Yeah, I bit that bullet, after rereading KiddoistheBest's MHA Reacts: Marvel Cinematic Universe for the umpteenth time, and seeing some of the other companion fics to that story, I finally caved and decided to write my own. wanting to be a little different, and rereading what was currently being put down by Peacemaker808's companion story; The Executive Reports: MHA Cast Reacts to Miscellaneous Movies, I decided to take a page out of their book (even going as far as making it a sequel of that story...)
While the title of the story is Transformers, I did put down in parenthesis "& Others" they will be other mediums or franchises involved, one of these aforementioned others in the pipeline is a Disney movie (and another is a Dreamworks animated feature), but which one will have to wait, as it will be in-between Transformers stuff as a break for the cast, just to see something fun for the sake of being fun. And eventually, given the limited number of Transformer content worth (or even accessible) out there, will change franchises...
I gave Kiddo himself some ideas for his own story a while back, figured I would plant them here for him to build off of if he wants...
Without further ado, let's start the show...
Or as Kiddo would say...
Baboosh!
It hasn't been that long since their last guest host had left after introducing their set of necessary films at the Doomsday Theater. Their last host was the mysterious individual named "The Executive", who showed them plenty of relevant miscellaneous films, like Megamind or Kingsman: The Secret Service, to name a few examples. His tweaks to the theater to accommodate his presence didn't go unnoticed by the heroes & villains of My Hero Academia, especially as soon as he got the notification from his superiors, the Executive had to stress to them all that their next host is not someone you want to anger. He warned them that his tweaks were noticed by an especially powerful deity who was very high up on the celestial hierarchy and that incurring their wrath would result in not their deaths, but their very existence and their universe's as a whole would be on the line. He warned them that this individual is unpredictably dangerous if made an enemy, even by telling them just how dangerous their next host was by just saying a single sentence…
"This individual is someone who you would rather have as a friend, than as an enemy…"
Now a couple of days after the executive left, the entire viewing audience was met with a rather strange sight, the entire 'entrance' of the theater they spent who knows how long, was blocked off by construction boards and scaffolding littered with hazard signs. It was peculiar, but it didn't take too long before one of Kiddo's robots warned them the walls were radiating cosmic energy that would seriously mess everyone up if they so much as touched the walls, and they do not want to know what it means by "seriously messing them up…"
Izuku was worried about this new host and how absolutely dangerous they are, because while he still didn't show any sliver of emotions, their prior host was with them long enough for him to pick up on subtleties, and The Executive seemed just slightly, afraid when he warned them about their next host. But, Izuku wasn't sure if he only imagined the Executive being afraid of this new host, projecting his own fear onto the enigmatic man. He knew that his two associates were afraid of who this new guy was and that alone seemed to speak plenty of the power this individual would have. The context clues seem to indicate that their new host was either at or even higher level than their original MCU host. He sincerely hoped it was not the latter, as he is certain the only one like that would be God with a capital "G", and such is as unpredictable as any prior deity…
"Will you shut the hell up, you f**king nerd!" Bakugo snapped at the green-haired boy, catching said boy by surprise.
He felt a hand on his shoulder and saw Ochako look at him and said, "You were mumbling again Deku. I don't think you realized it…"
"Ah, so embarrassing…" Izuku muttered with a deep blush, trying so hard to hide his reddened face with a new notebook their previous host gifted them.
They were waiting in the lobby when they got the indicator that their new host is arriving. The U-A students were hoping for someone a little more normal, but the reminders of the Executive's warning squashed such ideas they had. The portal gate was open, and they could see the silhouette of someone walking toward them. The villains and a couple of the U-A teachers had earlier tried to escape through it, but they only phased through it like ghosts, landing face-first onto the floor.
"Took them long enough!" Tomura Shigaraki growled in frustration, he is expecting this host to play favorites to heroes again like every goddamn host prior, but he quickly corrected himself about the "goddamn" part, fearing such a phrase might be offensive enough to earn a one-way trip to oblivion.
As the figure stepped closer, Mina Ashido noticed in the portal, "Hey wait! There's two of them!"
Everyone looked closer and saw that what they thought was one figure was indeed two, they were very close to each other. They spaced out from each other and they saw that one seemed to have a masculine figure, but the other was definitely a female based on her figure.
'Siblings perhaps? Maybe a couple?' the shriveled frame of Toshinori Yagi, better known as All Might, thought in his mind. Having one main host with a couple of helpers or assistants is something they're used to, but having two hosts at once is a new thing.
