Tormented
The Kell
I apologize for the late update guys (it's like 11:30 p.m where I'm like) but I didn't really have the time to write last week and the time I did have was met with writer's block. It's just with my luck that I finally managed to snap out of it yesterday but of course, I was busy. Anyways, shout out to Lazypersons and AAA for reviewing, really appreciate it!
AAA - My Iron Banner run was actually alright, got two armor pieces that were lighter than what I had on so guess it's better than nothing.

"I'm really hating all these tiny corridors!" Aleeza heard her twin shout, hearing him groan as he then added, "Hurry up! I don't know how much longer I can keep the Ward up!"
"Just a bit longer!" Aleeza shouted back, ducking down to allow Pluto to fire into the foray of Eliksni and started to reload her pulse rifle, "And I thought you said you are able to keep your Ward of Dawn up indefinitely!"
"Only for so long!" Akiva grunted, "How many are there!?"
"Enough."
Seeing Pluto pull his weapon back, Aleeza then took it as a sign to move up and start firing her weapon again. This allowed the Exo to continue, "Every individual Fallen on this ship is now aware of our presence." She heard a click behind her, "If any nearby hear gunfire, they will come running." Ducking down to allow Pluto some firing range, Aleeza heard a single shot ring out before he finished, "Which means constant reinforcements."
Hearing his words, the last of Aleeza's patience finally snapped.
"Oh, for the love of – Cover me!"
Holstering her weapon, Aleeza stepped out of the safety of the Ward as she gathered void light into her palm. Weaving her way through Eliksni fire, Aleeza gaged her distance before thrusting her hand forward, expelling the Void energy from her hand. The sound of gunfire was quickly replaced with cries and squeals as the Nova Bomb impacted into the squad, dispersing them into wisps of violet.
Smacking her hands together as a sign of a job well done, Aleeza turned in time to see Akiva drop his ward, her twin letting out a groan as he said, "My mentor was right when he said that keeping up a Ward up indefinitely is tough as fuck."
"You seemed to have it under control." Aleeza chirped, grinning as Akiva turned and gave her a blank stare.
"Easy for you to say," Her twin retorted as he held up his hands, "Imagine constantly sending out bursts of light and then condensing it to ensure that it remains physical long enough to act as a shield." Akiva then dropped his arms, "I say more difficult than forming an energy in your hand and tossing it whenever you like."
At that, Aleeza couldn't help but let out a sound of offense, "How about 'you' try gathering light into your hands 'without' it blowing up and then compact it enough to actually make it 'lethal'."
"Come on you two, we can talk about which 'Super' is the best once we are done here." Aleeza turned in time to see Pluto wave at them to follow, "From what Oraxsis was directing, this should be the way to the prison cells."
"I said 'most likely'," Oraxsis muttered as he squeezed himself out of the hall, the Baron grunting as he glanced back, giving the narrow corridor a dark look before turning his attention back onto the Exo Hunter, "The schematics of a Ketch is quite difficult to memorize. A small team is required to usually navigate the ship."
"Wait, then are you telling us that you have been leading us around, blind?"
It was Akiva who asked the question, causing Oraxsis to respond with a shake of the head. Then he paused, his four eyes narrowing in thought, "Partially?"
Aleeza couldn't help but snort, "Partially?"
In turn, Oraxsis let out a huff and gave the three a blank look, "Like I have stated before, 'Guardian', schematics of a Ketch are difficult to memorize. Even the engineers of the ship have to carry blueprints to make their way around." Oraxsis then let out a small rumble, "Amongst the rebels, Axtris and I are the most informed of how a Ketch functions and even then, it is minimal."
There was a brief silence, Aleeza's thoughts taking the opportunity to make up scenarios of just 'how long' this mission is going to actually take.
"Well," Akiva broke the silence, approaching a door and turning his back to it as Nix materialized and glided past him to make his way to the console next to it, "Better to have a clue than – Ack!"
"Akiva!" Aleeza let out a shout as a large clawed hand suddenly reached out from the opened door, snatching the Titan by the head and dragging him into the next room.
