Liz said, a little irritated and still looking at Dexter while tapping her fingers on the table, "I have you to talked to David and Armando today."

"Actually, I haven't spoken to them since yesterday," Dexter replied, not bothering to look at Liz as he jotted down notes in his notebook.

"Alright, so should we begin working on the project and then update them later?" Liz suggested, breaking the silence that had settled between them.

"I don't mind how you want to approach it," Dexter responded, adjusting his glasses.

"Great. Let's get started then," Liz declared, grabbing a piece of paper and starting to write, while Dexter offered a few ideas.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, David and Armando, accompanied by Tucker, were preparing to meet up with Mr. T.

"So, did you manage to sell to the college kid from the other day?" Armando asked, his gaze fixed on David, brimming with curiosity.

"Yep, not only did I sell to him, but he also placed another order earlier today," David replied, a wide smile spreading across his face.

"Nice," Armando responded, a small smile of satisfaction forming on his lips.

"heads up! They're coming!" Tucker alerted them, as a few cars arrived and parked nearby.

"That's better money in those bags," Mr. T remarked with a hint of satisfaction as he approached them.

"Yep," Armando and Tucker affirmed simultaneously, their faces filled with anticipation. They opened the bags, revealing the stacks of money, and presented it to Mr. T for him and his associates to inspect.

"So, how was it for your first time selling a larger shipment?" Mr. T inquired, his gaze shifting between David and Armando.

"It went alright, sir," David responded, his voice tinged with a mix of relief and caution.

"Good, but remember, never get too comfortable in this business," Mr. T cautioned, his tone carrying a sense of authority and warning.

"We'll keep that in mind, sir," Armando acknowledged, nodding in agreement.

"Sir, I've checked the money, and it's all there," one of Mr. T's men reported, confirming the accuracy of the count.

"Good. Start loading up the product into Tucker's truck," Mr. T commanded, as he walked away to engage in conversation with his associates. Meanwhile, his men diligently loaded the shipment into the truck.

"Oh, by the way, there's a kid at your school that I want you both to keep an eye on. His name is Billy Mason," Mr. T informed them, his gaze steady and piercing. David and Armando exchanged a brief, apprehensive glance before responding.

"Sure, we'll keep an eye on him," David affirmed with Armando nodded in agreement.

"Good. I'll be seeing you all soon," Mr. T concluded, his tone retaining an air of authority, before departing from the scene.

"That went better than I expected," Tucker exclaimed, a sense of relief evident in his voice as he patted David and Armando on the back.

"Yes, it certainly did," Armando agreed, nodding his head in approval. David chimed in with a confirming nod.

"Well, let's get going then," Tucker declared, his tone filled with determination, as he made his way towards his truck, with David and Armando trailing behind him.

Back with Liz and Dexter, they swiftly packed up their belongings, aware that the bell was about to ring any moment.

"If you talk to them, make sure to brief them about the work," Liz instructed, a hint of urgency in her voice.

"Sure," Dexter replied, quickly placing a few pencils into his backpack just as the bell rang, signaling the end of the class.

"catch you later," Liz said with a slight wave, and they began walking towards the parking lot. However, their path was abruptly interrupted as they were approached by a group of individuals standing by the exit door to the parking lot, and blocking their way.

"So the princess and the nerd finally show up," one of the guys taunted, his words dripping with mockery.

"Lucas, can you and your friends please move aside and go bother someone else," Liz retorted, her voice firm and resolute. She and Dexter came to a halt, facing the group directly.

"Why wouldn't you want to hang out with us? We can show you a good time," another guy sneered, an arrogant smile plastered across his face.

"Just leave her alone and let us pass," Dexter interjected, his voice carrying a mix of determination and frustration as he locked eyes with the group.

"Why should we listen to you? Don't forget you still have a beating pending," one of the guys retorted, stepping forward and invading Dexter's personal space.

"Get lost and leave us be!" Liz spat, her voice dripping with anger as she locked eyes with one of the guys.

"Why Armando won't care about you either way your just another girl for one night and he'll will push you to the curb" Lucas sneered, his gaze piercing into her.

"Hey, leave them alone or else," someone shouted from the back of the hallway. They all looked back; it was a group of friends of David and Armando walking towards them.

