Frozen Heart Part 2
Chapter 11: Kristoff: Hard Work
Kristoff worked almost all day and night. The Sultan's order of six hundred tons of pure ice blocks was an order that could only come from an insane man. Giving the circumstances that had left the Sultan insane, Kristoff decided to let it go, and worked hard both day and night, to the point where he thought he was going to break his back, but he kept on working. As a master ice harvester, he could usually just sit in his office with a hot cup of tea, but he chose not to do so.
The reason was simple enough.
His men respected him. He had earned the respect of his men, and he did not want to lose it again.
"Come on, we have to lift these blocks!" he said, pointing to two ice harvesters, called Funk and Olav, whom were doing nothing at that moment.
"Okay Kristoff!" they responded as one and ran over to Kristoff.
His men had called the former master ice harvester the boss, but the harvesters under Kristoff referred to him by his name and Kristoff preferred it that way. He wanted his hardworking people to know that he was just as hardworking as they were, though he had higher responsibilities and meetings to attend to sometimes.
After lifting the block of ice, Olav asked, "Kristoff, by the will of the queen, how are we to carry all this ice?"
"The Sultan sent a letter to me about it. In the letter, he said he would like to send his support when it comes to transporting the ice, but he needs a go ahead from her majesty before he can send her workers, or it would look like he was declaring war on Arendelle."
"He might be a little insane, but at least he has not lost his mind completely," Funk said.
"So, is it true then that the Sultan's son died?"
"Yes, the son jumped off the balcony of the palace!" Kristoff answered.
"How many sons does the Sultan have?"
"The Sultan has one son left, oh, there you are Sven!"
The Reindeer Sven had been Kristoff's loyal friend for many years, so Kristoff had learned to read the reindeer's thoughts by looking at Sven's body language and hearing the sounds Sven made.
"Hi Kristoff. Have you missed me?" the reindeer asked.
Sven was a strong reindeer and was a force of nature, and he was always helping transporting the blocks of ice from one place to another.
"I was wondering where Olaf went?"
"I think he went down to the beach." Kristoff answered.
Kristoff and Sven were always together, but Kristoff knew that Sven was missing that snowman. It was all very curious, Kristoff thought to himself. The snowman Olaf had come alive after Elsa had built him using her magic. Every time Kristoff met Olaf, the little snowman asked for a warm hug.
The harvester asked Kristoff, "Have you sent a letter to her grace about the offer from the Sultan."
"Yes, I send Mike over to meet her; he will be back in a couple of hours."
"It will probably be many more hours before he comes back. Right now, he is probably acting hurt as if his back is close to breaking apart and it gives him an excuse to find a girl in a brothel to enjoy, and if so, can you send me next time?"
The other harvesters who had listened in to the conversation laughed their asses off, as did Kristoff and Sven.
"Maybe you should visit a brothel yourself Kristoff or what?" Funk asked with a knowing smile on his lips. Kristoff stopped laughing and Funk realized he had said something bad.
"So it happens that I actually have a girl."
"Really…?" Funk asked to try to get on Kristoff good side again. "Who is it?"
"Her name is Anna, her majesties sister."
"You sure are lucky; she is a very beautiful woman, with her red hair and all! How is she like?"
Kristoff cheeks turned red.
"She is the most amazing woman ever," Kristoff said with a smile on his face.
He meant every word of it. He loved Anna so much, and he wondered what he would do if Anna were hurt and did not recover because of her injuries. He had fallen in love with Anna doing their journey to find Elsa, but he had only realized that he loved her when they had gone to his family of trolls for guidance. This is where he realized that he had been jealous of Hans, but his troll family had raised him right and he had taken Anna back to the castle, so Hans could try to save her with a kiss. Kristoff had used all his willpower to hold himself back from kissing her, since that is what he wanted to do back then.
It had turned out that Hans was a brutal man who only wanted power, and his schemes had almost cost Anna her life. If she were dead, nothing, not even the Queen, would have been able to hold him back from strangling Hans to death. It was Anna's unconditional love, that made her survive the ordeal and Kristoff had been the happiest man ever since that incident.
Another harvester said, "Well, Anna´s sister, her grace, is also a beautiful woman herself. Lucky man who ends up marrying her!"
Another continued: "Well, that man can certainly look forward to his wedding night and that more than any other man!"
"Why is that?" a third harvester asked.
"I bet her pussy tastes like vanilla ice cream!"
All the harvesters who had been holding ice blocks were dropping them because they were laughing so hard that Kristoff was sure the queen could hear it all the way back in Arendelle.
"Oh God" he thought to himself. "The queen is going to kill me for this."
His thoughts returned to his love back home in Arendelle. To him, Anna was queen, and her voice was like sweet music to his ears. Although they had decided to take it easy in the first place, he thought back to the day they had done it in Anna's bedroom. He had never experienced anything like that before. Having a beautiful woman suck his dick was probably one of the best things that had ever happened to him, but the best thing was that she was his and he was hers.
Harvesting ice and lifting it up in the carts was no longer difficult, and Kristoff enjoyed his work, not only because he spent time with friends, but also because lifting all that ice, helped build his body, and he enjoyed it when Anna looked at his body with an almost worshipping look in her eyes.
He also had the biggest urge to hold her close and say the words, "Do you want to be my wife?"
He hoped she would say yes, and they could live happily ever after.
He did not want to marry her just because of her looks and her ability to please him, but it was for her personality that he wanted her. Anna was also one, if not the bravest person he had ever met in his entire life. She had been standing between death and her sister as Hans had tried to cut her sister's head off with his sword, but all three of them had survived the ordeal.
"We all survived the ordeal and Elsa learned how to fully control her powers," he thought to himself.
Kristoff wondered what would happen to Hans.
He had to be dead!
Elsa sent a representative to the Southern Isles to ensure that Hans met his fate at the gallows. He felt it was a pity he could not be there to pull the lever himself and end that monstrous being of a man. He also wondered what Elsa and Anna thought of Hans.
Elsa insisted that Hans was to hang from the gallows, but Anna had never been a vengeful person who wanted the death of others. Not to his knowledge anyway. Anna had her revenge, when she hit Hans in his face in retribution for all the terrible deeds he had done, but now his fate had been in Elsa's hands.
Elsa needed to get Hans killed so it could serve as a lesson to all people that she was a fair and lovely queen but was not to be trifled with.
"Anna was not the queen, but does she also share her sister's need for justice this way?" Kristoff thought to himself.
"Is there something wrong?" Sven asked him as he stood next to Kristoff.
Kristoff shook his head to the reindeer because he did not want anyone to know he was secretly talking to a reindeer, even though Sven was a smart friend. It had been many years since the two had become friends.
Kristoff's mother died shortly after giving birth to him, leading his father to insanity and suicide!
Kristoff had just been a baby back then, and he had never had the chance to get to know his parents.
Because of that, he really did not miss them, though from time to time he wished he had known them. He was very young the first time he met Sven. He had decided to explore his surroundings when he had heard an animal howl for help. The sound was almost impossible to hear because it came from Sven, who was just a little reindeer back then.
Sven had fallen into a hole in the ice and was struggling to be above water, but the reindeer lost energy quickly and Kristoff saw that Sven would not make it!
He ran as quickly as possible on the ice and reached Sven in time, rescuing him from the hole of death with cold water in it.
Kristoff and Sven had become best friends after that incident.
"Oh, hey Sven, can I have a warm hug?"
Olaf was back.
Kristoff, and the other ice harvesters were watching as Sven jumped up and down, glad to see his friend again!
"Oh hey, Olaf, what are you doing here?" Kristoff asked as the little snowman approached him.
"I just wanted to talk with you Kristoff."
"Olaf, if you would like to follow me inside our headquarters so we can talk."
"Okay!" the little snowman answered and followed Kristoff inside the building, which was a larger stone house.
Kristoff sat in a chair with a cup of tea and offered Olaf some tea as well, but the snowman declined the offer.
"So, Olaf, what have you been up to lately?
"It has been a long time since I last saw you. Right now, I am just enjoying my time at the beach in my little cabin!"
"You like it right?" Kristoff asked, hoping the snowman liked it.
"I absolutely love my home Kristoff, but I have to say, you have to visit me more from time to time!"
"I know I should Olaf, but right now we have a big deal that I have to get through with first, before anything else."
"How much ice did he want again?" Olaf asked.
"He wanted six hundred tons of ice and for what I do not know, but I have seen the gold, so the deal is real enough!"
"Yes, I have heard some rumors from the people that Sultan Ali's son committed suicide!" Olaf said.
"He did, but a rumor has it that dark magic may have been involved in his son's death, but that does not matter to us. The only thing that matters to us is seeing this deal through, and it can take a lot of time!"
"I am pretty sure you will see this through Kristoff, and if the Sultan decides to have any other thoughts on this deal, then he will pay it anyway, right?"
"You can bet he has to pay for our hard work Olaf. You can bet on that."
Chapter 12: Rapunzel: A Hungry Student
The Sun warmed her face and a breeze from the ocean helped her stay cool in the hot summer weather. She was sitting outside on the terrace with her mother and were receiving lessons on what it meant to be a member of the royal family and what responsibilities that came with such work.
"You have to understand this my girl that the people down on the streets are your people and you have to make sure they are happy and have a bright future ahead of them. Calm people are equal to a quiet kingdom; you must never forget that no matter what."
"I will remember that mother;" Rapunzel said and felt the wind play with her pink dress.
"Your dad and I, when we found out you were still alive, that day you were standing outside the castle doors, we were so happy to know you were alive, that we decided to let you follow your own heart. In most other cases, a person of royal blood must throw away their own desires for what is best for the people."
"But why? Why not marry for love?"
The lessons she received were both informative, but sometimes shocking to her as well, but her curiosity for this new life of hers made her ask so many questions."
"Because blood runs deep and if there was to be a kingdom out there that decided to attack this one, a marriage can reunite the kingdoms to one so that no innocent blood is spilled."
"Then I should not have married Flynn? Have I made a great mistake?"
"As I said, we have allowed you to follow your heart's desire, but if you have children, it is possible that they will not have the same opportunity, which is what makes our feudal system work, but sometimes it also mean giving up on those we love the most. If it did not work in its current state, we would be in constant warfare with others who may have wished to conquer us, and should we be attacked, we would all be in very serious trouble my dear."
"Blood marriages are thus a way of balancing the scales for all things?"
"Yes, my girl and that is an important lesson to learn, and you must never forget it."
Rapunzel was not one who could easily forget but learning how the world worked and realizing that she were allowed to marry the one man she loved, she was in awe, and she felt like the luckiest person in the world.
She asked, "What about Flynn?"
"What about him?"
"What will his role be, will he someday be a king?"
"No, in other kingdoms he would probably get the title of king, but that is not what he is going to be here for our customs are a little different."
"How different?"