Ignoring the cries of warning from Pluto, Aleeza dashed in, the safety of her twin's well-being in the forefront of her mind. However, the instant she stepped in, Aleeza came to a halt as her eyes locked onto a large Eliksni, one that even towered over Oraxsis, the latter of which glared at her as Akiva dangled from its grasp.
"Bastard! Coward! You think you can attack your enemies when their backs are turned!?" Akiva cursed at the large Eliksni, hitting their hand as if that was going to make it lose its grip, "You have no honor! No strength! Fucking weakling-"
Akiva's words were then cut short as the giant Eliksni quickly closed its grasp, a loud crunch echoing throughout the room. Aleeza screamed as her brother's body went limp, hearing the Eliksni letting out a low rumble, as if to laugh before casually tossing Akiva's corpse across the room.
That is when Aleeza charged, shouting, screaming as she switched out her pulse rifle for her shotgun. Seeing the Eliksni swing one of their hands at her, she then slid down onto her knees, feeling air of their hands brush past the top of her helmet, and then leaped forward. Quickly closing the distance, Aleeza then pressed the barrel of her shotgun against the Eliksni's chest and pulled the trigger. The familiar loud bang of the shot reverberated in her ears followed by the shout of surprise before she pressed her feet against their chest and pushed, allowing herself to leap and land a safe distance away.
"Bastard!" Aleeza screamed as the Eliksni stumbled over their feet, their shields shimmering back to life around it. Snarling at that, Aleeza took a step forward to charge in once more, only to feel a hand clasp down onto her shoulder.
"Stay out of my way!" Aleeza snapped as she turned towards Pluto, "Akiva-"
"Will be resurrected," Pluto finished, the Exo Hunter tilting his head towards the corner of the room. Feeling her rage ease, Aleeza then followed his gaze and relief immediately flooded her senses as she spotted Lex's white and yellow form hovering just above her brother's body.
"Unlike the Moon or the labyrinth's in the Cosmodrome, Darkness is not prominent here." Pluto explained, the Hunter taking a step-in front of her, "He will be resurrected, Lex just needs time."
Taking in the Hunter's words, Aleeza allowed the relief to settle however, this didn't stop her from twisting her shoulder out from Pluto's grip and growling, "That won't stop me from blowing that bastard's guts out." Cocking her shotgun, Aleeza heard Pluto let out a snort as she turned to face the giant Eliksni. She then paused, trailing her eyes upwards until she locked onto the Eliksni's four, "Although, I have to admit, it is pretty large for a normal Fallen." Aleeza squinted, "Even for a Baron."
"That is because 'he' is the Kell."
Jumping as a snarl permeated from Oraxsis as the Baron entered, Aleeza saw the look of rage flashing through his eyes as he added, "And of all they had to elect, it has to be this coward."
"You know this Fallen?" Aleeza asked, aiming her Shotgun at the Kell as she inched her way forward; she paused when the larger Eliksni snarled.
"He is the one who sent my mate to her death." Oraxsis took a step forward, his posture aggressive, "All so he could give himself time to escape."
That is when a rumbling laughter permeated throughout the room, causing Aleeza to snap her attention back towards the Kell in time to see his posture go lax, amusement clear in his eyes, "Oraxsis, do not tell me you are still bitter over your mate's death?"
As if to answer the Kell's question, Oraxsis let out another snarl as Aleeza saw the fur around his neck 'bristle' and raising his shoulders high as if to make himself appear larger. Aleeza made a mental note to ask Angel on how to read Eliksni body posture.
Oraxsis' attempts to make himself seem more threatening only seemed to further amuse the Kell, the latter of which laughed once more, "Why aim your aggression towards me then, Oraxsis?" Aleeza then saw him nod his head towards her and Pluto, "Do you not realize that it was the Guardians who took her from you?"
"You were the one who ordered her and the rest of your troops to stay behind while you ran away!" Oraxsis roared, the luminescence in his eyes flaring angrily, "The Guardians may have been the ones to kill her, but 'you' were the cause of it!"
