Frozen Heart Part 3

Chapter 21: Elsa: The Letters

Elsa sat on the couch in her private chambers reading the four letters that had been left unopened for a few days. With everything that had happened when she thought about the mysterious voice, she had not been able to find the concentration needed to read or write letters. These were the tasks, that she had set aside but she could not hold it of anymore.

The letters were not common. Each one had a different color and different painted image on them. She sat down with all the letters spread out in front of her on the table and could not decide which one to choose first.

She decided to close her eyes and pick up all the letters, mixing them up then she put the letters in a pile in front of her, and then she opened her eyes. The first letter at the top was from the Southern Isles. Resisting the urge to throw the letter into the fire in her fireplace, Elsa forced herself to pick it up. This letter was brown with a sword painted on the front. The sword was the official symbol of the Southern Isles. With trembling fingers, she opened the letter and found a white piece of paper inside.

She began to read it:

Your Majesty I cannot express enough how sad I was to find out what my son Prince Hans had been trying to do to you and your sister. While this incident may cause a rift in our kingdom's relationship to the point where it cannot heal, it does not mean that we should stop trying to heal it. My son's death may be the first step in healing this great divide between us but rest assured that we are not all like my son. He is a bad egg, and he will die for his betrayal. Until then, I urge you not to think badly about us. I would like to send another representative to meet with you if you will allow it. He is a good man and very trusted. Please let me know your answer as soon as possible!

From King Walter.

Elsa was not in the mood to allow another representative from the Southern Isles to set foot in her kingdom.

"And yet ..." she thought.

The Southern Isles are the highest militarized kingdom of the five. Not being friends with them could prove to be disastrous!

If she had the other three kingdoms behind her, in the event of a war, she would triumph over the Southern Isles, but at a terrible cost.

A price that she was not prepared to pay!

The second letter was from the Kingdom of Corona. Elsa's relatives were ruling in this realm. Their letter was blue and on it was a painted yellow sun. Elsa smiled as she opened it.

The letter read:

Dear Elsa.

I am writing to you because I heard from Rapunzel that things got out of control in your kingdom. I want to remind you that my husband and I stand by your side. If you think danger is imminent and you generally only need help or guidance, we are at your side. One more thing! The King and I have heard of your abilities. I want you to know that it does not change our attitude towards you. If you have time, I would like to see you in the Kingdom of Corona so we can get to know each other a little more. Even though I write to you and make it sound like I really know you, it is just that I want you to know that we are family and families stick together no matter what. We hope to see you when you have the time!

Much love

From Queen Arianna

It is true that Queen Arianna and her husband were not so close to Elsa, but Elsa had a feeling that Queen Arianna and her husband were the only true allies she had right now.

"I really should visit them sometime," she said to herself.

The third letter was from Sultan Ali in Tehomia. It was red with a lamp painted on the front.

It read:

You Majesty

I know my ice order is gigantic if that is even a word that can be used to describe it. I would like to send some men and animals to help transport the ice if it suits you? One more thing: I know you and your sister have gone through some crazy things, but you need to know that you have a friend in me. Just whisper and I will be there, ready to help you.

Sultan Ali

Elsa really did not know much about Sultan Ali.

She had heard rumors that he had gone insane following the death of his son. A man with an unstable mind was dangerous because trying to guess his next step would be difficult.

Elsa saw the last letter on the table.

It was white with a chest painted on it. The letter was from the Northern Kingdom. One of the cities in the kingdom was Weselton, the Duke's home, who had sent men to stop Elsa permanently by killing her!

The letter read:

You Majesty

First, I would like to apologize for the duke's behavior. He must pay a large sum of money to me for the shame he has brought upon me. I wanted him suffocated in his sleep, but he is a skilled merchant in this realm. That is why I decided not to have him executed. However, if you want money for the trouble, you have been through, I will be happy to send you a treasure chest full of jewels, diamonds, money, or any other kind of wealth. Another thing I would like to ask you is this: Weselton is one of the largest cities in my kingdom and I ask you to resume trading with us. You will never have to see the duke's face again, but my kingdom loses money and merchandise, and it damages my kingdom! I will not threaten you, but if through your actions you cause my people to suffer, then I will see no other alternatives to go to war with you. I hope we can rekindle our friendship and build up the trust that I spend years doing with your parents!

Best wishes

King Magnus

"Magnus is a fine man," Elsa thought to herself, and she knew that he was not guilty of the duke's behavior, but that did not stop her from being angry with him, and now he dared threaten her in this letter!

If Magnus wanted a war or found it necessary to have one, he would fail!

Just as the duke's bodyguards had tried to kill her, she was ready to slay people from another kingdom to protect her own people. She knew that one day she had to go to extreme measures to protect her people, and it was not a day that she looked forward too, but she knew that she was going to use her powers for extreme purposes if needed be.

She thought of the mother and child that had frozen to death because she could not handle her powers. No matter how she thought about it or turned that incident around in her mind, she felt bad for their deaths. She had come up with the excuse that she could not handle her power at the time, but that did not wash the shame away.

The man, Miko, had disappeared, and rumors had it that he had committed suicide, and Elsa felt devastated, but years of isolation had taught her to hide her feelings, so she found it easy to hide her emotions and what she was truly thinking about. Most of her kingdom loved her and the people respected her, but not all people did. She knew it well, but she did not know what to do about it.

Maybe she had to prove them wrong by helping and listening to her people. Another thing she thought about was Turan's death.

Turan had been the person caring for the royal stables for some days, but Elsa's horse had kicked Turan hard in the face, killing him on the spot. The next thing she had to do after that incident was finding another person who was willing to take care of the stables, and she had known only one man to ask!

One morning she rode out with two guards and went towards the largest luxurious house in Arendelle. Kevin the blacksmith and his wife Isa lived in it, and it was known that Kevin used to be interested in working in the royal stables.

It was widely known that Kevin and Isa had become the most influential couple in town. Kevin's skills as a blacksmith had now surpassed Weasel's skills, whom most people believed had died in the fire years back. Isa had a weaving business and made more money than the whole of Arendelle´s small folks combined, resulting in gossip among the people in the city, about them and their private life. One of the things they talked about was that Kevin had wanted to take care of the royal stables when he was a child.

When she arrived at the door, she knocked on it and was greeted by Isa, who told her to come in and rest a little and made them some tea.

After some time getting to know each other, Elsa said, "Kevin, I was wondering if you would come and work for me? My stable boy has recently died, and I need someone to help take care of the stables. It is known that you used to dream of working in the royal stables as a child. It will be a part-time job really and it is well paid!"

That would mean Kevin had to split his work.

It required him to work two hours in the stables every day and the rest of the day would go with forging. He would make more money by looking after the horses for two hours a day, so he had agreed to take that job as well.

It had solved the stable problem and she could rest a little easier now.

Back in her room, she got up from the couch, went to the window and looked up at the clear black sky filled with stars, pondering her response to each of the letters.

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in" Elsa said.

Tamas stepped inside with a glass of green liquid. Thanks to this drink, Elsa had managed to get a good night's sleep without dreaming, and she felt more rested as a result. She had not heard the voice for a while either, except when she forgot to drink it, and then she had been twisting and turning in her bed, so Anna had to come in and comfort her.

"Your night drink is ready," he said.

"Thank you Tamas."

He put the drink on top of the table and was about to leave when Elsa asked, "Tamas, would you like to be an official member of my staff?"

"If you want me to be, then the answer is yes," he said calmly.

"Then you will be my new medicine man. I am glad to have you on board my staff."

Tamas gave a brief bow and left the room.

Elsa looked up upon the stars again and thought about her parents.

Would they have been proud of her? Did they look down on her from the stars, watching their daughters and all what was happening in their lives? Had they just died when their ship went down, and no one was watching over Anna and herself? She always found herself having so many questions, but no answers to them.

Elsa felt alone, scared even of what the unknown would bring, what would lie beyond the horizon and what time would bring her and do to her.

It was not an easy thing being the queen.

She wondered if her story would be remembered and if she would become a myth that parents would tell their kids or would her name and deeds be lost to the mist of time like so many other kings and queens before her.

She answered herself: "Time only knows…"

Chapter 22: Isa: A Cruel Joke

Isa had now been married to Kevin for just over four years and she had never regretted that decision. They got married when Kevin was seventeen years old, and Isa was sixteen. She was waiting for him to return home so they could be together again.

Isa was always going to remain faithful to her husband, even though his working hours were insane, for not only was he to make sure the royal horses were all right, but then he had to continue his work as a blacksmith, so it was long working hours for Kevin every day.

It did bring in a lot of money!

Before they were married, Isa had visited Kevin and Simon, while they were both hard at work, making horseshoes for the royal family along with a brand new sword!

"Hey Kevin!" she exclaimed when she saw him.

He immediately put down the sword and ran over to Isa, lifting her up in the air as he swung her around and started kissing her as if there was no tomorrow.

"Do not swallow her whole now!" Simon exclaimed.

Isa saw Kevin whispering into Simon´s ear and Simon nodded.

"Come on, let us go!" Kevin said and arm in arm they went for a walk.

"What did you say to him?" Isa asked.

"I asked if I could go take a break with you and my dad said I could, but it should not take too long..."

"Let us go to my house!" Isa said.

She had inherited the house after her parents, whom she had not seen in years and would never see again. They had gone to the kingdom of Corona for a business trip, trying to establish some contacts over there. They had met their untimely end when an earthquake caused a horse to run wild and the horse ran over them with a cart attached to it, so when they were run over, fortune had smiled down on them and made their death quick.

The earthquake did not leave any other damage to buildings or other people. Her parents were the only people that died that day.

"Isa, my beautiful niece, I have some bad news for you..." Miko said to her, when he was informed of the accident.

She knew it had something to do with her parents.

"What is the bad news?"

"Your parents have died because of an earthquake that caused a horse to run amok!"

The tears came flooding out of her eyes.

"No ... No ... No ... Not my parents!" she yelled and Miko gave her a hug.

"It is okay to cry my child," he said.

Over time, it became easier.

Kevin was always there for her, and she knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.

Her parents had been very rich and the house itself was very expensive, with furniture everywhere. There was a couch, chairs, and a large table.

She was very rich now.

She remembered that she and Kevin had laid down on that couch and she had rested her head against Kevin's hard chest.

"This is life...," she said.

"Isa, I am thinking about one thing," Kevin said and he sounded nervous, which made Isa wonder if something was wrong.

"What is it?" she asked.

"Marry me and be my wife."

A second after he said it, she kissed him, hungry for his touch, his lips, his warmth, and she was sure Kevin knew the kiss was meant to be a yes.