"Not much, but when you become a queen one day, Flynn will be consort to the queen, a man who will have royal duties, but you as the queen will have all the important ones."
Rapunzel was thinking of Flynn and wondered what Flynn would say when he learned he would not get the title of king even though they were married.
She asked, "Mom did you marry out of love or was it never up to you to decide?"
"It was an arranged marriage that I first was not too happy about. That was until I learned that I was going to marry a king, and I thought this marriage probably was not going to be that bad, but I have to admit that it took a while before your dad and I really gave ourselves to each other for that was a more difficult task."
"That I could imagine."
Rapunzel asked, "What if something happened that would upset our people and they suddenly was out for blood. What if they stormed our gates?"
"In that case, my beloved daughter they must be cut down where they stand, but people will hate you for it if that is what is needed. You see, peasants and common folk are very emotional people who do not think with logic, and they do not have the same education that we have, so it is your duty to see that their feelings do not run out of control."
"Why are they not educated then?"
"Make no mistake my darling, some are educated, but only the few can read and write, but I think these are lessons enough for today. It is teatime."
Rapunzel loved teatime most when it came to specific events of the day. While she was still living in the tower, she had the tower to herself when Gothel was not there. Now duties and meetings with high and low people were now daily work for her. Her schedule was such that the servants entered her room and woke her up in the morning with breakfast for her and Flynn consisting mainly of the same type of food.
Bread, eggs, bacon, small sausages, and a glass of juice to wash it all down. Then she had to get dressed and then she got lessons from either her mother or her father, and those lessons consisted mainly of her asking them questions about what it meant to be a king or a queen, in her case both, when one day she would have the power and influence of a king.
Then there were other kinds of lessons like history lessons, math lessons and astronomy as well, and she learned quickly. After she had been locked up in the tower, and only had been fed lies, made her hungry for the truth. She learned about tactics in military warfare, and she had even boarded a real military ship.
All that knowledge was to prepare her for life and the eventual duties, when her mother and father were no longer around.
After the lessons came teatime, her favorite time of day when she, her mother, her father, and Flynn met in the same room for tea and cake, all as a family.
Then more lessons would follow, and then it was time for dinner and then she could do what she wanted to do.
Flynn and her dad were waiting for them as they arrived.
The king spoke, "So there you are, ladies, we thought you had taken a left turn at the wrong hall."
"Ha-ha, you are so funny" the queen replied.
"I am right?"
Rapunzel asked, "How long have you been here? Have you eaten cookies without us?"
Flynn said, "No, we would never do that."
Rapunzel said nothing but smiled and sat down on the couch, looked at the table, and saw that the fine porcelain was in use and the chocolate cookies were waiting for them.
The king said, "I was just talking to Flynn about your cousins Anna and Elsa, Rapunzel. I said that after the winter in the summer episode, things have all returned to normal, whatever that means these days."
It had been a shock for Flynn and Rapunzel to see Elsa unleash her powers that way, and when the harbor froze to ice, no ship could leave Arendelle again.
Rapunzel and Flynn was given a guest room for themselves in the days that followed, waiting for news on Elsa and Anna and what was happening between them. They had seen from a window, how Anna was transformed into an ice statue, and Rapunzel had felt her heart break, when she saw them suffer as they did, but the curse had been lifted and instead the sisters had lived, and everyone could go home again if they wanted to.
The only thing that put a damper on the celebrations was that a young mother and her child had frozen to death in the cold winter, and the woman's husband had disappeared. It made Rapunzel feel at odds with Elsa and Anna, as both Rapunzel and Flynn had seen them, skating together almost as if they did not have a care in the world despite everything that had just happened.
Rapunzel's mind were filled with questions. What did the people of Arendelle thoughts on Elsa? Those who had survived this ordeal would probably have resented those two sisters over the fact that there were two dead frozen people, someone had to pay for that, and Rapunzel would not be surprised at all, if people wanted both sisters dead.
She had a feeling that both sisters at some point was going to reap what they had sown, and it was not a day for them to look forward to.
Rapunzel said, "Normal and normal. No things that happened back then were not normal. I cannot shake the feeling that this is far from over."
The Queen looked at her and asked: "What makes you say this?"
"The two people who died, I do not think it will be easily forgotten."
Flynn said: "Rapunzel is right. I think some people will see Elsa as a dangerous individual or a witch to be more precise. Maybe they will see her as a direct enemy that must be destroyed. There are just so many unknowns right now."
The king looked at his wife and said: "The letter of support we send to them, it must have arrived by now."
She replied, "Yes, but do you think they will write back to us? I have to admit that the whole affair with them is quite complicated."
Flynn said," What can we do about it? If Elsa has these powers that she has and cannot control them."
Rapunzel said, "It is true, I hate to say it, but Elsa could be a serious threat if she actually decided to use her powers to go on the offensive and attack us or anyone else. It could literally be a bloodbath if she ever turned evil."
The King got up from his seat, walked over to a window and looked out at the calm blue sea and then he said, "I have a feeling that there will be no peace in Arendelle just like that. I only hope Elsa knows what she is doing and no matter what happens; we must send her moral support. I think she might need it now, and then we need to keep a watchful eye on her kingdom.
"Spies?" The Queen suggested.
"No, I do not think that will be necessary, but just the latest news from Arendelle. Also rumors, so we may know what is said in Arendelle."
Rapunzel took a chocolate cookie and thought about her future. When she oversaw the Kingdom of Corona, how would she deal with her cousins herself? Would she be kind with them or try to destroy them before they became a threat to her own people?
She was sure everyone in the room thought the same thing: Elsa was a possibility in many more ways than one. What if someone were to marry Elsa and have a child with her, would that child have the same powers as Elsa had and what if that child or Elsa were used as weapons? There were no telling of how many innocent people that could be killed in a short amount of time.
This was the danger that the people of all the five kingdoms could be facing, and there were no telling what the future held for now. Would all the other kingdoms declare war, or would they seek peace through negotiation and trade?
So many questions, and it always seemed that new ones were added to the pile.
The King asked, "By the way, my beloved daughter, have you and Flynn opened all your wedding gifts?"
"No not yet father."
"Well, when are you going to finish with that?"
"There are so many that it would literally take days for us to finish opening presents."
"Well, if you do not want to open them then I will."
They all laughed at that, but then the king said: "I mean it you know!"
Chapter 13: Zerah: The End Is The Beginning
Her eyes slit in and out of focus, as she took another beating from the master torturer Karim, who seemed to enjoy his work a little too much. They had found her snoring on top of the heartless guard, they had dragged her to a new cell, and now multiple guards had been posted around it as no one was allowed to be left alone with her.
The sultan had been very clear in his orders: "She is a witch, and she will bewitch you, so you must be ever vigilant. Do not lower your guards no matter what. If she begs for water or food, she will get the usual: water and bread when it is dinnertime for the prisoners. I want her to eat. I want her to stay alive, I want her to confess her crimes against my family, and then I want her dead. My honor demands it, so make her talk and give me some answers!"
She had no answers to give. She no longer had the right to her own body and to her own mind.
Her master owned her.
She knew that.
Now, she was just a plaything that could be discarded as if she was nothing at all. She wanted death, but death was apparently to busy baking chocolate cookies instead of just ending her life, and somewhere in the back of her mind, she found that quite funny and she started laughing.
"What is so funny?" Karim asked.
Zerah responded: "Everything!"
Then she started laughing for real and the laughter came from deep within what used to be herself.
"If you do not stop laughing, I will cut your face!" Karim said and picked up the biggest knife he had.
On a table close by lay countless of knifes. Some were big, some were long some were dull and slow, and some were as sharp as the sharpest of swords.
All of them had Zerah´s name on it, and she could do to escape.
"He will not let me die. Zuldrak will not let me die. There is nothing that you can do to end my life for I am owned already, and it is not for you to take my life."
A soft voice asked: "So, it is Zuldrak who is the person behind my son's death?"
Scheherazade was not a tall woman, but she made an impression on everyone she met.
Karim asked: "My queen what are you doing here in the prison?"
"I want to know who is responsible for my son's death. That is the only thing I want to know."
She entered the cell and went over to Zerah.
"Is Zuldrak the name of the one who killed my son? That killed my little boy?"
Somewhere deep inside Zerah she wanted to scream yes, she wanted to tell her the truth, but the words would not come out, and all she could say was: "You will find out!"
Scheherazade looked at her, but she did not look upon her with hard uncaring eyes, but she looked at Zerah as if she was looking at a book written in a language she could not understand.
Karim said: "I think this woman has lost her mind."
"I think she has been brainwashed!" Scheherazade replied.
"Brainwashed or not brainwashed, did you hear that we found one of the guards dead? His heart has been cut out."
Scheherazade looked at Zerah.
"I would wish you would tell me the truth Zerah. At least to give a grieving mother some peace in her soul."
"I am not me any longer!" Zerah replied. "I am no one. I am but his instrument. I am his doing. I am his will."
Zerah´s eyes were going out of focus again and started her hysterical laugh again, but Scheherazade did not move from where she was.
Zerah felt her master in her mind as it chanted: "Kill them all, poison them and kill them."
From far away she could hear Scheherazade say: "We will leave her alone for now and come back later. There is something, which I need to take care of. Something I need to research."
"But my queen…!"
"I know you mean good Karim, but I have a feeling that she was telling the truth, the first time around. Now I must see to that my husband does not make any more stupid decisions."
They left Zerah alone in her cell, and removed the knives so she could not get to them. The guards where to stand guard outside the prison.
The hours went by and Zerah was asleep.
In her dreams, she was eating his heart once again and felt her mind getting lost to the creatures will.
Zuldrak was her master now and Zerah would not betray her master.
She would never do this. She had to love her master more then she loved anything else.
The door by the end of the hallway swung open, and Sultan Ali came marching down the hallway flanked by twenty guards, the elite, the best of the best of warriors he had.
The Sultan looked like a wreck. The bags under his eyes were big and deep, and he looked more like a wreck and in need of sleep.
He stopped up in front of her cell.
"Citizen Zerah. It has come to my attention that you still refuse to tell us all about your master. As Scheherazade has told me that you are brainwashed, I no longer believe that we can get anything else out of you. Because of that, I have decided to sentence you to death for the murder of my son. You shall be hung by the neck until dead, and all gods of the world, can have mercy on your soul for I have none to give."
Upon hearing, these words Zerah laughed and said: "You can do whatever you want to do to me, but in the end it will not matter. My master will not let me die."
"We will see about that!" the sultan said and looked at his guards. "Grab her and move her to the execution scaffold, where her life will come to an end today."
There was no fear and no anger in Zerah, for she knew that her master would not let her die. The cell was opened up and they grabbed hold of her arms and started to march her out of the dungeon.
It was a long walk, but it did not feel like it took so long. She was walking with steady steps, and she was smiling. Her master would not let her die. He would never let her be hurt.