"Oh, so it is my fault then?" The Kell mocked, Aleeza actually watching the asshole place a hand onto his chest, feigning guilt, before a smug look crossed his face, "If you are so certain, Oraxsis, then come. Attack me. Let us see whose statement is true."
Hearing the Baron snarl, Aleeza took a step back while as Oraxsis took a step forward, the Warlock being a little wary on interfering in a fight between a cocky Kell and an Eliksni with a grudge. However, this was before the Kell let out a startled screech, Aleeza watching with wide eyes as the larger Eliksni reeled back. She then understood when she spotted Akiva's familiar black and brown clad form on the Kell's back, arms locked around his neck.
"We will attack alright! But who says that it was going to be a one on one fight!?" Her twin then let out a roar as he jammed his own shotgun against the Kell's head. However, before he could pull the trigger, the Kell suddenly leaped backwards, landing on his back and in turn, landing on top of the Titan.
Aleeza's anger flared up once more as she watched the Kell stand up and turn, raising a fist towards her twin.
"No you don't! Not again!"
Releasing a roar of her own, Aleeza then charged the Kell, once more ignoring Pluto's warnings. Dashing in, Aleeza closed in enough where she aimed her shotgun and fired, the pellets digging themselves into the Kell's side. This was enough to prompt the larger Eliksni to turn his attention towards her. And gave Aleeza opportune time to envelop herself in Void Light and body slam the Kell.
"You are not going to mess with my twin!" She yelled, clambering around the Kell to evade his arms before making her way to his back. If she heard Oraxsis let out a bellow as she made her way to the top, Aleeza made no acknowledgement. Anyone who harms her family will pay. Dearly.

"Is it just me or is it getting a little loud?" Olkar asked as he peered over a corner of another hall, waving one of his lower hands forward to signal that it was clear.
Ixrsis let out a low rumble in response, "Can you not feel it? The light seeping through the walls of the Ketch? The sound of gunfire through weapons that are not our own? No?"
Blinking at the Captain, it took Olkar halfway down the hall to realize what she meant, "Guardians?"
"Guardians." Ixrsis confirmed, the Dregs behind her chittering warily in response, "How and why they are here is unknown, but I prefer we leave before we figure that out, yes?"
"And before they find me here." The Ghost added in before turning her white optic at Olkar, "Do you mind?"
Seeing her bob towards the bags around his waist, Olkar nodded once, signaling the Ghost to swerve around to his back. It didn't take long for Olkar to feel the familiar shift of her burying herself into his bags and then, her settling in.
Waiting long enough to ensure the Ghost was safely tucked away, Olkar then nodded once before they finally made it to the other end of the hall and walked up to the door, pressing the buttons on the panel next to it. However, as the door slid open, Olkar came to a halt when his eyes landed upon a helmed face of a Guardian, their cloak billowing behind them as they too froze.
"Uh…"
The screeching of the Dregs behind him caused Olkar to twirl around, just in time to see the Dregs flawlessly jump across the walls and the four them easily tackling the Guardian to the floor. Listening to the Guardian curse in a tongue he does not understand, Olkar then saw a Dreg go flying, only to slam into his chest and causing him to flail backwards. In turn, he felt his back slam into Ixrsis, hearing the Captain grunt in response. Fortunately for him, Ixrsis held more mass and as such, it stopped his momentum but his surprise quickly switched to one of concern when he felt the Vandal slip off of his back. Turning around, he then let out a breath of relief when he spotted the Vandal's chest rise and fall. Unconscious but at least still alive.
Unable to help a growl form in the back of his throat, Olkar turned his attention back toward the door, only to pause once more when he saw another Guardian, this one adorned in heavy armor and screaming in the same tongue as the other as they started swinging their fists at the Dregs. Luckily, for the lower ranking Eliksni, they were agile enough to dodge their attacks.
"Stop!"
