Raphael's Big Mistake

Darkness

AN: I don't own anything. Rated T for language, because Raph.

"Are you sure you've got all the cases you need?"

"Yeah, I'm sure, Mom," Taylor says. "I didn't take much with me and I can always make two trips, right?"

In fact, she's pretty sure she's going to have to make two trips. April should have enough time to put up an ad for a new flatmate - that is, if she's OK. Taylor doesn't know what's gotten into her lately, but she was really freaking her out.

She'll give her a box of chocolates or something. Or some wine. No hard feelings, right?

And hey, if she snaps out of it, Taylor won't have to move back home!

"Let me know if you change your mind. Your room's exactly how you left it."

Taylor laughs. "Thanks. Love you, Mom. Bye!"

She hangs up and enters the building. It doesn't take her long to go up the stairs. She takes out her key and unlocks the door; a cup of coffee is exactly what she needs right now after the day she's had.

It's dark inside, which means April isn't back yet. Taylor feels relieved, then immediately feels guilty. She drops her bag on the floor, feels around for the light switch, then feels something cold. She turns to see what it is - and feels even colder.

That window wasn't open when she left.

Something goes over her head. She screams and tries to push it off, but someone grabs her hands and ties them behind her.

"Should have met us when ya had the chance."

Her captor picks her up, tosses her over a shoulder and leaps out the window.
