Update from The Dragon's Cave: 8/1/2021
Good day to you all. As always, My name is Sean Thames. The owner and sole writer of DragonsFire Entertainment. Here to give you the latest news and updates on all of DragonsFire's exciting content. A lot has developed since you were last here, and we (meaning just me) couldn't be more ecstatic in showing you what all is coming to you in the next few months and year. So without further ado, lets start with the reason you all pay attention to this profile. The heart wrenching, tear jerking drama that is Paw Patrol: The Ballad of Dally.
The Ballad of Dally
The last time you were here, Ballad of Dally had just entered a planned month hiatus, to get ahead with the writing, and to make weekly updates more manageable. I couldn't be more happy to report that the hiatus was a huge success! Not only did I get 10 Chapter's ahead, nearly all of Act II has been written! Meaning that the chance for any delays in this story is highly unlikely. From here, to the epilogue of the story, you can truly expect an uninterrupted line of chapters starting next week!
I also stated last month that Ballad of Dally will have a chapter limit of 50 chapters. Unfortunately, due to recent development to the story itself, I have to extended it to 60 Chapters. That's not to say that there will be 60 chapters, just that it wont go pas 60 chapters. Because of this, Dally may carry over to 2022 as far as updates are concerned, but the writing will at least be done by the end of the year for sure.
Now a little about Act II. The first year without Marshall have been pretty brutal for the Paw Patrol. With many of our favorite pups inching closer and closer to nearly giving in. Ryder, Chase, Skye, Rocky, Zuma, and Rubble, will be tested to their upmost limit, as they try to move on without Marshall. Now, unfortunately, you're not going to get all that happens in the year here, because many of the years events will be their own story's in the future. So were going to jump and stop at different points to see how the Paw Patrol has been without the best fire pup in the world.
To give you a little bit of an idea of how hard the year will be for the Paw Patrol, I would like to present to you a little excerpt from the first chapter of Act II "Five Minutes", to see how the year starts. I hope you Enjoy!
"AAAAHHHH!"
Chase screamed out of his sleep like he was being burned alive. He gasped for air as he made several attempts to catch his breath. Once he was sure he was breathing regularly, he immediately teared up and started to sob.
Another nightmare, and it was the worst one of them all. Nothing ever came close to the pain and despair he experienced in the dream. To the point where he started to second guess his ever getting out of that building, just so Marshall would be here right now. That's who he needs to talk to right now.
But Marshall wasn't here. Marshall was dead. Dead as he was in his dream. So far away which only made the shepherd cry more.
After a few moments of crying, Chase rose to his feet in his pup house, figuring that he needed to talk to someone. He didn't want to, but he had to. Not because of his pride, but because as painful and gut wrenching it was to recall, there was no way he could hide this one. Especially since he was sure someone heard his horrid scream. Not to mention the others that he let out in his sleep.
Out of all the pups and Ryder, one came to mind, but it was puzzling to him why she was not practically banging on his door, right now. Surly…..she must've heard him scream.
Putting that aside, he decided to go up to Skye herself. He hoped he wouldn't disturb her too much.
Chase stepped outside his puphouse, and was bewildered to see that the entire area was bare and soulless. He looked around and found absolutely no one up. Confused, he looked up at the top of the lookout and found that Ryder's light wasn't even on.
This boggled Chase to no end. It was so quiet as everyone seemed to still be asleep.
Did…..Did no one hear him? How? Chase was sure his screams were loud enough to wake up the entire town. It was very puzzling and admittedly, very disheartening to see this
"Di….did no one here me at all?" Chase mumbled to himself, feeling as lonely as he did in his dream.
He shook it off as he eyed Skye's puphouse, well…...her temporary one. He trotted over to it, knowing that Skye would be the perfect friend to talk to. But…..when he made his way to her opened door, he made a horrible discovery.
The house was completely empty, with no Skye in sight. Only a piece of paper occupied the space in the center. Chase immediately picked it up and started to read it. His heart in his throat, beating at every written word.