Startled at the unfamiliar snarl, Olkar snapped his eyes towards the fallen Guardian, the latter of which had pushed themselves back onto their feet, brushing themselves as they added, "Stop, please."
This was enough for the Dregs to come to a pause, their four eyes wide at the Guardian. Not that Olkar could blame them, it wasn't often that they encounter a wielder of the Light who can speak their language.
With this, Olkar took a step forward, "How do you know our tongue, bandit?"
The derogatory term earned Olkar a sharp stab in the side with an elbow by Ixrsis, but his question was enough for the Guardian to turn his way, the latter shifting nervously, "I… well…"
"Pure One?"
Startled at the familiarity in Ixrsis' tone, Olkar couldn't help but lean to the side as the Captain brushed past him. That is when the Guardian took in a sharp breath.
"Ixrsis?"
Glancing back and forth between Guardian and Eliksni, Olkar couldn't help but give the female Captain a bewildered gaze, "You know this Guardian, Ixrsis?"
A soft rumbled emitted from Ixrsis' throat as she nodded, "Of course, this is the Guardian that saved my life."
A pause. A blink.
"What?"
Ixrsis blinked back, "The Guardian? The Guardian that saved my life?" Olkar shook his head and he flinched at the look of disappointment he received, "The Hunter who hid me from the Dark Ones and treated my wounds?" She then pointed at the scar across her eyes, "Do you not remember, no?"
Bowing his head in shame, Olkar mumbled out, "I did not believe your stories."
He ducked even further when Ixrsis let out a rumble but nonetheless, when he looked up, she had merely shaken her head and focused her attention back onto the Guardian. This Pure One.
The latter was conversing with the other Guardian, the heavier clad one now ceasing their struggles against the Dregs and looked more shocked, especially so when they gestured towards the group of Eliksni and throwing their arms ups in exasperation. What she was saying, Olkar couldn't understand. He had originally seen no need to learn the tongues of those who lived in the Haven. When he gets the chance, he should try and convince Vellak to teach him.
A screech of surprise from one of the Dregs snapped Olkar out of his thoughts, only for him to let out a snarl as a third Guardian entered. This one, unlike the others, held themselves with experience, an uneasy calm as they turned and merely gave Olkar and the others a glance. They then turned their attention towards Pure One, the latter of which gestured towards Ixrsis before shifting towards the others as he sheepishly shrugged. This prompted the third of their group to sigh. It didn't take long for their attention to turn towards Olkar.
"Can you understand me?"
Olkar couldn't help but jump and take a step back, the Dregs scrambling behind him, all their bravado gone. That third Guardian just gave off too much of an intimidating vibe.
"Y-yes." Olkar managed to stutter out before regaining just enough composure to then ask, "How…?" He paused when the Guardian pointed at his helmet. Right, their Ghosts.
"Ixrsis." Pure One approached, immediately catching the female Captain's attention, "could you explain how you have, everyone?" He then gestured towards Olkar and the rest of the pack once more, "Just, just curious."
Olkar could only watch as Ixrsis chuckled in response, giving her a baffled look at just how at ease she was in the presence of three Light-Bearers. With guns.
"I will gladly explain." She then gestured towards the door that the three Guardians had just entered from, "If you let us out of this cramped hall and into that spacious room, yes?"
This prompted a nod from Pure One, the latter of which turned towards his team and said something quickly in their tongue. However, just as the other two nodded in acknowledgement of his words, a fourth presence entered and immediately, Olkar blinked.
"A-Axtris?" He stuttered out, earning himself a gasp and then a squeal from the female Vandal.
"Olkar!" She let out as she charged towards him, Olkar's surprise giving him little time to react and he soon found himself on the floor, smothered by his sister's embrace.

"Well, this took an interesting twist."
Turning and giving Carina a blank stare, Ianos couldn't help but roll his eyes as he senses the cheekiness emitting behind the Titan's visor. He won't give her the satisfaction of giving her a retort.
