Here a little reminder of the worlds...

This story is set on Earth-359!

'The shame of El' was set on Earth-Krypton! It's the epicenter of the chaos!

The actual series is set on Earth-TUD25!

The Earth of Jon living in Alaska is Earth-AU!

Other worlds, including the ones from my previous stories will have appearances, too!

When Jon landed on the ground, he was so overwhelmed that he first didn't realize that he was just flying. He only felt the ground. Real gravel! And he could hear birds! He hadn't heard birds ever since he left Earth! And that smell… Air! Real air!

Jon opened his eyes and saw the trees, the lake and the mountains that surrounded him. He was back…

"Awww… hahahaha…" Jon's eyes filled with tears of joy when he realized that he was really on Earth. He made it. Yelling loudly and happily ever and ever again in Kryptonese: "I am home!"

Timmy Tanner and his totally stunned parents were shocked. There was this boy, wearing this weird black outfit, with the Superman-symbol on his chest. And he was acting like a little child opening his Christmas-gifts. Smiling brighter than the sun and speaking a language, none of them ever heard before.

Jon didn't notice the human family watching him at first. He just had eyes for the little butterfly he caught with his finger and looking on it. He never dared to think that he ever sees a butterfly again… Then he looked on the ground again and took a little stone. Guessing what kind of rock, it was. A real rock from Earth. And suddenly it crumbled under his grip…

In awe Jon looked on the dust in his hand blew it away. Realizing that he just crumbled a rock with his bare hand. He was strong… the sun gave him powers, finally…

Suddenly he remembered a conversation with Zor-El he had a couple of months ago…

"Your Kryptonian side develops faster now that you are here. On Earth you lived as a human. Your human cells were dominant. But here you live as Kryptonian. Your cells have been always able to absorb solar energy! But not able to store them enough to show obvious powers. With the changes of your body, your body should be able to do so now."

Full of joy, Jon took another rock to test it again. And this rock crumbled to dust in his hand, too. Jon smiled even brighter and looked around. The birds, the animals… and the family that was watching him with big eyes.

Jon saw the Tanners standing there. All three as white as chalk and looking on him as if he was an alien. Well, he kind of was…

"Oh… Hello!" Jon said and lifted to bow and greet the Tanners properly the Kryptonian way. "Do you speak English?"

"Ach du heilige scheiße…" Oh, holy crap, Timmy yelled in German.

The Tanners used to live in Germany for a couple of years. And Timmy wanted to return there after School to study. Sometimes he was thinking more in German than in English. The Tanners were shocked that this 'alien' asked them in their language if they are able to speak English. This was a question; they normally should ask him! Hearing the boy speaking German, Jon assumed that they spoke German.

"Oh… Sie spreken Deutsch?" Jon said carefully and tried to remember what his German au-pair taught him when he was little. His German was very bad. "Ehm… Guten Tag, meine… Name… is… Jon-El… Ick been… aus… Krypton… Können… Sie… mi… sagen… wo ick… bee…?"

"Wyoming!" Timmy answered. "This is Yellowstone!"

"Oh… Yellowstone! I've never been here before!" Jon said in awe and looked around again.

Timmy took his phone to take a picture. His mother tried to stop it.

"Timmy, you make it angry!" his mother hissed worried.

"IT? Hey, I am a person! And I was born on this planet!" now Jon was upset. And the Tanners even more scared. "I am not an 'it'!"

Jon looked around again and decided to forgive them. He would react the same way.

"But it's fine… it is my first time on Earth for four years! I am not blaming you!"

The Tanners were still shocked and just watched the boy walking to a bush to study it.

Jon watched the plants, the flowers and the bees and insects. Everything he hadn't seen in years. Jon smelled on the flowers. He never cared for flowers when he was little but with his super smell he loved how they smelled…

The Tanner couldn't stop gawking at Jon and his outfit. The black suit with these boots and the Superman symbol looked like something nobody on Earth would wear. Jon ignored their gazes, or that he shouldn't be with these people.

He is still an (half-)alien who just crashed with his pod on this planet and it didn't matter that he was Superman's son. Every soldier would shoot on him. They would put him into a lab and then arrest everyone who even talked to him. He needed a plan! The best idea is to contact Uncle Tal! He knew his address in London! He could try to get there. But how?

