Ryan pauses the game and walks over to the bedroom and knocks on the door. "One moment?" Graham opens the door in sweatpants and an old white shirt, "yes, Ryan."

"You said good."

"You should know the lot of you spied on us."

"Only at the restaurant that was hours ago."

Graham's eyes go wide, "hours?"

"Yes, hours."

"Didn't even realize the time."

"What could you be doing for that long?"

"Talking and enjoying each other's company."

"Just like the two of you have been doing all this time."

"Exactly, now I am going to go to bed, goodnight Ryan."

"Night Graham."

"How was it?"

"They lost track of time?"

"What could they be doing for over two hours?"

"Apparently they were just talking and enjoying each other's company.

Meanwhile while driving home, Ace's phone is connected to her stereo when 'Bubbly' by Colbie Caillat comes on. She starts to sing along. As the song ends she pulls up to her driveway, ignoring the call from Tegan she heads up to bed. She falls asleep with a smile on her face.

The next morning Ace is awoken by the ringing of her doorbell. She gets on her robe and goes to open the door. "Graham?"

"I probably should've called."

"No, you're fine."

"I was wondering if you would like to spend the day together. I was already asked by Ryan how everything went, and I know Tegan will do the same to you, so I was thinking the two of us should spend the day together avoiding everyone."

"That sounds wicked, let me get dressed real quick." Ace lets him in as she runs upstairs to change. "I'm ready, let's go."

As they drive away from Ace's place a car passes them. "Was that Ace and Graham in the other car, Nyssa?"

"It was. I think Ace and Graham are onto the plan."

"She can only hide for so long. Was she at A Charitable Earth last week?"

"She was, that means it is UNITs turn."

"It is, I will probably swing by here tonight. If I don't get any answer from her, I will grill her at work."

"Tegan, be nice, she is just starting this relationship ."

"How many of her previous ones did she talk about right away?"

"Did we know any of them before she started dating them?"

"No."

"I also think how we all, minus Jo, followed them to their first date, and when they spotted us they quickly, and did Ace answer your call?"

"No."

"I say we let her have the day with Graham."

…..

"So where are we going?"

"A place where none of our friends would expect us to go."

"Where is that?"

"An arcade."

"I can't remember the last time I was at one."

"Same here, I thought it would be fun." When they arrive Graham purchases the cards with their tokens on them so they can play their games.

"You know I can pay for some of our dates."

"I know, and this was my idea, so I thought to pay."

"I will buy our food."

"Sounds good." They walk up to one of the simulators and Graham sees Ace's face light up on what it is. "You want to do this game?"

"I do, you want to make it a two player?"

"Next round."

"Ok," Ace steps into the cage, picks up the bat and it starts up the game.

"Have fun Ace."

"I will."

As she starts swinging, someone comes up beside Graham "who is that?"

"She is Ace. The two stand there, the stranger's mouth drops as Ace goes up to Graham.

"Are you game?"

"Yes, I am."

Before Graham can fully step into the cafe the stranger says, "are you Dorothy McShane?"

"I am."

"He said you were Ace."

"A nickname those closest to me call me. Graham was just trying to help make sure we can have our date in private."

"Oh, sorry."

"That's ok." With a smile she looks back at Graham, "I am going to step back in, we will do one round and you can use it. He promised me that he would play one game with me, well this one. We just got here, and he doesn't know how competitive I am yet." Ace walks in and together, both her and Graham play the game.

After they finish they get out of the cage to see that the stranger has left, Ace looks again at Graham, "what next?"

"Skee-ball, time for something I am good at."

"I am sure that you are good at other things," with a wink, she walks over to the skee-ball machines that are right next to each other, "coming," Ace shoots over her shoulder.

"I am," he catches up to her and they start to play skee-ball. They end up tying scores. "You are competitive aren'tcha?"

"Yes, I am," she shoots him an air kiss. After a few hours of play they stop to eat. Ace buys them some pizza and a soda.

"Today has been fun so far."

"It has, I am glad you thought of this."

"I wanted to do something different."

"This is different, want to know something?"

"Sure."

"As you know I spent most of my teenage years either traveling with the Doctor or trapped on an alien planet."

"Yeah."

"The few dates I went on before then, I never went to one of these."

"Well, now you have."

"Honestly with the best one."

"Best one?"

"Dates," Ace smiles at him.

"Oh," Graham thinks and smiles, "oh."

"Yes, you."

"I."

"You don't need to say anything. Let's get back to the games," she gets up and throws away her trash, Graham follows suit. Ace finds a dance game. "Come dance with me."

"More like against."

"Which would be more fun?"

"I think dancing with you."

"We can do that on a different date."

"I'll look forward to it."

"Now come on." After Graham steps on worried that he will mess up as Ace picks a song and as the music starts up Graham has trouble recognizing it, but still enjoys it. He tries to keep up, but his eyes keep going over to Ace who is having a lot of fun. They stay for a few more hours, when they are too tired to continue each go and exchange their tickets for prizes. "What do you got there," Ace asks as Graham is hiding something behind his back.

He takes out a stuffed bear, "for you."

"Thank you, I guess what they say about like minds is true."

"They think alike."

"Exactly," Ace pulls out something from behind her back and it is the same bear.

"I love it."

"Thank you," they walk out hand in hand, each carrying their prize.

When they arrive back at Ace's, "shoot, she is like a dog with a bone."

"Is that Tegan's car?"

"It is."

"Want me to face the interrogation with you?"

Ace throws back her head and laughs, "you're sweet, no thank you." She reaches for her bear and kisses Graham on the cheek.

"Ace," she turns before she gets out of the car and Graham kisses her right cheek. She gets out of the car with a smile.

"What was that?" Tegan asks as Ace gets up the stairs on the porch.

"What was what?"

"You two kissing each other on the cheek."

"That is what it was. Do you want something Tegan?"

"Your second date with Graham lasted all day, and you end up with a stuffed animal."

"We both did. It was fun."

"What did you two do?"

"Go to an arcade."

"Why would he take you there?"

"Maybe because on our first date we had spies, and it was the place less likely to have spies at."

"You saw that?"

"We did. Then we went on a small walk and ran into Jo."

"What was she doing there?"

"Missing Cliff."

"Oh."

"Tegan, what other questions do you have?"

"How?"

"You are at my house for the second time today."

"Are you happy?"

"We have only had two dates."

"Dates that lasted hours."

"What does that say?"

"You are having fun."

"I am," Ace smiles while unlocking her door. "Want to come in?"

"Why haven't you kissed yet?"

"It will happen when the moment is right. You saw the cheek kisses."

"And the hand kiss."

"I can't remember the last time someone did that. I am glad Graham is a little old fashioned, it made me feel special."

"You are."

"I know," she says with an eye roll, "remembering the times the Professor said Ace's are rare."

"They said it often."

"That or they had an Ace up their sleeve."

"The Doctor sure loved Dad jokes at that point in time."

"They did, but I secretly loved it."

"Now you are falling in love with someone who met the Doctor years later."

"Also has a nickname for the Doctor like I do."

"How similar are the two of you?"

"We have a few, but also we have a few differences."

"Hmm."

"What?"

"You will see. I will see you at UNIT Ace."
