(Y/D) and Starscream are sparkmates; (Y/D) keeps him in line, but sometimes she needs to get him out of trouble. Starscream has been keeping it secret he wants to have a sparkling with (Y/D) until he accidentally blurts it out. (Y/D) cleverly makes him repeat himself until they try to get sparked.

Being sparkmates with Starscream is never dull. His desire to overthrow Megatron and be the Decepticon leader always gets him into trouble. (Y/D) either has to tell Starscream what he's plotting will get him into trouble or get him out of trouble by begging forgiveness from Megatron. It's not perfect, though. When Starscream wanted to declare Megatron dead, (Y/D) raged at him; Starscream hopes never to see that side of her again. Knockout and the other soldiers mock him, saying he's terrified of (Y/D), while Starscream knows he's getting soft. Don't believe he no longer wants to be the leader of the Decepticons, but he's not as he used to be. Some days he's even amazed a femme fell for him and that he let her in his life.
Starscream has been keeping his desire to have a sparkling with (Y/D) a secret. He's more afraid she'll say no than Megatron, angry there's going to be a sparkling on the ship. Every day he thinks today he'll bring up the subject but quickly thinks, 'what if she says no?'. His frustration builds up as the days pass and the tailed attempts add up.
Starscream releases his frustration as anger (Y/D) sees him terrorize the crew, injuring a few.
"Starscream! What the frag are you doing?!"
The seeker is not pleased his sparkmate caught him.
"Well, I..um..."
He drops the crew member he was beating but doesn't run away like he would had Megatron been the one who caught him. He feels more sadness than fear that (Y/D) caught him. (Y/D) grabs him by the wrist and forces him to follow her back to their berthroom.
he forces him to sit on the beth.
"What the frag is wrong with you?!" she scolds, "why are you attacking the soldiers?!"
Starscream hates he infuriated (Y/D), "no, seriously, what the frag is wrong with you?! EXPLAIN NOW!"
(Y/D) wasn't expecting Starscream to go on a rant, realizing he needs to be pushed to talk about what's on his processor more often.
"...and I want to have a sparkling with you, I want to start a family, but have been too afraid to tell you!"
"I'm sorry, what was that?"
"I'm tired of the soldiers mocking me," Starscream repeats.
"No, no after that, baby," she teases, knowing Starscream knows the Earth term for sparkling, and she's never called him 'baby' before.
"I want to be the leader of the Decepticons!"
Starscream now realizes what (Y/D) is trying to do, but he's still terrified of how the conversation will go if he admits what he wants.
"Leader of the family, how cute." she coos, "I do think of the crew as family, considering how much time we're together on the ship, but you know what would be great? A family of our own," she says as she sits on the berth, takes Starscream's servos, and looks deeply into his optics.
"Fine! I want us to have a sparkling!" Starscream finally admits.
(Y/D) smiles, "why didn't you say something sooner, grumpy? You know what? I think you need to relax for a while."
The two lay on the berth, staring into each other's optics. (Y/D) is more focused on getting Starscream to calm down and would bring up trying for a sparkling a little later...
"You know what? since you now know, why wait?" Starscream asks as he moves on top of (Y/D); with her legs between his, "You didn't scold me for saying I want to start a family, so you must want it as well."
(Y/D) pulls him in for a kiss as the two remove each other's interface panels. (Y/D) discovers Starscream has been dealing with his heat cycle, adding to his frustration. She knows Starscream told the truth when he said he wants a sparkling, but he also needs relief from this pain. She tries to help him, but Starscream has her pinned down; she can't even reach to grab his spike.
"I'm in charge here!"
Any other femme would be pissed, but (Y/D) knows he's looking to relieve his pain and make sure they're going to have a sparkling. Starscream knows he should be taking it slow, no matter how much pain he's in, no matter how much he wants to frag (Y/D) and get her sparked. He tries to be patent and get (Y/D) wet in there first.
He lasts ten minutes before needing to go in her, though he goes in slowly. It's not their first time, but while he wants to get (Y/D) sparked, he doesn't want to hurt her. Even as he moves slowly, the pain begins to fade. Now, all there is left is to hope (Y/D) gets sparked. (Y/D) wonders how Starscream will fair for the next three weeks as it'll be too soon to know? And how will he react if she's not sparked? For now, Starscream seems to be enjoying her moans of pleasure. He waits a few minutes before picking up speed, which (Y/D) didn't expect. Her moaning becomes louder, which pleases the seeker. He keeps this going for a while — believing the longer he does this, the more likely (Y/D) will get sparked. The two have a nice makeout session when Starscream decides he's done enough.
(Y/D) didn't think Starscream would worry she's sick with the cybertronian flu or worse when she starts throwing up.
"Where is that doctor?!" He rages.
"Starscream, I'm fine," she tries to assure him.
"Throwing up is not fine!"
"Starscream, we talked about this. What did I say there weeks ago?"
(Y/D) loves the big smile on Starscream's face.
"Yeah, you two are going to have a sparking," Knockout confirms, trying to hide his concern. Megatron will be furious.
"A sparkling on my ship?!" Megatron rages, causing (Y/D), Knockout, and Starscream to panic. Megatron laughs at their reaction, "you two need to relax; congratulations."
Megatron walks away silently, laughing. The war tyrant would normally be livid, but as Starscream has become soft, Megatron has a soft spot for (Y/D). He'll make sure (Y/D) is safe and the sparkling when they arrive.
His only concern is how to keep (Y/D) safe and not to limit her.
"A little sparking on my ship; how exciting," he smiles.
