Hey guys, so as I write this chapter we are going through a really rough time in our world, with COVID and the killing of George Floyd, at the same time a lot of the people at home are feeling of the effects of COVID and being away from society.
We are the next generation, we can stop racism, bullying, insecurities, depression. we have the power to end it once and for all. We need to take that step towards a better tomorrow.
I know that right now a lot of you are probably going through a rough time in your life, you've probably lost a friend, or a girl/boyfriend, or a family member. I know that these are difficult times in our lives and I also know that it feels impossible to overcome everything.
But I promise you as an author and a friend, things will get better nothing is forever.

Dark skies filled with ash, house burning, blood dripping into the ocean around, a massive tree has fallen symbolizing an end to a generation, pleading screams.
"NOO MORE PLEASE" the voice feminine in nature screamed as the eyes gazed up to see a massive figure holding two broken bodies in their arms.
"Crashing storm" Another voice roared out as a massive pillar of electricity came raining down on the massive being "Damn it's too strong" the figure looked behind and shouted to everyone to evacuate and that any mage is good at defensive spells should be able to form a defensive wall around everyone. The people and the mages rushed away and when the figure turned their eyes widened as a massive hand came crashing down.
"NOOOOOOOO" The voice shouted as he bolted upright and clutched at his chest, sweat dripping off his head, the night breeze doing little to calm his raging nerves, he fell back on the bed and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night but could only think of what he saw and he hoped to whatever God was out there to not let such a nightmare come to pass.

The life of a mage is always a dangerous path, they walk the line of warriors who defend the innocent in times of dire situations. They do not hesitate to serve and protect those that need it, and this leads certain mages to take up higher positions instead of remaining in a guild. The strongest mages eventually join the ranks of the elite and the top 10 of them comprise the ten wizard saints who have the authority of all things mage related.

currently, only five of the ten are active saints, one is a dark mage, one is unknown for she was never around nobody alive knows if she exists but she is said to have complete manipulation of Ice and water, one is retired, and two died valiantly in battle. The spots that are available need to be filled and the candidates to take up these spots are:

They are the top mages of their guilds and most are from Fairy tail due to how they walk the path of magic.
Every year there is a contest held, this contest has candidates from Fiore, Pergrande, Alvares and one more continent, all meet in one area of the council's choosing, where they will test themselves there is no win or lose but instead, they will be tested to see how they match up against some of the wizard saints in terms of intellect, strength, and problem-solving. Only once the contestants have proven themselves will be asked to battle during which they will be given a score the highest of which will be a made a saint the lowest will have to try again in four years' time. That is the wizard saint Exam. Not everyone is selected to even view such a prestigious event.
Lucy was shocked to hear the explanation of this from Lisanna when she went to the guild the next day, she couldn't believe that there was so much in the Wizarding world and to think her Natsu could be a wizard saint someday was so outstanding that Lucy couldn't help but feel proud of her boyfriend. She turned and looked at him leaning in the booth with his legs propped up and his scarf covering his face as he slumbered with Happy talking to Cana about somethings.