The figures stepped out of the portal and they got a good look at their new hosts. What caught the group a little off guard was the two's apparent age, as they looked to be about the same age as the Big Three of U-A. They were also so used to their hosts having distinct or unique features that, seeing what looked like ordinary people was about as surprising to them as seeing all the crazy stuff they'd seen prior. Ordinary seemed to be quite accurate, as the two looked like dead ringers for pre-quirk Quirkless people, they both had brown hair and seemed Caucasian as far as ethnicity is concerned. Those are as far as features the two share, as for traits individually…
The first was a man, he looked young (as they assumed) with brown eyes. His hair was a little long for a boy, maybe as much as Midoriya's if his hair wasn't as fluffy. He had a somewhat lean frame, but it doesn't mean he was weak, as perfectly defined muscles made him decent eye candy for the entire female demographic in the group is any indicator. Speaking of, the young man was very handsome (All Might could only assume as most of the young girls were blushing quite a bit, Eri is a slight exception), some noticed that his youthful face made him look, for the lack of a better descriptor for his overall appearance, "he looked like an average anime character ripped straight from the medium." He was tall, but not that tall, he was perhaps a few inches shorter than boys like Sato or Shoji. He wore a typical outfit found on most boys his age back in their world (likely to make them more approachable, the former #1 pro thought), and he wore a baseball cap, his red and white sneakers definitely caught his attention as they reminded him of a really popular video game mascot back home. What caught his attention was the boy's eyes, his gaze oozed a passive confidence that made it clear that this young man can and will beat everyone present if he so chooses. An intensity that told All Might that this boy, he has with almost certainty, fought against and survived threats that are likely matched by the various villains he's seen in their films. All Might noticed he wasn't the only one who picked up on this aura the boy had, most of his fellow pros noticed, and he can see that Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki, Ida, and surprisingly, All for One himself, had also noticed. As for the girls who were ogling at the boy, All Might noticed that Momo Yaoyorozu (her blush being about as noticeable as Midoriya's), Melissa Shield (similar to Yaoyorozu), Itsuka Kendo (same as Melissa and Momo), Yui Kodai (she was trying and failing to have her face pointed away from the boy), Nejire Hado (she was quickly running her hand over her hair to clean it up a little and get rid of any tangles or stray strands), Midnight (she had an obvious blush, but a hungry expression), Pixie Bob (similar to Midnight), and surprisingly Mei Hatsume (she was looking over his body likely through her quirk, and had a smile that somehow seemed dangerous), were the worst offenders…
He then turned his attention to the second figure and was caught a little off guard by a similar vibe she was radiating off her person. But what made his jaw drop was how she looked, which could only be described in one word, beautiful. The girl was close to the boy's age, but she had a mature and curvaceous figure that made every man in the room stare (well, not all of them were staring at her because she was beautiful), All Might knew that while she is quite lovely in appearance, he knew that he doesn't quite have that drive his male students were conveying (even his successor wasn't immune to her beauty, based on his flustered and shy expression). Her aforementioned figure was that of a decently modest waist, but large hips and chest, she was an inch or a little over shorter than her companion. She had striking eyes as blue as a clear sky, a stark contrast to her companion's own lovely, but otherwise plain eyes. Her appearance is similar to her companion's in the "ripped from an anime" comparison, and the looks Mineta Minoru we're giving her we're quite obvious. Her face was very beautiful, any man would fall for her on that alone, devoid of blemishes, and apparently not wearing any kind of makeup on her at all. Her face was framed quite perfectly by her long hair, long enough to where despite being tied up into a pair of side buns with pigtails, the tails reached her naval area. Toshinori noticed everyone's impressions of her, most of the men were gawking, drooling, blushing profusely, or any mixture of those things. The women in the group were gawking as well, but most of them showed signs of obvious jealousy over her beauty. The worst offenders of the aforementioned jealousy include Kyoka Jiro (likely feeling self-conscious over her own figure & jacking at Denki Kaminari for his gawking at the woman), Ochako (who All Might noticed little by little throughout the films was getting more obvious she is crushing on Midoriya), La Brava (who was pinching Gentle's ear for staring at the woman with his mouth open like a fish), and Pixie Bob (for obvious reasons…)
Bakugo was ready to blow up at Midoriya when he was ready to ask the two questions, but the boy with the cap closed his eyes and held up a finger.
'Probably wants us to be quiet…' Toshinori thought as Ida began acting on his class president spiel and offered his greetings on behalf of the entire audience, which the retired pro noticed the boy not responding to the speedster, '…Or, maybe not…'
The girl looked at her companion with a somewhat curious look, which her intense presence softened up considerably. Toshinori noticed how she looked at the silent boy, then saw her bring a hand up and on her ring finger…
'Okay, couple it is…married even…' All Might thought as he saw the wedding ring on the girl's finger, then saw the same ring on the boy's finger. The two hosts were husband and wife, which could mean things won't be as crazy as their prior hosts' tenures.
"…Okay…" the boy spoke as he opened his eyes, everyone noticing he sounded as young as he looked (and he spoke fluent Japanese, which was a relief for them compared to their previous hosts), "Outside of the others that Kiddo guy is reserving for Phase 2 & 3 of the MCU, everyone we were told about is present and accounted for…"
"So he was doing roll call, okay…" Kosei said as the young man's actions made sense now, but he clearly was hiding a two-fold jealousy over him, for marrying such an unbelievable hottie and attracting the gazes of almost every girl present.
Shota Aizawa caught what the boy said about "others Kiddo was saving for the MCU", but what was going on in his mind was how he was certain about that. 'I checked the entire building top to bottom for anyone else or a way out every interlude or extended break. How could he know everyone is present just by closing his eye–'
"Whoa, how'd you do that?" Present Mic asked, "That's kinda spooky what you have said…"
"Spooky…" Reiko Yanagi whispered with a slight hint of excitement, her blush hidden behind her sleeves.
