A/N: Thank you all for reading my latest Kamen Rider crossover creation!
OMAC001: And more you shall have!
Demon dark mezzo sangue: I thank you for being the first comment on my latest instalment. And I fully intend to do a crossover of Luz and Anne fighting side by side as Kamen Riders. 'Cause Matt and Dana aren't able to do it, then dammit I will! lol
Anne felt as if she was in a dream, she couldn't make heads or tails of what was happening, but she knew that she needed to fight, she needed to destroy her enemy. These things kept repeating in her head, she had to destroy, she had to fight, her enemy must be eliminated.
"Anne…!"
"Sprig…?"
Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy.
"Anne!"
Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy. Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy. Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy.
"Sprig is that you?"
Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy. Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy. Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy. Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy. Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy. Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy. Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy. Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy. Eliminate your enemy. Destroy your enemy.
"Ugh, will you shut up?! I can't hear Sprig!"
"ANNNNNNEEE!"
The repeating words stopped as Anne opened her eyes, when she did, she gasped. Her fist was just an inch away from Sprig's face, but it was longer than she remembered, and she was way taller too. "What…What's going on?" Anne took a step back and looked down at herself. She was in some kind of suit of armor, the teenager felt her head and found that it was in some kind of helmet. "W-W-What's happening?! Sprig, buddy, what just happened to me?! What did I do?! And why does my voice sound different?!"
Her voice did sound different, older, more mature than the cracking sound of her thirteen-year-old self. Anne looked around, remembering that there was a monster.
"Where's the monster?! What happened to it?!" Anne asked desperately.
Sprig pointed to a spot behind her.
Anne turned around and saw a crater with black soot covering the hole. "Did…Did I do that…?! I-I don't like this! I wanna go back, change me back! CHANGE ME BACK!"
As if obeying her command, the belt released a burst of light that wrapped around Anne. Her body returned to its original age and the armor had completely disappeared, along with the belt. When the light faded, Anne was on her hands and knees panting and shaking from fear and shock. The teenage girl hugged herself as she tried to understand what just happened, tried to remember, but it was only coming back in bits and pieces, as if she had blacked out and someone else was in control of her.
"Sprig…I-I'm sorry…I don't…I don't know what I did…" Anne whimpered.
Sprig got up from the ground and slowly walked towards his adopted big sister. He carefully wrapped his arms around her and gave her a hug to comfort her, that gesture was enough to make Anne bawl her eyes out, she was scared.
It took a couple of hours to get the fwagon and Bessie situated, fortunately the fwagon didn't sustain any damage and Bessie was unhurt, shaken, but unhurt. Once they were able to get everything back in its proper place inside the fwagon, Hop Pop decided that they should leave the area as quickly as possible. There were a lot of questions to be had, but right now the most important thing was to get away from this place in case there was another of those monsters around.
Two more hours passed by two hours spent in complete silence. It would be another hour before Hop Pop felt that they were far enough away and had them make camp in a grassy field, at least this way they would be able to see if anything was coming towards them from all sides.
Hop Pop made his way back inside of the fwagon and took stock of his grandkids' states. Sprig was still sitting next to Anne, her eyes were red from her crying, no doubt in shock from what happened to her. Sprig, although a bit shaken himself, seemed to have shoved aside the fact that Anne almost decked him with a punch that Hop Pop was sure would've taken the boy's head clean off. Polly, well, she seemed a bit cautious. The little polliwog was skeptical of Anne when she first arrived, unlike Sprig, and over the months she had grown attached to Anne, seeing her as the big sister that she never had, but now, she just saw that big sister figure turn into a monster and nearly hurt her big brother. Hop Pop was sure she was filled with conflicting emotions right now.
"Alright kids, I'll make us some dinner, no point in talkin' about anythin' on an empty stomach," said Hop Pop.
He didn't really wait for a reply, he just went to work. Thankfully the grass around them was lush and green, which was perfect for Bessie as she chowed down. Hop Pop built a fire pit outside and began making a stew for the kids, after about thirty minutes, the food was ready. Hop Pop called them outside to sit around the fire. He poured them a bowl full of the stew before they sat down on the ground around the fire. The family ate in content silence, just enjoying the warm meal and feeling grateful to be alive.