"You know had Natsu not come with us on that mission 2 years ago, I would have died" Lisanna ended up going into detail about what happened 2 years ago. She told Lucy about the mission where she and her siblings had to go free a village from a monster and how when Elfman tried to do a takeover, the monster was able to gain control of the shared mind. Lisanna went into detail and told Lucy that she had stepped in the way of an attack meant for her older sister and was about to take it when Happy used a transformation spell and was able to turn into a Liger- half lion half tiger- and was able to get her away in time and then Natsu dropped down and ended the fight with one blow.
Lucy listened and realized all the stories revolving around Natsu and pretty much all Fairy Tail mages were true, "So if they hadn't come when they did, you would be dead and I am only speculating here, but your sister would have retired from active duty huh" Lisanna merely nodded and looked at the two of them at the back, "I owe them big time and I did fall for Natsu but he would always talk about you so I did my research on you and dragons and I found out that even if I wanted him... I could never have him his heart and soul belongs to you and yours belong to him" Lucy smiled and looked at her two boys.
The guild doors slammed open and some citizen ran in shouting " THEY ARE HERE, THE SHE-DEVILS OF FAIRY TAIL ARE BACK" Lucy was confused and was shocked when everyone started to run and hide, she looked at Lisanna and saw her smiling happily and decided to remain quiet, she went and sat next to Natsu who felt her presence and laid his head in her lap and purred which made Lucy giggle and stroke his head softly. Happy and Cana looked at the door and shrunk not wanting to get hurt from what was about to come.
The ground seemed to rumble and the doors were blasted from it's hinges, the door went right through the guild and into the back and two ladies stepped in. One had silver long hair tied into a ponytail, her outfit could be considered outlandish, it was a skirt that ended right above her knees which were red in colour, her belly could be seen and she was wearing a tank top which was black, on her hand was some accessories and she wore a pair of knee-high black boots, this is Mirajane a contender for wizard saint and an S-class mage of fairy tail.
The other girl was a scarlet hair girl, blue skirt with black boots and an armoured plating top, this is Erza scarlet another contender for Wizard saint and an S-class mage, they seemed to be in a bit of heated verbal battle when they heard a loud purr and they turned to see Natsu acting like a child cuddling up to his mate. The two demonesses where shocked to see someone had actually tamed the boy they viewed as a brother.
"Nuuu Lushyy stroke my head more pleaseeee" Lucy gulped and prodded Natsu, he grumbled and sat back up and yawned and looked at everyone and was wondering what happened he saw Mirajane and Erza and tilted his head "Why did everyone stop it's only Fatty and fatty'' he snickered and kissed Lucy before bolting out of the gym shouting back at Mira and Erza "come on fatties try catching me if you can" he slapped his ass as a taunt and waited to see what would happen.
Everyone in the guild had to pick their jaws off the ground after what they heard, you could hear the creaking of the hinges due to the dead silence and both the girls had their faces covered and two tick marks showed up "Oh Natsu" they said in a sickly sweet voice and they took a step towards him "Come here so we can kill you".
A day like this was one that every guild member would cherish, Natsu running away from his two angry older sister figures, Lucy smiling contently watching the guild and Natsu, Gray looking at a picture of someone who got taken from him and so on, little did they know... days of peace were ending.