The boy's companion answered, "He sensed your life energy, or as it is sometimes known by any of the following: Aura, Ki, or Chi…"
Even All Might wasn't prepared for the young woman to speak, she sounded similar to his students, but still is considered a very lovely voice (she spoke very fluent Japanese as well, but slight subtleties indicated English was her birth language). However, he couldn't help but feel her voice was slightly familiar. Little did he know, All for One noticed it too, the familiar voice, and somehow, it was trudging up memories of a woman he knew…
"Chi…that's a thing involving Chinese medicine or–" Izuku began mumbling as he started to write in his new notebook about the new hosts, only for Bakugo to shout, "Oh come the f**k on you shitty nerd! We have better things to do than hear you nerd out over some stupid Chinese bullshit!"
Hiryu Rin took offense to that, which both hosts noticed as the girl 'whispered' to her husband, "I can see that he's a jerk here as well, I swear, that boy needs a serious attitude adjustment…"
The mention of the 'as well' part in the girl's statement caught the adults' attention as well as the more observant students. Bakugo didn't hear that, apparently, as he snapped back over the last three words she said.
"The f**king hell I need an attitude adjustment!" Bakugo began to argue, but the boy interrupted him.
"That remark about 'Chinese bullshit' is a very offensive thing to say Bakugo, especially since one of your fellow classmates is from China. It isn't tolerated on the Internet or at school, and it certainly isn't tolerated around me. Anyone making offensive remarks like that around me will end up with either their tongues or something I won't mention in front of the children, cut off. Do I make myself clear?"
That threat made some of them hover their hands over their mouths, or for some of the guys, cover their crotches out of fear and praying he was joking, but the tone gave off the "I'm 100% serious" vibes none of them want to find out if it was a bluff. Everyone wordlessly complied with their host's demand, Rin was thankful that their host was sticking up for him and not tolerating such insulting things being said.
"And Bakugo…" the boy spoke to the explosive teen, "…I know asking you not to curse like a sailor is like asking a snake not to bite. But please, at least try to censor yourself in front of children, it reflects badly on your public image if you want to be the number one pro hero. Honestly, I don't think you can do it if experience has told me anything. Probably too much of a challenge for someone with such a limited mental capacity like you…"
That triggered Bakugo, Izuku could see how much his friend wanted to murder this guy, but could also see Bakugo not attempting to act on such desires. The Executive's warning rang in both their minds.
"Showing some restraint over me insulting your intelligence…color me surprised, and I was going to say that if you attack me, it will only be confirmation that I was right in my statement…perhaps there's hope for you yet…" The young man said, as he feigned intrigue, which tipped off the more observant individuals.
'He's clever…he knows how to talk to individuals and plays them into his hands…' Detective Tsukauchi thought, putting his guard up even more.
'That makes him extraordinarily dangerous indeed, the Executive's warning was right…' All for One thought with a very slight, envious grin, he wished such manipulation was a quirk he could steal.
Bakugo replied, "Oh yeah?! I'll show you, you smug f**ker!"
The young man sighed as he said to himself loudly, "And, you already failed, not even two seconds, you've done better before, or at least the you I am familiar with…"
Bakugo shouted "F**k!" at that, then realized he failed again almost immediately and nearly cursed again, only to catch himself, with Tsuyu Asui to remark he was learning, which prompted the boy to curse yet again and realize his blunder yet again.
The young man had an amused, almost smug grin at what he did, only for his wife to pinch his side hard enough to make him yelp in pain as she said, "Honestly, don't mess with people like that. Bakugo's annoying as hell with that sailor's mouth he has, but you can't say stuff like that to people…!"
Everyone saw that the young man slightly cower and apologize to his wife, it soon became clear who is the top dog between the two.
'So the girl is the one who "wears the boots in the family" as that saying goes, so she's the one in charge. Noted…' Izuku wrote down in his notebook, unaware of Ochako dealing with a slight personal drama happening internally.
"Oh, where are our manners, my name is Sean Takashi Hashimoto…" the boy said once things calmed down a little, "…and this is my beloved wife, Rosa Marie Hashimoto nee Parker…"
"A pleasure to meet all of you…" Rosa added as she bowed, it caught most of them off-guard as she is clearly a foreigner by her name and barely audible inflections in her voice, but the words were fluent, and the cultural cues are spot on like she was a native of Japan.
It took a bit for everyone to register that they should bow back, a slightly embarrassing thing to admit. They now know the names, and it told a bit about them. Izuku noted that Sean was a native of Japan by his voice and name, but it's likely he's half-foreigner due to his appearance looking more like he's from the same country as his wife, who is clearly a foreigner to Japan.
"Goddamit! Why, why is this triple-A, world-class hottie already married? And to a guy like him of all people!? It's so unfair he gets to enjoy doing sexy things with her! He gets to squeeze those wonderful mounds all he wants! And he gets to f–!" Mineta mumbled under his breath as he imagined all sorts of non-PG things he would do to Rosa.
Kyoka heard Mineta's mumblings and grew increasingly disgusted and angry as his quiet rant grew even more degenerate. Izuku was next to the pervert, and he heard the things too, as well as Ochako, the greenette was tolerant of his disgusting antics despite his revulsion to them, but Izuku had limits. Mineta had well past Izuku's tolerance threshold, he resolved to shut the purple midget up before either Ochako or Kyoka do (which would likely kill the sleazeball). But before he could whack him on the crown of his head, Mineta was picked up by the shirt collar, scaring the boy as Sean looked at him with a blood-lust look in his eyes.