Hop Pop waited until they had eaten most of their food before starting to address the situation. With a long sigh, Hop Pop spoke, "Alright kids, I know what we went through earlier was a bit – okay, not a bit – it was scary. I know we're all feelin' a little out of sorts right now, so I think its best if we start talkin' about it calmly." The elderly frog looked to his adopted granddaughter. "Anne, how do you feel right now?"
"…Confused…and scared." Anne dragged her right hand down her face as she groaned miserably. "I'm sorry…I should've said something to you guys sooner…"
"What?" Hop Pop asked.
"Do you remember when we were at the Ruins of Disaster?" Anne asked.
"Yes."
Anne began to tell the Plantars of what happened after she fell into that hole in the ground. The computer room, the ghost, and her nightly episodes.
"You're telling us this lightning stuff has been happening every night since then, and you haven't told us?!" Polly asked.
"I'm sorry, I just…this place has all kinds of weird things going on, I don't know what happened to me! Am I possessed?! Infected?! I don't have a clue!" Anne stated.
Sprig scratched the top of his head for a moment and then asked, "Well, do you feel that pain anymore?"
Anne looked down at her stomach and said, "No, I don't. It's weird, I feel…stronger? Energized? It's hard to describe, it's like I've changed but I look the same."
"Okay, I have a question," said Polly. "Why did you attack Sprig?!"
Anne winced at the question.
"Polly!" Sprig scolded.
"What?! She almost took your head off, Bro!" Polly shot back.
"I'm sorry…I don't know why I almost did that. I can barely remember what happened, it's come to me in bits and pieces since then, but there are some things that stick to me," Anne explained.
"Like what?" Hop Pop asked.
"That thing, that monster, I think it's called a 'Fallen', at least that's what the ghost told me. The words eliminate and destroy were on repeat in my head, they just kept doing that over and over again. It was like I was on autopilot," Anne looked to the frog family and realized they might not know what that meant, "what I mean is, it felt like I wasn't in control of myself, like this power was just using me to fight."
Hop Pop regarded what Anne said, if he understood right, Anne had no control over herself during the battle. If that was the case, she was acting on possibly survival instinct, attacking whatever she perceived as an enemy. After she destroyed that "Fallen" she was in a standby state until Sprig approached her, which in that state, was taken as hostile action. Like a predator who just got through with fighting another predator and was on high alert.
"Okay, I think I get it," said Hop Pop.
"On that note, Anne, you looked just like a Kamen Rider!" Sprig stated.
Anne raised an eyebrow at that. "Wait, what are you talking about?"
"You know, like that Atlas guy! I mean you're armor was completely different, but also similar in some regards," Sprig explained.
"Ugh, what is this 'common rider' you keep talking about?!" Polly asked in annoyance.
Anne decided it was easier to show than tell, she took out her phone and showed the same episode that she was watching with Sprig before the attack. She paused the video when Sprig said to stop, freezing it on the image of the protagonist in his armored form.
"Huh…now that you mention it, she did kinda look like that," said Hop Pop.
"You're serious?!" Anne asked.
"Completely, you were a superhero, Anne! I thought you said these guys were just made up, but you became one of them!"
As far as Anne knew, they were made up. Kamen Riders were just made-up heroes on TV, made to inspire kids and young adults. Sure, they tinkered with the idea of a multiverse, and even went meta with one movie about how the entire existence of Kamen Rider hinged on one kid viewing the first Heisei Era Rider, Kamen Rider Raiga. Now Anne was wondering if that was true or not? Could Kamen Riders exist for real? She was in a world of talking frogs, at this point, the multiverse theory was not out of line. Maybe there was a universe where Kamen Riders exist?
Marcy would get a kick out of this for sure, she'd be going on and on about theories of this and that and trying to draw a link between what happened to me and proving the existence of Riders.
However, that did not address the more serious problem. "I think it's best that I go to Newtopia on my own from here on out."
"WHAT?!" the Plantars exclaimed.
"I'm dangerous to you, if I transform again, I might end up hurting you! At least this way the only person who might get hurt is myself, and since I can turn into a Kamen Rider – apparently – I'll be safe," said Anne.
"Anne don't be ridiculous, you can't make a journey that long on your own without any supplies," said Hop Pop.
"Just give me some supplies and head back to the valley, we're not that far out, you guys can make it back in a day or so."
"Not happening!" Sprig stated. "We're not leaving you alone, especially after all of that!"