She had begun to remove his pants while feverishly removing her own long brown skirt and her underwear and she bent down and started rubbing his cock up and down while he moaned her name: "Isa ..."

When it was big enough, she guided it inside of her and felt absolute joy in being one with him again. Riding him as the royals were riding their horses, she wished they could stay like this, in this moment in this time, for an eternity. Their fingers entwined, she moaned with delight as she rode him.

She bent down and kissed him.

Then she asked, "Would you like to have children then?"

He managed to say, "A boy and a girl."

"I want it!" she continued, bringing his hands up to her breasts. He was playing with them, and Isa noticed that her body felt like it was on fire.

"When are we going to get married then?" she asked.

"Soon my beloved!"

"It feels so good..." Isa said.

"I going to cum!" Kevin exclaimed.

Isa rocked back and forward faster.

"YES ... YES ... YES ... It is okay Kevin ... Cum inside me!"

He ejaculated into her, and she reached her climax and fell on top of him like a doll whose strings had been cut.

"I love you so much!" she said.

"I love you too!" he answered.

She continued, "If Simon and Miko do not approve of our relationship, we will marry anyway whether they like it or not. I want to be your wife, Kevin; I want your children."

They were married in the city church ten days after.

Both Miko and Simon had attended the church as witnesses. Kevin and Isa just wanted a little ceremony. Miko and Simon talked a lot with each other as they dined on roasted pork with potatoes and gravy.

Kevin and Isa felt that they were in paradise, and they loved each other so much that they were sure if one of them died, the other would follow shortly after.

They did not want it any other way.

Kevin moved into her house, and it did not take long for Isa to vomit every morning, a clear sign of pregnancy. They both looked forward to being parents. They had been married for two years at that time.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" Kevin asked.

"I do not know, but I know the seed is strong and healthy."

"It is good to hear my love."

As with many things in life, things did not go as expected.

One day Isa was cleaning the dishes, when she suddenly felt her legs getting wet.

The only thing was that her legs did not get wet with water but blood and there was so much of it!

"KEVIN" she screamed, and in one swift move, Kevin was by her side.

"No, no, what is going on?"

"The baby, there is something wrong with our baby!"

She started screaming aloud, "The baby is coming out now!"

Kevin got her down on the floor as she started giving birth.

"No, no, no, not our child!" she cried out in despair!

Weakened and feeling as if she was in a dream, she found the strength to pick up her dead baby girl and held it in her arms.

"I am so sorry; I am so sorry my child. Please do not leave us please... please no, no, no, no, no, please do not leave!"

Kevin was crying as much as she did.

They had wanted to start a family so badly, but now it felt like the blanket had been pulled away from underneath them, as if life itself had made a cruel joke intended only for them and they had fallen hard for it.

They had the child buried in the local cemetery. The whole village attended the funeral. Kevin and Isa were the two most well liked people in town, and people came to say their condolences. An old man told them that although grief surrounded them now, it would get better over time, and he was sure they would heal and would be blessed with another child.

Their love remained stronger and purer than ever, but the pain and uncertainty of losing their child was something they both could not get over, and Isa lost her will to have children. The pain she had felt, she was not strong enough to go through it again.

Although it was never talked about and never would be, Kevin and Isa had a silent agreement not to try to have more children. They learned to move on and began to smile and laugh again, having sex with all their passion thrown into it. Isa could read Kevin's face as he was ejaculating, and though not a single word was spoken, they could read each other like an open book.

"Should I…?"

"No, do not do it inside."

Then one day he decided to talk to her about it: "Oh my love, you are the most precious being to me, and together we both lost our girl, who was valuable to us, but we could try again and this time I am sure everything is going to be okay..."

"I cannot do it Kevin. I really would, but I dread it. I dread it so badly."

She started to cry, and Kevin hugged her for what felt like an eternity.

"I dread having another child, I cannot do it Kevin. If it is, it would be better if you found another wife, a wife who could offer you a full family..."

"Never speak such words again, my beloved, never do it again! I am yours. If that really is, the way you feel about it when it comes to trying again, then we will not. We are happy together, are we not?"

"Yes, we are ..." she said.

However, it was the most foolish lie she had ever said, and she hated herself for saying it.

She was trapped in the moment when she said it.

She was not happy.

The wounds she had suffered for the loss of her daughter were more than she could take. She had gotten out of bed and went down to the beach one dark night, looking out at the horizon and wishing she slept peacefully under the sea, her soul with her dead girl. That was not too much to wish for, right?

To be reunited with her little girl, that was waiting for her to come and protect her.

She began to go out into the sea.

"Isa, no!"

She could hear her husband yelling behind her. She had not been as quiet as she thought she had been. She began to run towards the water as Kevin managed to get his arms around her.

"Let me go!" she screamed at him. "Let me go you... Let me go... Let me just die... Let me go!"

"I will never let go of you!"

She began to cry again, and she fell to her knees and hid her face in her hands as her body shook with all the raw feelings she was going through. He hugged her close to his own body, trying to put all his love for her into her.

"I am so sorry," she cried. "I am so sorry!"

She fell asleep in his arms. When she woke up the next morning in their house, she went downstairs and saw Kevin sitting at the dining table eating an apple.

"Do you want me to make you breakfast?" he asked.

"Yes, I would like that, thanks."

After that morning, things returned to normal again for both and two years passed, and in those years Kevin and Isa really found each other again, and they had passionate sex again as they were used too! Then Arendelle was frozen with ice, and they both lived through it, even though it was extremely cold.

Even in their own house!

Elsa returned, the winter stopped, and Hans was arrested. A few weeks later, Queen Elsa even sought out Kevin and asked him if he would look after the Royal Horses and have a part-time job because another boy called Turan was dead after he was kicked in the face by the Queen's own horse!

Kevin had agreed to the offer, and he was paid a high salary, so he spent his time on two jobs: taking care of the horses and blacksmithing.

Everything was going good for both, but they never forgot their dead baby girl.

Chapter 23: Anna: The Love Between Sisters

Anna was sitting next to her sister at the long dining table as the waiters entered with the soup. She was wearing a black dress and Elsa wearing her ice queen dress.

"Oh, I am hungry!" Anna said, looking at her sister.

Deep plates with hot tomato soup was placed in front of them along with some bread. The servants left again, and Anna and Elsa were alone together. Anna enjoyed being alone with her sister more than anything else in the whole world. She also enjoyed her time with Kristoff, but she enjoyed time with her sister the most.

She had been thinking about Kristoff a lot lately. She really loved him, and after the time they had spent together, she wondered if it was a good idea to marry him. She knew it would probably be a good idea because she loved him, but she wondered if Kristoff wanted such a commitment.

"So, Elsa" she said. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yes, Anna. Tamas has provided me with his mysterious drinks. I am completely gone when I drink them. I do not dream bad dreams, so it is also wonderful!"

"Tamas..." Anna thought.

Tamas was a great mystery. She had tried several times to have a long conversation with Tamas, but he was not the talking type. She was grateful that he was able to help her sister, but at the same time, she felt that Tamas was hiding something. Something Elsa should know about, but Anna could not point out what that could be. She did not want to point fingers at a hunchback like that. Not unless she had evidence against him, if there were even any evidence of wrongdoing to be found at all.

"It is good to know that you seem so fresh again." Anna said, dipping her bread in tomato soup and taking a bite out of it.

"What do you think of Tamas?" Elsa asked.

Anna swallowed her food.

"Well, he seems so mysterious to the point where I am sure he can read people's minds!"

"Yeah, I know what you are talking about. Every time he talks, he is straight and to the point, but he does not do anything I do not want him to do, and he seems to have an incredibly thirst for knowledge of everything."

That was true.

Anna had thought of Tamas and early one morning, she had been ready to find him, when she opened her door and found him standing there just outside her room.

"I was about to knock on your door," he said to the surprised Anna. "Do you have any request for me?" he asked calmly.

"Yes, actually I have ... Do you have all the things needed to make that special drink for Elsa?"

"I have everything needed to create the sleeping potion."

"Well, okay Tamas. It really was that. I just wanted to be sure."

Tamas turned around as she continued.

"Wait, I just want you to know what you are doing for my sister, I can never thank you enough for that. If there is something you need Tamas, just ask me!"

Tamas did not smile, but he had a very serious look on his face.

Then he said, "So far I have spent my time in the medicine room and in the kitchen. I noticed that this castle has a library, I would like to spend some time in it."

The library contained many books, both regular once, but it also contained some rare books, and they were almost untouched, and used more for display, or they were sealed off with only Kai and Gerda allowed in.

Anna had looked at him, with curiosity in her eyes.

"I was always fond of books," he continued. "Surely this will not pose a problem?"

"I have no problem with that, but I do not know what the Queen would say."

"She does not mind."

"Have you asked her?"

"No."

"Then you cannot know that."

"But I do," he said.

Anna could sense something in the way he said that which made her wonder if this hunchback was telling the truth about himself being far from home. Elsa had given him permission a few hours later, so Tamas spent most of his time in the library now.

"I wondered if it would be the best idea to fire him," Anna told her sister.

Elsa looked at her with piercing eyes as if to read Anna's mind.

"I do not really know now if I really heard a voice," Elsa said. "Ever since Tamas started making these drinks, I have not heard anything at all. Maybe the voice was just in my head."

"Do you really think so?"

"No, I know what I heard in my mind."

"Then why bring it up?"

"I am thinking out loud."

They continued to eat in silence.

"Well Anna, I do not mean to be so curious, but I wonder a little about you and Kristoff. Are you serious about seeing each other, or not?"

Anna thought for a moment.

"Kristoff is a good man, but we are still taking it slow. How about you Elsa? Have you seen any big fish in the pond?"

Elsa had some soup in her mouth, but she was not prepared for the question getting out of Anna like that, and Anna saw Elsa's soup come out again when it was spit out, and Elsa started coughing and laughing at the same time. Anna's stomach ached so much because of laughter. She could not remember the last time she and her sister had laughed so hard and for so long together.

"But serious Elsa, have you thought of anyone?"

"No, I have not Anna" and Elsa started laughing again.

After finishing their meal, they went to Elsa's private chambers, sat on the couch, drank tea, and ate gingerbread. They both enjoyed each other's company very much.

Elsa looked at her sister and said, "Anna, there is something I need to talk to you about."

Anna looked at her sister nervously, "What's the matter?"

"I need to talk to you about Hans."

Anna had stiffened:" What about that monster?"

"He is involved in my dreams when I have them. When I saw Hans in my dream, he had changed and worse, his eyes had turned icy blue, and he looked like a person who had lost all the heat in his body!"

"And what is your point?"

