Sadly it's been confirmed Cemetery Wind has killed Dino and Sideswipe. (Y/N) She struggles more than the others, knowing her best friends are dead — even if she has several friends trying to support her, but they discover how serious a mental decline (Y/N) has taken. Can anything be done to save her, or is it too late?

Warning: severe depression, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm.

Another One-shot with songs;
Forever
My final chapter

both songs by Serenity.

Ironhide's P.O.V.
It's been a month since we returned from China. Cemetery Wind is terminated, but we are still targets along with Cade and likely (Y/N). While it's scrap, it's not as bad as the note we got. Unfortunately (Y/N) was the one who read the note first.

You may have terminated Cemetery Wind, but a stronger group will emerge to terminate the rest of you worthless invaders. It's been a pleasure killing Dino and Sideswipe. I heard that they were close to (Y/N). Don't worry; the rest of you invaders will join them soon.

— Harold Attinger

The scream we heard before she cried still plays in my processor. No one could believe how rapidly her mental state declined to the point I found her in a pool of her own blood one day. It's a struggle to get her to eat. We've caught her cutting herself a couple of times. There's been a few nights (Y/N) have had nightmares. I was watching her the first time this happened. My spark ached when she told me the nightmare was about Dino and Sideswipe being killed.
We take turns watching her overnight and recharging. It was my turn and thankfully (Y/N) slept all night. I wonder if she thinks it's a dream Dino and Sideswipe are dead, and she'll wake up to the two of them in her room?
We made sure to remove any weapons. Cade goes through the room once (Y/N) is asleep. Though there are not that many places to hide a weapon. It's enough to at least give her privacy as she dresses.

Ratchet's P.O.V.
Even though I'm a doctor and have watched several Autobots die from injuries during the war, it's not easy to watch. Add now, I have a patient who wants to be dead. We're not at the point where we have to force (Y/N) to see me every morning, but we've hit the point where she doesn't talk to me, or — when she does talk — it's anger and guilt. Ironhide tells me via comlink (Y/N) refused to eat before bringing her to me.
I try to get (Y/N) to talk, but it's a challenge. The room is silent for ten minutes before I hear her stomach growling.
"Why aren't you eating?"
"Because I'm not hungry! It's as simple as that!"
"Are you sure because—?"
"Yes, I am. Now drop it."
"(Y/N), you know you can—."
"Oh, come on. It is too early in the morning to talk about how I'm garbage."
"(Y/N), you are not garbage. I know it's hard to deal with knowing Dino and Sideswipe are gone—."
"You think this is easy for me!? It's absolutely breaking me apart! I can't do this anymore!"
"Look, we don't care; we still love you exactly the same. We are trying to help you."
"You know, I wish that could be enough. But no matter how much you accept me, it doesn't mean I do. There are some days where I wish I never existed, so I understand if you give up on me, and I don't blame you."
I let (Y/N) leave. On cue, Prime comes in asking how my appointment with (Y)N) went.
"I fear (Y/N) is like our friend, Jamie; this can't be cured but rather tamed."
Prime sighs, "at least Jamie isn't at this point...yet. I'm glad she has a mission and isn't here."
It saddens me to hear Prime think (Y/N) would bring Jamie down rather than the two girls helping each other.

(Y/N)' s P.O.V.
I return to my room, slamming the door shut behind me, and sit on my bed. There's nothing that makes me happy now, but I listen to a few songs on repeat.

Far away you fly
Your soul is in the sky
There's nothing left that brings you back to me
You've reached out my mind
You've lost a painful fight
Now follow him into the underworld
I'm sad and down
Tears running down my face

* You'll never be anybody, don't you get that? People don't care about you, and they never will! Don't you see how they're lying to you? You really are the scum of the Earth. You know you're weak.*

I know the voice in my head speaks the truth.

I'm waiting every day, but I know you'll never come
Forever your eyes will be closed
The endless fear has gone, after darkness comes, the sun
Forever salvation has come
Forever you'll be gone
Afraid to call your name
I feel an endless pain.

I know what I have to do.

Ratchet's P.O.V.
Crosshairs and I go check on (Y/N). It's been six hours, but we make sure there are no weapons in her room, and she can be left alone for a while. We thought we thought of everything until we didn't find (Y/N). All we found is a note with a bloody fingerprint.
"Frag!" Crosshairs exclaims before running out of the room. (Y/N) found a weapon. I dread reading the note.

Autobots and Cade,
Thanks for trying to help me, but one day you will realize I'm a lost cause. I might as well save you the trouble telling me to get lost. I can't take this pain anymore. I'm sorry you couldn't help me. I've heard you guys know another human who's struggling. Help them instead, goodbye.

Oh, frag, how long ago did you sneak off (Y/N)?

Optimus splits us up; Ironhide and I are to stay and search for anything that could tell us where (Y/N) went, while Bee, Hound, and Cade take a left on the road when we exit the property. Drift and Prime go right.
"This is my fault; I should have stayed with her," Ironhide regrets.
"She would have found a way..."
Our search for clues is successful but also disturbing.
"She drew a cliff with her own blood."
"This could mean she poked her finger," I point out.
"Or she used blood from a serious wound!"
"We have to tell the others."
I dread making sure I have what I need if the others bring a seriously injured (Y/N).