"You know, I could hear every single word coming out of your mouth regarding my wife, Minoru Mineta. I do not appreciate you talking about the love of my existence like you just did…"
His eyes promised a pain that would make Mineta deathly afraid of girls, and the midget apologized profusely to both Sean and the target of his ramblings. All the girls swooned at Sean calling Rosa the "love of his existence", somehow hearing that sounded even more romantic than the "love of my life" line used in every romance media. Even the guys were impressed, deciding to save that line for later, and Izuku looked at Rosa as her husband brought him in front of Aizawa and Nezu and told them exactly what he heard Mineta say. Rosa's somewhat plain expression to slight annoyance was replaced on her face with an all too familiar look of a girl in love, she looked really pleased.
Mineta, fortunately for the little pervert, wasn't expelled from the hero course for what he said about Rosa, but Aizawa warned him he would've been blacklisted from every school with a hero course with the things he said. Nezu said he will be punished for such behavior, and it will be harsh, and that he should give proper thanks to the very woman he said such vulgar things to that his punishment wasn't harsher because she was willing to forget, but not forgive, those things he said. Nezu even teased that if he doesn't want her to rescind her vouch, he should really learn that acting on urges only ends in misery.
All for One was smirking as, while Sean clearly faced beings before that, begrudgingly, make him look weak by comparison, he has a weakness in regards to his wife. A weakness he could exploit and turn around if the Executive's warnings are to be believed. Rosa has had similar experiences as her husband, but she gives off vibes that she is way out of practice of whatever spells, or whatever she had. He just continued smirking as plans began to form in his mind, even as the boy noticed he was looking at him. He crooked an eyebrow as he looked back at the League of Villain's true leader. His smirk disappeared when Sean said something that caught him way off guard…
"Oh! You're here All For One? I sensed your aura, but I guess I forgot about you, didn't think you were still alive considering your personality, I figured one of the prior hosts would've exterminated you already…"
"Like I've already done dozens of times…"
All For One thought he was bluffing or lying, but he didn't even need to use his lie-detector quirk he stole centuries ago to tell by the tone and choice of words, Sean was completely serious. The aforementioned quirk only reinforced his now-rising fear, he was killed- no, exterminated by him before. Multiple times over. Easily even if his tone is any further proof of his words. Detective Tsukauchi was greatly unnerved as well due to his quirk registering Sean's words as truth.
"Lies!" Tomura exclaimed, "Sensei is invincible, how can you kill someone that many times over, what you said is impossible!"
Sean made an "ah, of course," gesture as he replied, "Right. The explanation is simple: you are aware of infinite universes already, which also means there are that many alternate versions of all of you. I think the last host said that already, variants, correct?"
Izuku wanted to slap himself silly for forgetting that and misinterpreting his words about killing All For One dozens of times over.
"Oh yeah! That really plain guy with the Executive said so as well, what's his name?" Ochako said as the puzzle in her mind clicked at Sean's rather confusing words.
"Daryl, Ururaka. His name is Daryl…" Sean said.
"Honey…" Rosa said to her husband, "…we're falling behind schedule just talking with them…"
Sean slapped his forehead as he remarked, "Shoot, you're right. Okay, the short and skinny of it is that Rosa and I know lots about a lot of you because we've met variants of you guys before in our lives in the land of the living. In fact, as far as the reality we lived in is concerned, we know things about you that either will happen in your future, or we know a lot about your secrets. So, yeah. My wife and I know the actual deal with Midoriya's quirk, we know who a lot of you are crushing on, we know your villainous schemes, and yes, we know the identity of the U-A traitor…"
This greatly shocked a good chunk of the group, especially those who were called out. Nezu and Aizawa nearly jumped at the young man once he said that he and his wife know the identity of the U-A traitor (while conveniently not noticing the somewhat obvious clues Aoyama we're giving.) All For One growled at that, meaning all these two have to do is blab, and his plans are ruined, especially with his mole, which he noticed was beginning to grow more and more spineless as these films continued.
But, All For One allowed himself to sigh in relief once Sean elaborated as he headed for the theater room, "But, there's a certain order of events that must happen at specific times, to ensure your universe remains a stable reality, so we aren't allowed to tell any of you these secrets. Sorry for that, but we're running behind and we should head for the theater room immediately to get started…"
Nezu sighed in defeat, here he was hoping that the one wrinkle in U-A's security and the safety of his students would be revealed, but as Sean said, he wasn't allowed for, it seems cosmic stability reasons. The answer to that puzzle and the plans of the League of Villains were right there, and they are forced to keep it to themselves.
Izuku got over his panic at Sean mentioning that he and Rosa knew the truth about One for All, recalling that it seemed every host knew this as well. But, realizing something else he rushed up behind Rosa and Sean as he asked them.
"H-hey wait! You never told us what we are going to watch, all the previous hosts did…"
That caused the two leading the group and turned around with confused looks. Rosa then asked the boy, "Hold on, she never told you?"
This surprised and confused everyone, never told what? What are they talking about? Aren't they the hosts? Shouldn't they know? These were questions that were rolling around in their heads.