"The point I am trying to make is, what if my dreams are glimpses of the future? What if my powers gives me the ability to see things happening in the future for in my dreams I kill you, Anna! I killed a young mother with her child, they were frozen in time!"

Anna looked at her and said, "I think the whole Hans incident and your powers can affect your dreams. It might be best to just block them and ignore them."

Anna put her arm around her sister. She wanted to do something for her no matter what it was.

She wanted to be the one to have the nightmares so Elsa could be happy again, but thanks to Tamas elixir, she had gotten a little better lately, and Anna was happy about it. Anna kissed her sister's forehead and Elsa seemed to get in a better mood again.

Elsa lay down on the couch, looked up at Anna and asked, "Are you staying in my room tonight?"

Anna laid on top of her: "Yes, if you want me to my dear sister."

"I want you to."

"Then I will stay."

Anna kissed her sister on the forehead again when Elsa wrapped her arms around Anna's neck and held her within kissing distance, and suddenly Elsa said, "I am so glad I have you Anna. I would not know what to do without you."

Anna felt excited and afraid she would get red cheeks that would give her away, but it was already too late when Elsa giggled.

Then Elsa announced, "I have always wondered what it would feel like to be with another woman, and by the looks of your red cheeks, so have you."

Anna could not deny it, but she never imagined doing it with her own sister when they were related by blood, but then again, she wondered why she had not thought about it. She was quite surprised at the time when she saw her sister in her magnificent ice castle. As Elsa stood there at the top of the stairs in her long blue dress, she had revealed her legs and with her long, blonde hair loosened, Anna had been in shock at how beautiful her sister was.

Elsa said, "It is okay you know ..."

Anna kissed Elsa on her soft lips, and she was immediately afraid that the whole world would explode, but nothing happened. Except Elsa kissed her back. They lay on that couch kissing each other, not wild but slow, and Anna felt her body getting more and more heated up.

Elsa performed a bit of magic and slowly opened her dress up almost as if there had been buttons on the front of it. Anna felt her cheeks turn very red as Elsa's dress slowly opened from the top, revealing her perfectly shaped body and her round breasts, not too big or too small, revealing her flat tummy and further down showing her panties and long legs.

"Your body is mine tonight!" Anna said and kissed Elsa on her lips, then moved down and kissed Elsa on her stomach and came down to Elsa's panties.

Anna felt Elsa's hand on her cheek, looked at Elsa and saw her give her the warmest smile she had ever seen in her entire life. Anna removed Elsa's panties and slowly began to lick her sister's most sacred place, and Elsa began to moan out of joy and happiness. When Anna licked her, she looked at Elsa and saw that she had closed her eyes and Anna was astonished that Elsa tasted like vanilla ice cream, and Anna could only imagine her doing this forever.

Elsa moaned loudly: "YES, YES ANNA, IT FEELS SO GOOD, YOU ARE SUCH A GOOD SISTER, UHH," Elsa touched Anna's cheeks and said, "Come back here again."

Anna did, and she kissed Elsa long and passionately, almost hoping that they would become one with each other!

Elsa told Anna to lie down, and Elsa got on top of her and got Anna's dress off. Anna felt more vulnerable than she had ever done before in her life, and that said a lot when she thought about Hans almost managing to kill her and her sister.

Elsa went down and started sucking on Anna's nipples and Anna felt as if she was burning inside, sweat starting to appear on her body. She could see Elsa enjoying it as much as she did.

Suddenly Elsa stopped and grabbed Anna's legs and spread them apart. Then she did something that Anna would never forget. Elsa started rubbing her own vagina against her and Anna was almost screaming with pure joy.

"YES, ELSA, YES, YES, it feels so good."

The sweat rolled down from them both as they were now in this position and Anna felt herself reaching her climax. Anna felt her muscles contract as she began to have her orgasm.

"UHH."

Elsa began to have an orgasm and dropped down on top of Anna, and Anna could feel Elsa's heartbeat against her own body. Anna wrapped her legs around her sister and hugged her tightly. She loved her sister so much and she would not let go of her again!

Elsa came to herself again and kissed Anna some more and then she said, "Let us say this is the only time we did this Anna. I want you to know that I love you so much, but it would be better if we did not repeat this. We cannot risk anyone discovering what we just did!"

Anna had to agree with her, and it was probably the best thing to do, at least for now.

Chapter 24: Nell: Burn

The day she was raped was the day her world crumbled around her, and it was a stroke of luck that had helped her get away from the castle. She had managed to keep a low profile in town while she was looking for a way to get out of the Southern Isles. She had come to the realization that she had no money to help her survive, but she had to get away!

There was no way to tell what Hans would do to her if she were to be discovered to still reside within the kingdom. She decided to take a chance and she went down to the harbor. She was looking for a ship that could take her far away.

She found the ship "Whirlwind", which was a ship that could take her to Arendelle, and she saw how the crew loaded up the cargo the ship would sail with. She boarded and asked a woman where she could find the captain.

"He is in his cabin," she replied, going back to work.

Nell walked over to the captain's cabin, knocked on the door, and a deep voice replied, "Come in!"

She opened the door and went into his cabin.

The cabin was like most other cabins on ships. There was a table and a chair, a bed, and a bookcase, which contained books of many kinds and just behind the table was a treasure chest. The captain himself was an old man with gray hair and Nell could see that his left eye was blind.

"Excuse me sir ..." Nell started. "I was wondering if I can travel with this ship. I have no money, but I can work if it would take me across the sea?"

The captain looked at her and she knew immediately what the answer was.

"No."

"Please sir, I will do whatever you ask!"

"My answer will still be no. Either you pay for the trip, or you get out of here. Do you understand?"

"I understand it perfectly. I am sorry I asked. I pray to the gods that this ship will sink!" she said with the coldest voice she could muster and went outside and left the ship.

The captains "No" had put a damper on her plans. She had to make some money somehow, whatever it might take.

Nell tried to keep her head held high as she went from store to store in search for work so she could make some money. However, there was no one willing to give her one, and she felt like she was ready to collapse and die at that moment.

She could seek one last place for some work. The inn could possibly be a place where she could find some work, but she was not sure.

She reached the inn, entered through the doors, and found that the inn was empty except for the innkeeper, who was walking around, cleaning tables.

"Hi!" she said in a shaky voice. "I was wondering if you need someone for a job. I am kind of out of one and I am a hard worker. You would not regret hiring me!"

The innkeeper walked over to her and stopped right in front of her.

"What is your name?" he asked.

Nell knew it would be a better idea not to give him her real name.

"My name is Lisa."

"Well Lisa, I want to know where you worked in the past."

"Well, I worked as a girl for a rich couple in the East, and I worked hard, so I wonder if it is good enough to be working here?"

"I need someone to take care of the bar from time to time."

Nell felt her heart calm down again. She was sure she would get this job.

"Okay, I hire you!" the innkeeper said, and Nell could have screamed in delight.

"My name is Tim and I, as you have probably guessed, own this fine establishment. If you would kindly follow me, please."

She followed him up the stairs and saw him open a door to a very comfortable room. The room contained a bed and a table and chairs and there was a rug on the floor. By the looks of it, it looked like this rug was expensive, even though it was not knew any longer.

"This is your new home!" he said. "I live next to this room. I expect you to work hard from now on."

That is what she did. She worked hard. After a few days, she got used to standing at the bar and she got used to the men as they started flirting with her the more, they drank.

She could take it.

She had to.

Nell still knew it would be dangerous to stay in the Southern Isles and she knew very well that if Hans came looking for her, she could be in danger.

However, Hans never came, and time passed, and she celebrated her thirtieth birthday. She thought about it. She was the same age as Hans, and again she was reminded of that terrible day in the middle of the garden of roses. She had been prepared to leave the Southern Isles after receiving her money for her hard work, but as time went on and Hans never showed up, she thought it was a good idea to stay and work for Tim as he was a good man.

Then one day, Tim told her some news that made her heart dance with pure joy. Hans had tried to take over Arendelle's throne, but he was stopped before he succeeded, and he was now on his way back to the Isles for his execution!

She wanted to be there when it happened. She needed some closure for the thing that had happened to her. Then she thought about the fear she had felt.

She had been raped, there was no doubt about it, but she was still alive, and she had often asked herself why he had not killed her back then?

The only explanation she could come up with was that she had just been very lucky. Lucky to the point where it was almost illegal!

It had to be!

A few days went by when she thought about this, but one day as she stood in the middle of her room contemplating her life, she suddenly heard a lot of noise from downstairs and many screams and suddenly someone shouted, "Someone is up there on the first floor!"

She did not know what was going on, but from the sound of that scream it could not be anything good going on, and suddenly she felt herself getting scared again!

Her door was kicked open and without realizing what she was doing, she found herself in a corner, her back against the wall!

As a man approached her, she cried out, "PLEASE DO NOT KILL ME! I have not done anything wrong!"

"I thought so," the man said. "But you will still have to die today."

He walked over to her, grabbed her by the arms, and pulled her up. Nell was powerless in his grasp and her thoughts returned to her sister Anita, whom she had not seen in many years now, and now she knew she would never get the chance to see her again.

So, this was how it was going to end?

Was this how she was going out?

Killed with the sword by an unknown brute like so many other victims downstairs.

It just was not fair.

Why were all the bad things happening to her?

She looked up at her attacker and realized that he had stopped in the middle of what he had been doing, and she saw that his gaze was trying to see right through her, almost as if he were trying to learn all her deepest and darkest of secrets!

Then he suddenly asked, "Do you have a sister?"

Her thoughts stayed with her sister Anita.

"What does this have to do with anything?" was the only thing she could hear herself say.

She felt his knuckles upon her lips and a searing pain made her eyes water as blood came dripping down from a busted lip.

The pain was unbearable!

"DO YOU HAVE A SISTER?" he yelled.

Nell had no choice and with a whimper she answered, "Yeah, yeah, I once had. Do not kill me."

"Is her name Anita?"

Nell looked at him in shock. She was speechless. The fact that this brute of a man knew her sister could only mean one thing.

Her sister was still alive. Somewhere Anita was alive!

"Yes, her name is Anita. How do you know?"

However, he ignored her question and instead asked, "Is your name Nell?"

Nell was now sure it was her sister, who this brute of a man knew, "Yes, how..."

However, before she could finish her sentence, she was swallowed by a blissful darkness of peace and nothingness.

She woke up and she realized that the brute had knocked her unconscious instead of taking her life. However, she came to the upsetting realization that she had been unconscious while the inn was burning, and her room began to fill up with smoke.

She looked towards the table and the rug underneath it. That rug was worth a lot of money, and she knew she had to get it before it caught on fire. That rug was a way for her to get some extra money for her employer could not be among the living so he would not care.

