He opened the doors and got out only to see red coats and guns pointed at them. Faye and Carmella had stepped out after him with Gibbs still in the doorway.
"All part of the plan...yes?" Gibbs said sarcastically.
"Not helping," Carmella muttered.
Jack was turning around before the red coat in front of him hit him in the back of the head with the butt of the gun. He fell forward and into the arms of the Gibbs. The two girls had quickly moved out of the way. "No," He groaned in response to the comment.
"Take the girls, they're coming along," shouted a soldier as he paid the driver. Multiple men had grabbed the girls. The three were dragged through the palace and to a dining hall. Shackles were put on all of the prisoners as they were forced into chairs and left alone.
"Well this is a fine mess we're in," Carmella mutters.
Jack wasn't saying anything as he looked around the room. Making plans in his head for a way to escape, until his eyes landed on the pastries on the table. He started to scoot his chair closer to the table.
"Uncle Jack!" Faye hissed under her breath as she made the chairs rise with her wind power and plopped it down next to him.
"What are you thinking!" Carmella growled.
He was reaching for a pastry when the doors started to open. He quickly kicked the table from underneath that caused the pastry to roll towards him. He quickly kicked the pastry into the air before he leaned back as if nothing happened.
Carmella was trying to hold her laughter in and keeping a straight face but it was proving difficult. Faye briefly looks up to see that it was stuck on the Chandelier. She shook her head with a small sigh before looking at the soldier once more.
The girl's eyed the man who was coming in and had placed himself into the golden throne-like chair. The king of England.
"You are Jack Sparrow, " A man asked from beside the king.
"There should be a Captain somewhere in there," Jack responded with a toothy grin. Carmella and Faye rolled their eyes.
"I have heard of you, and you know who I am," The King said.
"The face is familiar, have I threatened you before?" Jack asked.
"Jack, I'm pretty sure you would know if you have threatened him before," Carmella muttered.
"The 'Glorious King' ," Faye spat at him.
"You are in the presence of George Augustus, Duke of Brunswick Lumbergh, Arch Treasurer, Prince Elector of the Holy Roman Empire, King of Great Britain and Ireland and of you." Said another man.
Carmella snorted at the idea that this man had any control of her or her sister.
"Doesn't ring a bell," Jack said with a slightly tilted head. A laugh was heard from Carmella, though she got a stern look from Faye.
"I am informed that you have come to London to procure a crew for your ship," The king said.
"Tis a rumor, not true," Jack said as he waved his hand and it gave off a little rattle. .
"Then you lied to me when you told me you were Jack Sparrow," King George said as he waved his hand around like it held a glass of wine.
"I am Jack Sparrow, but I'm not here to procure a crew, that is someone else," Jack stated as he kept rattling the chains that held him.
"Ah. Someone else named Jack Sparrow," The king muttered before turning to the man on his left. "You brought me the wrong wastrel, along with these two….wenches, find the proper one and dispose of this impostor. "
"Wait, wait, wait. Hold on," Jack said before leaning in. "I'm Jack Sparrow, the one and only, and I am in London," He then got distracted by the chains as he pulled on them.
"To procure a crew, to undertake a voyage to find the-" The king began to say before getting annoyed by the sound. 'Someone please remove these infernal chains, and take the women's off as well." A couple of Red Coats came forward to remove the chains from the trio.
"We know you are in possession of a map," Said the man on the right of the king.
"Confiscate the map," Said the man to the left. "And to the gallows with them,"
The soldiers who had taken off the chains were coming back to them before the King asked, "Do you have a map."
Jack felt around in his shirt but found nothing so he mutters," No."
Carmella and Faye raised a brow at his answer.
"Where is it?" Said the man on the right.
"The truth?" he said before standing up. "I lost it. Quite recently in fact." He then came up to the table to look at the food.
"I have a report that the Spanish located the Fountain of Youth. I will NOT have some MELANCHOLY SPANISH MONARCH. A CATHOLIC. GAIN ETERNAL LIFE!" The king said as he banged away at the table. Every time the king had his fist on the table, Jack reeled back his hand as he tried to take a few pieces of food. He finally nabbed a fruit and popped it into his mouth when the guy on the right side of the king asked.