To whoever finds this
As you have probably guessed by now, I have made my decision. I can't go on with Paw Patrol. Not just because of Marshall being gone, but because there is no place for me on this team. Without my copter and jetpack, I'm nothing more than a talentless burden on you all. I'm so, so sorry for leaving you all, but I feel that it's the best thing for me. I'm going to find some place where I can be very useful even without flying. To where I don't have to worry of being purposeless and just being another mouth to feed.
None of you ever pushed me to this. I did this with my own volition. So please don't feel that it's your fault, because it's not. I couldn't ask for a better group of friends and a wonderful owner. Especially you Chase. I love you all.
Goodbye to you all and good luck. I hope Marshall isn't crying too much in puppy heaven.
Forever your friend and best pilot...maybe
Skye
What a very chilling way to start the year off. Could you believe that this was only hours after the funeral itself? Man Skye has impeccable timing, and what happened in the dream to scare Chase that much? You will have to find out next Friday, When Paw Patrol: The Ballad of Dally returns with Act II, Chapter 21: Five Minutes, releasing August 13th, 2021!
Other thing to note, I know nearly all of you are excited for the Paw Patrol Movie coming out a week later. Since I speculate that you all will be all over that on that Friday, Chapter 22 will be released on Thursday, August 19th. After that, Friday's will be the day for updates for Ballad of Dally.
Now on to a celebration.
Temple of Doom: Anniversary Edition
Last update, I announced that The first story of DragonsFire, Paw Patrol and The Temple of Doom, will be cleaned up and revised to celebrate it's first anniversary!
The heart racing, blood pumping adventure will be an all in one chapter, with the typos eliminated, the continently errors fixed, and will mold it a little bit more, to make it better fit in the DragonsFire universe. The story will also have a more engaging cover. Not much, but better than the one it had.
Be ready to take down a sadistic evil cult with Chase, Marshall, And Claria again, when Paw Patrol and the Temple of Doom: Anniversary Edition, races over August 27th 2021!
The celebration contenues with...
Lost and Found: A Temple of Doom Story.
Last time, I announced a new 5 part story named Lost and Found, detailing the two day search for Chase and Marshall, with Ryder and The Paw Patrol. With the first chapter coming out later in the year, I would like to give a breakdown of what the story will be.
Lost and Found will have 5 chapters in the story, Along with a Prologue and Epilogue. It will cover their journey, all the way to Wintergreen, with a notable conversation on the way back to the lookout, between Marshall and Everest. Tears will be shed and hearts would be on the line, as Ryder and the pups will go through heart break and triumph, as Ryder tries to hold it together, Skye does her best to be strong without Chase, Everest tries to cope with her feelings while also facing her past, Rubble has to move on without his sweetheart Skylar, and Rocky and Zuma tries to keep themselves sane.
Join the search for Chase and Marshall on November 30th, 2021!
And now...some information on a upcoming nonstop action thrill ride.
Raiders of The Lost Ark
I announced a month ago, that the next exciting story from DragonsFire entertainment will be another adaption of an Indiana Jones movie. This time staring Rocky and Zuma. A lot of you really enjoyed Temple of Doom, so I thought it would be fun to do another Indiana Jones film. Like Temple, Raiders will be adapted to fit the Paw Patrol universe, while also having the key moments from the movie.
I don't have any previews or sneak peeks for you, but I do have a synopsis for you:
Five years have gone by since the slow death of Paw Patrol. Since then, Rocky has been living by himself in the abandoned lookout, after everyone left for their hopes and dreams. But just because Paw Patrol has ended, doesn't mean the adventures have, and when Mayor Humdinger employs his nephew and a ruthless treasure hunter named Scarlet to recover a powerful artifact, Rocky goes to get it first. But to do it, he has to rekindle a lost friendship he shattered years before.
That should give you a little idea for what's in store for 2022.
The story will begin production as soon as Ballad of Dally's writing is done.
With that, that is all that the Cave has for you today. I hope you are very excited for the many things to come in Dragonsfire Entertainment. I hope you are very excited for what's in store for Ballad of Dally, excited to read Lost and Found, and is looking forward to Raiders of the Lost ark.
I also have to state that release dates and titles are subject to change and any previews that you saw may be different
