Chp. 45: American Summonce
Courtyard
January, 1, 2021
Today was the beginning of a new year. Teams RWBY, JNPR, GRMA, and CFDT were all walking through the courtyard Making plans on how to spend the last three days of their Winter Break.
"Next week we get back to our work," Weiss said.
"Yeah. Yippee," Yang sarcastically said as she twirled her finger in the air.
"It's bound to happen, Yang," Kendra said.
"Which is why we should make the best of the last few days," Ruby said.
"By the way, have you tried to get in contact with your mother, Yang? You know, to ask her about... well Summer?" Britney asked.
"No, the UHL won't allow me or Yang to see her. Me and Ruby want to know what happened to our mom!" Yang answered angrily as Blake put her hand on her shoulder.
"I guess they are trying to make sure Raven doesn't get out of her prison. She is the Spring Maiden after all," Rebecca said.
"We know, it's just so frustrating," Ruby said.
"Just try and be patient, Ruby. I'm sure you two will get your answers soon enough," Allen said.
"Students!" a voice called out to them.
Everyone turned their heads to see Professor Ozpin walking towards them.
"Students, I was just looking for you," Ozpin said.
"What is it, Professor?" asked.
"I came for Team GRMA and Team CFDT. I have a mission for you," Ozpin answered.
"Another Mission?" Britney asked.
"This one is from President Trump himself," Ozpin answered.
"The big man himself huh?" Robert asked.
"What's this mission about?" Rebecca asked.
"I don't know. He didn't say," Ozpin answered. "But I'm sure he'll tell you once you see him."
"So when do we leave?" Ruby asked.
"Ms. Rose, it's just Teams GRMA and CFDT going. Trump specifically asked for them," Ozpin replied.
"Awww... no fair!" Nora groaned.
"Maybe next time, Nora," Ren said.
"You eight will be leaving in a couple days, just enough time for you to pack what you need," Ozpin said.
"There goes our last few days off," Kelly groaned.
"Good luck with whatever you're tasked with," Ozpin said.
He turns around and walks away, leaving the four teams behind him. They all turned to face each other.
"Looks like you guys are gonna have to spent your last few days off without us," Ricky said.
"We've got some packing to do," Allen said.
"No way!" Jaune said.
"You're our friends. We'll help you guys get ready to go," Blake said.
"Are you sure? I mean, you don't have to spend your last three days off helping us," Rebecca said.
"It's no trouble, you guys. We're all in this together. One way or another," Ren said.
"Thanks. You guys are the best," Kelly said.
"We better get started then," Jacob said.
The four teams started to make their way to the dorm building to pack GRMA and CFDT's stuff for their mission.
Washington D.C., USA
White House
January 4, 2021
A few days laters, Teams GRMA and CFDT had arrived at the U.S. city were inside the White House, walking down the hall being escorted by a couple of secret service agents. They walk up to a door which leads to the oval office. One of the agents knocks on the door.
"Come in," a voice answered from behind the door.
The other agent opens the door and they all enter inside the oval office. Teams GRMA and CFDT looked across the room to see President Trump sitting behind his desk.
"Here are the teams you've asked for, Mr. President," the first agent spoke.
"Good. You two can leave us," the president spoke.
The two agents turned around and walked out of the room and closed the door behind them, leaving Teams GRMA and CFDT, and the president alone.
"Have a seat," Trump ordered.
The two teams then all sat on eight chairs set up in front of the president's desk. Everyone was quiet for a moment until President Trump broke the silence.
"I suppose you all know about Biden's victory in the elections?" he asked.
"Yes, we all found out right after Robyn Hill's electoral win for the seat on the council in Atlas," Jacob answered.
"I've heard about her victory. Despite some of her questionable desissions and actions like how she doesn't condemn the violence of her own supporters, she is a much better fit for Atlas than Colonel Sanders. Much better fit then him," Trump said. "Then again, the elections in Atlas within the show could have been an allegory to the 2016 Presidential elections made by Rooster Teeth."
"Colonel Sanders?" Kelly asked.
"He meant Jacques Schnee," Allen answered.
"Oh," Kelly replied.
"I don't believe that Biden had eighty million votes compared to my seventy-five million. We won this election in a landslide. It was not even close. I was told that if we were to get from sixty-three million votes to sixty-six million, then there's no chance of losing. We didn't get sixty-six million, we went up to seventy-five million votes, and they say we lost, we didn't lose. They'v used the pandemic as a way of defrauding the people in a proper election. And the weak Republicans, you've got a lot of great ones but you've also got a lot of weak ones, are turning a blind eye to it all," Trump said.
"You're not the only one to think that, Mr. President," Briteny said.