"This isn't your concern, so keep moving," one of the guys retorted, glaring at them defiantly.

"Actually, it does become my problem when you mess with my friends," the guy declared, stepping forward and boldly confronting Lucas face-to-face.

"You know what? I've had my fun. See you all around," Lucas said, a mix of frustration and resignation evident in his voice. He nodded to his companions, silently acknowledging their defeat, and they turned to leave.

"You two alright?" the guy asked, his tone filled with genuine concern, as he observed Lucas and his group retreating.

"Yeah, they were just messing with us," Dexter replied, glancing at Liz and giving a slight nod of agreement.

"Well, let's keep moving," the guy said, determination still lingering in his voice. They continued walking towards the parking lot, where everyone dispersed. Liz headed towards her car, while Dexter got picked up by Deedee, who was going to the store with him.

Later in the day, David and Armando showed up at Dexter's house, seeking his assistance with a problem they were facing at the warehouse.

"So, what brings you guys here today?" Dexter inquired, his voice filled with a blend of curiosity and eagerness. As they exited the elevator and entered his lab, they made their way to one of the tables.

"We recently acquired a warehouse," Armando explained, taking a seat alongside David.

"That's cool, but what seems to be the issue?" Dexter asked, settling into his own seat.

"The security system is outdated and the cameras are ancient. We need something more up to date," David explained, his gaze fixed on Dexter, hopeful for a solution.

"I have something that might work for you, but if you want the best, you'll have to talk to my friend who excels in that department," Dexter replied, a mix of confidence and humility in his voice.

"I thought you were the best," Armando remarked, a playful smirk on his face.

"I'm the best at creating the impossible," Dexter responded, matching their smirks, which brought smiles to David and Armando's faces.

"So, who's your guy and where can we find him?" David said.

"His name is Douglas E. Mordecai III, but you can just call him Douglas. You'll find him at the park today," Dexter informed them, quickly searching through his phone.

"At what time?" Armando asked, his eyes fixed on Dexter.

"5:30, at the bench area, with a laptop," Dexter replied.

"Well, we still have some time. Is there anything you need help with?" David offered, checking the time on his own phone.

"Yeah, I could use some help," Dexter replied, his voice filled with gratitude. They all rose from their seats and followed Dexter, eagerly assisting him around his lab until it was time to head to the park and meet his friend.

"Alright, we better get going if we want to catch him," David suggested, leading the way towards the elevator.

"Sure, but Armando, have you spoken to Liz at all today?" Dexter inquired, his gaze shifting between them, a hint of concern in his eyes.

"Nah, something happened," Armando said, curious as Dexter explained to him what had happened earlier that day and how Lucas had been bothering them.

"Thanks for telling us, man," David said as he patted his shoulder. Armando did the same, as Dexter walked them out and then they drove away.

"Don't you think it's time we deal with Lucas and his guys," Armando said as he was on his phone.

"We have to deal with Jack, too" David said firmly, his focus shifting to the road ahead.

"Jack won't give a damn. Lucas is just another face in his damn crew, and we damn well know we've let him slide for far too long," Armando replied, his words laced with frustration, causing David to pause and contemplate for a few seconds.

"Fine, but we're not going out of our way to find him," David finally conceded, his thoughts battling with the weight of the decision.

"Alright, I'm cool with that," Armando said, a tinge of relief evident in his voice. They continued talking, their conversation carrying a mix of apprehension and determination, until they finally reached the park.

"Do you have any clue what this guy looked like?" Armando asked, his eyes scanning the park.

"Not a clue, but Dexter mentioned he'd be hanging around the bench area, so let's check it out," David responded, walking toward the benches.

"I think that might be our guy, with the glasses and the laptop," Armando observed, nodding towards someone seated on one of the benches. They approached the individual cautiously.

"Hey, are you Douglas?" David asked, coming to a halt in front of the man on the bench.

"Well, that depends. How can I assist you fine gentlemen?" Douglas replied, his gaze lifting from his laptop screen as he adjusted his glasses, a mixture of curiosity and caution in his eyes.

"Dexter sent us. He mentioned you could help us out with our problem," David explained, handing Douglas a card and watching as he examined it.