She would light a candle for him later if she got out of the burning building alive.

By sheer willpower to stay conscious and trying to hold her breath for as long as she could, she managed to move the table and roll up the rug. Then she managed to get over to the drawer at the desk, and she quickly opened one of the drawers, which contained a rather large bag filled with gold coins.

Her payment for all the hard work she had done.

Now she could only try to get away from a scorching end.

Three wooden posts that were holding up the roof had caught on fire, and she knew as she headed down the stairs with the heavy rug that it would not be long before the roof was going to collapse on top of her and ending her life.

She was obsessed with the idea of seeing her sister again and it kept her going. That was until she saw Tim's corpse, which lay next to other corpses without heads, and she knew she had to do something, which was madness in her own mind.

She had not received the coins he owed her for this month's hard work, and she only wanted to take the money he owed her, so she put down the rug. However, she realized she should not have done that as some of the roof came down towards her and landed on top of Tim's corpse and the rug, which was starting to burn.

"Damn my luck!" she said to herself, running towards the door that led to life itself.

She hoped she could get out of it, hoping the door was not blocked by anything. The door was not locked so she managed to get out into a stormy weather.

She heard a loud noise behind her and saw that the roof of the building had completely collapsed. She had her big bag and there was enough money in it to buy safe passage across the seas, towards which destination she did not know yet.

She could buy herself a one-way ticket away from the Southern Isles.

As she ran towards the harbor, she suddenly heard many noises from many people, all of whom had gathered close to the castle.

"Hans´s execution!" she said to herself.

This was not something she would miss. Even if it could bring her into harm's way, she wanted to see Hans die.

Chapter 25: Olaf: The Wrong Hug

Olaf was on the beach enjoying the warm summer air against his face. As a snowman, it was expected that he would melt, but Olaf was not just any snowman.

He was very much alive.

The snow cloud floating over his head was his personal one, which kept him cold, so he did not melt away. Elsa had created him when her true magical potential was unleashed and gave him life. He enjoyed everything there was to life, and he wanted it to last if it could.

For a snowman, he was easily excited.

He had thought of his own life as well as his death. He knew that as long as Elsa were alive, he would be alive. When she got old and died one day, his cloud would disappear, leaving him open to death´s tight grip. When that time came, he had thought he would travel up to the mountains and stay there during the summer, so he was protected from the heat.

However, he had reconsidered this plan several times.

Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Sven were all his friends, but Elsa was not just a friend, but she was his creator, and he kept asking the same questions.

When all his friends were gone from this world, would he himself go on living, or would he rather leave this world with them?

He realized that one day he had to answer these questions, and that day was not one he was looking forward to either. So instead, he concentrated on the present and enjoyed life to the fullest.

There were many people on the beach this summer and people were getting used to him walking around the kingdom. The children were in awe of the talking snowman, to the point where all the children almost regarded him as a higher being than themselves.

Olaf was slowly getting a cult following among the children, but he did not understand it himself. After all, he had been built on memories of childhood innocence so that he did not understand the whole cult thing that he had achieved.

He just saw the kids and the adults as his friends.

"Hey, it's Olaf and he likes warm hugs!" a child exclaimed.

"That is right, I do!"

The children loved him and played with him all day, and Olaf found himself building sandcastles and playing the princess in children's games.

He did not mind it at all. It was just fun to play all the games. Olaf's personality was contagious on all the people who met him. Even people who had never seen him before! One time a ship from Corona had arrived in Arendelle with goods for trade, and the people on board the ship had been both shocked and fascinated by the snowman.

The stories of the living, talking snowman, born of innocence and magic, spread throughout the realm of Corona, but soon the stories were in all five kingdoms. He had become quite famous and soon found himself the unofficial mascot of the city, drawing thousands of visitors to the city. These people spent a lot of money in the city, resulting in new construction projects that created work for many people, which also led to people immigrating to the city.

Sales of ice blocks and tourists had become Arendelle's main sources of income. Olaf, however, did not notice this at all. Olaf was always welcome in the castle and he could come in and leave it as he pleased.

"This castle is also your home Olaf!" Elsa had told him. "The gates will never be closed to you."

He was at the castle many times, but eventually made a request to Elsa.

He asked her if she would finance the construction of a small cabin on the beach so he could live there.

"Olaf, I will always help you!" Elsa had said with a sweet smile on her lips.

Three days later the cabin was completed.

Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Sven had all been present when Olaf moved into his new home. He loved it so and to complete his new home, he had asked for a painting of himself with Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and himself on it so that he could hang it on his wall so he could always look at it.

The painting was eventually made, and it had become the most valuable thing he owned more than his own carrot nose, which tended to come out of his head in the most annoying ways.

"We all love you Olaf! Do not forget it!" they had all said to him.

He was spending many a night in his new home, which was very comfortable, as Elsa had also made sure Olaf got some of the best furniture you could get.

Because he was a snowman, he did not have to buy food or wine, he did not even need the furniture, but they came in handy when his friends visited him, or the kids wanted to visit him. Even though he did not need food himself, he found himself making cookies for his friends and the kids.

The snow cloud protected him from the heat of the fire as he was baking cakes. Olaf knew how to make cookies as he was born out of memories and Elsa had learned how to bake when she was a child. Her memories were not transferred to him, but her knowledge and skills had.

He just thought he could bake because of the beginner's luck. He eventually found himself in the castle kitchens alongside Anna and the rest of the staff. Here he was learning new recipes, but also how to make the best meals, skills and knowledge that could come in handy one day!

"Oh Olaf, you are so good at baking and cooking, I am so proud of you!" Anna told him one day and kissed him on the head.

Olaf never forgot the things he was told. He never forgot a recipe, never forgot a skill, and he did not forget the things people said to him.

Now he was currently reading a book feeling good about his life, but then he decided to find Elsa and find out what she had been up too.

A long walk later, he found himself in Elsa's private chambers. Elsa sat at the desk and wrote a letter.

"Hi Elsa, do you want a warm hug?" Olaf asked her.

"Hi Olaf, yes, I would like a hug!"

They hugged each other for a moment.

"So, Elsa, what are you doing right now?"

"I am talking to you silly!"

They both laughed at that.

"No, I am seriously in the middle of writing some letters to the other four kingdoms, with answers to the letters they send me!"

"Oh ... and what are your answers to those letters whose contents I know nothing about?"

"Well, I wrote to the Kingdom of Corona that I would like to visit them in the future, but royal duties stop me from going. Then I wrote to the Sultan of Tehomia that his thoughts about helping me was very much appreciated but not necessary, but if it were then I would contact him for help. Then I wrote to the Northern Kingdoms that I was open to talking about trade between our kingdoms."

Elsa made a brief pause.

"What else?" Olaf asked her.

"The last letter I have to write is a response to the Southern Isles!"

Olaf immediately tensed up.

"What did the letter say?" he asked.

"Just that I should be open to trade with them and the king apologized for Hans's behavior."

"What is your answer?"

"I do not know yet."

There was another knock on the door.

"Who is it?" Elsa asked.

"It is just a little old me Elsa."

It was Anna's voice.

"Anna, come in," Elsa replied.

Anna came into the room.

"Hey Anna, come and give me a warm hug!" Olaf said as he smiled from ear to ear.

Anna bent over and gave the snowman a hug. Olaf felt something as he hugged Anna. It was as if she was not really trying to put all her love into it as she used to.

Olaf decided to be sure.

"Anna, I understand something is wrong."

"What do you mean by that Olaf?"

"I do not know, it was just, it was probably just my imagination."

Elsa looked from Anna to Olaf, then back again.

"So, Anna, what can I do for you?"

"I was just thinking about something. It is about the Sultan of Tehomia. His big ice order, it would take months, maybe even years, to complete it, as all ice must be transported over land..."

"So?"

"Well, Kristoff told me that the Sultan had sent a letter to you expressing to you that he would help you in any way he could."

"Yes, that is right ..."

"So, what I would like to know is what your response to his request is?"

"I will tell him not to send anyone."

"But then it can take years to transport all that ice!"

"So?"

"Nothing! I just wanted to warn you how long it would take."

Olaf had observed the whole conversation.

He felt that Anna was behaving strangely, though he could not figure out what was wrong with her.

"It is the wisest course of action not to allow so many of his men into my kingdom."

"Ask the Sultan if he could only send some elephants and some people to control them. That way the work gets done so much faster."

Elsa got an angry look on her face and asked, "Are you giving me an order?"

Olaf studied Anna's face.

It was Anna, it was, but why did she seem so strange? Why did she just give Elsa something that sounded like an order?

He could see Anna had a hard look on her face.

"Excuse me for just helping you, Your Majesty!" she said in and almost childish tone that sounded strange, "But since you don't appreciate my company or my ideas, then get your own ideas yourself!"

With those last words, she left the room, leaving Olaf and Elsa to look at each other in disbelief.

"What was all that about?" Olaf asked Elsa, who looked just as surprised as he did.

"I do not know, and I do not want to know right now. I have so much work to do, and it does not help that my sister is talking to me like that!"

Olaf thought about that strange behavior Anna had shown as he walked back to his home on the beach near midnight. He was standing and looking up on that painting, when he noticed that he had a strange feeling that did not seem to go away.

A sense of dread, such as if all he knew and loved was about to be taken away from him, but he told himself to relax a little, nothing would change, but then again, why did Anna feel so different when he hugged her?

"Calm down Olaf!" he said to himself and went to the couch and lay down on it. "It is just your imagination! Nothing is wrong with Anna, do not worry!"

Another thing about Olaf was that he could dream, just like a human being, and as he slept, he began to dream troubled dreams. In his dream, he saw ships, hundreds of ships, heading for Arendelle. He stood on top of a high cliff and looked down on the ships, and he had no doubt, what those ships were planning to do.

Then he felt a hand upon his neck and he was suddenly lifted into the air and he looked into two red eyes of a shadow of a man.

The Shadow said, "Nobody is ever going to think this is going to happen until it is too late, little one! You cannot change it no matter how much you try. I will get my revenge and then everyone will know the pain and fear when I am done with them!"

The shadow held Olaf over the cliff and let go of him, and Olaf fell towards his death, but was he was saved, when he woke up.

Chapter 26: Nell: A Violent Crowd

She was near the castle now, and now she thought she would eventually witness Hans´s death. When she saw all the other people who were also here at the entrance to the castle, she thought that Hans had to be the most hated person on the Southern Isles for that many people to turn up.

However, when something out of the ordinary was going to happen, people would be there, no matter who it was that needed hanging. For the ordinary people, it was a different entertainment.

Then Nell saw something, which made her heart skip a few beats and she could not believe her own eyes. She saw the people gathered around thirteen wooden crosses. King Walter, and his wife and their eleven sons were hanging from them.