"The boy's right, Anne. You're family, and we stand by family through thick and thin!"
One member of the family remained silent through the exchange, prompting Anne to look at Polly as she crossed her arms.
"Polly?"
"I…I don't know…"
Anne was saddened by the response, but she couldn't blame her. The polliwog could be fearsome and fearless at times, but she was still just a baby, so it wasn't a surprise that she was having a hard time accepting this change in Anne.
"Alright, we'll just take this a step at a time," said Hop Pop.
Really, that's all they could do until they could figure out an answer to why Anne was able to do what she could do.
The next day the family of four made their way into a new region. It was a desert plains kind of place, with dry, cracked earth, canyons and cliffs, and occasional cactus. Anne, however, was too busy trying to figure out what happened to her and how to either keep it from happening again or control herself better to prevent herself from hurting the Plantars. There was a part of her that wanted to try and transform purpose, but she couldn't risk doing so until she knew she wouldn't be able to hurt them.
One of the things that came to her head as a possible method was something her old Muay Thai instructor told her about, a mantra. Anne took out a piece of paper and thought about what she could write down to reinforce her mind and prevent what happened to happen again. She had to keep it simple, and maybe have it rhyme a bit to stay in her head more easily. After jotting down several iterations, she finally came up with one that read, "The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy." Simple and it rhymes.
"What're you doing?" Polly cautiously asked as she rolled up to the discarded pieces of paper.
"I've been trying to come up with something that'll help me keep myself from hurting you guys, and I think I got it. Take a look," said Anne as she showed Polly the paper.
"Huh, 'The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy', I'm confused, how is this supposed to help you?"
"It's my mantra."
"Man what?"
"A mantra, it's an old concentration technique. Basically, you repeat a phrase or sound over and over again in your mind and out loud in order to help you concentrate on something. In this case, I decided to make this in case we come up against another of those things. I'm hoping that I keep repeating this enough times in my head that if I change again, the only thing that I'll hurt is the monsters and not you guys," Anne explained.
"Oh…that's great, I hope it works," said Polly.
"Same here…"
Things were still tense between her and Polly. Anne could tell Polly wanted things to be normal between them, but after seeing what Anne could do in her Rider form, she was a bit scared of her, especially when she told her that she had no control over it. She was basically a walking weapon. Sprig on the other hand seemed to revel in the idea that his adopted big sister was a superhero, especially since he just learned what a superhero was, and Anne became his hero now. It was flattering to be honest.
"Do you really think there are more of those things?" Polly asked.
"Honestly, I hope not, I don't want to fight more monsters. I'm still trying to picture what I look like based on what Sprig told me, but it's kind of hard to imagine," said Anne.
Suddenly, Anne went still, her eyes widened as she sensed something threatening approaching them.
Polly noticed the sudden change in Anne's demeanor and asked, "What's wrong, Anne?!"
"I…I don't know how to explain this…but I feel like something's coming, something bad," said Anne.
The teenage human hurriedly rushed her way up to the roof of the fwagon, startling Hop Pop and Sprig. She scanned the area, trying to find out what was making her feel this sense of danger.
"Anne, what's up?!" Sprig asked.
"I feel it, there's something out there," said Anne as she peered into the distance.
Hop Pop and Sprig began looking in every direction around them, but so far all they could see was just desert all around them.
"Anne, I don't see anything, are ya sure?" Hop Pop asked.
"I don't know why, but I feel it! I…I think it might be connected to my power, but I'm not a hundred percent sure," Anne explained.
"Wow, now you have monster detection powers, too?!"
"Focus, Sprig!"
Just then, Anne spotted something off to their right, some kind of dust trail. "What the heck is that?"
Hop Pop and Sprig looked in the same direction as Anne, the old frog then said, "A dust storm, maybe? Or another group of travelers?"
"If it's the latter, then they've gotta be moving really fast to make a dust trail that long," said Sprig.
That dust trail then began to veer towards them, making them all worry.
"You don't think…?" Sprig began.
"I don't want to stick around and find out!" Anne stated.
"Bessie, things are getting' messy!" Hop Pop called out.
Bessie chirped and took off down the road, the dust trail turned and began following alongside them, gradually getting closer and closer. Before they knew it, whatever was creating the dust trail started to circle them. The dust started to create a tornado wall, the bits of dust stung their eyes forcing Hop Pop, Sprig, and Anne to seek shelter inside the fwagon. Bessie quickly retreated into her shell as the dust storm raged around them.