They entered the main hall from the dungeon and Zerah saw the people waiting, without really seeing anything at all. Many eyes fell upon Kasim, the eldest and now the only remaining son of the sultan and his queen left alive.
He was a tall young man and many a woman was looking at him when he passed by. His manners were second to none, but he had yet to prove himself as a leader. Yet, Zerah could care less about him, for he was nothing next to her master.
For Zerah the world was a cruel hard place, where you lived and you died, but now there was the master as well.
As Zerah walked past the young Kasim, she could smell him and he smelled nice, and just for a fleeting moment, the fog within her mind cleared away and she regained control of herself.
Zerah broke away from the guards and she ran towards Kasim, threw herself at him, and whispered in desperation to him: "Kill me, kill me before I hurt anyone else for what your father has planned will not work!"
Some people within the hall were screaming and crying as the guards pulled Zerah of Kasim, who looked like a ghost had just visited him.
"Guards do your job better and make sure she does not make a run for it!" commanded the sultan as Zerah was taken back in the line.
Zerah saw that they had built the execution platform just outside the gates where a mob of people had formed to witness the execution.
Zerah was smiling.
"You are all fools!" Zerah thought to herself as she was let over to the platform.
Zerah saw Scheherazade and Kasim talking with one another, their eyes were not looking at her or even seemed to follow the spectacle before them. To Zerah they seemed to be talking about her, and the master, but she could be wrong.
The truth was that Zerah did not care anymore as she heard the voice within her mind: "Kill them. Poison them. Revolution! Revolution!
"This is going to be fun!" Zerah said to herself as she was led up the platform, and the noose were tightened around her neck.
Then the sultan stood upon the platform and addressed the people around it: "My citizens. It is with deep regret that I stand before you today not in a show of good mood, but one of sorrow and anger. As a society, we must protect what we have and identify that which will seek to take what we want to protect. We must protect one another because there are no one else that will do so. We are five kingdoms, and the four others will gladly attack us if they saw that they could get away with it. I do what I can to protect us all. You among you, where age has sat its sign upon you as well as wisdom, you remember my father, a great man in his own way. King Malik, my father, did what he could to protect this kingdom and its people, and with him, it was always clear. That he was a leader that loved his people. I now walk in his footsteps; I do what I can to keep this kingdom from falling apart. Yet, I have found my family become the target of a conspiracy of the foulest kind. The kind that gladly kills little children. Now look upon this woman with the noose around her neck. She is one of the most dangerous of enemies, for she is a fanatic. We have begged and we have asked her to explain why our child Razul had to die. My wife and I had hope that with time this criminal Zerah would come to her senses and abandon the madness she has given herself over too. This has been to no avail, and it is therefore with a heavy heart, that I have decided to end her life. As a fanatic to a cause, we know nothing about, and she refuses to say anything about it, even under torture, it is therefore for the best that we send her from this life to the next. We give our hope that God, in his endless love and forgiveness, for his greatness knows no bounds, will forgive this criminal, and heal her soul. As for us, we must all strive to be better and do our best all the time, to protect our land to protect our honor and always fight the good fight. Zerah´s master will be hunted down and will be brought to justice. May God be with all of you and may God have mercy on your soul Zerah. Now, let us pray as we prepare to send Zerah into the next world!"
Everyone around the platform were silent as they all folded their hands in silent prayer. Only Scheherazade and Kasim did not participate in this action but seemed to be arguing with whispers, as if they were debating if the execution was to be stopped or not.
"Do you have any final words?" the sultan said, as the prayers slowly ended.
"No final words no."
"In that case…"
"I do however want to tell you something. You and your family are dead!"
With these words, the lever was pulled and she fell and came to a sudden stop.
Chapter 14: Hans: A Prisoner Seeking An Escape
Hans sat in his dungeon cell, planning his takeover of the Southern Isles.
"Could it really be true?" he said to himself several times. "That there are guards loyal to me alone?"
He had been brought before his father and brothers, not in chains, but like a free man that had been beaten many times.
"Who hurt you, Hans?" King Walter asked.
"Three men on the ship that brought me here father."
"You have not found death on that ship Hans, but now you must tell me what happened in Arendelle, there has been some rumors that has come to our shores with faster ships, than the one that brought you here."
"Everything I did in Arendelle, I did to protect its people from the queen, who froze everything."
His brothers looked at him with disdain. Hans imagined that his brothers in that moment right in that hall were plotting his death. Alexander was dead, so only eleven of his brothers stood before him.
He looked his brothers directly in the eyes.
"Heinrich, Frederick, Thomas, Chris, Michael, Hannibal, Charlie, Funk, Gerhardt, Rene and Andy, they are all my goals," Hans thought.
Heinrich, now the eldest brother, spoke: "What do you mean when you say the Queen froze everything?"
Hans continued: "I arrived in Arendelle and met the Queen's sister Anna, whom I spent a lovely evening with. It turned out that the Queen herself has the ability to manipulate cold and after threatening her sister, me, and everyone else in the ballroom, Queen Elsa ran away, but not before, she threatened her own people first."
There was a complete silence in the throne room.
"Anna tried to find her again and gave me the responsibility of the whole kingdom. I helped her people as well as I could. When Anna did not return, I set out on a rescue attempt to retrieve both Anna and the Queen herself. It was a quick journey, and we were able to pick up both sisters. Anna was dying because her sister had cast a curse upon her heart."
The brothers whispered to each other this time, and King Walter looked at Hans in disbelief.
"The queen broke out of her confinement and tried to get away. To stop the winter and to save everyone, I was going to kill Queen Elsa, but Anna intervened because Elsa had cast a spell upon her, a spell upon the very sibling she was trying to kill. Elsa controls Arendelle, as she has used dark magic upon her own people!"
If Hans thought that his lie was going to bring his family to his side, then he was in for a bitter disappointment.
"Hans are you taking us for a bunch of fools and sheep?" asked Gerhardt. "Do you really think for a moment that we will believe this outrageous story you tell us?"
"It is the truth. I swear it!"
"You were never good at telling lies little brother, what makes you think you have become better at it. We in here, your family, knows you best little brother." Hannibal said. "But this time we are not falling for it because we have already heard another version of these events and they are far more believable."
"Bring her in now," Walter said with a smile on his face, which Hans could only see as a smile speculating on what kind of sadism Hans would go through later.
Hans turned around and was surprised to see Gerda walking towards his father.
"Have you heard everything my son has said?" Walter asked Gerda.
"Yes, I have your majesty."
"How did you get her so fast?" Hans asked, knowing he was done for.
"Queen Elsa asked me to board the fastest of her ships and make sure justice was done in the Southern Isles. My ship arrived two days before your ship did."
She looked at Hans and sent him a look that could kill.
"Your Majesty, Hans announced his plan to take over the kingdom of Arendelle to Anna, whom he left for dead, but Anna survived it. Your son is a manipulating scumbag, and the Queen has sent me to make sure he meets his end at the gallows."
"I was thinking of using the Iron Maiden!" Said Michael. "It is more painful and more effective."
"No, let us use the Brazen Bull!" Gerhard said. "That would be the perfect device to use!"
All the brothers agreed with this idea and even King Walter nodded approvingly, but Gerda interrupted them: "Sorry, but Queen Elsa insisted that Hans be hanged for his crimes, and I expect him to hang within a few days."
Hans watched his mother come into the throne room and sit down next to the king. Something in Hans´s frozen heart was moving as he looked at his mother. He had not seen or spoken to her since that day in the bedroom where she had tried to take advantage of him, a memory still fresh in his mind. He saw that his mother was leaning against Walter and whispering something in his ears, and as Walter's face became a mask of pure evil and hate, it could not be good for Hans.
King Walter got up from his throne and looked at Hans. To Hans, it seemed as if Walter was trying his best to control his own anger.
"My wife just told me that you raped her Hans."
With those words said, his brothers were ready to kill him as each of them took out their swords and was ready to attack him; their hatred was shining out of their eyes. Hans could not believe that the lying witch would go so far as to blame him for something he had not done. He really hated his mother at this point, and he could feel himself lose control of his emotions.
He stared at all his family members and Gerda, feeling a rush of adrenaline pumping through his body. He felt that his entire body was ready to fight; he could feel his heart beating even faster.
He was calm, or that was what he looked like for people watching him now and he spoke: "I am being sentenced to death for doing the only thing that was the right thing to do in that situation." He looked at his mother and said, "Mother, look at me."
His mother looked him straight in the eyes, a smile on her red lips, which made Hans think back to the moment she had wrapped her legs around him and kissed him.
"You have never been a mother to me; you have spent all your time looking out for my other brothers but forgot to give me just a bit of kindness. Now you sit and whisper lies to my father, and you pretend to care even though you were the one that said, that you never liked this family to begin with."
"HOW DARE YOU!" Gerhard yelled and was ready to kill Hans at that moment, but Hans did not pay attention to him.
"Well mom, before I kill you, I will kill every single person in this room, and after I do, I will have so many men rape and strangle you to death. Now that is a promise from me to you!"
His brothers, Gerda and King Walter all looked at Hans as if he had gone insane.
"He is mentally disturbed," Michael said.
"He has gone insane!" Chris yelled.
Gerda had taken five steps away from Hans.
"Guards! Guards!" The king shouted.
The guards moved into the throne room.
"Get this dirty, filthy degenerate out of here!" The king cried out.
Hans had come to himself in the dungeon cell.
His brain felt five sizes too big for his skull. He had been knocked unconscious by the guards.
Out of the dark, he heard a voice call out to him: "Hans…"
"Who is there?" Hans asked again.
"Hans."
"Who is there? Show yourself!"
"Shut the fuck up!" the dungeon guard yelled out. "If I hear another word out of your mouth, you will live to regret it, but who am I kidding? You are not going to live much longer!"
The guard walked away laughing loudly.
"Hans. It is time. Plan!"
"This voice" Hans thought. "It must belong to the mysterious man's lord. Is he a magician?"
"Plan and strike!"
That is what he had been doing ever since he got into the dungeons. The guard would come every day, with a plate of food and torment Hans.
"Here," he said. "Here is your food."
The guard placed the food just outside his cell out of reach. The plate consisted of a little bit of bread with butter. The guard placed a goblet of water next to the food. Hans could feel his mouth salivating, but there was no way to reach it, but he did not want to give the guard the pleasure of getting down in the dirt and trying to reach for it.
Instead, he walked to the door and said, "Hey fuck face, come over here."
The guard resting on the chair went over to his cell.
"I am going to kick you for saying that to me!" the guard said.
"You know I will not ask for the food, but I will give you a chance. A chance to give me the food right now. If you have not, do you have a family?"
"If you think…!"
"I will crucify all of them then. Every one of them and before you even DARE to do anything stupid, you must ask yourself, is it a good idea to screw with Hans Westergaard of the Southern Isles, because it is honestly not a good idea. I will make you the proud father of a dead family then! Now you will give me the food and get out of my sight or you family will die I will promise you that!"