Nell felt like throwing up. She had never seen such a terrible sight, and she had come out of a burning building!

The blood ran down from King Walter's mouth, and his queen hung from the cross, naked as the day she was born. Someone had taken advantage of her body, for Nell could see bruises around her neck and elsewhere around her body. The eleven royal children were missing some limps.

Nell was glad Prince Alexander did not hang from a cross. She had served many customers at the inn, some of them had talked about the funeral that Prince Alexander had received, and how beautiful the ceremony was, and it had filled Nell with pleasure to know that he had a funeral suitable for a king. She only wished all the other royal people had received the same treatment.

Suddenly the gates to the castle courtyard opened and Hans appeared next to the same man who had knocked her down!

The man who was probably responsible for the burning of the inn and Tim's death and everyone else in the inn!

Guards ran over to the crowd and stood still in front of them, ready to knock them down if they had to!

Hans laughed aloud as he walked over to the crosses.

Then he said, "Dear citizens, we stand on the threshold of one king's rule and another one's rule, mine!"

Nobody said anything...

"My family were sadistic people who would do what they wanted to do. As you all might have heard, I tried to take over Arendelle's throne, but I had no choice in that matter! I arrived in Arendelle and met the Queens sister Anna, whom I spent a lovely evening with, but it turned out that the Queen herself had the ability to manipulate cold and after threatening her sister and me and everyone else in the ball room, Queen Elsa ran away, but not until she threatened her own people first."

Nobody said anything, not even the birds sang their songs."

"Anna tried to find her sister again and gave me the responsibility for the whole kingdom. I helped her people as best as I could. When Anna did not come back, I set out on a rescue attempt to find both Anna and the Queen herself. It was a quick journey and we managed to pick up both sisters. Anna died because her sister had the wickedness to freeze her own sister's heart."

People started to grumble at this point. They could not believe that the Queen of Arendelle was a witch with the ability to control ice.

"The queen broke out of her confinement and tried to get away. To stop the winter, I had to kill the queen, but Anna intervened because of her love for the sibling who had tried to kill her. The only reason I did it at first was because I wanted to save Arendelle's people from the jaws of death!"

More muttering came from the crowd. Nell had seen his speech and she had to give it to Hans. He was an amazing speaker and people would believe anything and everything he said!

She saw the man who had attacked her. He would be able to help her find her sister, if she could get near him.

"I was arrested and sent home again after the Queen managed to cast a spell on her sister and the people of Arendelle, so they believed everything she said. They have threatened us with war, so we will give Arendelle war!"

People in the crowd started cheering and shouting, "WAR!"

"ARENDELLE'S PEOPLE WANT WAR WITH US, SO WE SHOULD GIVE IT TO THEM!" Hans shouted out, and the crowd was almost in a trance as they shouted, "Kill! Kill! Kill!"

Hans gave orders to some people to make sure the crosses were carried around the kingdom so people could spit on the royal corpses.

Nell was terrified. She knew what kind of man Hans was, and she believed everything he said was nothing more than a cruel lie.

"I have one more thing to do!" he said to the crowd.

The audience became silent once again.

"The representative from Arendelle, what should we do with her?" He cried out.

The crowd shouted back, "Kill her, kill her, kill the pig and feed her to the dogs!" and Hans´s lips formed a sadistic smile.

The guards brought Gerda out in front of the crowd so they all could see her. Hans walked over to her and kicked her hard in both kneecaps, causing Gerda to scream and fall to the ground.

Then they all heard dogs barking. Six dogs were held back with a leash that two of the guards held.

"Come here with the leashes!" Hans commanded.

They gave him the leashes and Nell caught a glimpse of Hans´s sadistic smile, and to her sheer terror and before her frightened eyes he unleashed his dogs on Gerda.

It was terrible to see what happened next!

The dogs ran as fast as they could towards the screaming Gerda and began to sink their white sharp teeth into her flesh as she screamed in pain!

She hit the dog's heads with a closed fist in a futile attempt to fight them, but it only resulted in the dogs becoming more aggressive!

Nell watched as if she were mesmerized and she could not look away, but since she was behind the crowd, and as she had her concentration on the horror show before her, she did not see Hans disappearing from the scene.

Someone yelled, "The Inn is on fire!" and people turned away from the bloody scene behind them and saw she smoke coming up from behind them.

People began rushing towards the inn, to manage the fire that had become more noticeable, so Nell did not hear Hans coming up from behind her, and she was surprised as he put his hand in front of her mouth, and she was powerless to resist as he began to pull her away, all without anyone noticing!

"So, it really was you!" she heard him say. "I was in doubt when I noticed you Nell, but then it hit me that it had to be you! I thought you had run away, but all the time you were just hiding in the capital and hiding from me in plain sight, but now the hiding is over!"

Nell was dragged all the way to an empty barn where she would again experience the same terror.

As soon as they were in, Hans pushed her hard against a wall, still with his hand on her mouth, and then he said, "I will enjoy this!"

She would not give up without a fight, but what could she really do for Hans was faster, stronger and he was psychotic. She managed to open her mouth and bite his fingers, so he screamed, and he let her go, but it only helped to make him even angrier.

Before she could respond, he hit her in the face so hard that she fell into a stack of hay, which fortunately saved her from hitting the ground hard.

"I want to enjoy this, Nell!" she heard him say, and before she knew what was happening, he was on top of her, and he forced her panties off her. Pulling his own pants down, he forced himself inside her while blocking her noises with his hand.

Nell cried.

Her tears ran down her face. All the pain and everything she had been through it just seemed like it did not have an end.

She heard him make a loud noise and she felt something sticky inside her, and this time he was far deep inside her.

"It felt good!" he said, and before she could try to respond, the door to the barn almost flew open and a man, who was heavily built, came running towards Hans.

Nell was so exhausted that her world went black.

When she woke up again, Hans and the man were gone.

She was laying down and felt more dead than alive, and yet she knew she could not stop. She had to keep going, despite everything that had happened to her, she had to keep going, or she would perish for real. All she needed was to get down to the port and hope there were still ships ready to take her far away from the Southern Isles.

A terrible thought came to her.

She usually carried her pouch under her cloth, but a terrible realization occurred to her. Her pouch with all her coins was gone.

She wanted to cry, but she would not give in and slowly but steadily she rose to her feet again and searched the hay for the pouch. It was not there. All her months of hard work and all what she had been through.

It was all for nothing.

One of life's cruel jokes, only crazy people would laugh at. She left the barn and did not meet a single person in sight. She would be dead unless she started stealing again, something she did not want to do.

Without thinking about it, she walked down towards the harbor. The world felt out of focus, and she could not feel anything. It was as if she were completely empty, and she could not think straight. She passed ship after ship and finally returned to the ship "Whirlwind".

She boarded and discovered the crewmembers' mutilated corpses. That scene would have shocked someone else, but it did not shock her anymore. She got off the ship again, and then she saw a black muscular man approach her.

"Excuse me, I saw you and I wanted to know, if I can help you with anything?"

"I ... I just ... I just want to get away from these Isles ..."

"I am heading to the Kingdom of Arendelle, Miss ..."

"I am not married ..."

"Okay ... will you get on board my ship The Time Bandit?"

"I do not ... I have nothing to pay you with."

"You look like someone in danger, so I will help you. You can get on board the ship for free."

Nell found herself hugging the man, almost as if her life depended on it.

"What is your name?" She asked.

"My name is Cliff."

"My name is Nell."

"Well Nell, let me show you aboard."

"The Time Bandit" was a small but fast ship, and it did not take long before they were sailing away from Southern Isles with the destination set on Arendelle.

Nell stood close to the ship's edge, and no one seemed to notice that she was silently crying. However, this time they were tears of joy as she was finally out of Hans´s reach and was now leaving the only home she had ever known. A home that had brought pain and suffering to her, but now it all seemed to be over. Now she was only hoping that the trip across the sea would be an easy one and she was hoping with all her heart that there were no more surprises in store for her.

However, she had a sinking feeling that with the way her luck was going, it would always be far from over. At least there seemed to be a pause in her troubles for now.

Chapter 27: Kasim: A Conversation with Scheherazade

His mother was crying again. Scheherazade had always been a woman of great strength, but now her walls were slowly coming down and Kasim knew that, but it was difficult for him to help her.

Nothing he said could take away the pain of a mother losing her child, but that the loss had been so violent made everything seem bad. Scheherazade was crying when she thought she was alone, but she was never alone. Kasim was a dutiful son that watched his mother from afar.

He was afraid that she was going to commit to such an action that may have seen her end her own life, and Kasim did not want his mother to die. He did not know how it felt to be her, and all he could really do was give her a hug and tell her that he was going to be there for her, for he knew that his own father was not going to be there for her.

Scheherazade could put as much makeup on as she wanted to hide the blue marks against her own body, but the fact of the matter was that sultan Ali had started to abuse his wife. Kasim had seen the change in his father right before his eyes himself.

Kasim missed his little brother, but he could not bring him back. It was an unfortunate situation that could not be changed, Razul was dead, he was not coming back, and the only thing Kasim could do, was to try to be the best man that he could be and help his father and his mother.

Scheherazade was crying so much these days and his father had become almost near silent and was not speaking unless he had too. Kasim knew that for Scheherazade, it was the dead of her son, which made her so sad and filled her with grief. For the sultan there was also something else, that filled him with endless amount of grief and Kasim were certain that he knew what that was.

It was the fact that magic was used to kill Razul. This Zuldrak apparently thought it easy to kill little children, while Zuldrak could remain unseen to do it that was thoughts that must be occupying his father thoughts. At the very least, these thoughts occupied his own.

Who was this Zuldrak? Why did his brother have to die? He was just a little kid that never did anything bad. He was not evil, and he did not hurt anyone, so why did he have to die? What was this all for?

Kasim had noticed the changes in the sultan as well. Once he was so cheerful and all smiles, now he was no longer smiling, only talking when he had to do so, and where the throne room once had been filled with joy, laughter, artist, and poets, were now only seen as a dark and gloomy place.

The sultan had also begun to yell a lot more, and every word said to him seemed to annoy and irritate him and giving him a very short fuse. One had to be careful in what they said to him, or one could find themselves in the dungeons, so people avoided going near him.

Now, for some reason that escaped Kasim´s understanding and everyone else, the sultan had ordered 600 tons of ice from the kingdom of Arendelle. The news about that kingdom had spread like a wildfire and many people were heard talking about this queen Elsa and her magical abilities.

Why would his father even be interested in buying so much ice from her? It just did not make any sense.

