Chp. 47: Impeachment and Birth

A couple days had passed since the Capitol Riot. It was nighttime at the Hilton Washington DC National Mall, and Team GRMA and CFDT were in their hotel room. Jacob, Britney, Kendra, Robert, and Ricky gathered around a laptop sitting on a table, while the others seat aroud a TV watching the news. On the laptop's screen were four separate video feeds, one of Team RWBY, another of Team JNPR, a third of Team JAAR, and the fourth of Team OBSA.
"It was that bad, huh?" Oscar asked.
"You have no idea," Britney answered.
"And Trump is being blamed for inciting a riot and is gonna be put on trial," Kendra said.
"Or what the Democrats and a handful of Republicans would call it, an insurrection," Robert said.
"But didn't you guys tell us that, Trump told his supporters to be peaceful and to respect law enforcement?" Weiss asked.
"Yeah, but we don't understand what caused them to act so aggressive all of a sudden," Ricky said.
"Maybe that will be revealed during the trial," Azumi asked.
"Maybe," Kendra answered with a shrug.
"By the way Jacob, we heard you and Britney ran into your father in the Capitol," Jaune said.
"Yeah. He said somebody within the Capitol let him in, but didn't say who," Jacob said.
"What was the purpose in that?" Watson asked.
"Maybe to get to Jacob?" Mercury suggested.
"I feel like there's more to it than just getting to me," Jacob said.
"What makes you think that?" Ruby asked.
"Just a hunch," Jacob answered.
As Jacob, Britney, Kendra, Robert, and Ricky continued to chatting with the other teams back at Beacon, Allen, Rebecca, and Kelly were watching a talk show called Tucker Carlson Tonight. The screen showed the host in question who has brown well combed hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white collared dress shirt with thin blue vertical stripes and a black tie with white sideways stripes. He also wore a black dress coat with a folded white Handkerchief in his breast pocket, and matching pants and shoes.
"Asided from Democrats repeating the word 'insurrection' for what had happened at the Capitol, some of the Democrats had this to say about the eight American students from Beacon Academy when they tried to defend the Capitol," Carlson said.
The screen switched to a feed showing of Hilary Clinton speaking behind a podium.
"What happened on January 6th, was an attempted insurrection in the Capitol. And as for the armed white supremacist, Victor Gordon, who had broken into the Capitol, it was discovered that someone had led him inside the Capitol. Several of us are speculating that the to teams of from Beacon Academy hired by Trump, may have led him into the Capitol. Especially since one of them is the white supremacist's son," Clinton explained.
"WHAT?!" Everyone in the room and back at Beacon exclaimed in shock over hearing what the former United States Secretary had said.
As everyone was now paying attention to the TV, the screen switched to a feed of a woman with long black hair, tan-colored skin, and wide dark brown eyes. She wore a dark blue coat and a white dress underneath it, and black high heels.
"The fact that these Huntsmen and Huntresses-in-training lead a Neo-Nazi into the Capitol is down right treasonous. Me and several other Congressmen and women were in fear for our lives," the woman said.
"That bitch Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is just spitting out lies like she always does. And she wasn't even inside the Capitol Building when the riots occured," Rebecca said, shaking her head.
The screen switched once more showing Kamala Harris speaking in front of several news press.
"January 6th is a day where we the people will not forget. A day of insurrection. A day when eight teenagers tasked with protecting our great Capitol, brought a white supremacist inside it. This day may have to be worse then the Attack on Pearl Harbor," Harris said.
"That is total overall bullshit!" Kelly shouted.
"How is a day of rioting worse then the day when over two thousand lives were lost in an attack by the Japanese?!" Allen angrily asked.
"Over all, that's why Jacob's old man brought inside the Capitol. To make us all look bad," Robert said.
"Especially you, Jacob," Ricky said.
Allen, Rebeeca, and Kelly walked over to the others to join in the chat.
"So what are you guys gonna do?" Ruby asked.
"And when is the trial going to be?" Ilia asked.