Suddenly, Sean let out a sigh of clear annoyance as he said, "Rosa, I think we're in the middle of one of her kicks for giggles. We were just told to do a roll call, introduce ourselves, and all that. You asked if they knew we were coming, but she never answered. I think we got pranked…"
That was an even bigger shocker, prompting Eijiro Kirishima to say, "Hold up, What?! Aren't you guys the hosts? You entered the portal the other hosts arrived through?"
Rosa looked surprised at the red-haired student, but then her face twisted to frustration as she said, "That was what that portal was? But, how-…*annoyed sigh*…that deity is in hot water for this, I am going to give that woman a piece of my mind…"
Rosa angrily stomped to the theater, confusing everyone until Sean answered Kirishima's first question, "We aren't the hosts, we were asked (more so forced) to tag along and assist your actual host…"
"Wait WHAAAAAAAT?! YOU ARE NOT THE ACTUAL HOST?!" everyone exclaimed in unison.
Bakugo cursed loudly at the thought that he was in the middle of their actual host's prank, and was not happy, not caring if he was failing the challenge the now-revealed assistant of the actual host placed on him. Even Aizawa was close to losing his cool over the apparent immaturity of their new host, by playing such an unamusing joke on them, ready to curse himself like his other problem child.
"Frankly, I'm as annoyed as the lot of you. I honestly should've seen this coming considering how long I've known her…it's frustrating that I keep falling for her tricks even after all this time in my life and afterlife…" Sean added, which caught everyone's attention at him saying 'afterlife', and given his and his wife's appearance, indicated…
'Oh…I'm so sorry for the two of you…' Izuku thought grimly.
Once they neared the theater room, finding it a little odd it was the room they were watching the MCU with Kiddo, seeing that there was an indicator that there is a film on the title plague, but found it odd that it was blank, a black streak over where the film's title would be. They heard from behind the door, Rosa giving someone a verbal thrashing, and a new voice laughing inside.
'So our new host snuck past us and was waiting in the theater room already. Wait until I give her a piece of my mind over her unprofessional conduct…' Aizawa thought as they entered the theater room.
Sure enough, they see Rosa looking quite miffed as a woman close to her age patted the brunette's head like a mother with her child. One of the more striking features of this woman (correctly assuming she is their actual new host) was her long pink hair, and wearing armor that seemed eerily familiar to the students. She was very beautiful herself, with a perfectly clear face, and a curvy, shapely body (but not as shapely as Rosa is obvious at a glance). She was about an inch taller than Rosa. Aizawa was almost ready to match up to the pink-haired woman to criticize her professionalism, but he froze when the woman turned around to face them…
"Oh, hello everyone, glad you all can be here…" she said with a warm, inviting smile, revealing eyes colored red like blood and they seemed to glow a little…
Aizawa was trembling with fear as the base instinct to survive kicked into overdrive, nearly overwriting his drive to protect his students. He sensed that he wasn't the only one feeling this overwhelming dread coming from their new host, everyone felt it as they readied themselves to fight tooth and nail to survive. The children clung to their guardians desperately, trying to not cry out of fear. Despite the friendly tone of their new host, she was radiating such dangerous vibes that, it would be fair to say she felt like some kind of eldritch, Lovecraftian horror, despite looking about as friendly as their other hosts. She's extremely dangerous, was what was going through the minds of the adults.
All For One himself was trembling in fear, feeling the animalistic urge to flee and survive kicking into overtime in his being. He was scared of Kiddo, even their original host made that clear, but he was terrified of their new host. Kiddo was once a mortal who became a god, their new host was a god from the start, it seemed obvious from feeling the vibes she was giving off. The shadow king of Japan felt true fear of this woman. He could somehow tell that she merely needed any excuse out there, to completely obliterate him, his plans, his whole reality. Gone, in the blink of an eye.
They were so focused on the new host that they jumped in fright when a new voice spoke to their host, "That is enough, you are risking all of them to have heart attacks with you exercising your energy sister…"
They whirled around to see a tall, very handsome young man with dark blue hair and wearing similar, familiar armor to his, now-known sister. He had eyes as red as hers as well and was about two inches taller than Sean, he was well-built but wasn't buff like a bodybuilder, he somewhat had a frame similar to Mezo Shoji to be frank. His hair was wild and long as well, but was shorter than Sean's hair length, but they wouldn't know it because he wore a helmet of some kind with a slightly longer cranium than most helmets he's seen with the shape as their host's brother. His chest plate was distinctive as well, as the very center housed a glowing navy blue gemstone that faded dimly and brightly with every breath the young man took.
The oppressive aura everyone felt was released like a huge weight was lifted off their shoulders. They heard their host say to her brother, "Oh, sorry, I had just finished punishing Cthulhu for his stupid stunt, had to vent my frustrations over that blunder of his. I'm a little shocked myself I was still angry at him, even after he was apologizing to me and swore he will make it up to me…"
Nezu heard that apparently the famed literary deity Cthulhu penned by H. P. Lovecraft was being punished by their host. If this Cthulhu was anything like the entity from Lovecraft's stories, that only made their new host all the more dangerous. He wasn't the only one as everyone even remotely familiar with the Lovecraftian deity suddenly felt tense again.
"Wait, Cthulhu? As in that octopus guy who brings about the end of the world? That Cthulhu?!" Shihai Kuroiro exclaimed in a whispered shout.
