Sequel to "Light Amidst Darkness". It's been over a decade since Anakin defeated Palpatine and the Clone Wars ended. The galaxy has settled into peace, and Anakin spends his days with his family or learning the secrets of the Force. But when a great darkness arises to take control of the galaxy, the galaxy explodes into war, and Anakin must learn what it means to be a true Jedi.

They promised each other forever. They promised each other that their love with withstand the war, the pressure, the burdens of leadership, and the inevitable power imbalance between them. They promised each other that their love would outburn the stars themselves. But in war, nothing is a guarantee, and that is something Anika and Fives know all too well.

In one universe, Anakin and Padme choose to wait until after the war to marry. But the Sith's plans are already in motion, so that alone will not be enough to save the galaxy, even though Anakin does not join Sidious. Instead, Anakin goes into hiding, vowing to do whatever it takes to bring Sidious down, even if it means fighting a war on his own as the vigilante called Vader.
