Chp. 26: Arrival Pt. 2
Kigali, Rwanda
Kigali International Airport
At the Kigali International Airport, Weiss, Britney, Hera, Jaune, Pyrrha, Velvet, Coco, Kendra, Scarlet, Nolan, Roy, Ricky, Staff Sergeant Henry 'Steel' Simon, Doctor Oobleck, and Zwei were all exiting with their luggage from the airport's dropoff.
"Alright students. Once we get to our hotel and settle, we will receive instructions on what we will be doing here for the remainder of our stay," Steel said.
Zwei barked in response.
"And why did we bring Ruby and Yang's dog with us?" Velvet asked.
"Zwei wanted to come with us," Weiss answered before looking down at the corgi. "Don't you, Zwei?"
The corgi merely barked in response.
"And canines are historically known for their perceptive nose and heightened sense of sound, making them excellent companions for a hunt such as ours!" Oobleck said as Zwei happily barked in response.
"Not to mention the dog is adorable," Coco said, leaning down to pet Zwei.
"No argument there," Kendra said.
A bus then drove up and parked right in front of the group.
"I'm guessing that's our bus," Scarlet said.
"Come, students. Let us continue on," Oobleck said.
Everyone takes their bags and boards onto the bus.
Hôtel des Mille Collines
After some time has passed, the bus stops in front of the Hôtel des Mille Collines, where they'll be staying. They all stepped out of the bus and looked up at the hotel.
"Here we are, students. The Hôtel des Mille Collines. This place was known for housing over twelve hundred refugees during an event known as the Rwanda Genocide during the Rwanda Civil War in 1994," Oobleck explained.
"You mean the hotel with Paul Rusesabagina saving those Tutsi refugees?" Hera asked.
"It's the very same hotel, but Rusesabagina was no hero," Britney answered.
"What are you talking about? He saved and protected those refugees from the Hutu," Hera said.
"Did you get this information from watching the movie Rwanda Hotel? Hollywood has a tendency to exaggerate truth in historic events," Britney argued. "It was the UNAMIR troops and supporting troops from Congo-Brazzaville who stayed and saved those refugees, not the hotel manager Paul Rusesabagina."
"And how would you know that, you bitch?" Hera asked.
"Ms. Connor is actually correct, Ms. Kingsley," Oobleck cuts in. "Rusesbagina not only did nothing to save the refugees, but also informed genocidaires, the Hutu, about the quote-unquote 'cockroaches.' Every time he gave information out on the frightened families in the hotel, the UNAMIR troops would relocate them to a different room to keep them protected."
"And survivors would also claim that he made profits out of the refugees' plight, and charged them for making phone calls and selling food to the occupants," Britney added. "Next time, Hera, do some actual research."
Hera growled at Britney in response.
"He sounds like a dick," Roy said.
"He was," Ricky said.
"Come along, students. Time is of the essence," Oobleck said.
You'll all need your sleep for our mission here," Steel said.
Everyone walked inside the hotel and were about ready to settle themselves in.
Kuo Kuana, Menagerie
Main Street
Meanwhile all the way out in Menagerie, Blake, Yang, Sun, Ren, Watson, Ilia, Rebecca, Arslan, Brawnz, Cardin, Ivori, Emerald, and Sergeant Cassandra Rogers were all sitting in the back of a British Army MAN cargo truck. They had already just arrived from a British airbase in the middle of the deserts of Menagerie. The settlement of Kuo Kuana had a large building in the middle of construction as tourism in Menagerie had climbed up drastically. Everyone looks out from the back of the truck to look at their surroundings below a mostly cloudy sky.
"Everything in Kuo Kuana is changing," Blake said.
"It looks like it's trying to modernize itself to be just like the rest of the world," Kelly said.
"Big things are happening here," Brawnz said.
"Heavy changes will be happening in Menagerie, which is why we're all called here," Cassandra said.
The truck drives down the main street until it eventually stops in front of the Belladonna household. Everyone hops out of the truck, and looks over to the large home. At the front door, they all saw four people standing up front; First Lieutenant Junichi Saito, Commandant Lydia Beaulne, Wilfred Bennett, and Sergeant Alexey Belitrov. The students walked up the stairs and approached the four foreign Huntsmen and Huntress.
"We're glad you could all make it, kids. What you will be doing here for the rest of your stay here will be beneficial for Menagerie as a whole," Junichi spoke.
"What are we gonna be doing here exactly?" Emerald asked.
"In a few days, Menagerie will announce itself as an official independent country," Alexey answered.
"And we're all here to act as security and protection for the ceremony," Wilfred added.
"Security, huh? That's not too bad," Yang said.
"Security for these animals? Why would we offer protection for these freaks? Especially the kitty cat's parents?" Cardin asked as Blake growled at him in response.
"Winchester, I will cut out your tongue, brand a swastika on your forehead, and skewer you anus to mouth for all to see if you continue this racist crap," Alexey threatened. "If only I could send you into a gulag right now and have you corrected. This is the one time I wish the Soviet Union was around so that they can straighten your ass out."
"Calm down, Sergeant. And you, Winchester, if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. Keep that in mind, boy," Lydia said.
Cardin reluctantly chose to stay silent.
"I don't even know why he's here," Wilfred said.
"Neither do I," Cassandra said with a head shake.