Kasim did think about Zerah a lot. She had been executed on the platform and he had witnessed her fall and come to a stop. She had been killed immediately, without her head coming off, and without any strangulation.

It should have been fast and painless.

After that, they had carried her body away for it to be prepared for sending it into the afterlife.

Was the kingdom so sick? Was it so sick that the poor easily were radicalized and started taking horrific actions against his own family?

He still believed that Zerah was speaking the truth when she said that she had nothing to do with the murder, but she had apparently seen the murder being committed and had identified Zuldrak as her master. This Zuldrak was a danger to the kingdom, his family, and the people.

Kasim was walking near his parents' bedroom and saw his mother standing near the balcony looking down on the kingdom.

He went over and stood next to her.

Scheherazade looked at her son and smiled but did not say anything.

No words were needed.

They sat there in silence and Scheherazade spoke: "My son let me tell you about my name. The name Scheherazade comes from and old story from long since passed. It is a story about a king, who marries a new woman every day, a virgin, and after having sex with her, he kills them. Then there was this woman Scheherazade, who was so brave and so wise, that she was ready to sacrifice her own life to give the women in the kingdom a chance to live their life in peace. She did this by marrying this king and telling him a story night after night and as soon as the story had ended, she told another one even more fantastic then the last. In the end she lived, having provided the sultan with children, and have finally changed the wicket kings heart, so he turns to a good man once again. My father loved that story and so I was named after Scheherazade. All my life has felt like a fairytale. Your father had been walking down the streets back then, back when he was just a prince. He saw me once and he forgot where he was going and instead walked over to me and said he would like to see more of me. The years came and went, and we were married. He became sultan and I his wife and queen of the land. Now, for the first time in my life, it feels like everything has become tainted. I have lost a son. My god I have lost my son and there is nothing, that I can do to bring him back, and now I am afraid I have lost your father as well. Now, I dread being alone with him. How could these things happen? Who would harm us this way and why?"

Kasim looked at his mother and then he said, "I truthfully do not know mother."

The sorrow was showing signs on her mother's face and figure. She was not happy, her brown hair had started showing signs of grey hairs, and she looked thinner, for she was hardly eating anything anymore.

Kasim said, "We make our lives what we want it to be mother. I know you loved Razul, you youngest son, so did we all. Wishing will not bring him back. I think we must do what we can to lead those that are still alive, and this Zuldrak must be stopped, so no other woman should go through what you are going through now."

He saw his mother crying silently again, the tears were running down her cheeks, but she made no sound.

She was looking down at the city and said, "The gods blessed me with a great and wise son."

She looked at Kasim, smiled, and put her hand above his and there they stood hand in hand just enjoying the silence.

Then she spoke again: "I want this Zuldrak stopped not because he killed my son and hurt my very soul, but he must be stopped for what I fear may happen in the future, because I have a feeling that the death of Razul was only the beginning."

"It will be done mother, I swear that no matter what happens, I will do my best to lead and to find this Zuldrak and bring him to justice."

"This is not like any other criminal my son. There are magic in the world. Some magic brings wonders while some to create terror. If this Zuldrak is capable of magic, he will be the most dangerous foe that we as a family, and this nation has ever encountered, make no mistake about this my son. Those that use magic are dangerous and unpredictable."

"Is this why father ordered all that ice, to have a better friendship with the magic user Elsa?"

"That could very well be my son, but now I find it difficult to truly know what your father´s intentions are. He hurts just as much as me, and he have a harder time not showing it."

"I want to be a strong leader mother when that time comes and I myself become sultan, now with this new unseen enemy, I do not know if I have what it takes to lead others in battle."

"You have all of that my boy; you must always remember this, that you cannot lead the dead. Instead focus on those people that are still alive and will need help, for they will be counting on you, the dead will not."

"I want you both to be proud of me, but father he has changed a lot, and he is dealing with his sorrow differently. If you feel you need to be protected mother, then I want you to tell me so."

Scheherazade was looking at him and said, "The nights with your father are the worst, but I have faith, I have faith that things at some point is going back to normal. He is still my husband, and as husband and wife in a marriage, sex is a part of that life."

"That does not mean that he has a right to harm you. You can put as much makeup on as you want, but I can see right through it."

Scheherazade said, "I cannot keep a secret from you son, can I?"

"No, I have inherited your mind and hopefully I will get even better at seeing trough lies. I just want you to be happy again."

Scheherazade leaned over and hugged her son tightly, and Kasim could feel her body shaking as she cried into his uniform.

How he wished this dark magic had never come to their home and made his mother cry so much, but what could he do about it. What was done was done, and now he had to concentrate and become the best man that he could be.

This Zuldrak had to be found, a magician that thought it was all right to attack other people's homes.

As his mother cried in silence, he was wondering how and where to begin his search. Where could he learn something about Zuldrak. Where should he go?

He thought back to the time where Zerah broke away from the guards.

She had run towards him, she had thrown herself at him, and she had whispered into his ears, "what your father has planned will not work!"

It was his father´s plan to bring Zuldrak to justice for his crimes against them, but was that all there was to this? His father had also wanted Zerah dead, and she was killed when she was hung with the rope. She had been put on a cart and her body had been taken away.

Kasim realized something and said, "My father's plan will not work."

"What?" asked Scheherazade and leaned away from him. "What is wrong son? Why are you making those big eyes right now?"

"Zerah, that was hung mother, I have to make sure she truly died. That body must be burned!"

He got up, rushed towards the corridor, and said, "Get some guards to watch over you mother, while I am gone!"

"Wait son, I do not understand what is going on? What do you mean that her body needs burning, that is not our way? We bury our dead in the sand, a gift to the sand god, we do not burn them."

"Now we do mother!"

Chapter 28: Rapunzel: The Shadow Dagger

"I am either the luckiest or the unluckiest person in the world Flynn!"

"What makes you say this love?"

"I was kidnapped as a baby and then I find my family again."

"Everyone who is married to me is broken by happiness."

"How many have you been married to?"

"I am just kidding."

Despite being married for a short time, she still had to get used to Flynn's jokes and the new life they led.

Rapunzel did not consider herself the most beautiful woman in the world, but she felt like the most grateful. She was the daughter of the king and queen of Corona, and she was a cousin to Elsa and Anna, the royal sisters of Arendelle, and with her new life, she felt as if she had changed bodies with another person of royal blood.

She had been kidnapped while still a child and had spent most of her life trapped in a tower so Mother Gothel could use her magic hair to get young again. Her real mother had been ill and had a soup mixed with a magic flower that had kept Gothel young and full of health, and Rapunzel had inherited the flower´s gift. Therefore, Gothel had chosen to kidnap her as a child.

Now Gothel was dead, and Rapunzel was married to Flynn, a scoundrel of a man who looked good in a Prince´s clothes.

Rapunzel and Flynn were still opening their wedding gifts many days after their wedding, as they had not opened them all at the same time, as they had left for Arendelle to see Elsa's coronation that had become a most unusual affair to say the least.

Now, they had opened many gifts, and they contained both jewels of gold and silver with gems and rubies, in all the colors of the rainbow, some of it worked into an elegant dining set. Fine clothes of the purest silk in many colors were given to them and raw silk as well. Many delicacies such as caviar and shark meat and expensive meat filled with fat that melted on the tongue. Spices of many colors and many other ingredients was brought down to be stored under colder temperatures.

While silk mainly went to Rapunzel, Flynn got many weapons of all shapes and sizes and fine weapons made with fine patterns engraved in them. Daggers, swords, crossbows, maces, and many other weapons began to hang on the wall.

Flynn turned to Rapunzel and said, "A military commander once said that the engravings offer no tactical advantage whatsoever."

´I just need a frying pan, and I am unbeatable!" she replied.

After the summer winter thaw, they had said goodbye to Elsa and Anna and days later, they sat in their bedroom again and were opening the rest of their wedding gifts. Rapunzel sat with a gift wrapped in dark blue paper, a present that had been given to her by a man whose name she did not know. He had been a tall man with a beautiful face, and he had said that this gift was a gift to her on her wedding day, and by then he had apologized to her for having to reach a ship to Arendelle for he had a meeting with a man who owned him money.

Here on the bed dressed in a gray dress made of pure silk so weightless that it felt like she had nothing on, she opened the gift and was astonished at what she saw.

"Flynn take a look at this."

She held it in her hands so he could see it. The dagger was almost colored in darkness, while the handle was pure gold with three blue sapphires worked into it. Little men who appeared to be made of smoke and fire were engraved in the handle. This dagger would never need a sharp stone to have a sharp edge, because there was a chance the dagger would probably cut through the stone.

"What a dagger!" Flynn said and took it to study it further.

That dagger was not something you could get on the street, so how in the world did that man end up with it in the first place?

He handed it back to Rapunzel, who now wished she could ask where it came from, but it was too late to ask now.

Carefully, she placed it on the top of the shelf close to her and then stood and looked at it some more.

It was a beautiful dagger, but Rapunzel felt there was something dangerous and foreboding about it, but an inner voice of her own said, "Be happy about the things you get in your life, it is a gift, and some people never receive a gift in their life."

Rapunzel looked at Flynn, who was sitting with his black pants on but was just taking them off. It was evening and they were going to bed when they had decided to open presents and Rapunzel went over to the bed and lay down on it, her head resting on the soft pillows and looked up on Flynn.

They were married, and she had discovered her brand new life and was now learning from her father and mother. Her thoughts was spread out all over the place inside her mind and as a result knew there were so many things, she still needed to learn and Flynn looked down at her and said, "There are still a lot of things you need to learn about being a royal, I think your schooling is not quite over yet?"

"Not yet, and I am lucky that I have you."

"I am a very capable man."

They both laughed at that.

They slept and darkness filled the room, and Rapunzel stared at the area where the dagger was. It was as if the light itself disappeared and gave way to an even darker darkness that seemed to surround the dagger and she got curious.

She got up and walked over to it.

She picked it up and held it up, feeling something within herself, almost as if she had taken a sip of bad water or eaten spoiled meat. She felt she was going to be sick, and she put it back down and felt the feeling disappear.

"It reacts with the last remnants of the powers in me!" she thought to herself, thinking it might be a good idea to get rid of it, maybe even sell it, but something inside her told her not to do so.

It was as if she could think one thing only and all other thoughts was being pushed back by another thought rather suddenly against her own will, giving her a headache that hurt. It hurt so much that she could see her vision filling with snow, and she did not feel it when she hit the floor.

Flynn got up and rushed to her side like a bat out of hell, he grabbed her by the arms and said, "Rapunzel? Rapunzel? Help! Come help us!"

It was not long before servants and healer Martin were in the same room.

"What happened?" Healer Martin asked as he brought clean water to the princess.