Nonetheless, Ianos couldn't help but mentally agree as he watched Angel help Ixrsis, Axtris, and apparently another of the latter's littermates, Olkar, hand out and filter Ether packs to the Dregs and Vandals. Turns out the room they are taking refuge in had crates filled with Ether and later, after much scrounging around, weapons. In other words, the best place to take a momentary reprieve and give first aid to those who need it.
"So, what are we going to do now that we have a group of, what, sixteen Fallen to evacuate now?" Ianos turned his attention back onto Carina, "Which, I have to add, six are even too weak to move on their own."
Instead of immediately responding, Ianos once again gave her another blank look before shifting his focus back onto Angel and the other Eliksni.
The few that were given Ether were already gaining strength from what Ianos can perceive. Fortunately, the Eliksni are a hardy race, it won't take them long to get back onto their feet.
"We are taking them with us." Ianos didn't have to glance back to sense Carina gawking at him, "As I have stated before, Angel was the one who dragged us into this mission." He then finally turned and narrowed his eyes at the Exo, "If he wants to bring back all the Eliksni he can save, then he can bring back all the Eliksni he wants."
"But how?" Carina asked, gesturing towards the group of Eliksni as she added, "We don't exactly have a ship to transport all of them, let alone 'us'."
Scowling at the her, Ianos then sighed before placing a hand onto the side of his helmet as he subtly shook his head, "We will figure something out."
He heard Carina grumble in response to his answer, however, her pout was short lived as Ianos then saw her posture immediately go straight, and she clapped her hands together. From the small amount of time he had known her, Ianos could tell that she has a plan. And he couldn't help but grow wary. Especially when her gazed locked onto his and she giggled. Ianos' stomach dropped.
Lowering his hand, he asked, "I am going to take a gander that you have a plan?" When Carina nodded, Ianos then sighed, "What is it?"
"Well, we're already on a ship."
Ianos could already tell where this was going. He gave her an unimpressed look, "Do not tell me your plan is to take over this Ketch."
Even with her helmet on, Ianos could sense the broad smile behind Carina's helmet.
"Let's take over this Ketch!"
Unable to suppress his groan, Ianos parted his lips to refute her plan. Only to find himself unable to find words and that she had indeed made good points during their conversation. They have no ships, and instead of saving one like they have intended, they have a large group. Commandeering the ship that they are currently raiding seems like a good idea. Except for one problem.
"And how do you propose we do that?"
As he expected, Carina paused, her previous excitement gone, "I, I didn't think that far."
Ianos rolled his eyes once more, "Let me guess? Storm the Ketch until the cockpit is found, and commandeer it by force?"
"Actually! That's not a bad idea!"
Ianos gave Carina an exasperated look, "Carina, no."
In response, she gave him a glare "Well, what else do you expect us to do, oh 'wise one'?" Ianos gave Carina a glare of his own as she continued, "We can't exactly go up to a Fallen and ask, 'Hey! Do you know where the room to pilot this ship is at?'"
That is when Ianos really questioned Carina's IQ, as he gave her one last, final bland look before nodding his head towards the group of Eliksni nearby. She was quiet for just a short while before Ianos heard her let out a quiet, 'oh'.
Rolling his eyes once again as Carina rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly, Ianos took it as a sign to approach the Eliksni, hearing Ace turn on the auditory functions with a quiet 'click', "Do any of you know the way to the cockpit?"
Feeling curious eyes turn towards him, Ianos then added, "Our original plan was to rescue your leader, Ixrsis, however we had not planned accordingly for the rest of you." He momentarily paused at the quiet chitters, letting them take in his words before continuing, "Currently, the best course of action we had decided is to take over the Ketch, and fly it back towards the Tower." Hearing more worried chittering from the Eliksni, Ianos then decided to add, "We will contact the Tower to ensure a safe landing. And a haven for all of you."
This seemed to make the Eliksni mutter amongst themselves even further, Ixrsis gesturing erratically before finally, it was Axtris who spoke, "I will lead the way."
Nodding his head in understanding, Ianos then said, "Our plan right now is to simply force our way through. Once we reach the cockpit – "
"Hey! Anyone there!?"