Before the furious guard could say anything, a sound came from the spiral staircase. The mystery man had returned.
"What is going on here?" he asked as he watched the confrontation between the guard and Hans.
"Nothing," the guard said.
"Open this door right away, on the King's Orders!"
The guard paused for a moment, but then he opened the door to the prison cell and the mystery man approached Hans.
"So, Hans, is the plan ready?"
"It is."
"Tell me then."
He did. All the details, all the names he could think of and more.
When he was done, the mystery man said, "My name is Miko. Do not worry Hans. It will not be long now."
Miko had noticed the food on the plate as he approached the cell. He bent over, picked up the plate and goblet and gave them both to Hans.
"One more thing, my friend," Hans said. "This guard, find out where his family lives."
The guard froze in place, almost as if Elsa had frozen him in ice.
"Please lord Hans. Please do not harm my family!"
"You should have thought about that, when you had the chance, but now I am afraid that you have made me very FUCKING angry, and I do not like people who make me angry!"
Hans was laughing aloud.
"As long as you make sure I am well fed, nothing bad will happen to your family, but if you try to fuck with me again, you and your family will pay, do you understand what I say to you!"
Miko said, "I want to see what I can dig up about this guard's family. Do not worry Hans..."
Miko left the room and left Hans and the guard standing back.
"You better lock me up again before getting thrown into your own cell for trying to help me escape!" Hans said in a chilling voice.
Slowly coming to his senses, the guard locked him in again, so nothing seemed out of the ordinary, but Hans already knew how to handle the guard and his family. All those who made him angry would die for it.
Everybody!
Men, women, and children. All those who opposed him would die a terrible death, and he was looking forward to killing most of them himself!
Because he was, after all, not like other people.
Chapter 15: Elsa: A Hunchback Called Tamas
Elsa was in the middle of receiving three people when Kai came up to her with the letter from Sultan Ali.
"Thanks, Kai. I will look at it later."
To Elsa, her people came first, so Sultan Ali could surely wait a bit. She was very happy.
She felt fully rested after spending some time with her sister. She had fallen asleep in Anna´s embrace and it comforted Elsa to know that she had such a wonderful sister.
The first person to come and see her in the throne room was a boy who was nine years old.
"You Majesty," he said, bowing deeply. "I have come to ask you to take me into your service. I have a good grasp on horses, so you would not regret hiring me."
"I do not doubt that for a minute. What is your name?"
"My name is Turan your Majesty. Do you want me to serve you?"
Elsa thought about it for a moment.
"How much experience with horses do you have?"
"I have worked with horses all my life, you grace. You will not regret hiring me!"
Elsa thought about his offer a little, but then she said, "You are hired!"
Turan's face lit up like a Christmas tree.
"I will not let you down your majesty!" he said, bowing deeply again.
"I know you will not let me down Turan."
Judy escorted Turan out of the room. The next person who came to see her was a man with a hunchback. The man looked at her and Elsa noticed that his face was the most beautiful Elsa had ever seen in her life. His face proportions were perfect. She also noticed that nothing on his face was weird at all, and she thought about how beautiful this man would have been if he had not had a hunchback to begin with.
"Your Majesty" he began. "I am far from home, and I have heard stories of the magic you can do. I wondered if you would care to demonstrate your skills to me so I can see it for myself."
There was something with his voice, which Elsa did not like. He had asked her for a demonstration of her powers, but it felt more as if he had given her an order, hidden away in a calm tone of voice.
"You came all the way here just to see me use my powers?" she asked him.
Something told her to hide her powers from this man, but she did not know why she suddenly had this feeling. It was not as if he could hurt her from where he stood!
"Please you Majesty. I do not think you have powers until I see them for myself, and I would be very grateful if you would give me a demonstration of your powers."
"What would you like me to do?" Elsa asked, trying to figure out why she did not trust this man.
"I will ask you to make an ice statue of me, but without this lump on my back."
Elsa looked at his body. Then she pointed her finger at the floor next to him and ice popped out from her finger. The ice that hit the floor took the form of the man beside it, but the statue was not of a hunchback. The statue showed a man of absolute perfection. A beautiful face, broad shoulders, strong arms, legs, and an ideal body that screamed superhuman.
The statue stunned Elsa.
The hunchback looked at the statue and then he put his hands on it. Elsa could see from the expression on his face that he longed to be the person he never could be, something fate was so cruel to deny him.
She felt that the statue made a mockery of him, and she felt bad for having conjured it up even though he had asked her to do it.
"What is your name?" Elsa asked calmly, trying to find out more about this man.
"My name is Tamas, your majesty," he replied.
She felt bad for Tamas and asked, "Would you like to stay here for a couple of nights as you are far from home?"
"Yes, I would like that very much your majesty." Tamas answered. "But I do not want to trouble you."
"Believe me, you are not."
"Well, I thank you for your kindness, your majesty."
"Kai, make sure Tamas gets a hot meal from the kitchen."
"I will," Kai said.
He turned to Tamas.
"You have to go over to the wall until we are done for today," Kai said.
"As you wish," Tamas replied.
"There it was again!" Elsa thought to herself.
He sounded so confident and annoyed that he had been given an order. Something told her she had to keep an eye on this man as she could easily see him being the one giving orders.
The next person to come in was a farmer who had a pleading look on his face.
"What seems to be the matter?" Elsa asked the farmer.
"Your grace, my crops are not giving the desired amount as I thought it would give. The desired ..."
"Elsa"
She tensed up.
"Elsa"
Not that voice, where did it come from? How could it be?
"You are the key ..."
"...Your Majesty, do you have any idea what to do next?"
The farmer looked at her with hope in his eyes, but she had not heard his complaint.
"That voice", she thought. "Why do I keep hearing it?"
"I will think about it my good man, and I will come back to you with an answer."
Without so much as a word, she left the room.
Anna, who had also been in the room, came running after her.
"Elsa, wait."
Elsa stopped in her tracks. Anna came over and hugged her tightly.
"What happened what is wrong?" Anna asked calmly.
"Anna, it is hard for me to explain what is going on. In my dreams, I hear a voice calling to me, and as I stood in the throne room, I heard it in my mind. I know it sounds crazy, but you have to believe me!" Elsa said as she collapsed to the floor and started crying.
Anna came down to the same level and hugged her sister again.
"I believe you Elsa, I believe in you. If only I could..."
Anna did not finish her sentence as the door flew open again and Tamas entered the corridor, followed by Kai.
"You Majesty" Kai began. "I tried to stop him, but he did not want to listen."
"I saw you go very pale," Tamas said. "It so happens that I am very good with medicine, so if you need something to sleep on or medication for something else, just come to me." Tamas said and Elsa could hear that he was not at all worried about her, but instead he sounded annoyed.
Anna asked, "Do you have something that makes a person sleep a dreamless sleep?"
"Yes, but I would not recommend using it to much as people need to dream to get into a deep sleep!"
"Tamas, I need some sleep, just a little sleep without dreams! Can you make it for me or not?" Elsa asked impatiently.
"I will immediately start making it!" Tamas said, leaving the corridor.
"Come and find me in the kitchen!" they heard him shout.
Kai went with him.
"Elsa" Anna said. "I wish I could protect you from everything. What is this voice you keep hearing?"
Elsa said, "The voice says it is about to be reborn and I am the key. I think the voice says I am vital to its rebirth. I am just wondering what I did to deserve all of this?"
"Elsa, have you thought about that the reason you hear this voice that it is maybe because you have magical powers?"
"I have thought about it."
She had really thought about it. After all, Elsa had spent many hours reading books about her ancestry.
"You believe me, right Anna?"
"Yes, I believe in you Elsa, but I cannot hear this voice, it seems to be that only you can hear it. Now, Tamas is going for some medication to help you get some sleep."
"I need this voice to get out of my head!" Elsa said and felt completely helpless.
For many years, she had felt helpless, afraid of the growing magic inside her, but she had let it go, and now she did not fear her powers.
Now she had a new reason to be scared.
She knew that the voice that haunted her like a hungry ghost was something to take seriously, and she did not doubt that the voice came from someone with telepathic abilities. She did not know whether to see this as an attack, but she was at a loss for what to do next.
Anna hugged her again and Elsa was so grateful for it. She knew she could count on her sister being there for her when she needed help. Just as Anna had sacrificed her life to protect Elsa, Elsa was ready to do the same for Anna.
Elsa was crying into her sister's shoulder, and she said, "I do not want to lose you Anna. I could not make it if I lost you! You are the only family I have left!"
Anna said, "Elsa, I am not going anywhere, not today and not tomorrow. I love you sister, and never forget that!"
Elsa felt unworthy of having a sister like Anna, but she was grateful to have her. After all, Anna was the last of her family, though she also considered Olaf to be a part of their family because she created him.
"Come on Elsa let us go to your chambers and we can relax in there!"
They went to Elsa's private chambers and went straight to the couch.
They sat down and Elsa leaned up against her sister's shoulder and felt exhausted, and Anna asked, "Elsa, do you remember the time when we were little, and I could not sleep? I would sleep in the same bed as you did?"
"Yes, I remember clearly!" Elsa giggled at that memory.
"You know Elsa, I would always sleep peacefully knowing you were there next to me, so if you want me to join you in your bed, then I think it could be of help!" Anna said and meant every single word of it.
Elsa was surprised that her sister would suggest something like that, but if it could really help, why not do it?
"I will be back in two seconds; I am just going to the kitchen to bring you Tamas´s medicine." Anna said and walked out the door, returning five minutes later.
Elsa went to her bed, took off all her clothes except panties, and went to bed, and Anna brought her the drink. It looked all green and slimy.
"AHH, it does not look good, what the hell did he put in it?"
"A lot of ingredients that I forgot to ask about, but I think it will work. Try drinking it, Elsa."
Elsa did.
The drink smelled awful, like worn, sweaty socks, but it tasted surprisingly good. Tasted like pancakes and waffles!
Elsa did not feel a change and she thought it would be better if Anna got into bed with her.
"Anna, will you stay with me tonight to be sure I will sleep well?"
Anna took off her dress and said, "I did not know you were sleeping naked Elsa!"
"It is nothing to talk about. I am still wearing my panties!" she answered.
She also saw Anna take off her clothes and not her panties and lie down next to her.
"We have not slept together like this since we were kids!" Anna said, looking at Elsa.
"No, we have not." she replied, putting her arms around Anna, and pulling her closer to her own body.
Elsa could see that Anna's cheeks had turned red, and Elsa giggled as she kissed Anna on them, saying, "Thank you Anna, for staying with me tonight..."
Chapter 16: Miko: The Family Meeting
Miko hated that woman. She was the reason he had lost everything, and he hated everything about her for it.