"I do not know. One minute I was sleeping when I heard a big "TUD" like something had hit the floor and I found her lying down."

She was conscious again and heard every word but understood nothing, she looked at the dagger that had fallen to the floor and Flynn saw it.

"Healer Martin, that dagger."

Healer Martin followed his gaze, walked over to the dagger, used his sleeve and picked it up, and studied the dagger.

"Where did you get this?" he asked.

"It was a wedding present!"

"For whom?"

"For me."

"Rapunzel this dagger. I need to investigate it further, but just by looking at it, the dagger seems to have darkness to it, unnatural darkness, and shadow. I need to examine it and if it is too dangerous, should I get rid of it?"

Rapunzel replied, "No, something tells me it should not be destroyed yet, I cannot explain the feeling, but put it somewhere safe, but do not destroy it."

Flynn gently lifted Rapunzel up and sat her down back in the bed.

Rapunzel said, "There is no reason to wake my dad and mom, let them sleep, and then I will talk to them about it later, but no need to worry."

"I am not so sure." healer Martin said, walking over to her, "I should look into you fully to see if the dagger has done something permanent to you."

"I just want to sleep Healer Martin; do you have a powder that can remove that awful headache in my mind?"

"Yeah, two seconds."

Rapunzel got the powder for the pain in her head, and her eyes were covered in darkness.

She opened them to see a field covered in green grass as birds filled the air with their song, and Rapunzel thought to herself, it is just a dream, but it is a lovely dream.

She sat down on the grass and felt her bare feet be caressed by the green grass tickling her and she lay down on it and looked up to the sky.

"Is this really a dream or some kind of vision?" she asked because it seemed so real.

She did not notice it at first, but it was as if she could hear a small sound that sounded like drums being pounded on, and it felt like the sound was coming from a distance, and Rapunzel wondered why she could hear drums, but she did not think much else about it.

That was until she got up again and then burnt ground was under her feet and covered them with ash and looking to her right, she saw a giant version of the shadow dagger stuck in the ground.

It had not been there a few minutes ago, and then she knew it was just a dream. The Dagger's gold handles with its blue sapphires, were glazed in shadow and darkness, it looked like the real dagger, and Rapunzel realized that the pounding on what could only be drums sounded louder than before.

She looked up at the dagger's handle where the demons that looked like men of smoke and ash were engraved and when it became clear what it was, she saw on the handle, her heart was still as her mind tried to understand the horror she saw.

The demons were dancing to the drums, a brutal tribe like dancing with jumping and spinning as they used their long fingernails to cut and pull each other's organs out, only for their skin and organs to go back into place and heal their wounds as if nothing had happened.

Then one of them stopped and turned its head so it looked straight at her, and the other smoke demons did the same, and they all stood up as disciplined soldiers, and their whispers filled the air with a song in a forgotten language.

It made every single hair on her body stand up straight, and as the song ended, the demons screamed and danced even faster, and she heard the drums beat faster and her heart with it. She sat down on the ash-covered ground and closed her eyes and ears for this hellish dance, but then she opened them again and saw that the sky was as red as blood and the moon as black coal, and the demons of smoke was dancing right in front of her.

They looked at her and smiled at her, with teeth as long and sharp as ice picks, their eyes crying blood as they sang again. They danced in a circle around her, bouncing back and forth on one leg to the other, singing in the language she did not recognize, from a forgotten past.

They moved closer to her as the shadows burst into flames burning all around her, and as the flames surrounded her, they came closer to her, and one of them stretched its long fingers out towards her, and she began to scream as her leg started burning, and she screamed when she woke up from her dream.

Flynn had asked Martin to stay in the room if something was going to happen, and Martin rushed to Rapunzel´s side.

"My leg!" She cried out, removed her blanket, and looked with big eyes upon it.

A red handprint with long nails could be seen.

Chapter 29: Isa: Darkness In The Mind

Isa was walking around town, visiting various stores, and buying the necessary items for the special meal she was going to prepare for her husband and herself. She was shopping for their anniversary dinner.

"This meal will be good!" she thought to herself.

It would consist of two large juicy steaks with gravy and potatoes, and some of the best wine that could be bought for money. Still, she was a little annoyed with Kevin, because early in the morning when he said goodbye to her, it seemed to her that he had forgotten the meaning of this day.

"Did he forget our anniversary day?" she asked herself, thinking the answer did not put her in a good mood.

To be fair, he worked very hard for all the people who wanted to buy his wares, but there was also the extra work on the Queen's horses, so Kevin had his hands full, but that did not stop Isa from feeling a little disappointed. Soon she saw that her basket was full of her groceries, and then she went home and started preparing the food in the kitchen.

Her eyes began to focus on the floor instead of the kitchen counter. Even though it was no longer there, she could still see in her mind's eye the blood that had run down her legs and unto the floor. She could still see her daughter's small dead body as she had held her close and begged her dead daughter to come back. Her daughter had not returned, and now she lay in a coffin, in the cold earth with a blanket around her.

She wanted to get out of the house.

She felt like she could not stay in it anymore, almost as if the house itself was cursed. She put the steak down and hurried outside.

It was a beautiful day, and the sun was warming more than usual, making people look gray. Isa was about to cry, but she did not want anyone to find out so she covered her mouth with her hand and started walking as fast as she could away and out of town, away from Arendelle, where she then went straight to the woods. She went to the place where she and Kevin had previously made love, sat down against a tree, and started crying uncontrollably, making the moose raise its head and make it look in her direction.

Her home was cursed.

Isa knew it, and she could no longer stand the idea of living in that house. The violent experience was something she could not get over, and she knew she would never get over it.

The moose lowered its head again in complete disinterest.

Isa suddenly felt older than she really was, and suddenly she began to laugh. Anyone, that could see her now, would have thought that she was mad and completely insane. She laughed and laughed, though not at the loss of the child, but more so at her own life.

It was as if being reminded of all the sad things that had happened in her life were the only thoughts she had in her head. She had not seen her parents since she was a young girl, and she would never see them again, and as if that were not enough, they were buried in a realm that seemed far away from her in time and space.

Her Uncle Miko's family, Anita, and her daughter were also gone from this world, their ashes scattered with the wind. Her uncle Miko had disappeared without a trace, and he had not been seen since his family's funeral pyre. Her daughter was dead and buried in the cold earth, and her husband Kevin worked for the Queen, whose powers had taken the lives of Miko's family.

If that was not enough, it seemed like Kevin had forgotten their anniversary.

Her thoughts returned to Queen Elsa, and she hated her for the things she had done. She hated Elsa's sister Anna. Isa hated them all with a passion.

Slowly she said to herself, "One day Elsa, one day you will know how it feels like when your family is gone from this world. I can promise you that for Miko!"

She slowly got up again after getting her thoughts and feelings under control, and then she went all the way home, where she discovered that Kevin had not come home yet. She began to prepare the meal again, but now different thoughts invaded her mind. These new thoughts were darker and deeper, but they belonged to the new promise she had sworn. One day, Elsa would learn what it felt like when someone took her family away.

The door opened and Kevin entered.

"Hey darling!" Kevin said and smiled at his wife and rushed over to Isa, "We have quite the Anniversary to celebrate Isa!"

Kevin grabbed her hands, pulled her closer to him and gave her a long warm hug. Isa had food on her fingers, but she responded by hugging him, as if she would never let him go again. They could just stay there in that moment for the rest of their lives.

Kevin could feel that something was annoying Isa, so he asked, "Isa my love, is there anything wrong?"

"I want you to stop working for Elsa!" she answered.

"Why do you want me to stop?" Kevin asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I have been thinking a lot about the Queen as of late Kevin, and I have been thinking about our daughter. I just want to get out of this kingdom, away from Arendelle!"

"But why Isa, why are you saying this?"

"Elsa was either directly or indirectly responsible for Miko's family's death when she brought the winter upon us, and I hate her for it. She is a witch to be burned!"

Isa could see that Kevin was shocked and he replied, "Isa, the queen tells the truth when she says she could not control her power at the time. Anita and her daughter's death were an accident! Just want to move us just like that?"

"Yes, I want to move."

"Where do you want us to go?"

"I do not know Kevin, just somewhere far away from here."

"Is this about our child, is that why you say these things?" Kevin asked, looking Isa directly in the eyes.

Isa felt naked and open like a book or a card player trying to hide her card, only to find out her opponent was a mind reader.

"It is not about my daughter!" Isa yelled and turned her back to Kevin.

"She was my daughter too, Isa!"

Isa stood with her back to Kevin, and she was trembling, her tears reappearing. She hated trying to hurt her husband like that, and she gave a small jump when she heard the door to the outside world closed shut with such force that it felt as if the door were about to go off the hinges.

At that time, Isa felt lower than the lowest of scum, and she was sure her husband would not forgive her for that one, and she knew she would not be able to forgive herself for it. Kevin had really been looking forward to being a father and raising that child with Isa, but this opportunity seemed forever lost to him.

Isa saw the unprepared meat and began to prepare it again, while in her mind she apologized to Kevin many times, for what she had said.

She had always wanted to be the best wife she could be, but this was the first time, that she had really hurt her husband's feelings.

She had hurt him deeply and she regretted doing that to him.

She prepared steaks, gravy and potatoes, cooked it all, roasted the meat, poured the wine into the glasses, and put it all on the table, after which she found some candles that she lit, and then sat down on her chair waiting.

She was waiting for her beloved husband to come home to her.

The door opened again, and Kevin came in, and Isa rushed from her seat, hugged Kevin tightly and said, "I am sorry Kevin, I'm sorry that I said that. I love you, Kevin!"

"I love you too!" Kevin responded, took a little package out of his inner pockets, and handed it to Isa.

She opened the blue package and what she saw made her gasp: It was a rose, but it was not a plain red or white rose.

This rose was made of Rubies, Emeralds, and yellow sapphires. A rose made and formed of gemstones!

Isa looked at it with her eyes wide open and her gaze found her husband's warm and loving eyes.

"Where did you get this thing?" She asked.

"I helped a gentleman with his horse by nursing it back to health, so he wanted to give me gems as that horse meant more to him than anything in this world. I asked him if he knew a person who could transform gems into this rose, and he said yes. Long story short, here it is."

Very gently, she sat the rose on the table, walked over to her husband and kissed him on the mouth as she continued to think,"You are so getting it tonight!"

"I have made some food for us honey! Come and sit down with me!" Isa said and walked over to the table.

They both sat down and that night they both enjoyed the best meal they had ever tasted.

Later, Isa would think about how it came to be with all the struggles and dark thoughts that had emerged that day.

"Kevin, just sit here while I take something."

"Okay honey!" Kevin said with a smile on his face.

