Update from the Dragon's Cave: 9/11/21

Greetings, and welcome back to the Dragons Cave. As always, my name is Sean Thames, and I'm the sole writer and owner of DragonsFire entertainment, here to give you the latest news and updates from all of DragonsFire's projects.

Before we get into it, I would like to take this time to remember those we lost 20 years ago, on September 11, 2001. Nearly 3,000 innocent lives were taken away, thanks to a curial and heinous attack on our very soil. My heart and feelings goes out to anyone who was effected by the destruction of the World Trade Center buildings, The collapse of the pentagon, Flight 93's crash, and all the public service members who gave their lives to rescue as many as they could. I wish nothing but good fortune and prosperity to all of you and your families who were impacted greatly by this attack. I may not be able to do much, but I hope that me providing you with entertainment helps you through the darkest times of life.

Now on to what's new in DragonsFire, First off,

Ballad of Dally

As many of you may know, the writing process for Act II is complete, and all chapters have been locked and loaded. At the time of this posting, we are five chapters in with eleven chapters left to go. To give you all a taste of what's coming, I will give you all a sneak peek. Please enjoy...

The sandy beach was unrecognized thanks to the large ship that was now sitting on the beach, along with the plethora of containers that were lying beside it, with cargo littering all over.

Chase opened his eyes to see that he was standing over the shaky terrier pup he saved from the meeting her end. Amazed that he was spared as well.

"Are you okay little pup?" Chase asked the pup, who was looking at him, as if he was Apollo the super pup.

The pup responded by wrapping the shepherd up in a crushing hug. Sobbing softly into his fur. "Thank you Chase! Thankyouthankyouthankyou! I can't believe THE Chase saved me! You are my favorite pup in the worrrld!"

Chase couldn't help but smile a little at the apparent fan. It may be because of the spur of the moment, but it still was nice to be recognized.

"I-I guess that means you're okay." Chase chuckled.

It was then, while he was hugging his "fan" back, that he noticed a pup, standing a few yards away from him on the main street. It was a Dalmatian, and upon looking at him, Chase realized that….it was Marshall! Looking straight at him!

What do you think? Are you excited? I think you are. One of the most anticipated moments in the fic is a few chapters ahead, so I hope your ready for it!

I would also like to announce that after the conclusion of Act II, a short break will commence so I can make sure Act III will be as good as I would like it to be. During that time, another story will fill the void and that is of course...

Lost and Found

A Temple of Doom side story that depicts the events outside of Chase and Marshall's journey in Wintergreen. At the time of this, a prologue and two chapters have been written, with five chapters to go. I also have a synopsis for you...

After being notified of a successful mission in Sticksburg, Ryder has suddenly lost all contact with Chase and Marshall, prompting the Paw Patrol to travel to Sticksburg for their whereabouts. Tears will be shed and hearts would be on the line, as Ryder and the pups will go through heartbreak and depression, trying to do all they can to hold out for Chase and Marshall's survival.

I hope your excited to join the search for Chase and Marshall, as the first chapter of Lost and Found is released November 30th, 2021

Now for some more information about the next project in the Paw Patrol universe!

Raiders of the Lost Ark

Last time you were here, I unveiled the synopsis of the upcoming story. Here it is again..

Five years have gone by since the slow death of Paw Patrol. Since then, Rocky has been living by himself in the abandoned lookout, after everyone left for their hopes and dreams. But just because Paw Patrol has ended, doesn't mean the adventures have, and when Mayor Humdinger employs his nephew and a ruthless treasure hunter named Scarlet to recover a powerful artifact, Rocky goes to get it first. But to do it, he has to rekindle a lost friendship he shattered years before.

Now unfortunately, the writing has not started yet, but...I will reveal what all characters will be in the story. Of course, Rocky and Zuma will be the star of the adventure, trying to reconnect after a devastating fall out five years prior. Rubble will also have a strong presence in the fic, along with Mayor Humdinger's snotty nephew, Herold, and Rocky's evil cat counterpart, Tabby (at least I think he is, if not, please correct me.) A new OC will also make her debut appearance in Raiders of the Lost Ark, Scarlet, A Boston terrier with a lust for the worlds priceless artifacts and a strong presence in Rocky's past.

Also, I need to ask you an important question. Will you guys mind if Rocky has a whip in the fic or do you think that's way to much like Indiana Jones?

The release window is still set for sometime in mid 2022, after Ballad of Dally is concluded.

This concludes this month's edition of The Dragon's Cave. I hope you all are excited for what is to come later on down the line!

As always, if you have any questions or want to express what you're most excited about, please feel free to leave it in your review. You can also PM me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