He knew that many people across the five kingdoms, from the Southern Isles to the Northern kingdoms, would die in the coming months!
That was how it all was going to start. He knew what Zuldrak wanted, he knew what Hans wanted, and he knew what he himself wanted, but the question remained the same: Could he do it? Could he go through with it? Did he have the strength that this task would require?
"Yes, I have!" he thought to himself.
Then he thought back days ago, and he knew he was ready for the things to come. He knew the guards. King Walter had a team of guards standing guard in the throne room and another team to relive their first watch.
Miko knew the other team was having dinner right now. This team was not loyal to Hans or his own master or himself, so he knew how it would end for that team: In pain and suffering!
He was ready for this. He was ready to take the revenge he had thought on for so long, but he also knew that his master Zuldrak was interested in her and that she was not to be harmed. When the master no longer needed her, Elsa was going to be brought before Miko and he would be ready to inflict on her so much pain that before he killed her, she would have gone insane and unable to use those powers of hers!
The twelve people walking behind him were also ready. They were all ready to kill. They carried swords as Miko did, and everyone was loyal to him.
They were ordinary mercenaries, whom he had promised a lot of gold if they wanted to engage in high treason!
They had accepted that offer.
He thought back to the journey he had been on to find the master. Miko had sought the master to ask him for the means of revenge. He had seen with his own eyes his master killing another man, though the master himself was not physically by his side. Miko had traveled to him with a traveling partner who was a brilliant thief, called Anton.
One night, while Miko was fast asleep, Anton walked over to him with a knife and had been ready to cut Miko's throat open when he suddenly turned the blade on himself and stabbed himself several times in the stomach!
Miko woke up to the sound of his screams and he had been terrified of what was happening before his eyes. When life finally left Anton's eyes, he stopped cutting and fell to the ground!
Miko had thought that it was the end of it all, but before his startled eyes, Anton rose again and began to speak with a voice that was not Anton's own: "This pathetic meat bag of a human will no longer disturb you in your travels, Miko! Come to me! Find me in the mountains where the frost and the wind are the coldest and the ice is the hardest."
Anton's body fell to the ground again!
Miko`s journey lasted over a week. There were several times doing his trip, when he was asking himself if it was worth it, but it was almost as if the wind was leading him to his destination.
It was as if the wind itself was howling to him, "So close now ... do not stop… so close ..."
At the end of his journey up the mountainside, he was exhausted, and every little step he took was painful for him to take, but he finally got to the cave entrance to a mountain, and he was sure this was his true destination! Gradually, he entered the cave and was surprised to see all the tunnels under the mountain! There were so many tunnels, so he did not know where to go or how to get out again!
Suddenly, a strong wind came out of nowhere, and he could not stand it when he suddenly heard a voice whisper to him in his head, "Let the wind guide you to me!"
He let the wind guide him to the man he was looking for, but he suddenly became very nervous to meet the devil that this man seemed to be.
The wind led him into another part of the cave, and Miko saw something he would never forget. In the middle of this part of the cave stood a shadow of a man with red eyes. He wondered how this was even possible when shadows cannot exist in the dark, but apparently, this shadow could.
The shadow with the red eyes said, "So you have finally come Miko."
"Who ... who are you?"
"I am Zuldrak. The winds of fate have drawn you to me. The thing that matters is your quest for revenge, right?"
"I want my revenge on Queen Elsa."
"Then you shall have it!"
"Why are you so interested in helping me on my quest for revenge?"
The Shadow said, "I have my reasons for I need Elsa myself, but when I am done with her, I will give her to you, so you can use her as you see fit. Hans, who has tried to murder Elsa, are currently heading back to the Southern Isles. I will use some of my magic to make sure you reach the islands first! You must help Hans, and as a reward, you get the queen! Do we have a deal?"
"Yes, we have ... but I wanted to know..."
The shadow pointed at Miko and suddenly Miko saw white and disappeared from the cave.
He woke up to the smell and the sound of the sea and the screams of the seagulls. He got up and saw that he was wearing one of the Southern Isles guard uniforms.
He heard a voice in his head.
The shadow Zuldrak was speaking to him, "It cost me a lot of energy, but I have transported you to the Southern Isles and have given you a guard uniform. I have also increased some of your skills, which you can find useful. Now you must help Hans take over this kingdom!"
The voice went quiet and Miko noticed that he had a sword and two knives as well. He had never been a fighter, but when he grabbed his sword, he swung it as if he had done it all his life, and he was sure that his accuracy in throwing things had also increased!
After talking to Hans about what to do next, he had found the prison guards family and had watched them for some time to get their facial features imprinted in his mind. Then he had gone to a bar and had hired the mercenaries with the promise of gold and diamonds.
The next order was to exterminate all crewmembers on the ship that had brought Hans to the Southern Isles as a punishment for the violence against Hans. Miko and his crew had gone towards the port towards the ship. The crew on board the ship never stood a chance as Miko and his crew slaughtered every single person, his sword dripping with blood.
The entire crew had tried to resist, but all were now dead. He liked the violence, and it was amazing that his mercenaries had been so cheap, but it was just good for him, so he did not complain.
Now they had come to the inn, where team two was having dinner. They were in the middle of eating fish and chips. Over in the corner, four people, a man, a woman, a boy, and a girl, ate their dinner. Then there was the innkeeper himself.
Team number two consisted of six people.
"Six dead people." Miko thought to himself.
One of the guards was eating a fish but forgot to chew it when he saw them standing at the door armed with swords.
Before anyone could respond, Miko shouted as loudly as he could, "Kill everyone!"
What happened next was chaos!
Miko led the men in the attack, and he swung his sword against a guard, whom ended up a head shorter than the other guards did.
The men loyal to Miko easily defeated the other guards. Miko knew that this assassination attempt on the royal family had to be a secret, no matter what the cost. He stared at the family of four sitting in a circle in the corner. Miko saw the man telling his family to look down at the floor while he placed himself on top of his family.
"Almost like his body would be able to protect them." Miko thought to himself.
With the screaming guards dying behind him, Miko approached the family and lifted his sword high over his head; thrust the sword back down quickly through the father.
The mother screamed, "NOOOO!"
She ended up headless as Miko swung the sword through her throat.
In two quick moves, he killed the children by thrusting his sword through their hearts.
"Everyone must die." Hans had whispered into Miko's ears. "All of them! Leave no one alive to tell the tale!"
The kids were dead and Miko turned around and saw that none of his men had died. He could not say the same for the six guards and the innkeeper.
"There is someone up there on the first floor!" cried one of the men.
The inn consisted of the ground floor and a first floor and the first floor only had two rooms. Miko went up the stairs and kicked the first door open. No one was in there. He even checked under the bed. He kicked the door up to the other room. In the corner there sat a woman holding her hands up like a shield trying to protect herself.
"PLEASE DO NOT KILL ME! I have not done anything wrong!"
"I thought so," Miko said. "But you will still have to die today."
He walked over to her, grabbed her by the arms, and pulled her up and his heart almost stopped. This woman looked just like his dead wife!
"Do you have a sister?" he asked.
"What does that have to do with anything?"
He hit her so hard that she started bleeding from her mouth.
"DO YOU HAVE A SISTER?" he yelled at her again.
"Yeah, yeah, I once had ... do not kill me."
"Is her name Anita?"
The woman looked at him in shock.
"Yes, her name is Anita. How do you know?"
"Is your name Nell?"
"Yes, how...?"
He hit her so hard; she fell to the floor, knocked unconscious. He had finally met his wife's sister. Anita had always talked a lot about her and there was no way he would disrespect his wife's memory by killing her beloved sister!
He went downstairs again.
"She is dead!" he said to his men.
"Take the guard uniforms and wash them all clean."
All the heads on the guards had been cut off their bodies to prevent the guard uniforms from being damaged. The king would have been suspicious.
"It is time to move on to the next phase of this plan!" said Miko.
"The sooner we are out of here the better the chances of Nell's survival!" He thought to himself. "There is a chance she can make a living. Oh, my beautiful wife, what did we ever do to deserve all this? This queen will die for this. I promise you and our daughter that she will die."
He felt a true sense of purpose as he was going to clean this world free from that icy woman and no one, not even his new master Zuldrak was going to stop him from having his long-awaited revenge, and it would be so sweet. He could almost taste the victory, and no one was going to stop him. Miko could hardly wait.
Chapter 17: Kevin: A Bad And A Good Memory
Kevin was the son of a dead blacksmith who had passed away that summer, leaving Kevin the last person alive in his family. He was twenty-one years old. His father's name had been Simon, and he had taught Kevin how to be a blacksmith, but that kind of work had never caught Kevin's attention.
"Pay attention child! One day I will be long gone from this world, and I really want you to learn these things so you can take care of yourself when I am dead!" Simon used to say to him.
Kevin had never enjoyed the forging lessons because his mind was focused on horses.
"If there is anything I want to do, then it is to be a horse keeper!" He had said to his father.
"Oh really, and I think you want a farm with that?"
"Of course! It will be the best farm ever!"
Simon had slapped him on the cheek right after Kevin said that.
"Now you better listen to me now boy! Dreams are something that can drive men insane, and you need to concentrate better on the things you need to learn now!"
Kevin's right cheek had gone numb after that hit, and he hated his father for it.
"Look here, boy, when the metal is heated enough; we turn it to get it in shape..."
Kevin had been eight years old at the time. He was forced to listen to Simon's teachings hour after hour, and he was expected to be able to answer the questions, Simon asked him, all about this kind of profession. Kevin usually had his mind on something else and was not aware of his father's teachings, which resulted in Kevin being beaten by Simon… again!
The reason for Kevin's concentration problems was that he had gone for a walk when he noticed the royal stable keeper taking care of the royal horses and Kevin could not stop thinking about what it would be like to work at the castle and be so close to the princesses!
The King and Queen of Arendelle sometimes traveled through the village on what Kevin saw as giant horses.
Now Kevin's father was not the only blacksmith in town. There were two, and it was well known that the King only bought horseshoes from the blacksmith named Weasel. Weasel was a man who enjoyed violence to the point where he could suddenly decide to attack someone who had bothered him, instead of trying to talk it through. Weasel was the kind of person who let the fist and the swords speak first.
No one in the village liked him, and people usually avoided him, but his skills as a blacksmith were legendary as well as the prices of the goods he sold, which were legendarily cheap. No one could compete with Weasel and usually ordinary people and knights and royalty went over to him when they wanted to do business.
Simon's work was not bad, but he did not have the same skill as Weasel had, which resulted in Simon having a very difficult time keeping food on the table for Kevin and himself. It happened that Weasel was a good drinker and sometimes there would be drinking contests between him and someone brave enough to try it without knowing that Weasel was getting more and more dangerous when he was drunk.
It happened one day that both Kevin, now sixteen, and his father were walking through the village market when they heard Weasel laughing loud and clear, making everyone think of what surprises Weasel now had in store for his surroundings. Weasel was talking to another man when he saw Kevin and Simon.