The town of Moltis is located near a large dormant volcano, long ago there was a story of a great demon bird by the name of Rodan, the story states that this bird settled in the town of Moltis and used the volcano as it's home the demon protected the land and the people that settled there because unlike other demons, this one gained sympathy for them and vowed to spend it's life protecting and caring for the humans around the town.
The great Rodan became known as Fire Guardian Saint of Moltis, and was praised as a God by the people, for years and centuries to come, the Saint protected them until one day it disappeared, no one knows why or how it disappeared all they know is whoever steps foot in the volcano finds themselves lost in the many caverns made by Rodan, hence the volcano is kept on lockdown by the townspeople.
Neo found himself staring up at the huge volcano 'So that's the great Moltis volcano huh, I wonder what secrets those walls have, I'll have to check late at night' As Neo passed an alley he saw two men trying to rape a young girl, he watched a few people pass by and not even look and he heard the men say " Scream all you want, you know you women belong to us mages of the Izanagi Guild", Neo's eyes narrowed 'Izanagi Guild?', the girl was crying for help and he sprung into action, he finished the men off by knocking both of them into the walls and tied them up, he looked at the girl she looked no older than 9 years old at most and he almost puked in disgust at the fact that men would try something so heinous against a child.
Neo walked up to the young girl and crouched on his heels and put his hands under her chin slowly, he pulled out a piece of cloth and wipe her tears away "Shh it's okay young one they wont hurt you now", the girl looked at him as she wiped her nose and face and nodded in a cute fashion, she saw he had a kind smile on his face and she hugged his neck afraid of being caught by those men again. Neo had never felt this emotion before, sure he felt the need to protect and defend but this was different. He felt the urge to protect this young girl from the world, as though if he saw her tears again he would shred the world to keep her from crying. After she had cried on his shoulders, she took Neo to a cafe nearby and he waited for her to speak and introduce herself.
The young girl took a minute before she softly spoke "Thank you for saving me I am Hana", Neo smiled and rubbed her head in an affectionate way "It's a pleasure to meet you Hana I'm Neo" the young girl smiled at him and he took off his chain blades and left his two swords on his back, he set the chain blade down and ordered some food for them. He hated what he was about to say but he had to know why a group of men would want a little child and why did the people not try to stop them.
Hana ended up telling him everything, how the Izanagi Guild came to their town and acted as saviours when they were in debt, the master of the guild saved the town and paid off all the debts and bought all the businesses back and gave it to the townspeople, but in exchange, he forced the mayor of the town into allowing the guild to stroll into town whenever they wanted to pillage and rape any woman and take whatever they wanted. Hana told Neo that the Mayor's hands were tied that they couldn't afford to contact the magic council for help or any of the guild's for protection. Neo knew something else was wrong and she told him how her mother had sacrificed herself to be a toy for the guild If they stayed away from the town, that she left the town 5 years ago and now that the guild has come to take more people, it means her mom is either dead or is of no use to them. The entire time Neo listened he only got angrier and angrier but kept his calm.
A shockwave rocked the cafe and everyone was in a state of panic, Hana's eyes dilated almost as if she knew something had come for her, she gripped her head and started to shake afraid of what would happen. Neo got up and tied his belt around his waist, he took off his coat and put it on her and told one of the waitresses to stay with her while he went out, Hana looked at him in awe as it seemed nothing bothered him she wondered how he was so fearless when she got a glimpse of his imperial dragon guild sigil. Neo stepped out and saw a huge crowd of men cackling as they spoke to what he assumed was the mayor.
"Kakakaka Step aside old man, a few of our men didn't come back which means every woman in this town is ours for the taking," a bald-headed Goliath-like man said, the mayor was an old man clearly in his 70's by the looks of his graying almost bald head, he was on his knees pleading with the man to not do what he was about to do and before the big man could hurt the mayor, Neo blocked the blade with his bare hands "Don't you know it's disrespectful to harm the elderly" The bald man was shocked, Neo cocked his right fist back and channelled some heat into the fist, he launched it into a straight punch right at the man's temple and he fell like a sack of potatoes and stopped breathing.
"Henma... He killed Henma with one hit" One of the men said in shock as they looked at Neo "Listen up you trash" Neo said as he crossed his arms and glared at the men "While I stand on this town I swear none of you will have free reign to do as you please, if you want free access come face me and meet your death. I am Neo Ignatious Clive, son of Kladeon Clive and I am a Explosion/Sun Dragon slayer. If any of you think you can face me step forward and meet your death, if not I suggest you run back to your bitch of a master and tell him who I am because I will find him and impale his skull on this blade of mine and liberate this town from your Guild's tyranny you have been warned" Neo crossed his arms and waited to see what actions the men would take.
One of the men had his eyes widen as he remembered that name and one by one the all ran away in fear. The town's people looked at Neo in awe as he bent down and lifted the mayor to his feet "Old man go and have your men form a wall around the town and I promise you by the end of this month I will see to it that this town is free from the Izanagi Guild."
The town was in joy at what happened and Neo was viewed as a hero but he didn't want to be seen as a hero, he just wanted to the right thing and give the town the strength to fight back. Little did they know that by the time Neo left the town, he would've done some amazing things for them that would ensure they stayed safe for generations to come.
"Erigor huh," Natsu said as he had his hands on his chin, Lucy was sitting next to him and caressing happy's fur as he slumbered on her lap. Erza and Mira were discussing the upcoming mission with Gray and Natsu.
"But what is so great about this Lullaby flute anyways, it's not like it can bring about the apocalypse or anything... Can it?". An eerie silence developed in the group, they knew how bad Lullaby is especially if someone of Erigor's caliber is after it.
Erigor is a dark mage of the Eisenwald Guild, he uses wind magic and carries a big scythe, he is known as the Shinigami or Death God. Natsu stood up and cracked his back and neck and yawned and said "Sitting here won't do anything, let's go home and figure out what to do tomorrow morning, I'll be at the train station with Lucy at 8am" With that Lucy, Natsu and Happy left to go home.