"What's going on out there?!" Polly asked.
"Huddle together everyone!" Hop Pop ordered.
Sprig and Polly hugged each other, while Hop Pop brought them close. Anne, being the biggest of them, wrapped her arms around the Plantars and acted as a makeshift shield to protect them. The sandstorm continued to rage outside, making the family wonder if the fwagon was going to be tossed into the air at any moment. However, after a few more seconds, the sandstorm stopped. Anne, Sprig, Polly, and Hop Pop opened their eyes and waited, but nothing else happened.
"Anne…do ya still have that bad feelin' from before?" Hop Pop asked.
"Yeah…I do." Anne steeled herself and stood up, she reached into her skirt pocket and handed Sprig her cellphone. "I'm not sure what's out there, but if I do change again, I want you to record me. I want to see what happens."
Sprig took the phone and readied it to record.
"Stay inside the fwagon, guys, no matter what you see or hear!" Anne ordered.
She didn't wait for a response as she exited the fwagon and stepped outside. Anne walked around to the front, and just like she feared, it was yet another one of those monsters, a Fallen. This thing was different from the last one, the one before it looked like a fox, this one was more like a bird. It too sported the black armor with the thirteen eyes on the chest plate, this creature had a black beak, with yellow glowing eyes similar to that of the Fox Fallen. It had a crest of feathers on its head, skinny bird legs with razor sharp talon, and it arms were wrapped in armor plates, with the gauntlets having two three-foot-long curved blades.
Oookay, I might be screwed here…
"I don't know what your deal is but leave me and the Plantars alone! We haven't done anything to you!" Anne stated.
The Roadrunner Fallen raised its right arm and pointed at Anne with its blade. "Calamity of Heart…must be extinguished."
So, this thing is after me then…but what does it mean "Calamity of Heart"? Anne thought.
No sooner did she think that did the Roadrunner Fallen dash straight for her, somehow, Anne managed to jump away from the attack as the monster skidded to a halt on the other side. Anne felt her cheek sting a bit, when she went to touch the hurt area, she found some blood on her hand, she had been cut. However, the pain only lasted for a moment as the wound closed itself almost immediately as a brief electrical spark was released.
"Accelerated healing powers? That's a good thing, at least – WHOA!"
Anne rolled on the ground as the Roadrunner Fallen tried slashing her multiple times. As assuring as it was to know that she had an accelerated healing factor, Anne wasn't up to testing the limits of it.
"Why isn't she changing?!" Polly asked.
"I don't know! But it didn't happen right away when that Fallen first attacked us either," Sprig pointed out. "Hop Pop, I think we need to help her!"
"Sprig if either of us go out there, that thing will kill us! It's movin' too fast!"
"But we can't just let Anne do this on her own, she'll die!"
Hop Pop was at war with himself, he didn't want Anne to die either, but he knew that Sprig, Polly, and himself would assuredly die if they went outside right now. It was frustrating, leaving Anne to fight that monster by herself and not be able to do a thing to help her.
Anne could feel the power building again, the same power as before, but it wasn't painful, it was warm, as if inviting her to call upon it. But fear kept her from tapping into it, she was afraid of what might happen. If she transformed again, would she lose herself again? Would she be able to change back? This wasn't the same thing as the TV shows, this was happening to her. Anne yelped when she hit her side against rock, preventing her from rolling out of the way of the Roadrunner Fallen. The monster cornered Anne and readied to stab her through the heart, but just then a mace was thrown right at the Fallen.
The Fallen sensed the attack, turned around, and slashed the air, creating an air blade that sliced the weapon in two and sent both halves falling to the ground. Anne looked towards the fwagon and noticed Polly on the roof, panting from effort of throwing such a heavy weapon.
"LEAVE ANNE ALONE!" Polly shouted at the monster.
"Polly…" Anne whispered as a tear formed in her eye.
The human girl rose to her feet and decided that she needed to do this, she had to rely on this power if she wanted to survive. But more importantly, she needed this power to protect the Plantars. Anne closed her eyes as she concentrated on the warmth inside her, while also repeating her self made mantra.
The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy. The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy. The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy. The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy!
