Ultra Magnus becomes too overprotective of (Y/N) to the point she's stressed. Ratchet has Prime talk to him. Magnus does his best to lay back on the safety precautions. Later he dreads watching (Y/N) struggle to deliver the baby, and the two agree no more kids...

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.
After one final check from Ratchet, I am clear to go back to my room. Magnus is still worried about a miscarriage happening, but it's been sixteen hours. From the book I've been reading, my body would have wanted to get the baby out by now. Still, he'd argue how I'm only three months pregnant.

It's fine letting Magnus take care of me and only getting up to use the bathroom for the first two days, but he forbids me from leaving the room, even though Ratchet said using the wheelchair is fine. The kids try to help, but Magnus chooses to be an aft towards them. Optimus and Ratchet find out and scold him.
"While things could have been worse, it was an accident," Optimus says, "we will do our best to keep (Y/N) safe."
Magnus is still not pleased but lets Miko wheel me out of the room. The kids and bots already prepared a temporary ramp so I can get to the kids' lounge area.

It's still challenging to get Magnus to relax s little, and it's worse once my ankle heals. I wouldn't mind if I had to continue using the wheelchair, but he's trying to put me back on bed rest to the point Ratchet has to come to the room for my appointments. I tell him not to worry, but it gets worse as the months go on. Magnus gets more strict and protective.

Time skip

Ratchet's P.O.V.
"This isn't healthy, (Y/N), I can tell you're getting stressed, and you're only seven months pregnant. I don't want you to go into labor early due to stress. That could have complications versus if your body decided to go into labor on its own tomorrow."
I go to talk to Prime.

"It's not abuse; there's nothing I can do," Prime tells me.
"Not abuse?! (Y/N) is stressed! Afraid Magnus will tell her she's doing something "dangerous"!"
"I will talk to him."

Optimus Prime's P.O.V.
I don't blame Magnus; he could have watched (Y/N) deliver their baby only for it to die, but this is unacceptable.
"I know what could have happened, but you could have (Y/N) continue to use the wheelchair. Telling her to stay in your room is not ok. You know we are doing our best to keep her safe."

Ultra Magnus' P.O.V.
I go to our room, seeing (Y/N) on the bed.
"How are you doing today?" I ask.
"Tired, and this one is trying to kick their way out," she replies.
(Y/N) isn't kidding as I feel her belly.
"I order you to stop!"
This gets (Y/N) to laugh.
I ask her if she wants to go on our last date before the baby is born. I hate how she hesitated; worried about what Safety precautions I'll have, but she agrees.

Five weeks later

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.
I'm thirty-five weeks pregnant. We know this baby can come any day now.
I'm woken up by pain that seems too intense for the beginning of labor. I thought it was a stomach ache. The pain quickly fades but retunes forty minutes later. I sit at the edge of the bed, feeling my belly. I'm in labor, but this isn't normal for the beginning of labor. I walk around the room for a while.

"Mag—." I try to say, but the pain returns; I slowly get onto the floor. He wakes up and sees my water breaking as I sit on the floor.
"Are you ok?!"
"I didn't pee this time," I pant, "Oh fuck, I think it's time!"
And the baby didn't flip yet. How did I sleep until now?
He helps me to the medbay and gets Ratchet.

"The baby is on its side impossible to deliver vaginally, and I don't think we have time to get her to hospital," Ratchet explains, "she's already seven centimeters. I can try to flip the baby."
"Do it," I pant while dealing with a contraction.
I'm not ruining my birth plan any more than it is. I want pain-free, but there's no time to get an epidural and wait for it to kick in before trying to flip the baby.

Optimus Prime's P.O.V.
We all were aware we could hear screaming at two in the morning as (Y/N) gets closer to her due date.

I go to the medbay and see Ratchet doing something which is causing so much pain for (Y/N). He wouldn't do something that wasn't necessary. By now, everyone is awake and around me.
"Something is wrong," Smokescreen frets.
"I think she's in labor," Arcee says, "but I don't think this is normal."
"It could be a while. Everyone back to your rooms," I instruct and go to my room, hoping everything will be ok.

Ultra Magnus's P.O.V.
I can't believe labor is this painful and trying to flip the baby hurts (Y/N). I know Ratchet is trying to keep (Y/N)'s birth plan and would refuse if there was an unsolvable problem, but this hurts watching.

The baby flips; Ratchet prepares to put an epidural in.
"Ratchet, I need to push!" She yells as Ratchet sets up.
He lays her down, "she's ready," he says, "and in too much pain to wait."
He gets other supplies as I sit by (Y/N). I hold her hand as she tries to hold off pushing until Ratchet is ready.
"Ugh fuck I can't wait!" She screams and presses her chin to her chest.
Ratchet gets the supplies and sits in front of the bed. (Y/N) doesn't know I've read the pregnancy book she has; I know being in this much pain now is not good.

It's a long ten minutes, and we do not see the head yet. Damn it, twenty minutes to the hospital; she could end up delivering in the back of Ratchet's alt mode, but I hate this pain.
She's in too much pain to walk around and try to bring the baby down. The best she can do is squatting while holding on to a bar Ratchet can attach to the bed.
"Come on, (Y/N), push," Ratchet encourages. He's not concerned, but how long before we have a problem? (Y/N) screams as she pushes.

Another ten minutes pass before the head is delivered. (Y/N) lays on the bed and continues to push. She's exhausted, but the baby is born within ten minutes.
"It's a (boy/girl)," Ratchet says over the crying baby.
I watch (Y/N) pass out...or did she die?
Ratchet puts the baby on her chest and cleans the baby.
"She's exhausted, but she'll be ok," he says.
He sits on the chair by the bed.
I finish cleaning the baby, wrap them up and hold them. Before I sit down, I see something else come out of (Y/N).
"Did you read that pregnancy book?" Ratchet asks, "it's the afterbirth; completely normal."

It's a long hour before (Y/N) wakes up. Ratchet says she's ok and leaves the room.
"Babe, I know it's probably bad to say this right now, but I don't think we should have any more kids. I hate all the pain you were in," I tell her.
She tiredly agreed as she feeds the baby.

Ratchet's P.O.V.
It's six in the morning, but everybot is awake, worried.
"It was a hard delivery (Y/N), and the baby (boy/ girl) are fine," I tell them, "let her rest and the family bond for a while."
They all smile before finding something to do until they can visit (Y/N) and the baby.