Jumping as Akiva's voice resounded through his helmet, Ianos held up a hand to signal a pause before turning around, "Akiva? This is Ianos. What is-"
Ianos then jumped once more as he heard the sound of gunfire in the background, which was quickly followed by Akiva cursing and then more shots fired.
"… You and the others found the Kell, didn't you?"
"Quick as always!" Ianos let out a sigh as Akiva laughed, "We were hoping that we were wrong about the Kell being on the Ketch!" He then heard the Titan let out a grunt and another curse followed by the familiar sound of a shotgun being fired, "But you know our luck!"
"Do you need backup?" Ianos asked, "We already found Angel's comrade and we were planning to commandeer the Ketch-"
"What!? Why!?"
"More Rebels." Ianos answered, "One of us will stay behind. Two of us will come to aid you."
"Sounds like a plan! And come quick! This bastard called for backup! And a lot of it!" Another shotgun round rang in the background, "Hey motherfucker! Let's dance!" The Titan then let out a war cry before the frequency was promptly cut.
Shaking his head at Akiva's antics, Ianos then looked up, spotting Carina and Angel giving him curious looks, "Change of plans. Angel." The Hunter perked up at the mention of his name, "You are with me. Carina, you go on ahead with the Eliksni and take control of the Ketch."
"What about us?"
Ianos turned towards Axtris, "All of you follow Carina. Those who are able bodied help her take over the Ketch. Those who are able to walk, help those who can't. We need all the help we can get."
"I am coming with you."
Unable to help a scowl, Ianos turned towards Olkar, the Vandal taking a step forward, "We 'appreciate' the extra hand however –"
"I want to see for myself the work of this 'Pure One'." Ianos paused at Olkar's words as the latter fixed his attention towards Angel; he heard the Hunter in question take in a sharp breath, "I want to see if he is truly trustworthy."
His frown deepening at the Vandal's words, Ianos glanced over his shoulder at Angel, easily sensing the hesitation and bewilderment. Letting out a breath, Ianos turned his focus back onto the Eliksni, "Alright, but try and not to lag behind."
This earned him a growl from Olkar, "Only if you do not do the same to me, 'Guardians'."
Nodding once to signify that he understands, Ianos then turned towards Carina, gesturing towards the door, and finally, turned to Angel and waved for the Hunter to follow. Then, he dashed out of the room.

Akiva let out a shout as he went airborne, mentally cursing himself for being unable to dodge one of the Kell's swings. Skidding across the floor, Akiva leaped back onto his feet and then swung a fist into the face of a Dreg, his Void light easily turning the smaller Eliksni into violet wisps. Turning around, Akiva then fired his shotgun into an approaching Vandal, the latter letting out a squeal of pain before he kicked it away.
"Ianos and one of the others is coming to back us up!" He shouted, ducking a swing from another Vandal's blades, kicking it away as he added, "The third member of their team is going to find the cockpit of the Ketch and take control!"
"Say what?!" Aleeza screeched, Akiva watching his twin leap up and fired her own shotgun into the face of a Captain, leaping over its shoulders before kicking its back, "Are they crazy!? Why would they want to take control of a Fallen ship!"
"Crazy! But efficient plan!" It was Pluto, the Hunter having back into a corner, his sniper in one hand while his knife is in the other. He quickly stabbed the neck of a Vandal who had wandered too close, "Take control of the Ketch and we have a way back to the City! And if we make it back to the Tower we can easily gain the help we need!"
"And if we fail to commandeer this Ketch!?"
"Well! We gave it our best!"
"That is not very comforting, Pluto!"
Laughing at his sister's words, Akiva's senses then went alert when he spotted Pluto sheath his weapon.
"Tethering!"
Seeing the familiar form of a bow taking shape in Pluto's hands, Akiva then holstered his shotgun, reaching for the heavy gun secured on his back. It didn't take long for Pluto to fire his Void Anchor, the arrow screeching through the room before slamming into its unfortunate target – a Captain.