But in all his joy, Jon forgot that at first. Just enjoying the fact that he was back on Earth… and had powers!

Suddenly Jon let out a weak flash of laser-vision out to light up a fire in a nearby fireplace…

"Wow… did you see that?" Jon asked full of awe before he saw how terrified the Tanners were. "Isn't that awesome. When I was young, I was not able to do that! Oh… Sorry… I guess you are not used to see something like that. My father does that only in TV, right?"

"Your… father?!" Mr. Tanner asked perplexed. Looking back and forth between the crest on Jon's outfit, the fire in the fireplace and Jon's face. "Are you…"

Before Mr. Tanner could ask if he was related to Superman, Jon already turned around again to investigate the ground and the plants again.

Jon was so full of joy to be back on Earth, that he ignored everything. He ignored that he could suddenly hear far distant voices of people, talking about the 'meteor' that just crashed into the lake. Or the flying boy they saw. He ignored the sirens of the trucks of the park-rangers that were called and got closer and closer.

Jon only closed his eyes and let the sun shine on him. He felt no difference from the time he was young. But it was definitely a difference to the red sun in Argo City. And he felt the energy inside his body growing with every second. This feeling was so awesome, Jon let his eyes closed and decided to enjoy it a bit longer. Until he could hear the woman gasping again.

Jon opened his eyes again and saw that he was floating about two feet over the ground.

"Aww…. Hahahahaha… awesome!" Jon yelled.

Full of joy, Jon enjoyed floating for a few seconds before he let himself drop back down on the ground and jumped up carefully. Remembering Tal's lectures and instructions from four years ago, when he tried to teach him to fly. And so, Jon starts to fly up again and floated several feet over the ground and the lake through the air. Enjoying it and having fun like never before in his life…

The stunned Tanners watched the flying 'ballet' with big eyes, while Timmy held his phone up to film every little second of it. Jon meanwhile floated around carefully, trying to get a feeling for it. Back then, Tal explained him detailed how to navigate and how to fly corners or how to stop in midair. Happily, Jon made a somersault in the air before he flew a little looping…

"Mommy, mommy… look big birdie!" a little girl of three or four years on a camping-ground, around 200 yards away from the Tanner's said.

"That's not a bird! It's a plane!" the woman said looking up, too and only seeing a blurred object. "Wait… where are my glasses?"

"Aghh… that's a teenager!" her husband yelled shocked when he came out of the camper and saw it clearly.

Two men on the other side of the lake watched the flying Jon through their binoculars…

"Is that Superboy?"

"No, Superboy looks different!"

A truck with two park-rangers arrived with howling siren, right next to the still stunned Tanners. And the park-rangers could only gasp and watch the scene, too of the boy who was floating over the lake and had fun…

Jon could feel the power and asked himself if he could fly even faster. But for that he needed a better feeling for these powers anyway. His pod was still on the bottom of the lake and safe at first. He had a mission! He came to Earth to confront his father and to see his Uncle Tal again.

As Jon knew now that he was in Yellowstone, he knew in which direction he had to fly to get to Metropolis. Or maybe to Boston first? He would love to see his old house again…

And so, Jon used his knowledge about flying to get closer to the Tanners again and stopping three feet over the ground but right in front of them so that they all had to look up.

"Excuse me, where is East?" Jon asked. The Tanners and the park-rangers all pointed in the right direction and Jon saw it. "Thank you!"

And so, Jon starts to jet away and was out of sight in a glimpse of a second. All filmed by Timmy…

"I HAVE TO POST THIS! I NEED WIFI…"

Jon flew up and passed the mountains of Yellowstone before he saw the wide rural areas of Nebraska and Iowa ahead of him. Full of awe about his newfound powers, he flew with stretched out arms over a river, he guessed that was the Missouri River before flying higher and faster than any commercial airliner…

In Smallville, Tal left the farm to fly back to his house in London after getting some 'dating-advice' from Lois, who start to spread her documents on the kitchen-table when Natalie came into the kitchen, too.

"MOM… turn on the TV… you have to see this!" she said and turned on the little TV that was standing on the kitchen counter.