"I guess we'll let Trump try to take care of clearing our names," Britney answered.
"And his trial is just a few more days away, but since we were involved in this mess, we have to write up reports of what we had seen and been through during the riot," Allen added.
"So until then, we're all stuck here in Washington," Rebecca said.
"Lucky you. You guys basically get time off from school basically," Jacket said.
"Professor Ozpin is sending us a lot of classwork, so it's not really time off," Kelly said.
"Well damn. That sucks," Jacket said.
"This whole thing sucks," Ricky said.
"I really hope this doesn't take too long," Britney said.
"Either way, it's gonna be a pain in the ass," Robert said.

A little over a month has passed since the January 6th Capitol Riot. Today was now the final day of Former President Donald Trump's impeachment trial. Teams GRMA and CFDT all sat on the beds, watching the impeachment trial.
"I didn't think it would take this long for the trial to commence," Kelly said.
"Well there was Biden's inauguration and the preparations for it," Ricky said.
"Right after his inauguration, he has shut down the Keystone pipeline, killed thousands of jobs, letting thousands of illegal immagrants into US borders and is trying enforce mandatory vaccinations on the people of the United States," Kendra said.
"Even Canada was pretty pissed about the pipeline getting shut down. We're all dependent on that oil," Allen said.
"It's not even a full month and already Biden is fucking everything over," Rebecca said.
"Well today is supposed to be the last day of the trial," Britney said.
A knock on the door was heard, catching everyone's attention. Rebecca stood up from her bed and walked over to the door. She opens it and out in the hallway was Teams RWBY, JNPR, OBSA, and JAAR, and Rin, Ronin, and Liberty.
"Guys. What are you all doing here?" Rebecca asked.
"We all heard that you guys were watching Trump's second impeachment trial," Ronin said.
"Have they made a verdict yet?" Oscar asked.
"No, but they're about ready to make the verdict," Rebecca answered.
"There you are! I was looking all over for you three!" an angry voice called out.
Everyone turned to see Hera stomping over to the Ferrer twins and Liberty.
"What are you three doing over here?!" Hera asked her teammates.
"We've heard that GRMA and CFDT were watching Trump's impeachment trial, so we all came to watch with them," Liberty answered.
"Really? Then I guess I'll stay, just to watch congress announce that Trump is guilty," Hera said with a smirk.
"Great," Rebecca muttered as she rolled her eyes.
Rebecca steps to the side as she lets Teams RWBY, JNPR, OBSA, JAAR, and HRRB walk inside the Team CFDT's dorm room. They all sat on the floor and watched the TV, showing the judge making his verdict.
"The Yays are 57, the Nays are 43. Two-thirds of the Senators present not having voted not guilty. The Senate judges that the respondent Donald John Trump, former president of the United States, is not guilty as charged in the article of impeachment. Resigning officer directs judgment to be entered in accordance with the judgment of the Senate as follows. The Senate having tried Donald John Trump, former president of the United States, upon one article of impeachment exhibited against him by the House of Representatives... and two-thirds of the senators present not having found him guilty of the charge contained they're in. It is therefore ordered and a judge that the said Donald John Trump be and hereby acquitted of the charge in said article."
The Americans in the room cheered as the others looked relieved, while Hera screamed in rage that Trump had been acquitted.
"So Trump goes free?" Ruby asked.
"Yep, he's free to go," Allen answered.
"Also the trial showed just how corrupt the government truly is," Kendra added.
"Something needs to be done about it," Rin said.
"Burn it down!" Jacket exclaimed.
"No, we are not doing that!" Jesse said.
"Killjoy," Jacket muttered.
"Why are you all happy that the fucking fascist is acquitted?! He should be locked up God dammit!" Hera yelled.
"Oh fuck off, cunt! Go cry in fucking the corner if you're gonna bitch about it!" Britney yelled.
