Update From The Dragon's Cave: 3/1/2022
Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to another exciting update from the Dragon's Cave! As always, my name is Sean Thames. The sole owner and writer of DragonsFire Entertainment bringing you the latest updates on all of DragonsFire stories.
Before we get to the stories, let me address something to you all. I know a lot of you are still at least a little concerned about my mental well being coming from such a devastating event. I want to reassure you all that I couldn't be more than ecstatic to return to Fanfiction and continue to entertain you the best I can. Believe it or not, this is helping me more than you think, so to come back from something that would've normally ended a writer's passion, means a lot to me. Trust me, I am a okay.
Now that that's out of the way, let's get to the good stuff.
Ballad of Dally
For nearly a year and a half now, you all have been enthralled in the most anticipated and emotional Paw Patrol story to date. It's almost surreal to think that the story has roughly twenty chapters left. That's right, Act III is defiantly the final act in the story, and things are really starting to rise from the ashes. (No pun intended)
On March 11th, 2022, Paw Patrol: The Ballad of Dally, is set to make it's return to Fanfiction, with Chapter 37: A New Friend! In it, Chase will make an attempt to connect with Dally and maybe help him become who he once was.
As a treat to you all for waiting so patiently, I have a little piece that I would like to show you...
Dally stepped out the doggie door to the outside and although he loved the look and sounds of the forest, none of that could put not a faintest smile on his face.
He no longer knew why he bothered coming out to entertain himself, cause that's all he would be doing. Entertaining himself. There were animals he loved to play with of course, at least the ones that wouldn't run away from him, but he couldn't talk to him.
If only he could. Then he would have someone to talk to. Someone that can listen to him and talk back. Someone he could call….a friend.
It was then that he remembered why he was even out here. He was wanting to go out and find the pup he met yesterday. The German Shepherd that Dally was drawn towards. When he saw him on the beach, running around, helping everyone off the beach as a giant ship was crashing on to it, Dally was struck with something that he'd never felt before. In that moment he felt the urge to join him out there. Not to talk, but to help him. It nearly drove him to do it but when Dally caught eye of what the Shepherd was wearing, it glued him in the spot.
Dally may not remember much from when he woke up in the building, but the one thing he remembered for sure, was a pack he seemed to have on when he woke up. He didn't know what it was, he didn't know what it was doing there, he didn't even know what color it was. All he knew was that it broken and on his back. Dally thought that it was the only clue he had to who he once was, and now he no longer has that along with his memories.
When Dally saw Chase's pack on, it looked awfully similar the pack he had on apart from it not being broken. He knew it wasn't his, but it made Dally's interest in Chase grow.
Much later, Dally ended up running into Chase, and the exchange he had with him was very puzzling to him. The Shepherd first mistook him for someone else and claimed that he looked like him. Dally didn't think anything of it, figuring that the impact must've caused him to mistake Dally for someone else. It wasn't until now that he thought more about it and wondered if Chase was a presence in his life before.
In all honesty though, that wasn't what made Dally want to find Chase. He wanted to find him and hang out with him. Chase was the only other dog he'd seen since waking up and after so long of being alone, Dally felt that this was his one chance at having a true friend.
But then, he remembered the promise he made to Stacy. That he would never go into the city again. He didn't want to break the rule again, as it would cause Stacy to get mad at him, which was something Dally preferred not to do. But if he stays, he'll never find Chase and he doubts if Chase could ever find where he was. If he even wanted to find him at all.
The tears stain his eyes as he got closer and closer to reality. He'll never have someone to talk to. He'll never have someone to play with. He'll never have someone to laugh with. He'll never have a true friend.
Dally abruptly dropped to his belly in the middle of the forest. He had no idea how far he walked, but he could careless, as he whimpered and sobbed in between his paws. Surrounded by the nothingness that trapped him in his misery.
I have to say, things don't look too pleasant for our Dalmatian friend. It seems the Dally is reaching out for a real friend. Will Chase be able to fulfill that hole in Dally's heart, and will Dally finally be lead to the memories he lost long ago?
Find that out when The emotional roller coaster returns in ten days, when Chapter 37: A New Friend, comes out!
Lost and Found
Unfortunately, I have some grim news for Lost and Found. Due to the impact of the fire, Lost and Found is still on an extended hiatus, and it will be a long time before I can get back to it. It's a darn shame, but I'm afraid it's the best I can do for right now. Don't worry though, story will not abandoned, I plan on attempting to get back to it after Raiders of the Lost Ark is finished.
Raiders of the Lost Ark
As you probably have guessed, Raiders has been pushed far back on the schedule to make room for Dally now. So far, the writing hasn't begun yet but it will start soon. Check back for any updates on the exciting blood pumping action staring Rocky and Zuma!
This concludes this update of The Dragon's Cave. I hope you all are very excited for DragonsFire's return to Fanfiction. To celebrate this wonderous occasion, please share your thoughts on what you think of Ballad of Dally so far, and tell me what your most excited about from Dally's return, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Lost and Found! Not going to lie, I am very curious to what you all think, so please don't be shy.
As always, if you have any questions, leave it in your review. You can also PM me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