The news was reporting about various meteor-impacts in Europe…

Clark just finished the emergency with the collapsing bridge in Tsheljabinsk, and was halfway back to America, when he could hear the terrible explosion in Moldova. Clark flew to Chisinau immediately and saw the big flaming crater in the middle of a roundabout.

In Moldova it was still night! So, there was almost nobody out on the street. But a lot of parked cars were flipped over and on fire. Windows were shattered in a wide range around the crater. And there were still countless of injured people. Some of them were trapped in their apartments. Clark speeded down and used his ice-breath to extinguish the extreme hot fire that was coming out of the crater that was once the Unirii-Principatelor-square. And he was shocked about the intensity of the fire.

This was not a gas-explosion. And not a bomb. This was something that impact here! A small object! Very fast and extremely hot! But it seemed to get cooler when Clark used his ice-breath on the fire in the crater and was able to cool it down. People were crying in their apartments. Dozens were injured. From flying glass-sharps, up to burns! It was a miracle that nobody was killed. Clark kept sure that the worst injured people got to the arriving emergency responders or to the hospitals. Not realizing that there was a glowing Kryptonian energy-core laying in the crater. That luckily stopped overcharging because it was night now and no sunlight was shining on it…

It took a while before Clark could leave Chisinau and saw another crater in an acre in Slovakia. But the local fire-brigade was already present, so there was nothing to do for him. Another much smaller crater was in a schoolyard in Stuttgart, Germany. A construction side next to the High-School was totally destroyed. And the school itself had all windows shattered. But everything here seemed under control, too.

Clark was already on the way home before Jon left Yellowstone. Wondering what could have been the reason for these explosions. Meteors maybe? Just good that it happened at night. At day, most of those places would have been crowded with people. Especially the roundabout in Chisinau and the schoolyard in Stuttgart. A terrible thought for Clark, who kept sure that everything was handled before he flew back to Smallville.

He guessed Jordan was already on his date and Lois be back home…

Jon meanwhile still enjoyed flying over America. Full of joy and happiness…

Earth-AU…

'Connor' was in the kitchen. Brooding about the recent events and the ridiculous explanation they gave to their son Joel after the boy witnessed his heat-vision. While helping his wife Janet to load the dishwasher suddenly another memory shoot in his head…

He was 18. He was living in Alaska for two years, by that day. He successfully left his old life behind him and was safe under his new identity. The only thing he had left from his old life was the crystal with his Kryptonian grandmother's A.I. that created his own little fortress here. And now 'Connor' remembered the day Lara told him that he should be able to fly and how he used to fly for the first time in this beautiful landscape. All while his girlfriend (and now wife) and his best friend cheered loudly for him when he flew around.

'Connor' was so happy about that memory that he began to float around in the kitchen. His wife was so shocked that she had no clue what to do. She tried to wake him up, by pouring a glass of water into his face. But even that didn't wake him up from that memory. And when he did, he let himself drop on the ground immediately. Hoping that nobody saw it.

"You go to your grandmother! NOW! And you don't go to Juneau before you handled it!" his wife said shocked.

Connor realized that and left the house in a blur to get to his fortress…

Earth-Krypton…

"It's happening again!" the Jonathan-A.I. in Connor's Arizona fortress said just a second before Connor fell into the memory of his first own flight, too.

It was just a couple of months after being 'reborn' in his clone Connor. He was running at superspeed through the dessert and training his powers, he waited too long for. And he just decided to risk it…

Connor raised his arms, jumped… and flew… That moment when he jetted up into the air was the greatest moment of his life. Looking in awe when he reached Los Angeles in just a second and Hawaii in only ten and then made a couple of rounds around the globe…

The Jonathan-A.I. scanned his clone's brainwaves and the energy that it was emitting during the vision. He was relieved that it was a positive memory, this time…

"I knew it! Our father messed around in another world and created a huge interdimensional chaos. Connor, get our father! He has a lot of explaining to do! Connor?"

The Jonathan-A.I. just looked on his clone and watched him dancing in the air faraway. Smiling so bright as if he has the greatest dream.