"Revelry in the Dark…" Fumikage Tokoyami muttered in fear, as he thought the same thing everyone else was thinking…
If their new host punished someone like Cthulhu, and if what she said was any further indication, said deity was afraid of her wrath, just how much worse was she, really?
Sensing the frightened stares, their new host and her brother turned to face their guests, as Sean walked up to a frightened Eri and said with a warm smile to the little girl, "Don't worry Eri, nothing bad is going to happen to you, all four of us have a soft spot for you, and your other young friends…"
He gently patted the girl's head and then handed the four children four wrapped-up bars of Rainbow Rice Krispy Treats, which they all took and ate the treats with satisfied smiles at having the sweet treats. Aizawa sighed with relief that it seemed the couple who first appeared before them had noticeable affection for the very young quartet. Izuku also had relief that the two did care for the young children.
"Might as well introduce myself…" their pink-haired hostess said, catching everyone's attention, "…for now, my real name is to remain a secret for the first few films we watch, so you can call me by one of the names humans gave me in my home reality, Izanami. And yes, as in the Shinto Goddess of the same name, if you were wondering…"
Izanami's brother then said to the group (speaking in a very monotone voice similar to the Executive), "By that logic, and for similar reasons that my twin sister said, you may call me Izanagi if you wish. I would have forgone the need to keep my real name a secret, but my sister insisted it would be better this way…"
Momo chuckled a little as she remarked, "It is a little amusing that your names are the same as the Shinto creator gods. Somehow, I get the feeling that it was a joke of some kind…"
Before Ida could add to Yaoyorozu's statement, Izanami started, "Oh no, it's no joke. The names me and my twin brother gave you are clues to our real names, as such deities served as an inspiration to us in realities were the two of us are fictional characters…"
Nezu rubbed his chin at that, noting that they are considered fictional in some other realities.
"Moving on from names…" Izanami stated matter of factly, "…I think it's a little overdue for some explanations of what's going on, and what we will be watching. So kindly plant your rears on your seats before I decide to make them swollen, sore, and red to any adult or jack*** with a spiked paddle…"
Everyone immediately sat down at that threat, some of the guys covering their butts out of fear. Sean and Rosa sat beside Izanagi close to the last row the group was seated. Izanagi shot his sister an emotionless glare, which prompted Izanami to reply.
"Yes, yes, I get it nee-chan, I'll behave according to Kiddo's rules and the conditions both he and our dad gave us. And you're here because I can't be trusted to do this alone after pestering Kiddo to let me join in on this fun until he relented…"
It slightly unnerved everyone that Izanami admitted to pestering their original host to have her help out with the whole thing they are currently involved with.
She sighed as her brother's expression softened (or at least they think it softened, hard to tell as he has a perfect poker face), then she continued, "Well, thanks to a mutual friend of mine, I have been keeping an eye on you lot since day one of your little reaction deal."
Izuku was a little unnerved by the fact that this deity had been watching them all since they first arrived, watching the MCU with Kiddo, but based on her words, what she meant by day one could easily mean she was watching them since their first host abducted them.
"I was impressed by what he has done, but he really could've done better as a host. There were a couple of things I was very annoyed he didn't do since day one of your little reaction to multiple universes in the forms of films or television (I don't know about that last one if I'm honest…)" Izanami said, Aizawa had to give his terrifying new host that, Kiddo was a gracious host, but he could always be a better one.
"The Executive, your prior host, had already started on rectifying one of those problems, as he and his co-workers fixed the theater as it had those anomalies that started cropping up once he showed up. Is that correct?" Izanami asked, to which everyone agreed, recalling those weird anomalies during their tall host's tenure.
Nezu answered, "Oh yes, there were plenty that caught our attention, Ms. Izanami…"
"Well, if you saw that the entire front door to the theater was boarded up, that is something I was working on while you guys were distracted with other things in the theater," Izanami said with a smile, "Honestly, it should've been the first thing that Dragonblood should've done considering the idea that some of you might get a little stir crazy being confined inside a theater floating in space…"
Kiddo was slaying a demon when he stiffened all of a sudden. His companions noticed as they asked what was wrong.
"I feel like I've been insulted for my handiwork just now…" he replied as he pulled his weapon close.
"Knowing your luck Kiddo, it's probably that goddess who oversees the barriers separating dimensions. The one you tried to confess to, and got rejected…" a friend of his said as he blasted a demon.
Kiddo whirled around and said with a red face, "Th-that's not true! I never had a crush on her!"
"Could've fooled me with your reaction just now…" another demon slayer said, to which another said, "No, he's correct, that rumor was for someone else, and not the girl who pestered him into joining. Hey Kiddo, wasn't that goddess's human companions friends of yours?"
Kiddo replied, "Yeah, they helped me out with a major problem so long ago, I owed them for it, even if their help was unnecessary. Still have yet to repay them…"
"Well, we know how crazy that chick is…" the commanding officer said as he tossed a grenade, "At least her brother and said human companions are there to make sure she doesn't go overboard with whatever she plans to do at that theater of yours…"
"Her father helped me lay down ground rules she has to follow or risk getting in trouble with him, so I'm glad he helped me. The last thing I need is to come back and find the villains' carcasses displayed in a fashion ala Vlad the Impaler…" Kiddo remarked but he had to wonder how in the heck did that deity manage to get him to agree to let her run the show after the Executive…and he also is very apprehensive over that other thing she asked him, given what she is like, and how his guests will handle it…
'I have some very unfriendly things to say and do to those who insulted me, but I'll let them live as I am not allowed…how boring…' Izanami thought in slight annoyance as she said next.
