During the weekend Ace and Graham go on a date at Waterfront Vauxhall Restaurant. "This place is nice Ace." He says as they walk into the building.

"Thank you, it was my turn to take you somewhere, and I have been wanting to try this place. I have heard wonderful things about it." They walk arm in arm to the Marti-D. "Table for two for McShane."

"You are Dorothy McShane, aren't you?"

"Yes, I am and this is Graham."

"Right this way." When they get to their table Graham pulls out Ace's chair and she shoots him a look.

After they are alone, "I knew people knew who you were, but that is two dates where people are shocked that you are on a date."

"I don't date often and when I do, I try to keep it more private. With you it's different, I want to go out and date publicly."

"I am honored that you want to be seen out with me in public." She reaches her hand and Graham takes it, when the waitress comes and takes their orders.

"Has Yaz and Ryan been leaving you alone this week?"

"They have, what about Tegan and Nyssa?"

"They have too, do you think, they finally realize that the relationship is just for us?"

"I hope so, I would appreciate it if Tegan stopped her plans."

"Same here." Their food arrives, they drop their hands and start to eat.

"What is something that not many people know about you?"

"After me Mum died, I didn't have a good relationship with my Father, he got rid of all her things."

"I am sorry, I think everyone knows that, I never got along with my Mum, what most don't know is that my Dad left when I was little, and growing up Mum would bring home a new guy home almost every week. Granted after I came back to live here on Earth that changed after everything with Fenric."

"The Doc sure likes people that had a hard childhood."

"They really do, the Professor sort of became like a Father to me as you know."

"That means if we ever run into one again, I may get a lecture on treating their daughter right."

"They better not. I am in my 50s, they should know I can handle myself, plus they should know you, and that you don't do anything with half a heart."

"You're right, and they should know only someone special, or Ace," Graham says wink, "can help my heart grow."

"Gordon Bennent, Graham, that was horrible," Ace says with a laugh.

"Any chance to get to hear and see you laugh."

"I guess it's good that you make me laugh a lot already." Ace smiles at Graham.

"Sir, Ma-am, how is your food?"

"It's great," Ace tells the man.

He walks away and goes to the back room, "why does the woman at my table look so familiar?"

"You know the charity, A Charitable Earth?"

"Yeah, one of my friends in school got help from it white we were in school."

"That is the head of the charity Dorothy McShane."

"What?!"

"Yes, that's her." The coworker shows the server a picture of Ace.

"Who is that guy with her?"

"Don't know, according to what I heard when they walked in, it was her turn to pick a place."

"Can you tell how long they have been together?"

"No."

"Ok.''

"Remember, do not say anything to anyone about her being on a date here.''

"Why?"

"We want people with her status showing up here."

"Ok," the server walks back out to see Ace and Graham laughing and their plates empty. Ace makes eye contact, the server comes by.

"Anything I can help you with?"

"Just the bill please?"

"Of course Ma-am, may I ask if you two want a desert?"

"No thank you, we are fine." After the bill is paid Ace and Graham leave the restaurant and get in her car, "what do we want to do next?"

"I don't want the night to end yet.''

"Neither do I," Ace looks over at Graham and they smile and start to lean closer when there is a knock on the door." Ace rolls down the window.

"Miss, can you please move the car."

"I can." Ace starts up the car and looks at Graham who is blushing. "We almost got caught."

"We did."

"No need to be embarrassed Graham, it happens to many people I am sure."

"You saw my blush in this lightning didn't you."

"I find it cute."

"I."

"Also I have a feeling I would've liked the kiss."

"I would too," they both bite their bottom lip in anticipation of their first kiss that they both want. They drive around for a little bit talking and laughing when Ace drives up to the flat Ryan and Graham share. "Want to come in?"

"Sure." They walk in to see Ryan playing video games. He looks up to see Graham and Ace at the door holding hands, smiles and pauses his game and moves to a chair so the two could have the couch. Ace and Graham move over to the couch and start sitting on opposite sides, but gravitate to the other and Graham puts his arm around Ace's shoulders and she rests her head and Graham's shoulder. They start quietly talking like that, Ryan can't hear as he has his headphones on.

"This feels nice."

"It does, I am with two of the people I care most about this world. I am glad I replaced the chair Ryan is sitting on."

"Why did you have to replace it?"

"Before Ryan and I left the TARDIS, the Doc broke it when she landed the TARDIS on it."

"Yaz might be a better driver than she is."

"Why do you say that?"

"She caught me while flying the TARDIS, after I jumped off the old UNIT building shortly before we met, while Cybermen were shooting at me, and my parachute had started burning from it."

Graham's arm grew a little tighter around Ace as she says this, "I am glad she caught you. I wouldn't have met you and probably would've been killed by a Dalek or a volcanic eruption."

Ace looks up at him, "I am glad too," their eyes meet.

"I'm going to bed," Ryan announces as he turns off his game and goes to his bedroom.

"I guess I should go home now."

"You sure?" Ace gets up and Graham does too.

"I am."

"Let me walk you out."

"You don't need to."

"I want to."

"To the door?"

"Ok." They walk to the door, Graham walks out of the door with Ace.

"Well good night Graham."

"Ace," she turns around, his hand goes to her cheek as they step closer and their heads move closer until their lips meet and eyes close. Before they know it Graham's hand moves down and both of them are holding hands right in left and left in right. Ace's tongue sneaks out of lips and brushes against Graham's lips. He opens his mouth a little bit in expectance. Their tongues meet as they continue to kiss slowly.

When they break both eyes open slowly, "Ace?"

"Yes," she says softly.

"Was that?" Ace leans in again and kisses him and he kisses back eyes close again and both can feel the smile on the other's face.

"Does that answer your question?"

"It does," Graham's smile grows.

"Was it as good as your dreams?"

"Better, my dreams can't hold a candle to the real kiss."

"Good, I better get going. Talk to you later?"

"Call me when you get home."

"I will." Ace walks back to her car Graham watches her to make sure she is safe and heads back in. Locks up and gets ready for bed, waiting for Ace's call.