"You do know the way to the fountain, yes?"
"Of course I do, the girls do as well," Jack said as he motioned to the two who were still seated. "Look at me."
"You can guide an expedition," Said the man to the left. Jack was moving around once more as he had a napkin in his hand. He had moved a chair a bit as he did so.
"With your permission, your hiney, you will be providing then a ship and a crew," Jack asked as he threw the napkin behind him.
"And a Captain," The king said as he leaned back as the tapping of a peg leg sauntered in. From the doorway stood Barbossa in British attire. He bowed to the King, a smile on his face.
Carmella and Faye gasped as they saw their father figure that they hadn't seen in five years. "Afternoon Sire," He said charmingly .Jack stood up and glared at him. "If I may be so bold, why is that man not in chains?" He hobbled over to the table. "He must be manacled at once."
"In the center of my palace, hardly," The king said pompously.
"Hector," Jack said as he sauntered his way over. "How it is nice to see a fellow pirate make good of himself."
"Pirate? Nay, Privateer." He corrected him. The words had stung Carmella and Faye as they stayed quiet. "On a sanctioned mission under the authority and protection of the crown."
"As it may be, first, what has become of my beloved Pearl," Jack said as he was now in front of him.
"I lost the Pearl as I lost my leg,' Barbossa said as he brought his peg leg onto the table, which made the girls gasp.
"Lost the Pearl?" Jack said with a straight face.
"Aye, I defended her mighty enough. She was sunk," Barbossa said. That ticked Jack off as he tried to get onto the table to launch himself at Barbossa but was apprehended by the Redcoats and was dragged back and away.
"If that ship sunk properly, you should be sunk with it," Jack spat.
"Jack went down with it the first time, it proves that he is a proper captain," Carmella said vindictively before looking away.
"Captain Barbossa, each second we tarry, the Spanish out distances us. I have every confidence that you will prevail and will be rewarded with the highest station you desire," The king said.
"To serve will suffice Sire," Barbossa said as he bowed once more.
Carmella leaned over to Faye, "Did he sound sarcastic to you," She asked. Faye gave her a yes through a small wind that only went to her ear.
"You sir, have stooped," Jack said with malice.
"Jack, our sands all but run. Where's the harm in joining the winning side, and you do meet a nicer class of person," Barbossa replied but winced slightly at the disappointed yet angry faces that the girls had given him.
"I understand everything," Jack said as he moved around slightly. "All but that wig," He then quickly rammed his fist down to the men's stomach which released him from their hold. He looked up at the pastry before turning to the guards once more. He grabbed hold of the guns and pointed them upwards as they shot the Chandelier. The chandelier moves around as he fought off the soldiers. He then climbed up onto the table and as he tried to maneuver, he kicked a platter into one of their faces. He proceeded to run down the table length before jumping off and hiding behind a chair.
As Uncle Jack was distracting everyone, Carmella had snagged two pastries from off the table before making her way to Faye. Faye quickly used her wind powers to move them up and onto the balcony above them. There, they waited for Jack as Carmella handed Faye a stolen pastry.
Jack lifted the chair he was hiding behind and threw it at the window. He stood there as he grabbed the curtain rope. A soldier charged at him before slipping on the napkin that Jack dropped and was flung out of the window while grabbing the rope. This launched Jack into the air and he landed on the edges of the decorations of the room. He leaped forward and took a hold of the chandelier and swung to the other side, grabbing the pastry he kicked up there. He let it go before stepping onto the balcony and accompanying the girls.
"Nice,' Carmella said before the three bolted out of there, the soldiers at their heels.
"They escaped?" The King asked in disbelief.
"Leave it to me sire," Barbossa said before getting two thumbs up from the King.
Meanwhile, on the stairway, Jack and the girls had ran past a soldier. Jack flipping the hat off the man's head before the trio ducked behind a table that held gilded candelabras. The soldier left Jack's sword and gun on the table as he had ran by, not knowing the three were behind it.
"Seriously?" Carmella asked but Faye shrugged as they were on the run once more. They ran up another set of stairs before opening the window and looking at the street below. Behind them they heard the footsteps and cries of many soldiers.
