Problem

Leo growls with frustration. What was Raph thinking, going off by himself? That attitude of his is going to get him, or somebody else, killed if he's not careful.

Then he has an idea. "Wait, Donnie. This girl lives with April, right? If we can get her on our side, maybe she can help us."

Donnie looks around for a place to put the girl. He settles for placing her gently on the pile of blankets that serves as his bed.

"There might be a problem with that, Leo." His blue eyes betray how concerned he is. "I'm guessing Raph had her on his shoulder and he was jumping from roof to roof."

"Why is that a problem?"

"My scanner is picking up bruising around her ribs and abdomen." Donnie looks up at him. "We have plastrons, Leo. She doesn't."

Oh.

Leo thinks about the damage Raph's shell could do to a soft, vulnerable human stomach.

"Well, I hope he thinks his little stunt was worth it." Not only has it injured and traumatised an innocent person, it may have cost April her life.

April doesn't remember going to the coffee shop, but here she is. There was no way she was going to stay in the flat.

What is she going to do? She knows something's wrong, she just can't prove it other than Taylor's bag on the floor. Should she call the police?

"Do not tell a word about this to anyone. If you do, we will find you, April O'Neil."

Now she's terrified. What if the turtles found out she talked to Sacks? Donatello was able to hack her computer. What if they came to her flat and took Taylor by mistake?

Once they find out their mistake, they've got no reason at all to keep Taylor alive.

"Hey."

She looks up to see a man in a hoodie standing in front of her table.

"You don't remember me, do you?" He holds out a hand. "Casey Jones. Nice to meet you again."
