All that's different today is the rescue team will have a meeting about an upcoming event, but why is today so chaotic? Oh, and there are a few guests.
Chase is chasing the trouble-making brothers, Evan and Myles, without his human partner, Chief Burns.
"Stupid robot going to catch us?" Myles mocks and laughs.
The chase continues for a few minutes before the boys trap themselves in a dead-end alleyway. He thinks he has the two boys, but the two sneak under him. The chase continues, and Chase is beginning to worry he'll be late for the meeting,
Kade and Dani are bored and argue as they wait for Chase and begin the meeting."Why do I even have to be here?" Kade asks, annoyed.
"Because you're part of the team," Chief Burns explains, "we're waiting for Chase nd Heatwave. Both are tied in an emergency. Well, Chase is; Heatwave is saving Mister Pettypaws. At this point, it's a daily task, than an emergency."
"Ugh, so glad Heatwave can deal with that alone. Dealing with the cat every single day."
"You suck at your job anyway," Dani mocks.
Great, I hope Chase and Heatwave get back soon. Chief Burns thinks as he sits on the couch.
Blades is tired and pleased there's no emergency he and Dani must deal with. At this point, he has time to take a nap. Blaster and Prowl have also come for the meeting and start talking to Graham about how the team acts daily. Shocked this is nothing new.
"This is actually better than when we all first starting working together," he explains, which concerns Blaster and Prowl.
"Perhaps I need to stay for a while and straighten everyone out," Prowl suggests.
While Graham doesn't know much about Prowl, he already feels that is a bad idea.
"Come here, cat!" Heatwave orders, annoyed.
"Aren't you supposed to be nice to people?" Mrs. Neederlander argues.
"Aren't you supposed to keep a better eye on your cat?"
As if he felt his owner was insulted, Mr. Pettypaws jumps off the tree branch into Mrs. Neederlander's arms and hisses. Mrs. Neederlander sulks and walks into the house.
The meeting seems like a good time compared to this.
Heatwave transforms and drives back to the fire station.
Heatwave returns to the base, not pleased the meeting hasn't started, or better yet, isn't over, and he didn't have to be a part of it. Chase runs in soon after him, tripping down the stairs and swearing human swears. Prowl can't believe this brother is swearing but can guess who has been swearing around Chase.
"Hello, brother," he says as he helps Chase up.
Chase isn't sure what to say.
Oh boy, please don't kill Kade. Jazz prays.
The meeting starts without Prime.
Everyone tries not to talk about how his human sparkmate died three years ago while giving birth to triplets. He also has five-year-old twins to care for. Ratchet blames himself for not saving Prime's sparkmate and still struggles with what happened.
Rather than talk about what happened, the meeting quickly turns into arguing about the subject of the meeting; community day.
Unknown to them, a ground bridge has opened. Skywarp runs through, ready for a fight. He watches the group argue before five little kids run into the room, followed by Prime running after them.
"You know what? This is chaos enough; I'm out."
He runs through the ground bridge before it closes.