"What did you say" A figure of a very built man asked as he sat on his chair and looked up from the table, he glared at the men in front of him daring them to continue their report.
"He said if you want the town you had to go yourself sir" One of the men screamed and cowered deathly afraid of his master.
The man simply glared and waved his hand indicating he didn't want to be disturbed.

The town of Moltis had a party because of what Neo had done, but he knew that Izanagi would come in full force, the question is when and would he be ready for it. Everyone had fallen asleep and the Mayor had so kindly allowed Neo and Hana to stay in his guest house. The entire town was dead quiet except for the security guards, Neo had perched himself on top of the guest house and jumped into an alleyway and started to make his way to the volcano 'Why am I getting this feeling, what secrets are you hiding' he thought as he dashed towards the forest, he stopped as he heard a few people talking about what had happened earlier.
Neo silently made his way past them and continued running, he had a good 7 hours before he had to be back at the guest house. Neo made it to the volcano and saw it had a huge boulder rolled in front of the entrance but there seemed to be an opening big enough for a person, he slowly made his way in and light his hand on fire with his magic to light up the entrance. As he walked through the volcano he saw lots of hieroglyphics depicting the story of the land and of Rodan.
"During the times of old, the town that is now considered the town of Moltis sat upon the land of fertile soil.
This soil was so fertile due to the volcanic ash and lava that many tried to grow exotic crops.
But for some reason the crops would burn the person who ate it, and hence no one grew crops on the cursed land. Until, the settlers of the town of Moltis had a natural immunity towards to the soil and grew amazing crops that gave them vitality and boosts in physical attributes"
The texts stopped there and a huge crack was in the way plus there was a part that was missing, but it wasn't too important since it only told of the land's history. Neo moved on to the next part which told of when and what Rodan did for the land.
"The year is X566, the skies are darkening for some reason and suddenly out of a plume of dark ash, a great big black bird-like demon emerges. the people are scared and run to take shelter and hope that the creature will pass but it decides to stay and finds a home in the Volcano of Moltis.
No one dares to get near to the Volcano or to Rodan in fear of what it will do to the town"
"Tch" Neo clicked his tongue in annoyance when he saw the text ended again, he moved forward and continued reading and something caught his eye, it wasn't the texts although he was going to make sure to read everything. No what caught his eye was that the Volcano looked like it had been dug into almost as if someone had been here recently.
The marks on the ground made it seem like that there was some type of machinery inside the Volcano, this was definitely strange. Neo could feel the sun was about to come up and he was amazed that it took so long for him to interpret the markings on the Volcano wall. He snuck out and back into the guest house and he figured he might as well ask the mayor to come with him that way he can have a better understanding of whats going on with this town and why Izanagi would want to harm them.

After Lucy had arrived at Magnolia she wanted to get her own place but at the same time she had wanted to live with Natsu, and Natsu did have a cabin in the woods so they decided for the time being they would live in the cabin until they had done a few missions and then they would move to a townhouse that was closer to the guildhall. For the first time in what seemed like forever, waking up in the morning for these two was a very happy occasion, the reason being they found each other snuggled up and tangled together under the blanket and they felt love bloom between them. This particular morning however Natsu was already up and dressed and staring out the window, something he failed to mention to everyone was that he had a run-in with an Eisenwald member awhile back but he didn't think too much of it at that time.
'Could it really be that Lullaby, but if it is how were they able to get ahold of it, wasn't it meant to be locked up in the Volcano of Moltis' Natsu thought and for some reason he thought about his cousin and something inside him told him that he was going to see his cousin very soon. He felt a pair of soft arms wrap around his torso and nuzzle his neck "What's got you worked up" Natsu smiled softly and held Lucy close to his side, "Just promise me you'll stay close to either me or Erza on this mission, I know Gray is strong but if I'm right and I'm very rarely wrong, Gray won't be able to fight much on this mission"
Lucy looked at him with concern but nodded, she went and got dressed in a blue skirt, white top with a cross on it, brown boots and a whip on his side, she tied her hair in a ponytail and walked out to see Happy and Natsu waiting at the door for her. Happy smiled and flew into her arms and wrapped his tail around her neck and perched himself on her shoulder, she took Natsu's hand and the three of them were off to the train station.
"I'm all fired up"Natsu shouted in a goofy fashion as the three walked and Lucy and Happy laughed at him, Natsu joined them in laughing and the three filled themselves with laughter as they walked.

"Son I don't think-" Neo stopped the Mayor with a glare and said in a calm manner that put the old man on edge "Sir with all due respect if i wanted I could walk into that Volcano and none of you could stop me, I'm asking you because I need to know... Was anyone else inside that Volcano is there someone else who I need to look out for"
the mayor shook his head and looked at Neo with a hopeful and sad look "Please son if you feel you can solve the mystery that lies inside that volcano please do so, but I can assure you no one in this town has ever entered that Volcano" Neo thought for awhile and nodded and looked at Hana who was looking at her hands as they had a dim light emitting for it, he smiled and nodded.
"Alright for now I'm going to teach her magic and see if I can help anyone else release their magic as well" the old mayor smiled and nodded.
The town of Moltis was going to change that very night, for Neo would find something eerie, something that must never have been found... or so the ancient legend says.
Looks like our heroes are on two different missions, one to stop an evil guild and the other to find the mystery that lies beneath the seemingly peaceful town. What will happen, will they be successful in their endeavours or will they succumb to the darkness that is being poured out.