"Maybe, this is actually a vision to enjoy…"

Earth-TUD25…

The Jonathan who hadn't experienced his 'first-flight', was back in the firehouse. Distracting himself with polishing the truck. Even if nobody asked him to do that. But he had to do something to distract himself and to keep himself busy.

But when all his doppelgangers experienced their first flights, a memory he didn't have, he just fainted…

"Jon!" Kyle, who witnessed it, yelled in shock, and took his phone to call Clark. "Kent… It happened again…"

There was a blur and Jon was gone with his father only a second later. Leaving Kyle alone who looked up into the sky and hoped that Jon will be okay…

Earth-359…

Jon flew over the United States. Using every moment to enjoy it… Jon passed Metropolis and flew to Boston instead. Seeing his old home city was beautiful. He saw his old neighborhood and his old school again. Nothing changed there. Then he flew over his old house…

The garden looked different. The new owners had a hot-tub and there was a new apple-tree planted in the yard. And the house was looking differently inside. With his suddenly newfound x-ray-vision and his telescopic-vision, Jon was able to see the family that now lived in his old house having dinner together.

Then he flew on. Making some rounds over Boston. In the Harvard Stadium was a football-match playing. He flew a bit deeper to watch it a bit…

"Coach… what is that?" one of the players sitting on the bench asked when he spotted the flying 'something' over the stadium.

"What?" the grumpy man asked.

"That!" the player said and pointed up in the evening sky where the coach and suddenly several others, too could see the flying teenager in his black outfit over the stadium.

"Holy crap…"

"OH… SUPERBOY! WE LOVE YOU!" a girl yelled excited while she and her friends spotted Jon, too.

Jon was not Superboy. And he realized that he cached too much attention. And so, he left. To fly to the East again. Before heading to London, he used the chance to watch Pleasure Bay again. His parents used to go to this beach with him when he was little. Jon stopped over the beach and saw a bonfire-party going on… then he looked at Fort Independence on the other side of the bay. Remembering the fieldtrip, he made with his class there, when he was in third grade… until he got suddenly hit by something and looked directly into the faces of two stunned pilots…

The man and the woman in the cockpit of the Boeing 737 just departed at Logan International Airport for their flight to Buffalo when they suddenly had this teenager, in his weird black outfit and with the Superman-symbol on his chest on their windshield. Both were too shocked and to stunned about this that they ignored the crack he left in the window on the pilot's side, or that the boy was unhurt, even though they hit him with a speed of 250 miles per hour.

Jon was shocked of course. He never remembered reading in the news that Superman ever collided with a plane. And now he did. Leaving a crack. One more way to catch too much attention. Jon was just glad that it proved that he was also invulnerable. With an innocent smile, Jon winked to the pilots. Showing that he was very sorry and flew away to get to London as quick as possible.

"Logan-Tower, Alpha-Airlines-3-6-1 request urgent return to the airport! Midair collision!" the captain said into the radio.

"Alpha-Airlines-3-6-1, please confirm you declaring an emergency!" the air-traffic-controller asked.

"Requesting urgent return to Logan Airport! We hit someone with our plane!"

"Alpha-Airlines-3-6-1 bird-strike confirmed. You need the fire-…"

"NO… NO BIRDSTRIKE!" the captain yelled shocked. "BOYSTRIKE!"

When the plane made a U-turn to land again, Jon decided to fly higher and faster to avoid any more collisions with airplanes…

In Smallville, Lois was in the kitchen, talking with her father over the phone…

"Yes, dad… We see it in the news! No, Clark hasn't returned yet!... Why?... Does it have to be now?..." Lois asked annoyed before she suddenly heard the familiar swoosh outside. "…oh… He just returned!"

Clark entered the farmhouse, being Clark again. With glasses and the casual clothes, he was wearing before he left the house two hours ago…

"Hi, Lois!"

"Hi, Clark…" Lois said kissing him to greet him. "Sorry to bother you but… my dad wants to talk to you!"

Full of pity, Lois handed the phone to Clark who could guess that it was not going to be a easy call.

"Hello, Sam…"

Sam Lane, head of the DOD, was in his office. In TV was footage from the impact-site in Chisinau aired. And the desperate attempt to spread the news that it was a broken gas-pipe and not a meteor.