"Regardless of my grievances, I'm still going to fix those problems. The Executive's people did a fine job stabilizing the space of the Doomsday Theater. If they didn't my presence would've…uh…actually, you do not want to know what would happen. That would be one mess I don't want to clean up. So I further stabilized the little pocket dimension we find ourselves in that, as luck would have it, would make things much easier for Kiddo from this point onward for him when he returns, no more destabilizing space, no more flashes of alternate futures in the audience…"
Everyone shuddered at the thought of whatever "mess" Izanami said she would've had to clean up. They were glad that the anomalies and all these other problems wouldn't be a problem anymore. The few who had memories of things that were odd in their minds (aka those affected by time memories), suddenly got clarification on what they experienced, flashes of parallel futures, but for a few, that didn't sit well with them. They were also glad that Izanami seemed to have done Kiddo a solid by making managing the theater easier for him going forward.
Izuku then asked the host, "Uh, Doomsday…Theater…?"
Izanagi answered, "That is the name of the theater you are currently inside, Kiddo decided it when he created the theater in the first place. Why Doomsday Theater? Similar reasons for the name of the bar…"
"Oooh…" was the only response from those who wondered the same thing as Izuku.
Izanami then said, "Okay, rules under my watch are the same as the previous hosts, no killing or fighting. But, unlike your hosts from before, breaking those rules, won't result in your erasure or death. Oh no, what I have in mind to punish the rule breakers is so much worse, it would make you lot beg for the sweet mercy that is death when I'm through with you. So for your own sake, please don't break the rules you have been following up to now…okay…?"
Everyone agreed, some not even wanting to know what she would do to make death seem like a mercy. Her brother then said, "You know you're not allowed to do anything that will leave lasting damage, it is why our father had me, Sean, and Rosa accompany you…"
"Nothing physical, I know, nothing mental, I know…jeez, what are you, the fun police…?" Izanami said, to the relief of everyone.
Rosa said to her friend, "Alright, could you just move on to the next part of the host deal, 'Izanami'? They should know what they are going to watch…"
Izuku shared a bit of curiosity over what the group is going to see, along with most of the others in the audience. He hopes the films have more heroes in them, while fully expecting Bakugo to want more violent films like a few the Executive shared in his tenure.
Izanami giggled a little, as she started, "Yes, of course, but before that, I did bring a guest that Kiddo forgot to bring the first time around from your world. He's already been briefed on what is going on, and thanks to my brother, he also knows all the prior films you guys have seen, all the way back to Iron Man."
"Not that f**ker again!" Tomura exclaimed at the mention of Tony Stark, his personal nemesis by this point.
Izanami pointed at Shigaraki as she said, "Watch that language with me and Sean buddy, there are impressionable kids present…"
Eri, Kota, Mahoro, and Katsuma couldn't help but smile a little at Izanami flashing them a very friendly smile.
Izanami then continued, "As for the identity of who this is…Sean, you can let him in now…"
Sean nodded, as he got up and headed out of the door to get this new guest, with Izanami continuing to speak, now getting to the real meat and potatoes of their new host, what they will be seeing.
"To be perfectly honest with a lot of you I only had a vague idea of the 'theme' of what you guys will see, what universe or franchise will I focus on. But, I ended up flooded with plenty of ideas when I got the green light to host, that it would be hard to justify the franchise I initially settled on. There weren't as many films in this one as I like, especially when there are a few I felt were stinkers worth ignoring. So, I'm taking a page out of the Executive's book and showing you various realities through the medium of films, but if there's a common theme, I'll leave it to the more analytical of you guys to find the common theme connecting all these films I will show you."
Izuku was intrigued as much as the rest of the aforementioned analytically-minded, different films that have a common theme.
"Oh! Also, we will watch a few films for the sake of films, once I noticed certain titles were any of the following in your specific reality: lost to time, did poorly, or was a casualty of the advent of Quirks, maybe a combination of any or all three… Those films will serve as fun breaks from sticking to one reality or row of films. Something to just relax and enjoy for the sake of enjoying watching a fun movie, you could take such films as lessons if you want to, but bear in mind it will be chosen purely for the sake of having fun and nothing else, okay?"
All For One was intrigued by that last statement, seeing films lost to time due to Quirks first appearing, he could recall quite a few he has seen in his youth and wondered if his new host will show any of the ones he remembers from his youth.
"I brought your new guest!" Sean said as he opened the door, the aforementioned guest arriving right behind him. Everyone turned around to see who was it that Kiddo left out that Izanami felt should've joined in the first place. For a good chunk of Class 1-A, the new guest looked familiar. He kinda looked like–
"DADDY?!" Melissa Shield sprung up in surprise, Izuku turned to face Melissa as she looked at the two by the door, then turned to see that Izanami's guest was indeed David Shield, Melissa's father.
"Hi, honey, glad to see you're safe…" David said as he walked down to meet his daughter halfway to hug her.
Izuku was glad that Melissa got to have her father join them but was slightly jealous that his mom couldn't be here to join them as well.
