriet came into his life but he was still their boss who delt with shady characters a lot as well as maintaining the CEO persona as well as a Crime Boss.

Suddenly, Jarvis alerted Tony once again that Harriet had managed to get herself into a situation but the only difference this time was that Captain Rogers was involved.

Tony knew that that couldn't be good and immediately grabbed his unique gun and had Rhodey, Clint, and Happy to come with him.

When they arrived; they saw Harriet frozen with a gun in her hand in complete shock at what she had just done and Captain Rogers was laying on the concrete bleeding out. Tony went over to calm Harriet and told Clint to call an ambulance for Captain Rogers. Clint did as he as he was told.

"Harriet?" Tony said.

Harriet looked at Tony and dropped the gun. Tony noticed that Harriet was shaking and he walked up to her and held her close hoping that it would help her.

Steve opened his eyes long enough to see Tony trying to calm Harriet because she was apparently in shock about what had just happened.

Time Skip *

Tony had decided to have Harriet train with a gun just in case he couldn't get to her in time or if her Uncle couldn't get to her. However, it had shocked him at how quickly she had picked it up.

One day, Tony had been down in his lab because he decided to create something for Harriet when Jarvis alerted him that Harriet had arrived.

Tony made his way up when Harriet met him a halfway at the stairs and hugged him.

"Harriet?" was all Tony could say.

"Tony, I don't know what to do. I mean I have faced my parents' killer multiple times but this is whole different ballgame. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate what you and Uncle Steve as well as Bucky are doing from me. I just don't know why trouble always finds me. That's why I am scared because the people that I care about always seem to get hurt around me." Harriet said.

Tony had no idea what to say at hearing that and returned the hug because he knew that she needed the hug.

"Tony?" Harriet said.

"Hm?" Tony said.

"I'm happy that I met you. I don't care if you're a Crime Boss or a CEO because you're still human. I just don't know where I fit in exactly." Harriet said.

Tony looked at Harriet and said, "I'm not exactly what is going on here but you have turned my world upside down, Harriet. And I believe that in itself I think is a good thing; I also know that you're Uncle enjoys having you in his life as well."

Harriet nodded in understanding.

Tony decided to pick up Harriet bridal style and carry her up the stairs; which she allowed because she trusted him. She even snuggled up to him a bit which he chuckled a bit. They also talked a bit while Tony was carrying her up the stairs.

Tony made it to the living room of his Pent House and was surprised to see Captain Rogers and Sargeant Barnes along with his men talking. Then everyone was quiet when he appeared with Harriet in his arms. They watched as he walked over to the sofa and sat down.

Pepper walked over and covered them both with a blanket; in which Tony thanked her.

"Tony?"

Tony looked up to see Captain Rogers and said, "Yes, Captain Rogers?"

"I really don't know how you two actually met because Harriet just said that you saved her life multiple times while I was busy being at the Precinct. Sometimes, I wonder if I was living upto my duties as her godfather." Steve stated.

Tony sighed and said, "Captain Rogers, I think that you need to trust your goddaughter more but from what I have witnessed in meeting her; she's delt with a lot before she met you and it has been hard for her to adjust to being in America. However, she seems to act all tough because she's afraid of disappointing you."

Steve was shocked to hear that and said, "Why would she do that? I mean to me, she has a lot of courage and faces danger head on regardless of the situation. She would make a good cop but I understand that she enjoys photography more. Sometimes, I wonder if I'm a disappointment to her as a godfather/uncle considering that the man that her Aunt Petunia married was a very plump man and they both hated Harriet. "

Tony started to get angry at what Steve had just said about Harriet's mother's sister.