The larger Eliksni let out a yelp as the Void arrow slammed into their chest, only for its cries to be quickly silenced as tendrils of Void light suddenly exploded. Shout of alarm were short as the tendrils lashed out, latching onto the nearest Eliksni and seemingly pulling them in, coating them in the same Void energy as their target.
That is when Akiva hefted his rocket launcher onto his shoulders, "Fire in the hole!"
A startled yelp can be heard from Aleeza as the female Warlock leaped away, just as Akiva pulled the trigger. The whistle of the missile echoed through the air before it exploded into the mass of Eliksni, Akiva flailing as he felt the ship tremble beneath him.
"Akiva!" He turned to spot his twin gawking through the smoke, "Be careful with that thing! You might as well take the ship out of the sky!"
"Sorry!" Slipping his rocket launcher onto his back, Akiva then shouted back, "Habit!"
It was then a roar echoed throughout the room, "Habit!?"
Turning around, Akiva then leaped to the side when a Dreg careened past him, their screeching coming to a halt as they slammed into the opposing wall. Blinking, Akiva glanced over, only to laugh as he spotted Oraxsis, the Baron easily picking up and tossing the smaller Eliksni around. That is when Oraxsis shifted and glowered at him, "Do not get us killed, Guardian!"
Responding with another laugh, Akiva simply waved a hand before charging through the smaller Eliksni, ignoring their screeches of surprised as he ran towards his target: the Kell.
Ducking down to dodge the larger Eliksni's swings, Akiva then leaped forward, brought his head back and swung it downwards. A sickening 'crack' resounded in his ears followed by his vision going black, Akiva found himself crumbling back ono the floor, seeing stars. Barely comprehending the cursing emitting from the Kell, Akiva jumped as he felt a hand settle onto his shoulder.
"What in the light was that?" It was Aleeza, Akiva sensing the gawking look behind her visor.
Shaking his head, Akiva took in a breath before answering, "Saint-14 must have had a fucking hard head to kill a Kell with a head butt."
There was a moment of stunned silence. A stifled snicker then can be heard from Aleeza.
"You forget that Saint-14 has that decoration on his helmet." Pluto's voice murmured through the coms, "It turned into a good stabbing weapon."
Akiva groaned as his head pounded, "And more than likely protected him from a concussion too."
Hearing his twin cackle now at his misfortune, Akiva then stumbled back onto his feet, reeling his arms in an attempt to regain balance. With his head aching, Akiva couldn't help but wince when a roar echoed throughout the room, prompted the Titan to turn and lay his eyes upon Oraxsis, the latter of which had kicked away the last of the attacking Eliksni and once, took upon a threatening posture.
"I, Oraxsis, challenge you, Moraks, for the title of Kell!"
Akiva blinked as Lex sputtered in his helmet, "… Wait, he can do that?"
A laugh then can be heard from the Kell, "Are you a fool, Oraxsis!" He then raised his arms, gesturing towards the Eliksni in the room, "You cannot defeat me, not when I have an army!"
"Who says having an army automatically ensures you victory!?"
That is when the familiar trigger of a sniper resounded throughout the room and Akiva saw the Kell's head snap back, the rippling of his shields indicating a hit. Although judging from the gasp and the shocked expression on his face, it was telling enough that it still hurt.
"Angel! Ianos!" Aleeza's voice rang out, prompting Akiva to turn towards the entrance of the room, only for his eyes to fall upon a Vandal trailing behind them, "… Who's that?"
"Introductions later." Ianos butted in, raising a hand. This signaled Angel to take a step forward and take aim once more, although this time, the Kell ducked, causing the Hunter to miss his shot. A glower can be sensed behind Ianos' visor, "Angel says in order for Oraxsis to be Kell, he has to be the one to take him down." A fusion rifle then settled into the Awoken's arms, "Keep his shields down to help give him an opening." Ianos then turned towards Angel, "Angel and I will try to put pressure on the Kell. The rest of you keep the extras off us."