"Biden did say he put together a voter fraud team on national TV during his campaign. So there's that red flag," Allen said.
"And it doesn't help that the Democrats and the media are spreading fake claims stating that I collaborated with the Russians to rig the elections," Trump said.
"That is so like them to do that," Kendra said with an eye roll.
"Is there and evidence to all this voter fraud?" Ricky asked.
"Yes. There's video footage in Detroit of ballots being put in eight hours after the deadline. And the names within those ballots were all registered to be deceased way before the elections occured. The same thing can be said for Nevada, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and a few other states. There are thousands and thousands of phone calls to back this up stating that their dead friends, families, and loved ones had somehow voted. And mail in ballots can also be tampered with," Trump explained.
"So why are we here?" Robert asked.
"In a couple days, I'm going to orchestrate a rally, and we will march to the Capitol Building to peacefully and patriotically make all our voices heard. I think there may be a chance that some of the people may end up resorting to violance. That is why I called you here, I want you eight to act as security at the Capitol Building and make sure that it all stays respectful," Trump explained.
"Just us?" Ricky asked.
"There will be several riot police squads that will be in attendance, but I'll call in the National Guard to back up to accompany you all. I want the Capitol to stay intact," Trump said.
"That would be nice," Rebecca said.
"Is there anything else we should know about?" Jacob asked.
"Report to the Capitol Building with your passes at 6 AM, 6th of January for your instructions. I'll see you all until then," Trump said.
"Thank you, Mr. President," Jacob said.
All eight teens stood up from their seats and each of them shook hands with the president, and proceeded to walk out of the office with Robert closing the door behind them. They all start walking down the hall.
"Another security job, huh?" Rebecca asked.
"Yeah, but just all of us, and the others back at Beacon aren't involved," Allen said.
"I wish they could be here," Kelly said.
"We all do, but this is an American problem. It's not their problem," Jacob said.
Front Gate
Later outside of the White House, Teams GRMA and CFDT exit through the front gate as it closes behind them. As they were about to leave the area, they noticed a crowd gathered nearby.
"Should we check it out?" Ricky asked.
"Might as well," Britney answered.
They walked over to the crowd to see what was going on. Amongst the crowd were several news and press crews and at the center of the crowd was the United States' new president elect, Joe Biden, and next to him was his future vice president, Kamala Harris. The two of them were surrounded by a group of security personnel that were keeping the crowd away.
"Ah, it's just Biden," Robert said.
"I say we better get going before they see use," Kelly said.
Just as they were about to leave, Biden and Harris then noticed the two teams about to walk away.
"Hey, look over there! It's America's first Huntsman and Huntresses!" Harris called out.
The crowd of supporters turned around and saw Teams GRMA and CFDT, and some of them started to walk over to them.
"Too late. They've spotted us," Kendra said.
"Ah, crap," Allen muttered.
Biden's supporters then had the two teams surrounded and the press were all asking them questions as the teams were huddled together.
"Do you accept Biden's victory as the next president?"
"Do you think Trump is trying to rig the elections in his favor?"
"Are you here to oversee the rally Trump is organizing?"
The security pushed their way through the crowd towards Teams GRMA and CFDT. Biden and Harris walked up to the two teams within their escort to confront them.
"It's real good to finally meet the famous teams in America," Biden said.
Biden got in between Jacob and Britney and put his hands on their shoulders as the crowd cheered.
"We're gonna be here a while, aren't we?" Jacob thought.
Hilton Washington DC National Mall
Later at night in the Hilton Washington DC National Mall, Teams GRMA and CFDT were in their hotel room getting themselves ready for sleep. Britney walks out of the bathroom having just finished up her shower, wearing a pink bath robe with white polka dots all over it.
"Bathroom's vacent," Britney called out.
"Dibs!" Kelly called out as she races into the bathroom with a seat of pajamas and a towel in her arms, and closes the dorr behind her.
"It was incredibly exhausting trying to get through all the press," Jacob said.
"Especially with Biden and Harris being there," Allen added.
"I had to wash my hair twice and more thoroughly after Biden sniffed my hair," Britney said with a shiver.
"Again, that's Creepy Joe for ya," Robert said.
"In just a couple days, Trump's rally is gonna be taking place at the Capitol," Robert said.
"And something tells me that it's gonna be incredibly exhausting," Kendra said.
"With anything politically related, it's always exhausting," Rebecca said.
"Tell me about it," Ricky said.
Unknown Location
Meanwhile in another part of the city, a woman sits in a darkened living room alone. Soon after, a man walks in and approches the woman.
"Ma'am, the man you've asked for is here," the man said.
"Great. We'll make sure he's prepared when the rally commences," the woman said. "And with special aid from our cilents over seas, this will be a cake walk."