"You are only second-rate Simon; how long can you really keep up your work?" Weasel asked.
Simon ignored him...
"Are you deaf or what Simon! Do you have a hearing problem or what?"
Simon stood still in his tracks and Kevin knew it was about to turn ugly.
Simon turned and walked towards Weasel, who was laughing hysterically at Simon.
"What do you want Weasel? Do you not have anything else to do?"
"Yes, I have, and that involves humiliating you Simon, you stupid piece of shit!"
Weasel laughed, not knowing he was playing with fire and was about to be burned.
Simon suddenly went very close to Weasel and wrapped his arms around him, making it look like Simon was giving Weasel a hug.
"You smell of beer Weasel! Sit down!"
Weasel could not speak; instead, gurgling sounds came from him.
"What are you trying to say Weasel? I hope it hurts you!"
Suddenly Weasel slumped as if he had fallen asleep against Simon. Kevin realized that the people around them had not yet realized what had just happened before their eyes. Simon had killed Weasel by sticking a hidden knife into him, and now Weasel was dying and drowning in his own blood without being able to say how much it hurt.
"Die, you sadistic piece of shit!" Simon whispered into Weasel's ears. "I know where Weasel lives!" he said to the nearby guards. "This man stinks of beer, so I will carry him to his home, nothing to see here!"
The guards knew Simon as an honest man, took his word for it, and left to return to their position.
"What the hell!" Kevin thought to himself. "My dad just got away with murder. This is some serious trouble; we could get into!"
Kevin followed Simon closely, not knowing what to say.
"Father ..."
"Be silent son! Not a word right now!"
Kevin followed his father and saw that they were really on their way to Weasel's tiny home, a stone house with a roof made of wood.
"Help me get him inside by opening the door!"
Kevin, unable to say anything, opened the door and Simon entered the house, followed by Kevin. The stone house consisted of only one room with a chimney above them. Simon put the body down in a bed and put a blanket over the body.
"Come night, I will return to this place." Simon said.
"It must look like an accident. Come my son, let us go home."
"Weasel's house burned down in the middle of the night, oh god it was so awful to see!" Isa, who was fifteen years old, told Kevin the next day.
He had been asleep, but he had no doubt that his father was behind the burning of the stone house.
"Did your parents allow you to watch?"
"They are currently in the kingdom of Corona to visit some relatives. My Uncle Miko is currently looking after me, but I managed to sneak away from him without being spotted."
"Maybe I should tell your uncle, right?"
"You are an ass; you know that right?"
"Really ...? What about yourself?"
"You are funny, but you cannot catch me" Isa said suddenly in a straightforward voice and began to run.
"I am right behind you!" Kevin said, running after her.
They ran, laughed, and jumped over rocks and obstacles until they finally reached the forest. They were not supposed to be there, but they did not care about the adult´s rules.
After all, they were teenagers!
When he finally caught her, he pushed her up against a tree and stared into her brown eyes.
"My God, I love your eyes!"
"That is the most romantic line you have ever told me!" Isa said.
"Shut up and kiss me my love!"
"Yes sir!"
They kissed as he ran his fingers through her blonde silky hair. He had wanted it for a long time, but his dad had taught him the art of his profession for a long time, so Kevin and Isa had not seen each other for days now!
He had felt hungry for her red lips, and now he could finally end that hunger. They both kissed with their saliva hanging from their mouths, their tongues playing with each other. Both struggled for breath, but both would not be the first to pull away.
Isa's arms wrapped around him in a lock, he did not want her to break, and his hands went down her gray skirt to find her thighs. Isa gasped as she felt his hands go up, searching for her most sacred place.
"I want you Isa. You are mine ..."
"You are mine ...!" she repeated, fingers running down his face as if she could see him better and feel every detail of him.
Her hands went down to his cock and felt it, running her finger up and down the side of it sensing its growing length and stiffness.
"Are you ready already?" she asked and kissed him more, like a person thirsting for water and finally finding the well, as they were drinking each other's saliva as they kissed, their body feeling as if on fire, their sweat visible to them both.
He whispered into her ears, "You are so wet down there..."
"Is it a waterfall?" she asked.
"No, but it is very welcoming..."
Isa lifted his shirt over his head and helped him get the rest of his clothes off, a process that they slowly went through as if they had all the time in the world, with only the birds and a moose witnessing their love making ritual. Kevin helped her out of her gray clothes and took a moment to look at her body.
Isa was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen and the only one he wanted to be with forever.
He looked at her body, studied every detail of her. Her white skin with no signs of freckles, silky smooth to the touch, and her breasts were not to small and not to large, but he liked touching and feeling these globes in his hands.
He kissed her, and then he went down and kissed her passionately on her neck, the shoulder blades, went down to her arms as he noticed sweat hanging from her nipples. He sucked on them and drank her sweat while Isa moaned with delight.
"Your nipples are beautiful. Everything about you is beautiful Isa."
"I love you..." Isa said and looked down at the ground and saw that this was a perfect place to lie down, and she did, and Kevin followed her down and got on top of her.
She brought her head up to his again so they could kiss while Isa found his cock with her right hand and led it to her opening between her thighs.
"I want you Kevin…," she moaned as he kissed her neck.
"I love you Isa, you must never forget that..."
"Ahh..." she moaned, as they became one with each other.
She wrapped her legs around him and completely encircled him, letting him go deep as she touched his face and sucked wildly on his tongue.
"Mine..." she said.
"Forever..." he replied.
"It feels so good Kevin, do not stop!"
"Isa..." he whispered.
Their bodies moved in perfect sync with each other, their sweat running down their bodies on that hot summer day.
"If only we could stay here forever," Kevin whispered to her.
"Forever..." answered Isa, moaning loudly, then the moose raised its head, curious of what was going on.
"I am so close now. I am about to cum."
"Pull out!"
He did, and just as he was about to do so, Isa had taken a good grip on his cock and sucked on his dick.
"Ahh..." he moaned and felt he could not hold it back anymore and let it go.
He came in her mouth. They had never done that before. It felt so good, and Isa looked at him with her round brown eyes smiling a sweet smile, which made him love her even more.
When he was done, she opened her mouth to show that she had swallowed everything. Then he came down to her level and kissed her a little more as they lay in the clearing and enjoyed the silence that followed, except for the moose and the birds, everything was quiet.
"If only we could stay here forever my love!" Isa said with her arms wrapped around his neck.
"That would be nice!" Kevin responded with his arms wrapped around her waist, her legs wrapped around his waist.
"Together forever..." they said to each other.
Now he was 21 years old, and Kevin remembered that episode very well as he was cleaning the royal stables after Elsa hired him to take care of her horses after the nine-year-old Turan died after he was kicked in the face by Elsa's horse.
Chapter 18: Hans: A Dish Best Served Cold
Hans knew it was almost time to act. Although he could not see it for himself, he knew that Miko had succeeded in his plan. Now he counted the seconds and minutes until the next phase of his plan began.
He was ready for the things to come.
He thought of his brothers. When he was younger, his brothers had pretended that he did not exist. His father had treated him badly until he almost killed his big brother Alexander. Now, Alexander himself was dead after all this time.
Time was not something that would warm his cold heart, but only made it colder to the point where he felt nothing. Nothing towards his family. Had things been different, he could have loved Anna for real.
All of it was too late now and what was done was done. He did not care about other people's feelings, and he considered himself above most of them.
He had changed to the point where he had forgotten what love was. The meaning of the word "love" was like an unknown stranger to him. He did not care about love and saw it only as a weakness. Although love had saved Anna from her frozen death, he knew he would have succeeded in ending the queen's life if he had killed Anna when he had the chance, instead of locking her up, giving her a chance to escape.
If this "voice" wanted something in Arendelle, he would be happy to burn the kingdom and crucify every single person in it if the "master" could give him more power.
He had once loved Nell with all his heart and he had loved her deeply, but when she had told him that he was a monster because of the things that had happened to Alexander, he had stopped loving her too. He wondered what became of her.
He was sure she was not dead, but he was also sure he would never see her again. He wondered how things would have been different had he not attacked Alexander the way he had.
The guard had brought him food from the kitchens whenever he asked. The guard was afraid for his family. Hans knew it and used that fear to his advantage. Whatever he asked for, he got, but he still had to kill the guard and his family.
That was not going to change.
"I bring you your food," the guard said nervously each time.
Hans had warned him not to say anything about the man who had visited him.
"How did he even manage to get here without the guards after him?" the guard had asked him.
"He probably put the king under a hypnotic trance, it does not stop the king from acting like he normally does but allows Miko to go where he wants to go..." Hans replied.
It did not matter to him how much the guard knew. The guard and his family were already dead, so it did not matter how many questions he asked.
"Soon he will not be asking another question for he will be dead at that point." Hans thought to himself.
A sound came from the spiral staircase, and Miko appeared dressed as one of the royal guards.
"So, has the plan worked perfectly so far?" he asked Miko.
"It has Hans, everyone is dead! The crewmembers are all dead and all the people in the inn is dead. There are no witnesses to any of the events, which has transpired!"
"Open this door immediately!" Miko told the guard.
"Right away, I am on it!"
The guard opened the door to Hans´s prison cell.
"Do you have a knife?" Hans asked Miko.
"Yes, I have."
"Then give it to me!"
"Here you are." Miko said and gave him a knife that he had hidden in his boots.
Before the guard knew what was happening, Hans was on top of him and thrusted the blade through the guard´s neck, whom began to gargle in his own blood and drowned in it. Hans had at that moment when he killed the man felt an adrenaline rush, but his heart was calm as he killed the man.
Calm as ice.
Hans watched as the guard's face turned blue, where after his body went completely still and was quiet. Hans felt good about doing it.
He had gotten some of his revenge that he had wanted for a very, very long time, and he knew very well what would happen next!
This was his plan after all, but he was still a little nervous for thousands of things could go wrong!
Hans turned to Miko: "Is one of these swords for me?"
"Yes Hans" he replied.
Miko had two swords, and now he gave one of them to Hans. Hans swung it around a bit, feeling its weight and balance.
"Nice sword!" he said. "Miko are you ready for what is going to happen now?"
"I am as ready as I can be."
"Okay so let us do this! No turning back now. Remember, be ready for anything!"
They walked up the spiral staircase and entered the large throne room. Hans noticed them all right away. The king on the throne, his wife by his side, and sitting close to them were all his brothers, except one, but he was stone cold dead.
Hans watched with glee as the king and queen both got shocked expressions on their faces as he entered the room with a sword in his hand. He noticed that he´s brothers did not carry around their swords, which was very unusual, as they always did so, but it was probably because of all the guards who were in the same room, who were there to protect them or so he would have them think.
The only thing was that these guards were not there to protect the royal family! They were there to make sure a new monarch saw the light of day.
