That Saturday, when Graham shows up at Ace's so they can work on the timers, she grabs his hand first and brings him in for a kiss. "Good morning, Ace."

"Good morning Graham, ready for a day surrounded by explosives?"

"When I am around you, my feelings are explosive."

She smiles at him and takes his hand and walks in through the house to the backyard where she has her lab. "Welcome to my lab," she says as she opens the doors. "You are the first person beside me and my contractor that has been inside."

"I feel special."

"You are special," Ace says looking deep into his eyes.

"You are special to me too Ace," they stand there looking at each other for a little bit, "should we get started."

"We shall." They move to one of the tables, "this is the timer," Graham takes out his glasses and Ace looks away.

"What?"

"I like you in your glasses."

"Really?"

"Very much so, want me to go get mine?"

"Sure, I like you in your glasses too." Ace walks out upstairs, and grabs her glasses, thinking on how to tease him. She rubs her shoulder knowing something will happen.

''ACE, what is going on?''

''You know Graham?"

"Graham O'Brien, met in my 14th regeneration, but 13th recognized."

''I have fallen in love with him."

''I am glad, he will treat you like you deserve.''

''Professor, there are times I have almost let it slip?"

''Tell him."

''I don't think he is ready. We have only been actively seeing each other as more than just friends for a month.''

"Ace, you love him."

''I do."

"Tell him then. Graham is a good guy."

"I know, Professor, why do you think I fell for him?"

"Ace, you have a big heart, and when I knew you; you would fall quickly. Though I more than approve of this one."

"Professor."

"I haven't seen the two of you together, but how can someone not love you. Where is he?"

"In my bomb shelter, he's going to help me figure out the timers."

"You let someone into your world of Nitro-999, that isn't me."

''I trust Graham, though in a different way that I trusted you."

"Good, now go back to him." Ace goes and grabs her glasses and heads back to Graham.

"Hello love." Ace says walking in with her glasses in her hands. "I may need these, I realized that I didn't put in my contacts today."

Graham raised one eyebrow, "or did you just take them out?"

"Ok, I did, but you wanted to see me in them."

"I would like to see you in anything," realizing what he just said and that it could be a double meaning he blushes and turns away.

Ace goes up behind him and whispers, "just tell me when and where, and I will love to put on a show for you and only you." Graham gulps. "Come on, let's get started." He continues to look forward. "Graham." She touches his shoulder, and he jumps, "you ok Graham?"

"I am, just wasn't expecting that out of my mouth, and know how much I mean it."

"I know you aren't fully ready for the next step, and I am ok with it.'

"Ace, you shouldn't have to wait for me."

"That's what you do when," Ace walks quickly to a table and tries to change the subject.

"Ace?"

"Yes?"

"When you what?"

"I," she looks around Graham, reaches out his hand and brings her eyes to his. "I think you know," she closes the remaining distance and kisses him. His hands move around her back as hers go around his neck as they both sigh happiness. After the kiss breaks, Ace and Graham look into each other's eyes and try to read what is going on in the other's mind.

"I may not know what is going on in that wonderful mind of yours, but I know that my feelings are growing for you by the day. It helps that we talk to each other everyday."

"Graham, my feelings for you are already stronger than I know how to handle, though they too seem to be growing by the day. I am looking forward to the day, I can tell you how I truly feel for you."

Rubbing her arm, "you can tell me anything Ace."

"I want to be sure you are ready. Though anyone who knows me can say something about the fact I let you in the one area that no one has ever been in, and only one being knows the formula, well the old formula for it."

"The Doc?"

"Yes, they know the formula for Nitro-9. Probably will one day ask for the formula of Nitro-999. One of two outside of me that I trust enough with it."

"Who is the other?"

"He is a former bus driver, a grandfather, loves food, and doesn't mind blowing things up."

"So me."

"You Graham O'Brien." They get to work, at one point Ace storms out and Graham follows her.

"Ace," he catches up with her, "we will figure it out."

"I have been working on it for over half my life, I even have a different recipe now. Why can't I get the timer right?" Ace opens up the back door that leads inside her kitchen.

"I don't know, but we can figure it out."

"Before something happens to you again."

"Ace, I am ok. My doctor gave me the ok to go out in the field again."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I wanted to surprise you."

"How?"

"The first whiff that Kate had of something going out of the normal London or United Kingdom, she was going to pair you and I up."

"Graham?"

"Yes."

"I still sometimes see you falling. I know it wasn't my doing or anything."

"Ace, if anything Niro-999 saved my life. It damaged the Dalek enough, so when it shot at me; it only knocked me out." He steps closer to her as she has put herself up against the counter.

"I have nightmares about my Nitro-999 killing you. The only person that happened to before was the Doctor when the timer wasn't right the first time he used it."

"This was nowhere near my first time using it. I trust you impeccably, if you didn't feel it was safe, you wouldn't have allowed it out of your lab."

"I know."

"Good, may I kiss you."

"You needn't ask," Graham pushes his lips against hers and she moans into it. Before she knows it she is being lifted up on the counter and her legs go around his waist as they start to make out. Graham can feel the stirring in his stomach that he had a few hours ago when she whispered in his ear. Ace can feel what he is feeling, though she has grown used to that feeling around him. She moans again as their tongues begin to fight for dominance. He also starts to moan. As they need to breathe, Ace gets off the counter, with flushed cheeks, takes Graham's hand and they head upstairs.