A knock at the door was heard, catching everyone's attention. Kendra stood up from her bed and walked over to the door. She opens the door to reveal Keaton Gordon now wearing a different attire. He was wearing a white button dress shirt and red tie, and a dark blue trench coat over it. He also wore a pair of dark blue pants and black boots.
Everyone turns to see Keaton as he walks into the dorm room.
"Keaton, what are you doing here?" Jacob asked.
"A few reasons. One of them was to check on you guys after what had occurred at the Capitol," Keaton answered.
"Yeah, we're all okay," Rebecca said.
"You especially, Jacob. I've heard that our dad was in the Capitol and you and Britney had fought him. Are you sure you two are alright?" Keaton asked.
"Yes. Me and Britney are fine. But I'm still wondering who let him in the Capitol," Jacob said.
"I'll try to look into this and see what has happened," Keaton said.
"How are things back at HQ?" Britney asked.
"You're speaking to the new official director of the United Hunters League," Keaton answered with a smirk.
"Wait! Wait! They made you the new director of the UHL?" Oscar asked.
"Surprising, but they elected me as the new director because of my experiences and special connections in the four kingdoms of Remnant," Keaton answered.
"Well, congratulations, Keaton," Jacob said.
"Thanks, but don't think I'll go easy on you now that I'm in charge," Keaton said.
"Noted," Jacob replied.
"Anyway, aside from Biden's election in office, we've got another situation going on," Keaton said.
"What is it?" Azumi asked
"Salem has made her move, and it's not good," Keaton said.
The new director of the UHL pulls out his phone and scrolls through it. A moment later, he turns it around and presents it to everyone in the room. The screen showed a news feed of Salem and Xi Jinping shaking hands
"In a surprising turn of events, Salem has made some sort of partnership with the Chinese Communist Party. American experts have reason to believe that the CCP is already making plans to build themselves a battle airship fleet," the reporter spoke.
Everyone in the room grew incredibly stunned upon this revolation. Salem's partnership with China has just made their war with her incredibly more dangerous.
"That's not good," Watson said.
"It's China. I'm not that surprised that they would make an alliance with Salem for more power and influence," Robert said.
The screen started to show an image of the dragon continent with a line splitting in between the mainland. The bottom half of the land was labeled as Astar, the upper half was labeled as Salmania, and the islands above the landmass were labeled as Kemonia.
"And also as another result of their new partnership, three self proclaimed nations were founded on the land mass off the coast of Somalia. They have named these countries, Salmania, Astar, and Kemonia. Leading these countries are Arthur Watts of Salmania as Prime Minister, Gillian Asturias of Astar as its Queen, and Adam Taurus of Kemonia as its High Leader. All three nations follow their figurehead, Salem and follow her word and ideology," the reporter said.
The feed switches over to Adam Taurus standing behind a podium giving out a speech. He now has a prosthetic right hand.
"Following today, Adam Taurus has made this declaration to his people in Kemonia," the reporter said.
"I declare independence for our new kingdom. No human shall go without facing the justice that they truly deserve!" Adam declared.
Everyone continued to watch Keaton's phone as they were even more stunned to find that Salem had founded three new nations. Blake and Ilia grew incredibly worried upon seeing Adam as a leader of one of these new nations. The feed switches back to the reporter.
"Although these United Nations have so far refused to see Salmania, Astar, and Kemonia as official nations, China, North Korea, and Iran are the only three countries in the world to see them as official nations," the reporter said.
Keaton shuts off the screen and puts it away as everyone looks up at him.
"Has the UHL taken action yet?" Weiss asked.
"Negative. But I want it to be very soon, because if more countries recognize them as official nations, then they would have diplomatic immunity, and thus we can't take action," Keaton answered.
"That would make confronting Salem very difficult," Azumi said.
"How's Professor Ozpin and the other headmasters taking this?" Pyrrha asked.
"Not great. They're all really upset by this," Keaton answered.
"Politics. They can help you, but at the same time they can also fuck up everything," Rin said.
"So what now?" Ruby asked.
"For now, we wait," Keaton answered.