Nothing would stop that from happening!
"This is going to be so easy!" he said to himself.
The king cried out in fear, "Guards, Guards! We are under attack! Kill the traitor. Kill them both!"
The guards came towards Miko and Hans while some of his brothers said, "We are going for more help!"
The guards, posted near the door to the outside world, unsheathed their swords and thrust them forward through the throats of three of his brothers. The guards, who was running towards Hans and Miko, suddenly stopped in their tracks, and Hans watched the spears in their backs sticking out as if they were knives in the back.
Hans knew he had won.
He knew things would change forever now and nothing could stop him from getting what he wanted!
"NOOO!" the king screamed and got up from his seat and took up his own sword, which was set against his white throne.
"YES!" Hans screamed out and together with Miko he began to cut down the rest of his brothers as if they were dolls.
Hans enjoyed hearing their cries and heard them begging for mercy, but he had no mercy left to give.
His frozen heart would not allow them any mercy!
He thrusted his sword through Chris's mouth, and he saw that the rest of his brother were death as the guards had mercilessly killed them!
The king himself fought fiercely and managed to cut off the head of one of his mercenaries, but the much better fighter Miko knocked his sword out of his hands.
The king went down on his knees and prayed, "Please, no more! Spare my wife and me. Let us talk about this, right!"
Hans´s gaze searched the throne room and found his mother at the far end right corner. His mercenaries was disguised as guards and they had locked all the doors, so there was no way out for her. Hans took his dagger and plunged it into his father's right eye.
He screamed as blood ran from that wound.
Hans took the opportunity to squeeze the dagger through his screaming mouth, silencing him and ended the sadistic king's life!
He looked again at his mother, who was desperately trying to get one of the doors open.
It would not open.
He felt a smile on his lips as he approached his mother.
"It is time you repented for your sins..."
Hans said with a voice that sounded cold as ice.
"Please Hans ... I am asking you ... Do not hurt me ... I will do anything you ask ...I swear it!"
"SILENCE!"
Hans walked right up to the door and with his pure fury, kicked the door of its hinges.
"Come on mom! It is time for the two of us to finally have a mom and son moment!"
He hit her hard in the face and she collapsed to the floor. Hans carried his mother into the room with a now missing door and placed her on the diva standing against the wall. He was on top of her when she opened her eyes.
She was screaming, but he quickly put his hand on her mouth and prevented her from screaming.
He lowered his head close to hers so that their lips almost met and said, "Oh Mother, if only someone loved you!"
He punched her in the face again and laughed as his mother struggled to stay conscious. Then Hans pulled up and looked down at his broken, bleeding and crying mother.
"I am sorry Hans!" she said. "I am so sorry I was not a better person; I feared your father´s rage so much. Please do not hurt me anymore!"
"You want to know something mother? I do not want to rape or kill you!"
His mother stopped crying.
"Thank you, my son."
"I however cannot speak for my guards. I can when I think about it. Let me ask you a question mother. Have you ever been taken by many people on the same time before?"
He saw it in her eyes that she was scared. Hans turned to his guards.
"Do whatever you want with her. It is on the house!"
He was laughing as the guards approached his frightened mother.
"No... HANS PLEASE NO!" She cried, but it was of no use!
He would not ignore the years of abuse, he had suffered in the hands of his parents and brother's and so he wanted everyone to pay for it, no matter how brutal it was going to get.
He again thought things could have been different, if he had been treated better, but Hans had not been that kind of person and he wondered if he had stooped down to their level by doing all this. Then he thought of his father, and more than ever, Hans was convinced that the Southern Isles was becoming a better place for all of them.
He was certain of this. A nation would rise where peace and prosperity would reign supreme and no violence exists, except the violence he would inflict on the people standing in his way. It reminded him that he was going to kill Gerda.
Gerda had been given one of the guest rooms in the castle to stay in until this whole story with Hans had been ended, but that would not happen now!
First, he would let the mercenaries' rape his mother, then he would deal with Gerda and that prison guards' family.
"This turns out to be a very brilliant day!" he said loudly, and a smile crept across his face as the screams from his mother sounded like the sweetest music to his ears and for the first time in forever, he felt happy.
His mother was screaming and within his mercy, but now she was going to feel his full-unleashed wrath and there would be no one to come to the rescue.
No other king to hide behind from him.
This was going to be a good day indeed.
Chapter 19: Miko: A New Mission
Miko had seen the whole scene from the back. The Queen had asked Hans for mercy, but he had no mercy left to give anyone. The guards had approached her, and there was no way for her to escape the next minutes of sheer terror.
This was going to be a nightmare for the queen. In another life Miko would have tried to stop what was about to happen.
However, such dreams were best left alone. Those belonged to a family man, whose family was dead. If it got him closer to his own goal, Miko would probably have participated in the rape himself. His fake guards had done so much horror to the Queen, while Hans and Miko had been watching.
She had been crying and as the guards approached her, she had screamed. One of the guards had pulled her up and had kissed her hard on the lips.
"I have always wanted to screw a royal princess! But a royal queen is even better!" he yelled out loud.
Another guard came up from behind, took a good grip in her fine green silk dress and tore it apart so she stood naked in front of them all, unable to escape.
The guard was feverously kissing her and licking her all over her face, his tongue even licked her eyelids and her forehead and continued down to her neck, and he exclaimed, "These are some big boobs you have; I shall truly enjoy these round globes of yours!"
He squeezed each of them tightly as he moved her breasts in circles.
My turn!" the guard behind her exclaimed and with his arms around her he swept her of the ground and carried her over to the bed where he threw her onto it and no soft bed could lessen how much she hurt at that point as she landed face down first on it.
Before that guard could act, another guard was immediately on top of her, grabbing her around her waist and turned her around so she lay down on her back. He pulled down his pants and the queen watched as a huge monster of a dick appeared.
He was about to penetrate her when the guard, who had thrown her, kicked him so hard in his balls that he fell off the bed in absolute pain.
"Do not screw with me! I was about to give it to her first!"
Miko looked at Hans. He smiled at the whole scene before him.
"He undoubtedly enjoys violence and pain a lot, Poor girl who ends up with him!" Miko thought.
The Queen fought for her life, and she managed to kick the guard in the face, so he lost his balance, fell onto the floor, and was knocked unconscious, but another man crawled on top of the struggling queen and hit her, causing her to fall unconscious.
"Wake up you useless queen! I want you to really feel it!"
The guard grabbed her legs and without much hassle, he spread them apart, revealing her opening. The Queen cried aloud.
"Please wait, I beg of you all! PLEASE ... Hans, please order them to stand down, I beg of you!"
Hans looked at his mother.
"No..." Miko heard him say.
The guard on top of her forced himself into her.
"You are one of the loosest women I have ever entered, but then again you did give birth to thirteen sons. It is a real pleasure to take you like this...!"
Another guard had taken off his trousers and sat on his knees on the bed next to her head. The Queen moaned in pain, at the brutal force with which the guard was thrusting into her.
The guard next to her said, "Suck on my giant cock, and if you try to bite into it, I will cut you to pieces, you understand?"
The queen gave a brief nod with her head.
The guard forced his cock into her mouth and brutally forced it back and forth, leaving the queen to cough and gasp for air.
The guard on top of her exclaimed, "I am going to cum!"
Right after that, he came deep inside of her.
"Whose turn is it now?" he asked as he pulled out of the queen, his juices leaking from her opening.
"Mine, mine, mine, and mine, no mine!" the other guards shouted as if they were a bunch of seagulls.
Miko could see that the queen was no longer fighting, but just lay on the bed and took it. She was silent, but her tears still ran down her face. All the guards took their turn and turned to Hans.
"What are we going to do with this woman?" they asked.
"Kill her!" he said without any emotion in his voice.
The first guard, who came inside her, went over to his pants, and retrieved a little cord. Then he got on the bed, lay down on it, and placed himself behind her, and he wrapped the cord around her neck and started tightening it.
She tried to move, but the guard that was taking her now at that moment placed his weight on her legs so she could not kick or move, and her arms could not reach her attacker behind her.
She was dying gasping for air.
"Well!" the guard said laughing. "I like that you are trying to fight back!"
The Queen used the last of her strength to try to fight back, but it was of no use. From afar, Miko saw panic in the Queen's eyes as she used all her strength trying to loosen the cord around her throat, but she did not have the strength and Miko heard how she gasped for air.
She would never make it.
He saw her punch the guard on top of her, but it only made the guard say, "Hit again if you can, if you have the strength to do it.
The cord tightened even more and small lines of blood started to appear from where the cord was tightening. Miko saw her movements slow down and she got still.
Then it was all over.
The Queen was silent and moved no longer.
She was dead.
Hans turned to the guards and said, "Well, I hope you enjoyed that bitch, but now I want you to carry the bodies outside..."
"What should we do with them when we do?" a guard asked him.
"You just have to leave the body in the yard while I get in contact with a man who is good at building big crosses made of wood so I can have their bodies crucified!"
The guards looked at Hans as if he were insane.
"GET YOUR ASSES MOVING!" he yelled, and the guards complied and began moving all the bodies outside.
"Miko, I take that you found out where the prison guards family lives?"
"Yes Hans, I have found that out! Do you want them killed?"
"Yes, everyone must die! All my enemies. It is better to deal with a problem now than to risk a riot!"
"Then I will kill them right away!" Miko said and walked out of the castle.
He was at a loss for words when it came to the Queen. The humane thing would have been to kill her immediately instead of making it so slow with strangulation, but if all this brought him closer to his goal, he would not complain or say a word about it!
He was walking down a hillside towards the family´s house when he suddenly heard a voice in his head: "Excellent Miko, I knew I had chosen wisely with you... Now I will give you your next assignment, are you ready for this challenge?"
"Yes sir!" Miko thought because he knew by now, that he would work for the shadow Zuldrak if it got him closer to the target Elsa.
"Arendelle carries many riches, but beneath the castle there is a treasure chest made of gold, and I would like that the contents of the chest be retrieved!"
"But to get that chest, we have to attack Arendelle!" Miko exclaimed, as he could not see how that would be possible.
"Do not worry Miko. The Southern Isles have the largest navy than all the other kingdoms combined! It should not be a problem to attack Arendelle."
"That bitch can freeze the water, and our ships would never be able to reach Arendelle's port!"
"It is of little concern, since I know that a new type of cannon has been made for the ships. You must talk to Hans about it. Pick up the object for me Miko, get it for me and tell Hans I want the queen alive. One more thing: You must search the catacombs underneath the castle, where you are now. Look for what looks like a part of a seal and bring it to me!"
The voice fell silent again as Miko reached his destination.
He knocked on the door leading into a small stone building. A woman appeared in the doorway.
"Yes, can I help you?" the woman politely asked.
Miko had not seen the woman close to him, but now that he did, he could easily say she was a beautiful woman. She had red hair going down to her shoulder and brown eyes that looked at him with interest shining out of them.
