Edited: June 2023.

Got rid of the idea that Time Omnians can only merge with Dying Fetuses. Now they can merge with any. Including healthy ones.

I also altered the Lore of how modified "Regeneration Energy" works.

Lily Evans:

Part 2.

The Time Omnian.

CHAPTER.

A few hours later, when it really looked like Lily Evans was living her last moments. The boys heard a scream.

Lily suddenly burst into yellow flames, and was screaming in pain. She sat up, just as the flames burst apart into flakes of embers, which soon dissipated.

She was panting... but sitting there... perfectly fine.

"Lily," Severus whispered, not trusting his eyes.

The Medi-Witch awed for a moment, then got to work, scanning the girl. Lily just groaned holding her head, she was completely fine now, save for a headache.

"I..." Lily tried, "I think... oh my head. I see too much."

"Indeed," Albus stepped over, a calculating glint in his eyes. He held out his hand, and a potion vial flew into it, from the back room cupboard. "Drink this. It will help resync your Senses, so as to not overwhelm your mind. It's designed for more traditional Time Lords, but your biology is similar enough, it shouldn't cause too many side Effects." and, in fact, the side effects it did cause, could only be useful to him.

He gave Madame Poppy a significant glance, although his eyes twinkled in a friendly manner. "If you concur, my dear Poppy."

The Medi-Witch glared at the potion. Being a Wizarding healer, she didn't like giving potions that could cause any side effects. But it wasn't too bad. And it be better then leaving the girl incoherent for a full day.

"I'd perfer to contact the girls parents, get their consent." Poppy tried.

"Her parents are muggles," Albus gave a heavy sigh. "As such, I am recorded as her magical guardian." as he was to most first generation Wizards. Only if they had another magical relative, in their not to distant family, up to a third cousin, was he not entrusted to look after the muggle borns.

He was supposed to meet with them regularly, and teach them things about the wizarding world the Hogwarts classes wouldn't cover... Although, given his other duties, he found it difficult to keep up with this.

So he trusted their heads of house to teach them, and only occasionally arranged meetings to see how they were progressing.

The board of governers didn't like this, despite being the ones to suggest the practice... then again, it was the previous members that suggested it. The current lords were their children... who did little more then complain.

Albus really was too old, despite having a good 100 years left in him... he had trouble relating to the younger generation. Given he had taught them, and still couldn't help but view them as children. Children he could understand, it was a gift of his, but after they grew up...

Madame Poppy sighed, aware of all this... but still unsure of the Headmaster's decision. Then Lily moaned in pain. The Medi-Witch knew she had to do something, to make the girl more comfortable. And not very many of her available potions, were safe for a Time Omnian to ingest... out of those, this was the only one that could help her situation.

Sighing, Poppy took the potion, trusting her old friend. Albus was, after all, a licensed healer himself... among other things. She might be better at it, then himself, but he was qualified to give suggestions of treatments... and he was her magical guardian, so he had the authority to allow risky treatments... and their really was nothing else they could do for her.

They couldn't even give her a dreamless sleep, so she could recover naturally, as they had none available for Time Omnians. They were far too rare.

Poppy hesitantly held out the vial to Lily.

"It's alright," The med witch insisted. "There are always a few Time Lord students in attendance. So I know which potions are ill-suited for you."

Lily gave an equally hesitant nod... but her head was killing her. Her new brain made it hard to think, so she decided to trust her healer, and down the potion...

Instantly she felt her mind and soul resync themselves... too a further degree then would have occurred naturally. After all, this Potion was intended for Time Lords, not Time Omnians.

She collapsed on the bed, and went stiff as a board, but it only lasted a few seconds. As her memories caught themselves up... memories she normally wouldn't awaken, until she was 42, even with her regenerating...

"Lily," Severus moved to get out of bed. Desperately wanting to go to her, but Madame Pomfrey cast a sticking charm at the boy. Forcing him to stay put.

"I know your overwhelmed by all that has happen, Mister Snape, but please try to remain calm." the healer insisted. "Your own body is still adjusting to the lycan venom."