Anne's eyes opened, showing her irises were now bright blue. She made the same hand gestures as before, and summoned her Driver with an electrical whirr. After it appeared, she repeated the same hand gestures and said, "Henshin." Anne pressed down on both sides of the belt and activated the transformation.
The Roadrunner Fallen turned around and watched as Anne transformed into her Kamen Rider form, the monster switched its attention from the polliwog and back to its original target. Sprig immediately started recording as soon as he saw Anne make her hand signs.
Lightning surged through Anne's legs as she charged towards the Roadrunner Fallen, the speedy bird monster dashed away, prompting Anne to give chase. The monster was a bit faster than Anne was, she could only reach for its tail feathers. The hero of lightning skidded to a halt and stood there. The horned crest on the helmet started to glow as it emitted an unseen pulse wave into the air.
Far, far away, back in the Ruins of Disaster, one of the automated factories came online. The factory computer opened and revealed the sigil marking of Anne's Kamen Rider form, afterwards schematics started to appear on the screen that resembled some kind of vehicle.
The factory went to work and quickly assembled what it was programmed to make. The conveyer belt brought the parts forward as the various automated machines started to put the pieces together. The factory moved rapidly as the mechanical arms welded and inspected every inch of the vehicle in nanoseconds. When it was done, the machine looked like a motorcycle without the wheels. The front had a shield plate that was branded with the sigil of Anne's Rider form, a small onboard computer screen was in the center, and for some reason the machine had no tires.
That was remedied when two Tesla Coil-like devices rose from either side of the conveyer belt and started releasing electrical energy. All that energy was gathered to the empty wheel ports, coalescing that power, and creating construct wheels made of lightning.
Once this was done, the factory opened a door that shone with the light of the surface. The second the door was opened, the motorcycle revved up and peeled out of the factory. The bike's onboard computer, which had the name [Machine Stormer], homed in on the signal that was being given off by Anne's helmet, the bike pointed itself in that direction and drove straight for it. The scenery passed by like a blur as lightning trailed behind the motorcycle, along the way passing a robot frog that briefly looked at it before continuing on its way.
The bike crossed several miles in just a couple of minutes, weaving around every obstacle that came its way to get right to the one who called it.
Anne stood there as the Roadrunner Fallen encircled her, readying to kill her. However, it had to stop when it sensed something coming, unfortunately it didn't stop in time as the bike came in struck the Fallen in the side and sent it rolling on the ground before it righted itself.
The Rider looked at Machine Stormer and then mounted it without a second thought. She twisted the throttle, revving the engine. The tires took on a more bluish hue now that she was on it, showing that it was now connected to her. The Roadrunner Fallen took off again, but this time the Rider gave chase, and was keeping up. The Roadrunner Fallen raced up the side of a cliff before air jumping and landing back on the ground. The Rider saw this and repeated its movement, going up the side of the cliff and redirecting herself before releasing a bolt of lightning to propel her forward.
Machine Stormer hit the ground running as she and the Roadrunner Fallen were now neck and neck. The Fallen jumped up and began slashing the air, releasing several wind blades that rained down on her position. The Rider easily dodged the attacks, watching as the blades cut into the earth, leaving long and deep gashes, indicating that the damage of one of those attacks would be serious.
The Rider popped a wheelie and pressed a button on the throttle, making the front wheel of Machine Stormer release a lightning blast into the air. The Roadrunner Fallen readied to dodge, but before it could, the lightning spread out and transformed into a net. The monster found itself trapped in the net, and when Machine Stormer came down onto its front wheel, it brought the Fallen with it. The avian monster hit the ground hard, sending up a dust cloud into the air.
Machine Stormer stopped, allowing the Rider to dismount. Once she did, the bright blue lines on her armor began to shine. Her crest flared as electrical energy surged around her. The sigil formed beneath her feet as she readied herself to attack, once she saw the silhouette of the Roadrunner Fallen, the Rider jumped into the air, spun, and extended her right leg for a flying Rider Kick. She moved like a bolt of lightning, and struck the Fallen in the chest, as she backflipped away from it and the monster skidded backwards.
The Rider landed and slowly rose, repeating the same movements as when it defeated the Fox Fallen. A halo of black and purple energy formed over its head, and the moment that the Rider slashed the air with her right arm, the monster exploded.
"Whoa…now she has a vehicle?! COOL!" Sprig exclaimed.