"Who is it?" he heard a voice say, coming from inside the house.
It sounded like the family was having dinner, and for what Miko had seen before, there was this woman and four children.
Five people would have to die!
"Yeah, I was wondering about something. I wondered if you have a man working at the castle as a prison guard."
"You are talking about Michael! Is he okay? Has something happened?" She asked, and Miko could hear panic in her voice.
"I am afraid there is ..."
Miko saw that by mentioning their father's name, the children got up and came over to their mother so they could listen to the conversation.
"I am afraid your husband was in a terrible, horrible accident."
"Tell me what happened!" she demanded.
Before mom and kids could do anything, Miko had drawn his sword and as if he had been a ballerina, he easily cut them all open, so in the end there was a large pool of blood on the floor.
"Now this will make Hans happy!" he said to himself and went back to the castle courtyard.
"It turns out to be a really good day!" Hans said as he saw Miko. "In fact, a great day! I want to do a better job of governing than my dad could ever have dreamed of doing!"
"Well, I hope you have not forgotten your end of this agreement. My lord wants an object in Arendelle!"
"Well, it would help me a lot if I knew what kind of item I am after."
"You are after an old gold chest that lies beneath Arendelle. My master wants it for himself! He has given you power over the Southern Isles, and now he expects that favor returned."
"You can tell your master that I will send a large portion of my fleet to burn Arendelle and I can send him Princess Anna to! I am pretty sure she is a virgin so your master would probably enjoy her"
"He is not interested in the princess. All he wants is the golden treasure chest buried under the castle!"
"Really?"
"There is another thing my lord is asking you to do. It is about the queen."
"What about the queen? Do you want me to keep her alive or kill her?"
"My master wants the queen trapped alive and unharmed. She belongs to him for the time being."
"What does he need the queen for?"
"I do not know, but all I know is that she must be important, but rest assured Hans, that when all this is over you will become the most powerful man in all the kingdoms combined!"
"I fail to see how that is even possible! If all the other kingdoms stand with the kingdom of Arendelle, if I go to war with Arendelle, the combined powers of the other kingdoms will destroy my army and then I will have nothing!"
"What makes you so sure they stand by Queen Elsa's side?"
"I expect them to do so!"
"Believe me Hans, you can destroy Arendelle, and no one will stand in your way, my lord will see to that in person if it has to be, but for now he will like you to focus on a way to get to that chest!"
"I will try…"
Chapter 20: Zerah: The Master
"This is not a nice room to be dead in," Zerah though to herself.
The smell of flowers filed the nostrils with sweet scents or at least that was what she thought it smelled like. She was not dead, but she was not alive either. She looked down upon her naked body that lay on the table and looked so peaceful in dead, that she rather wished she were dead for real.
However, the master would not let her die.
Therefore, she had to wait and look on each night as Arif came for his nightly pleasures. Arif had for many years been a mortician of sorts, a man that took care of the dead and made sure that dead animals were removed from the city streets, but if he had thought that people were going to take an interest in him, then he was wrong.
On one hand, they respected Arif for his abilities to make anyone look like they had just passed away peacefully in their sleep. On the other hand, he was seen as one of the lowest people in society, for his constant work with everything dead.
Zerah found it unfair that a man such as Arif, a brilliant undertaker, were treated with such disdain by society at large, that he was to suffer from a constant loneliness. Arif was not a good-looking man, but he was not ugly or deformed. He was a regular man among so many, yet he stood out with his constant work with anything dead, and people tended to stay away from him.
He was seen as an ill omen when he came knocking on a door to a dwelling where a person had passed away, so people looked the other way when he came walking towards their direction. It had made Arif mad and at some point, something must have broken inside of him.
Zerah knew it all to well as she looked down on her body being mistreated in such a vile way. She could barely look at the scene beneath her as Arif pushed himself into her and started pumping within her. The dead were the only ones that could not say no to him and his advances. He was so lonely that the dead made up his family, and Zerah was his new wife.
He was using a mixture of complicated elixirs, that Zerah did not understand how worked, to completely halt the decomposition of the body, by bathing the body in a bathtub with the elixirs and other kinds of mixtures.
Zerah heard him moaning loudly as he no doubt came inside her dead body. At that point, she forgot how lonely Arif was and only wanted to kill him in the most violent way possible. She saw him pull out of her body and saw him go over to a closed window.
She heard him crying again.
He did that every day.
She heard him say, "Why, what has my life come to?"
He was trying to get himself out of loneliness. Tehomia was not a good nation for lonely people, but then again, what nations was?
Zerah knew deep within herself, that Arif, deep within, was not a bad person, but he had gone crazy and insane a long time ago, and at this point putting him out of his misery did not seem like such a bad idea.
Zerah floated down to her own corpse on the table and saw Arif´s cum dripping out of her as she silently cursed him. She decided that he was not going to get away with that if she had anything to say about it. Zerah was stuck in the air as a dead spirit, and she could not bring harm upon a living person. She could not interact with any objects around her. She could not lift a cup of wine or make a plate levitate in the air.
She was stuck in this form, unable to die.
She could pass and float trough the wall and ceiling and could float wherever she wanted to go. Zerah had decided to stay near her own corpse for the time being. Arif was done crying and he had lowered his pants again. He was going to abuse her body again, while she watched it happen. His tongue upon what was her cold empty shell, made Zerah turn away as she could no longer watch her body being abused like that.
She had to get out of there, far away the soft crying and moaning that came from Arif. She floated out of the room and out of the building. Even here, she could see that Arif´s house stood far away from all other homes and dwellings. A lonely man in a lonely house, standing lonely far away from other homes.
It was a tragedy.
The sun was baking the earth, but she could not feel the warm upon herself, for she was a spirit, that could only observe her surroundings. Not even the wind within the plain of the living could now touch her ghostly being, as she floated above the city that had been her torment for years.
How she wished she could destroy it all.
How she wished she could burn it all down to the ground for there was not one person in that city that deserved life.
Zerah heard him as his voice were everywhere and nowhere at the same time, "Zerah, come to me!"
She looked everywhere around her but the voice of her master where nowhere to be found.
"Zerah, you are mine!"
As if invincible chains had grabbed hold of her, she suddenly felt her being pulled in one direction.
She had no control while she was alive, why should she have any, while she was dead?
Her vision could see through walls, and in many dwellings, men were eating lunch with their families, and she saw lovers embracing one another in warm beds, their work forgotten and only each other´s bodies being each other's desire.
She gazed upon the palace were Kasim was holding his mother in a warm embrace as she cried into his shoulder, her body shaking of grief over the loss of her son. She saw the sultan sitting still upon his throne, sweat running down his troubled brow, no doubt concerned for the future of his nation.
The desert sand beneath her lay quiet, but now a sandstorm was building in the horizon. The deserts sands were floating wild in the air as the storm build up beneath her. She lost sight of it when, her spirit floated above the ocean itself.
She could see right through the water and into the very heart of the ocean. She saw whales beneath the waves swimming in packs to a destination unknown to herself. She saw mighty fish she had never seen before and saw the beasts that swam in the darkest deep. Beast that had been banished to the dark when the light and darkness was torn from one another.
She looked up and saw through the air, mountain peaks cold with snow, and she saw a kingdom with a beautiful queen, rotating and turning in her bed as if she had a troubled dream. She saw a mighty castle up in the mountains guarded by a giant snow guardian and saw deep into the heart of the eternal winter up in the mountains.
She saw the cave entrance treaded into only by a few, their destiny awaiting just before them.
"Zerah, come to me!" her master´s voice sounded again.
She floated near in the sky so close to the entrance and found herself flying through the cave shortly after, searching for her master. Then she saw the shadow in the middle of the room, existing without the light. The red eyes and the sharp teeth, glowing in the dark.
"I see you Zerah. You are mine."
Her spirit fell upon the rock floor, and she bowed before her master and she spoke in this way: "Master, how can this be. How do I exist this way? How am I not dead yet, as I have felt the rope upon my neck?"
"Your soul, I have control over it, I have corrupted a part of it and tied it to my own power. My power is limited as of now, so I had to choose carefully whom I wanted to have working for me. You are my servant, and you shall serve me. In return, what your heart desires, I shall give to you as a favor returned, this I, Zuldrak, promises you, that what you desire the most shall be yours!"
She looked up upon the shadow with the eyes of the fanatic and she spoke: "Zuldrak, I will do whatever I must do to serve you. I have never known love, something many people have. I want to burn Tehomia´s capital Alomit down. I want to slay every single person within that cursed nation, and then I want to know love. I want to know love that licks my body up and down, where I want it to do so. I want to hear the heartbeat of a man that loves me as much as I would love him. I want to know that love. I want to know what love is, and I want to be able to live in peace."
"What you want you shall have Zerah of Tehomia. You shall have all what you desire. I shall give all of that to you and much more. You must however serve me for a short period. You are my instrument, and you will do what I tell you to do, and when you have done what I have requested, then you shall have what you always wanted."
Zerah was crying tears of joy as the master made his promises to her. The promises of things to come as she imagined herself with a family of her own.
"Now, Zerah, it is about time that your soul returns to your body and for you to become alive again. You shall do one thing only. You must find a way to kill the royal family of Tehomia, then you must retrieve the zeal hidden in the palace of the royal family. Know this challenge is also a riddle, for you must prove yourself worthy of the many gift that I shall shower you with, if you manage to complete this quest. Are you ready my servant?"
"I am master!"
"Then come alive once again!"
As if an invincible robe had gotten hold of her, she found herself floating backwards out of the cave. She saw the castle again, within it; there was a red-haired woman that were comforting the queen in her bed. The queen was shaking and crying against her.
Zerah was traveling above the ocean once more, peeked into the deep once more, and saw impossible beasts, which no longer should have been alive, but only exist within a book of fairytales. The desert storm was raging but now she noticed many workers moving and covering what could only be containers.
Now, she was floating above the accursed city once again and saw queen Scheherazade upon her bed, the sultan taking her roughly from behind, and she saw Scheherazade´s silent tears upon her face.
"They all deserve to burn," Zerah said to herself as she floated back to Arif´s home.
She could see that he was putting nail polish upon her fingers and toenails and had sat her hair up in a bun and put red lipstick upon her lips. Next to him where a table with knives and scissors and other tools to prepare the body for a funeral.
He was a disgusting mortician, and she hated him again.
As he got done applying the lipstick to her corpse, he kissed her dead, cold lips passionately, and while doing this he did not notice that she had come alive and only realized that fact when the pair of scissors sat in his jugular as his blood came pouring out of it.
So into his kiss with the dead, had made him blind to the fact that she had been able to move her arm and while pretending to still be dead she had got him.
Now, she was watching the life leaving his eyes, and as she looked down upon his now soon to be dead corpse, she said, "This is but the start!"