Nodding in understanding at Ianos' words, Akiva then jumped when the Vandal next to Angel suddenly drew out their daggers, and leaped over them, practically gliding past. Judging from the way they were easily weaving past the other Eliksni and making their way towards the Kell, it didn't take long to understand his intentions.
That is when Akiva heard Ianos sigh at this, "Angel."
"I will grab him."
The Awoken subtly shaking his head at the younger Hunter's words, Akiva took the opportunity to turn and fire into the mass of Eliksni, starting a path as Angel and Ianos followed behind.

Easily weaving his way through enemy Eliksni, Olkar's eyes narrowed as he fixated on the Baron towering above the others. Watching his sire easily dodge and weave between the Kell's strikes, a snarl of frustration can be heard from the Baron as he tried to counter, but the Kell would lean back and laugh, taunting. That is when Olkar growled, fiery building up in his chest.
Despite his size, Olkar easily recognized the Kell; he had heard of the coward from both his sire and Vellak, the latter a witness to their mother's death. And he wants nothing more than to kill him for abandoning her.
With a battle cry, Olkar leaped into the air and stabbed his shock blades into the shoulders of the Kell, easily getting in between the cracks of his armor. Receiving a sharp cry, Olkar then used his lower arms to leverage himself before using his upper arms to pull his shock rifle from his back and aimed it at the back of the Kell's head. When the Kell glanced over, Olkar growled, "This is for Trikxas, coward."
Then he pulled the trigger.
The arc reactor inside instantly fired an arcshot and started to burrow into the Kell's carapace, the latter of which stumbled forward from the hit. Seeing this, Olkar aimed for another shot, however, he felt hands grab his shoulders and the next thing he knew, he was airborne. Bracing himself, Olkar couldn't help but go rigid as he felt himself land into someone's arms.
"Olkar?"
Recognizing the voice, Olkar forced himself to relax as he lifted his eyes, locking onto ones that he recalls seeing since his birth. He hesitated, "Father…"
The title felt strange, after years of calling him 'Baron' or 'Sir'. And judging from the way his sire's four eyes grew wide, he wasn't the only one.
"Oh look, one of your spawn. How touching."
Seeing his sire raise his eyes and snarl, Olkar took the opportunity to clamber out of Oraxsis' arms and follow his line of sight. In turn, he saw the Kell continue to laugh.
"It is a shame that he will watch you die."
That is when the Kell suddenly held up two blades and charged.
Reeling that the larger Eliksni was already almost upon them, Olkar then felt large hands grab him by the shoulders and once again, he found himself airborne. This time, he tumbled across the floor, feeling his body slip underneath any unfortunate Eliksni in his way, and heard their shrieks of surprise being cut short. Twisting his body so that he managed to fumble his way back onto his feet, Olkar tugged his cape out of his face as he turned his attention back to the Kell. And then promptly screamed.
Before him, Oraxsis stood impaled by the Kell's blades, body shuddering as he feebly gripped at the larger Eliksni's wrist, as if in a vain attempt to push him away. The Kell simply laughed at this, and Olkar couldn't suppress a cry of rage and grief as the former easily twisted and tugged, easily tearing his weapons out of Oraxsis' chest. That is when the Baron let out a wheeze, a shuddering gasp before he collapsed onto the floor, his vermillion blood already forming a pool around him.
"One down." The Kell mocked, Olkar seeing him turn and fixate his eyes upon his.
Nonetheless, Olkar couldn't find himself looking away at the writhing form of the Baron, his shoulders trembling as he shouted, "Father!"
In case it wasn't very clear on what their classes were:
Ianos - Voidwalker
Angel - Blade Dancer
Carina - Striker
Pluto - Nightstalker
Akiva - Defender
Aleeza - Voidwalker
...Lots of void light in this team lol. Anyway, I do make it possible to master more than one light but the sub-class you see up here is the ones that the character's mainly use. I just suck at remembering that Destiny is more than just gunfire and always forget to incorporate Guardian abilities into the story. Anyway, enjoy!