"What do you know about the meteors in Europe?"

"The meteors? Nothing! I was too late!"

"The last time a meteor was about to hit Earth, you were able to hear it before it even entered the atmosphere! And now we have three impacts in Europe and one in the Atlantic near the Scilly Islands. Something is going on!"

"I will keep my eyes open!" Clark promised and hung off.

Sam was about to finish for today and prepared to leave when suddenly the phone rang.

"Lane… Yes, I am!... What… where… a boy?... Lake Yellowstone…"

Jon meanwhile was flying twice as high as any commercial plane when he crossed the Atlantic to avoid any more collisions. Realizing that he was maybe good at flying, but not good in navigating, which he would have to learn. Instead of Ireland, what he expected to reach first on his way to London, he reached Morocco. So, Jon mad a turn to fly to north. Up the coast until he could identify Gibraltar. Using landmarks and his knowledge of the European geography to fly over Spain, the Biscay, passing the French Atlantic-coast and heading to North to get to London.

It was still dark. The sun wouldn't rise in another two hours at least. In Chisinau, where the energy-core of his pod crashed, it already began to become brighter. But here, Jon had to fly through the darkness… And suddenly he saw it! Right after passing the English Channel, he saw the big mass of lights that was London…

In his spacious mansion in London's Kensington Palace Gardens, Tal thought about getting some sleep before the night is over. Not that he really needed it, but out of habit. When he suddenly got this weird feeling…

"Uncle Tal…" Jon yelled loudly.

It was from the first moment, he heard in the radio about the supposed meteor-impact in Chisinau. And then later again when he had passed an Alpha Airlines jet over the Atlantic when he flew back. Tal had this feeling again and lift from the chair he was sitting when he could swear that someone was calling him by his Kryptonian name.

Tal opened the big swing door to his spacious terrace and looked up into the sky. First towards north… but suddenly something cached his attention from the other direction.

"Uncle Tal…"

Did someone just… this voice?! The only ones who call him Uncle Tal were Jordan and Natalie. And…

Tal turned around to look up to the sky in the South and used his own telescopic vision to zoom into a small black dot in the dark sky…

"Jon?!" Tal was shocked.

Was it really him? Was it Jon? The boy who changed his life? The boy who saved him from becoming a tyrant like his father. The boy who vanished with a pod into space four years ago.

Jon knew Tal's house. Four years ago, Tal showed it to him on Google Maps! And Jon kept this memory alive all the years. He saw it. He saw Tal's house when he approached and flew deeper over South London.

"Uncle Tal, it's me!"

"JON!"

Tal's mind went black. He ignored all his safety measures that prevent that someone could see him using his powers. Tal shoot into the air like a bullet and cached Jon in midair, right over the river Thames…

"Jon?!" Tal said in disbelief.

"Uncle Tal!" Jon said with a relieved smile.

Both were floating over the river. Over them the bright full moon. Below them, the lights of London…

Suddenly both start to cry waterfalls and hugged tightly while floating high over the ground arm-in-arm and turned off the world around them. Overwhelmed by the sudden reunion…

My thoughts about the upcomming season-finale that will air, while I am in bed. In Germany it will be midnight or 1 AM and I have to rely on the recaps and the YouTube clips...

As a avowing Jonathan-fan, I still hope for a real Jonathan meltdown. The season was a huge disappointment for everyone who hoped to see Jonathan truly adapting to his Kryptonian-heritage, building up a relationship with Lara or learning about Kryptonian technology. We saw Jonathan in the fortress only two times! One time he was not even allowed to be there by Clark. And his development is still impaired by his brother. His whole being is just about being in his brother's shadow and not getting a chance to prove that he has potential.

As the convinced pessimist I am, I assume that Jon does not get a chance for it and that the cliffhanger will be about Jordan. I join the group of people who hope that Jordan loses his powers one day, even if it's just for a episode or two. So all in all this season was a huge disappointment for Jon-Fans. The rest was good! Exept Jordans arrogance! But that's part of it.

I originally planned this story to be published after the last episode to let the finalle be included in this. Earth-TUD25 is going to be an important part of this story.

Stay tuned!