Polly hopped off the roof and began making her way towards the transformed Anne, against the yelling of Hop Pop. Polly bounced all the way until she was about five feet away from the Rider. With an audible gulp, Polly said, "Hey, Anne, you alright? It's me, Polly."
The Rider turned its head towards Polly, making the polliwog tense up. The transformed human kept getting closer, all the while her mind kept repeating the same phrase from the first time she transformed.
Eliminate the enemy. Destroy the enemy.
The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy.
Eliminate the enemy. Destroy the enemy.
The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy.
Eliminate the enemy. Destro –
The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy. The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy. The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy. The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy. The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy.
The Rider was about a foot away, she then knelt before Polly and reached out with her right hand. Polly closed her eyes and prepared to accept whatever punishment that was going to befall her. But what she felt was not pain, but a gentle pat on the head. Polly opened her eyes and saw that the Rider was patting her head.
"The Plantars are my family, the monsters are my enemy."
Polly's eyes widened with glee. "Anne?!"
The Rider retracted her right hand and placed it against the side of her head. "P…Polly? Did it…?" Anne looked at herself. "Yeah, it happened again…Oh shoot?! Did I hurt you?! Please tell me I didn't hurt anyone?!"
"No, Anne, you didn't! Your mantra thing worked! You destroyed that monster and kept us safe!" Polly assured.
Anne released a sigh of relief, when she did, the transformation undid itself, returning her to her normal form. The Thai American looked to her right and saw the Machine Stormer. "Where the heck did this thing come from?"
"I don't know, but I like it!" Polly stated.
"Huh, some kind motorcycle? Well, if I'm a Kamen Rider, it only makes sense." Anne began to smile as she approached Machine Stormer. "Sweet, I got my own bike!"
Suddenly, Machine Stormer turned around, revved its engine, and drove away from them, leaving both girls in the dust.
Polly and Anne coughed.
"Uh, okay, rude." Anne remarked.
"Totally."
After getting everything settled, the Plantars sat down in the fwagon and watched the video that Sprig had shot of her battling the Roadrunner Fallen.
"Geez…now I know why you were so scared of me earlier Polly," said Anne.
"Yeah…but now looking at it from this video, it's not as scary, it's kind of cool really," said Polly.
"I know right?!" Sprig gushed. "Anne's regular hop flippin' hero!"
Anne still wasn't sure about calling herself a hero. "I still don't' think I should be called a hero."
"Well, the important thing is, you managed to control yerself, and protected Polly and the rest of us," said Hop Pop.
Anne nodded. "That wasn't so much me controlling myself, but I think the mantra helped. So long as I can keep that up, I should be able to keep from hurting you guys. But that bike…? Where did it even come from?"
"I think you might've called," said Sprig.
"What?"
"Here look." Sprig rewound the video and showed the moment that Anne, in her Rider form, paused in the middle of the battle. "I think this might've been when you called for it!"
"Guess I really am a Kamen Rider…I'd still like to know how this happened to me, and more importantly why?"
Hop Pop sighed and put on a serious expression. "Guess this means it's even more important that we all get to Newtopia. If there's anyone who might have the answers to what's happenin' to you, it's them."
Anne felt a newfound determination to get to Newtopia now, not just for the answers to get back home, but to also answer the questions of her transformation and powers.
"Hmm-mmm, but just as important, what's you're Kamen Rider name?!" Sprig asked.
"My name?"
"Her name? It's Anne," said Polly.
"No, like how the guy in that show was called Kamen Rider Atlas, Anne's a Kamen Rider, so she needs a name!"
The Thai American looked at the video of herself again, and as scary as it was to see herself fighting, it was also kind of cool, and exciting. She was feeling amped up.
"Huh…Maybe, 'Amp'?" Anne suggested.
"Why that?" Hop Pop asked.
"I remembered that back in science class, 'amp' is a unit of measurement for electricity, and well, I am in Amphibia…so it works on two levels," Anne facepalmed. "Never mind, it's dorky."
"I like it!" Sprig stated.
"Not sure about the measurement part, but I like second part," said Polly.
Hop Pop shrugged and nodded his head. "Heh, guess that's it then."
Anne paused the video of herself standing resolute against the Fallen and smiled a little. "Kamen Rider Amp…I think I like it, too."