Douglas examined the card, his expression shifting to one of curiosity. "Well, what seems to be the problem that Dexter couldn't handle?" he asked, a friendly smile gracing his face, as they took their seats, share their security problem.

"I'll tell you what. I have a few spare cameras you guys can have, but you'll need to come and collect them later this week," Douglas offered, his attention divided between the conversation and his laptop.

"Just let us know when and where," Armando responded, a nod of agreement exchanged between him and David.

"Excellent. Consider it arranged. I'll be expecting you both," Douglas replied, handing them a card with the designated location and time.

"Thank you. We'll definitely be there," David expressed his gratitude, while Armando carefully accepted the card.

"Goodbye then," Douglas bid farewell, shaking their hands before he stood up and began walking away, disappearing into the bustling park.

"Well, that went better than expected," Armando commented, glancing at the card in his hand, a flicker of satisfaction evident in his eyes. David nodded in agreement, a sense of accomplishment washing over him as he scanned the surroundings, his gaze eventually fixating on someone he recognized.

"Do you want to confront this now or postpone it?" David asked, a hint of determination in his voice, directing Armando's attention towards Lucas and his group.

"Let's do it now. Why prolong the wait?" Armando responded, a surge of resolve coursing through his veins. He stowed the card safely away, and both of them rose from their seats, making their way towards Lucas and his group.

As they reached Lucas' location, they swiftly unleashed a barrage of punches, effortlessly taking down anyone who dared to obstruct their path. With remarkable skill, they swiftly incapacitated their opponents, sending them crashing to the ground, unconscious. Armando positioned himself atop Lucas, relentlessly punching him, while David engaged in combat with the remaining adversary.

A few days prior, Dexter administered the identical serum he had previously used on David to Armando, at David's request.

"Stop messing with our friends, because next time we won't be so merciful," Armando growled, seizing the man by his T-shirt collar and landing a few more powerful punches. With a final strike, Armando released his grip and walked away, David following closely behind.

"Feeling better?" David asked, concern lacing his voice, as they reached his truck.

"Yeah, let's get out of here," Armando replied, a satisfied smile spreading across his face. He climbed into David's truck, and together they drove away, leaving the scene behind, heading towards Armando's house.

When Armando was dropped off and walking towards his front door, he received a message from Liz asking him to come to her house. He quickly turned around and began walking back to his truck, then drove to Liz's place. Upon arrival, he noticed that none of her parents' cars were present, which was different from the previous occasions when he had dropped her off.

Armando stepped into Liz's house, and she led him into her living room, remaining quiet. A mix of curiosity and concern welled up inside him as he finally spoke up, "So your parents aren't around, huh?"

"Nope," Liz replied, her gaze fixed elsewhere, withholding something from him.

Armando met her eyes. "Alright, then. Do you want to tell me why I'm here?" he asked, hoping for an explanation.

Liz's voice trembled with a mixture of vulnerability and frustration as she spoke, her eyes fixed on the ground, struggling to contain her emotions. "Am I just another girl to you, someone you want for a single night and then forget about?"

Armando's gaze remained fixed on her, his own emotions surfacing as he urgently responded, "No, you're wrong. You're not just another girl to me."

Liz's voice carried a blend of hope and uncertainty as she continued, her gaze still fixed on the ground and her feet, "Then what am I to you?"

As Armando walked in front of her, he gently lifted her face, gazing into her eyes. With a hopeful tone, he whispered, 'You're the girl I envision a future with.' he leaned in, initiating a deep and passionate kiss. In that moment, her arms naturally wrapped around his neck, while his hand found a comfortable place on her waist. They lost themselves in the embrace, their lips locked together for what seemed like an eternity until they reluctantly broke apart, to catch there breath.

Liz, her face flushed and filled with wonder, expressed her feelings, "That was... indescribable," she murmured, her forehead touching his as they both smiled, eyes closed.

"I was thinking the same," Armando replied, a radiant smile still gracing his lips. They settled onto the couch, nestling close to each other, and spent the rest of the afternoon cuddling and watching TV. As time passed, Liz began to doze off, finding comfort in Armando's presence. Sensing it was time to leave, Armando and Liz exchanged one last tender kiss before he made his way back home.