"Anyway Blake, Yang, Sun, Rebecca, Ilia, Watson, Chieftain Belladonna are asking you all to meet him in his study," Junichi said.
"The rest of you follow us," Alexey said.
Everyone enters inside the large home and Blake, Yang, Sun, Ilia, Kelly, Rebecca, and Cassandra split off from the group. The group of seven soon entered inside the study and saw Ghira Belladonna sitting behind his desk and Sienna Khan in front of his desk. The panther and tiger faunus both turned to see the six students and Marine approaching.
"Hey, dad," Blake greeted.
"Blake," Ghira said as he stood up from his seat.
Both daughter and father walked up to each other to hug each other. Sienna clears her throat loudly, causing the two Belladonnas to break away from their hug and turn to the former leader of the White Fang.
"I hate to interrupt the family moment, but we have some things we need to go over with these kids here," Sienna said.
"Right. As you were all told, you are all hired as security for the events here in Menagerie. However you all have a specific role while you're here," Ghira said.
"How so, Mr. Belladonna?" Rebecca asked.
"Well, you're all going to be bodyguards. Blake, you and Mr. Wukong will be my bodyguards," Ghira answered.
"Ilia and Ms. Dawson will be my bodyguards," Sienna said.
"And Ms. Xiao Long, Mr. Watson, and Ms. Sustrai will be protecting my wife. But I must warn you, she is a little unwell right now," Ghira said.
"I see to that the rest will watch over the preparations for the events," Cassandra said.
"Unwell? Dad, what's wrong with mom?" Blake asked with a slight worried tone.
"It's... nothing serious. It's... well..."
Before Ghira could continue, the door opened and in came Kali Belladonna.
"I see our protection has arrived," she said before turning to her daughter. " Hello, Blake. I'm glad you could join us."
Rebecca looks at Kali very closely and then noticed Kali's belly was slightly bigger than normal. She widened her eyes in surprise and soon asked her one question.
"Mrs. Belladonna... are you pregnant?"
Everyone turned to Kali in shock, but none was more shocked than Blake.
"Why thank you for noticing, Rebecca. I am currently three months pregnant," Kali answered.
"M-mom! Are you serious?! Are you really serious?!" Blake asked.
"As serious as I can be," Kali answered with a smile.
"Congrats, Mrs. B," Sun said.
"Thank you, Sun," Kali replied.
"Can I ask why you are pregnant?" Yang asked.
"Well, Ghira is going to be out a lot when he'll be running Menagerie, it'll get lonely here. So I persuaded Ghira to do this. It wasn't that hard to do after I let him see me in a maid's outfit and a dancer's outfit. He definitely did not resist what RWBY fans called the 'Bellabooty'" Kali said as she waved her eyebrows up and down, while swaying her hips.
"Mom!" Blake exclaimed in embarrassment.
"Don't be like that, sweety. You inherited that from me after all," Kali said with a wink.
Yang, Sun, Ilia, Rebecca, and Watson looked at Blakes butt for a moment, then at Kali's, then back to Blake's before turning back to her parents.
"And I... needed an ice pack after some of those sessions," Ghira said.
"You too were pretty loud. I couldn't get any sleep on those nights," Sienna said.
"Don't pretend you don't love it. I saw you from the corner of my eye and saw that you were groping and fingering yourself," Kali said.
"My relationship with your husband is strictly professional," Sienna said with a slight blush.
"Keep telling yourself that," Kali said.
"Mom! Dad! My friends do not need to know about your sex lives!" Blake said.
"But some fans within the RWBY fandom would," Watson said.
"Don't push it!" Blake hissed.
"So Blake, what do you think of having a sibling in the future?" Ghira asked.
"I think I would like that," Blake answered.
"I knew you would," Kali said before hugging her daughter.
"Aw, yeah! Welcome to the big sister club, Blake!" Yang said in excitement.
Mountain Glenn, Vale
Suburban Home
Meanwhile at a home inside a bedroom, Keaton was laying down in his bed wearing nothing but a pair of red boxers and Winter was in the bathroom.
"I still don't get why they sent Jacob to Afghanistan," Keaton said.
"The Ace-Ops will be with the students and your brother throughout the whole stay there," Winter said.
"I know, but still they'll be exposed to the many terrors that could break many hardened soldiers," Keaton said.
"The same goes for the Operatives and those from the Atlas military that are drafted there," Winter said.
"Well, God be with them. They're gonna need his protection and guidance," Keaton said.
The door to the bathroom opens and out comes Winter wearing a white bathrobe.
"Let's try not to focus too much on that now," she said.
She walks over to the bed and gets onto it and sits herself on top of Keaton. Winter unties the belt on her robe and opens up her robe and lets it drop down, revealing her naked body.
"Let's just focus on the two of us," Winter said with a smirk.
Smirking back at Winter, Keaton grabs onto her and flips her over to the other side of the bed and gets on top of her. The two began to make out with each other and soon began their love session.
Author's Note's: I am please to announce that the first episode of RWBY Volume 9 will finally be out today. I speak for all RWBY fans out there when I say; It's about damn time! In other news on the 28th of Febuary, the first issue of DC/RWBY, an upcoming seven-issue comic series that's being published by DC Comics will be out on digtital release, and Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes and Huntsmen, Part One will be released on the 25th of April, just a few days after the last episode of RWBY Volume 9 will air.
Also the next two chapters will contain events involving the violence in Chicago.