Lily snapped out of bed, Madame Promfrey didn't even try to stop her, knowing how unstable a Time Lords body was after regenerating. Any spells cast at her, would have catastrophic effect on everyone and everything around her.

All the healer could do was protest, as Lily walked over to Severus. To appease the Medi-Witch, about needing to lay down. Lily undid Sev's sticking charm, and had him scoot over, so She could lay beside him. The Medi-Witch sighed, but dropped it, seeing that was the best she was going to get.

"Oh Sev..." Lily's eyes filled with tears, as she ran her fingers over the bandages on his arm... were he had been bitten.

Sev sat in stunned silence for a few minutes, coming to grips with the fact she was now perfectly fine, despite being literally mauled to death.

Once he was sure it was really her, he gently rest his hand against her's, where she was still touching the bite... while somehow causing his injury no pain.

Lily softly muttered, "I never intended this... and if I hadon't come, this never would have happened."

"You're alive," Sev whispered back, "That's all that matters." He gently cupped her face. Wanting to kiss her, but she already slapped him enough times for trying.

Lily's expression somehow turned even more grave. "I'm a Time Omnian, Sev," she explained. Then told another truth, that implied it had anything to do with her. "You remember what they taught us about them, last year."

Sev gave a hesitant nod. He did remember, vaguely. It had been a single day's lecture, in their "Care of Magical Creatures" Class. Last year they'd been studying the various magical beings.

That month they'd been studying the "Sub Human" species. Draconic Sorcerers and the like. Time Omnians had only a few paragraphs written about them.

They were believed to be an offshoot of Wizards. (Although Sev didn't know they actually came first).

Time Omnians took it a step further, by being an artificially created "Time Lord" subspecies.

"Time Omnians" had expanded the science of Regeneration Energy. To create a new race, that would maintain their personality, and facial structure, whenever they regenerate.

Whenever they become injured, Time Omnians' regeneration energy would repair them. Much like the healing factor of Trolls or Werewolves. Although it didn't even leave scars behind.

If they ever truly died, beyond even what their healing factor could fix, they could send their conciousness back in time. To merge with their passed self. If that wasn't possible, for whatever reason (such as they died, but they wanted to preserve the Timeline leading up to their death), they could send their mind and magic, their very soul, to a developing fetus... from any point in history.

She had merged with the young soul, absorbing traits from it, and even adding their magic and personality traits to herself.

As Snape understood it. Merging with a Fetus, caused their memories to "Cloud". They only had a vague impression of their past life. A life Sev could now assume Lily already told him about. That is, whenever they were discussing Lily's strange "Dreams that weren't Dreams", as she called them. Swearing they felt far more real, and far more vivid, then any dream could.

These dreams, along with her Time Omnian biology, would have reasserted themselves, naturally, when she turned 42. As that's when Wizards reach their physical prime.

Not even "dying young", which instinctively reactivated her regeneration energy, should have awaken her memories. Whatever the Headmaster gave her, to make the act of regenerating easier, must have also awoken her Time Omnian memories...

Sev looked at her, for several long silent minutes, re-assuring himself she wasn't dead.

"I'm sorry," Sev slowly pulled her into a tight hug. Tears beginning to fill his eyes, as he realized he could say what he thought he'd never get the chance to. "I thought... i shouldn't have said that. When you save me from James latest prank. I'm soooooo sorry."

Lily just smiled, hugging him back, "I think we're a bit passed that."

Snape choked on a sob, "I didn't think I'd ever get to say it."

"Shhhhhhh," Lily eased, far less angry now then she had been. "Sev, its alright. I forgive you. I will always forgive you... because I love you. After all, you're the little brother I always wanted."

Sev stiffened.

"I know you want me to see you as more," Lily sighed. Catching his reaction. "But it's only because I view you as a younger sibling, that I'm willing to forgive you. I can't see you any other way. After all, I'm half a billion years your senior."

Sev pulled back, gaping at her. After the shock of that statement hit him, he tried to delude himself that she was joking... but he saw no humor in her eyes... ancient eyes... on a teenage girl's face. Sev gulped, "I alway said you had an old soul."

Lily snickered wettly, before pulling him back into a hug.