"Dave! Ha-ha, didn't think our host meant you were going to join us…" All Might said to his former sidekick.
"Glad to see you as well All Might…" David said as the two chatted up a little.
Izanami then said once she coughed to get the two's attention, said two agreed to continue talking afterward.
"Yes, David Shield will be joining us from now on, (or at least as long as the Kiddie-Goddie allows it), so onto what we will start off with watching…" Izanami expressed and clearly paused for dramatic effect.
It kinda worked as most of the students leaned closer to her in front of the screen, she then spoke with a smile that Aizawa couldn't help but compare to real problem children he had to teach prior years, the "class clowns", and of course, Ms. Joke…
"The first film we will be watching is what I initially had as the universe or 'franchise' as I like to call them, I would've focused on. As you entered the theater, you noticed that the film's title was blacked out, that isn't a coincidence, as I want this first film to be a surprise for you all. A hint of what it entails, it is another good vs. evil story you have all seen since day one. But, the difference here is that there's no single hero or villain to be focused on."
Izuku was excited as he asked, "So, it's an ensemble film, like The Avengers?"
Izanami snapped her fingers as she said, "You are partially right, Izuku Midoriya. The 'franchise' is mostly an ensemble not really because it's one hero with a bunch of sidekicks or helpers, but because it as a greater whole, has a plethora of different characters on both sides of the morality spectrum that many of you can connect with whether they are a good guy, a bad guy, or somewhere in between. It's also an ensemble because one of the key factors of this particular cluster of existence is a term many of you are already familiar with. I'll leave it to you to find out what this thing is once we start. In realities where this universe is just a media franchise, it started off quite simply of good guys versus bad guys just because, but over the decades it's been around in those aforementioned universes, that whole 'good is good, and bad is bad' started to become more…nuanced or complicated, I believe is the term."
Nezu already had a feeling that he knows what this mentioned key factor is based on the clues already given by their host, but he decided to keep it to himself for now. Wanting to see if his students could figure it out, and also to see if his hunch was right.
"Well, there were two ways I thought about how to start this off, through one of two films, one of which is technically a prequel that became a soft reboot. The other was the first released in this series' order by debut dates, there was also a third option, but it was hard to choose since all three were technically under the 'you are already familiar with this property already, so we don't need to explain it all that well' kind of rule."
That made some of the audience a little worried about getting lost over what was going on if that is what the potential first film falls under. Izuku in particular was worried the most, especially since all the prior films had proper setups to explain their worlds. He hopes that Izanami at least would choose the easiest one of the potential three options provided.
He gets his answer when the pink-haired girl said, "After mulling it over some, I've decided to go with, what I call the 'casual mystery route' where you are basically a casual viewer who either never heard of the IP, or only have passive knowledge of it. You will experience what a lot of people in some realities did, their first exposure to this property. Hardcore fans would already know about it, my assistants fill in that niche for this film."
Everyone turned to face Sean and Rosa, noticing a small, excited smile on Rosa's face, like she just figured out what they were going to watch.
"Me, my brother, and my two friends will fill you in when necessary about some things. But, assume we won't tell you anything as far as this first film is concerned. But, as a small surprise for my stand-in 'hardcore' fans, I've selected a slightly different variant of the film they are familiar with, which would carry on through any sequels we will see…" Izanami gestured to the married couple.
Sean said, "Well color me intrigued, how different are we talking?"
Izanagi answered, "A few more characters, or character replacements, even slight characterization tweaks or tweaks to their designs, but the story remains the same from start to finish…"
Rosa said, "Ooo…I can't wait to see who was added in this version of that movie…"
Izanami then clapped her hands, noticing the theater room change a little, the lights begin dimming, then the deity host then continued…
"Okay, there are two more things to note about this movie. Hatsume, Shields, All Might, Midoriya, Bakugo, AFO, & Nezu, you guys will like this film in particular as well as the little kids, that's all I have to say in that front."
The named individuals perked up at this, curious about what is it about this film they will like in particular. Izuku thinks based on the listed people, it would be a violent film that has heroic heroes, tons of machines, and a lot of chaos, but still be suitable for Eri, Kota, Mahoro, & Katsuma to watch and enjoy.
Izanami continued as she then warped to sit next to her brother, "And the second thing to note is to pay attention to these two sounds as they are associated with the titular characters of this first film of ours…"
She lifted a finger and suddenly, two similar yet distinct sounds played over the speakers. Izuku was confused about why these sounds, in particular, are worth noting but looking to see Rosa's excited smile turn into an excited grin, he figured out that Rosa knows exactly what those sounds are.
Nezu remarked to himself, "It would be hard to not notice those sounds in particular. They're very distinct and attention-grabbing, I dare say they even sound iconic…"
Midnight added, "They sound mechanical, like a machine powering up or shifting…"
Hatsume was giddy with excitement as she said, "Yes! More babies for me to see and potentially build. Green-top, I'll need that notebook of yours after we are done!"
Izuku nervously sighed as if expecting the support-course student to flat-out rip the notebook from his hands to draw whatever machines will appear in the film.
"I really hope it isn't another Iron b***h, or I'll be really mad…" Shigaraki said, scratching his neck in irritation.
The screen lit up, they are ready to see the first film of their new host's tenure…