Isa ran to the bedroom looking for the gift she would give to her husband. She had found something, but it was something she could only use, but she thought her husband would enjoy it, too. She had spent hours looking for something she could give to Kevin, but when she could not find something worthy enough, she decided to take the matters into her own hands and do it for herself.

"Kevin, will you come up here, please?" she asked five minutes later.

She heard Kevin coming up the stairs saw the door open and smiled at Kevin's reaction.

"It must be great to be him right now!" she thought to herself.

She was lying on the bed; wearing black stockings over her silky soft legs and a fully opened bathrobe exposing her breasts and her vagina and on the front of the bathrobe, words were engraved that spelled a phrase with golden letters that read: Take me now!

She looked at Kevin with a smile, and a moment later, she kissed him as he lay on top of her, legs around his waist and him penetrating her.

"It feels good to be one with you again!" Isa said as she loudly moaned his name.

"I am going to cum!" Kevin said and Isa pushed him off her and started sucking his erected cock until she felt her mouth sticky with her husband's cum and then he lay down next to Isa and held her closer to him. As Isa lay there in her husband's arms, she believed that fate, besides everything, had given her the greatest man she knew, and she thanked fate for it.

She thought of all the bad things she wanted to happen to the Queen, but with a hug from her husband, the dark thoughts she carried around seemed to disappear, leaving only a trace of warm thoughts in her mind. Isa hoped that one day she could live with her husband, far away from the kingdom of Arendelle and all the intrigues of the court.

"That was a good thought!" she thought to herself and fell asleep in her husband's arms, dreaming of the life she would have with him in the future, far away from Arendelle.

Chapter 30: Nell: The Time Bandit

"The Time Bandit" was a small and very fast ship, as fast as the wind, metaphorically speaking, and Nell could no longer see the coast of the Southern Isles. She was happy and sad at the same time. She was glad that she was now far away from the cursed Isles, far away from Hans, the cruel new monarch. However, she was sad about many of the things that had happened to her.

Hans had raped her again, and this time she knew with herself that she would not get lucky this time. He had ejaculated far inside her this time, and that could only mean one thing!

Although she had no morning sickness, and though no one could see it yet, she feared that she was pregnant. She had played with the idea that she might not be pregnant at all, and she had really been lucky, but it was an insane thought to have.

She would be realistic about that now.

Nell turned around and looked for Captain Cliff's cabin. She had many things to be thankful for, for she had been allowed onto "The Time Bandit" without having to pay something for it. Cliff had seen her hurt and humiliated and sad, and he had allowed her on board.

She would always be very thankful for that.

The first time she came into the cabin, Cliff said, "This is my cabin; you are welcome to stay in this cabin if you like. It only has one bed, but I am sure we can both use it together."

Nell was about to respond with shock as he continued, "We are adults, are we not? I am not going to touch you if that is what you fear."

Nell knew she could trust him.

It was a gut feeling and she thanked him many times for his kindness.

She looked around.

It was the largest cabin on the ship, and it was really the captain's cabin. There was a table whereupon that lay a few books and some documents, and some white pieces of paper, a candle, and right next to the table was a brown treasure chest.

Nell guessed that the captain's private log would not be in it, but it was probably hidden somewhere in the room. A ship's logbook contained information on weather conditions and many other things, such as what had been observed next to the ship, what different events that had happened, the color of the water, how the sea air was, it was all noted down in it. The captain would also take notes on what directions the waves were coming from, literally everything was written down in that log.

A logbook was in great demand because although there were five kingdoms who knew about each other, most were sure that there were unexplored land masses somewhere in the world and a logbook would act as a map if the ship had reached these unexplored land masses. It was like a map from a ship that had already been there!

So naturally, logbooks were highly sought after. It was rumored that King Walter, from the Southern Isles, had once cut the limbs of a man who had stolen such a log. He was good at pickpocketing people and had stolen only one logbook and that was the same as stealing and selling secrets from a monarchy.

A most unforgivable crime!

"Get over here" Cliff said to Nell, escorting her to a shelf.

He opened it and Nell was stunned.

On the shelf were several dresses, but not just any dresses. These dresses seemed to be some of the more expensive ones. The dresses were glittering, like the stars at night.

"Why do you have women's dresses in your cabin, Captain Cliff?"

"We engaged a ship in combat and took prisoners and picked the ship clean. These dresses had to be put in a dry place."

"Of course," she thought to herself.

She should have known that this ship could be used for attack. Maybe she was trapped aboard a ship of pirates!

She was sure Cliff was a mind reader when he said, "No, we are not pirates, but we will defend ourselves if need be! Please take the dress you like the most!"

He turned and walked out of the cabin, leaving Nell to find a dress she could use.

"Which one should I choose?" she asked, seeing a sparkling green dress.

She took it and went over to the mirror, which hung on the opposite side of the shelf. She put on the green dress, and then she looked back at the shelf and saw the high heels in there. She took a green pair, put them on and went over to the mirror again. The black hair and her green eyes matched the dress and high-heeled shoes she had chosen.

She saw a small box in front of the mirror and opened it. It was full of makeup in many different colors, and she began to wonder if Cliff was to men, but it did not concern her what he was doing and what he was wearing in his private life, if that is how he was.

She put on red lipstick and then she went out on the deck to look for the captain. As she went outside, everyone on the ship stopped what they were in the middle of doing, and just looked at her in awe. That made Nell uncomfortable. Nell had tried her best to look as good as she could, but the fact that everyone had stopped doing the things they needed to do told her she had done too good of a job at it.

"This is not good at all!" she thought to herself.

They would remember her now.

She could not see the captain, so she decided to go back into the cabin when someone who looked like an admiral said, "Well, what do we have here?"

Nell knew something bad was about to happen.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Santa and you have been a very naughty girl, madam."

The crew began to laugh, and before Nell could escape into the cabin, the admiral had grabbed both her wrists and pushed her towards the door. He forced her to look at him and before Nell could scream, he pressed his mouth against her, and Nell felt his tongue inside her mouth!

"I do not want to be raped again!" she thought to herself.

She bit down so hard with her teeth that it split the Admirals' tongue in two, causing him to scream, causing Captain Cliff to rush over to her again.

"What the hell is going on here?" He asked her.

"He came at me!" Nell said. "I was trying to escape."

"You hurt her did you not?" The captain asked the admiral, and before Nell knew what was happening, Cliff began to push the admiral up against the cabin wall.

Bang, Bang, Bang, it sounded as the Admiral was smashed against the wall and suddenly another sound came.

Crack!

Nell had to try to stay calm as the Admiral fell to the ground. He was stone cold dead.

"His brain had to look like a broken egg now!" she thought to herself.

"Get in the cabin!" Cliff said, pushing her inside.

"From now on you will stay in here!"

Nell said, "I thank you for saving my life again. I owe you so much already."

"I did not know the Admiral would do that. I always trusted him. I am tired now and I will go to sleep!"

Cliff walked over to the bed, took off his shoes, and lay on the bed without taking off his clothes.

Nell watched him for some time as many thoughts went through her mind. She walked over to the bed, bent down and kissed Cliff on the forehead.

He opened his eyes and asked her, "Why did you do that?"

"You deserved a kiss from me for all you have done for me!" Nell said, kissing him on his lips.

"I am just trying to be a good man, but I have a wife and a child."

"Oh," Nell thought to himself. "Then I do not want to disturb your sleep."

"You can rest next to me if you want" Cliff said, and Nell smiled.

She crawled on top of him and rested her head against his chest. She could hear his beating heart beating calmly as she lay on top of him. Soon she heard him sleep and it did not take long for Nell to fall asleep too. She woke up when she heard his heartbeat go faster. She moved and looked at his face and saw that Cliff had his eyes open.

He looked very nervous!

"Is there something wrong?" Nell asked him.

"I can feel something bad, my gut feeling is trying to warn me!" he replied, giving Nell a brief push, so she came down from him.

Cliff got up from the bed and went over to the shelf and from it he took a cloak on, gave the other to Nell, and said to her, "I may need help, so come outside when you are ready."

"What is happening?" Nell responded.

"I think we have hit a storm!"

With those words, he hurried out, leaving Nell to put on his cloak.

"Oh God!" she said to herself and followed him outside.

Cliff's gut feeling had not been wrong.

"The Time Bandit" was caught in a storm.

She looked around for the admiral's body, but it was nowhere to be seen. Either the rest of the crew had taken care of it, or the big waves hitting the ship had caused the body to slide down and overboard. She would never know for sure, but right now, she had to concentrate on finding Cliff.

Staying on the ship itself was something her life depended on, but now she was in danger as the ship was taking too much damage.

She walked near the ship's steering wheel, where ropes were tied right next to it. Quickly, she tied the rope around her waist and went down to the deck, watching Cliff try to help one of his men up onto the deck again as the man hung from the edge of the ship.

The rain came pouring down like icicles that hit her from the sky, and she felt the cold howling wind in her very bones.

It was so cold!

She heard a scream and saw that the man Cliff had tried to help had fallen overboard. She saw Cliff standing up, but suddenly the ship changed directions as a big wave hit the ship, and Cliff lost his balance.

"NOOOOO!" Nell shouted out, but there was nothing, that she could do.

Cliff fell overboard and he did not have a lifeline, like the one she had around her waist.

She rushed to the edge of the ship and looked down, but Cliff was nowhere to be seen.

Nell felt weak throughout her body as the rain soaked her clothes. That is when she noticed that there was no one on deck!

They had to be downstairs in the crew hull!

As fast as she could, she came down to the crew hull while she kept yelling for help, and when she reached the door, she saw that a part of the ships mast had cracked and was blocking the door from opening.

With all her strength, she moved just a bit of the broken mast to open the door a little. Then she saw that the crew's hull had been filled with water, and she knew the rest of the crew had drowned.

"This ship is going down!" she thought to herself.

Her eyes went to the little lifeboat that hung from the edge.

She saw one of the crewmembers left in the water near the door. Before she knew what she was doing, she grabbed him and found out he had a knife. She took it, but was suddenly reminded of the captain's log, and as the weather fought hard against her, she hurried to the main cabin again.

"Where could it be?" she asked, and before she knew what was happening, the biggest mast came down and almost hit her, destroying the cabin. She opened her eyes and saw a black book.

It had to be the log. She rushed to it and took it, opened it, and saw times and dates, and she knew she had found it. With nothing left to lose, she ran as fast as she could down to the boat, got into it, and began cutting the rope she had around her waist. It came off and then she cut the one rope that tied the small lifeboat to the larger ship.

The lifeboat fell for two seconds, with Nell in it, still holding on to the log, then the lifeboat hit the water and Nell passed out.
