(Y/N) and Bumblebee goes on a mission together, but Starscreen shots the chopper (Y/N) is in down. She's one of the severely injured and will need months of therapy.
"You want to frag now?" (Y/N) asks, "but we're leaving for a mission morrow."
"Oh please, I smell you want this," Bee smiles and shows (Y/N) the condoms.
The two have a little fun before going to bed.
Everyone meets on the helo pad in the back of the base property. The terror twins and Mirage would love to joke, but Bee is already giving them a 'don't even think about it' look. Bee and (Y/N) end up in two different choppers. (Y/N) is with most of the soldiers and Optimus. (Y/N) laughs to herself, thinking the twins and Mirage were looking to joke about how she and Bee will be separated for two hours.
Everything is fine for an hour until the chopper is hit. Everyone knows it's Starscream, but there's nothing they can do but hope the pilots can land the chopper safely. To them, it feels like hours go by before they land. Everyone rushes to get out before the chopper explodes, but not everyone is lucky to get away, including (Y/N). The ones who got away hear screams from people dying in the explosion or in pain from their injuries. The soldiers who can help get the seriously injured away from the fire as carefully as possible. (Y/N) is unconscious and has chopper parts in her left arm, right leg, and abdomen. Optimus calls for a medivac while Epps tries to control the bleeding, knowing it'll be impossible to stop it.
Bee will not like hearing this. Prime frets as he sees how wounded (Y/N) is.
While not typical protocol, Lennox works on getting a chopper to meet the others at the location and take Bee back to the base.
"Why are you here?" One soldier who is with the Autobots asks the chopper pilot.
"Orders to take Bumblebee back to base, sir," the pilot replies, "there's been an accident, and (Y/N) is seriously injured."
Rather than question why the arrangement, the others are worried about why it was made rather than waiting for them to return in two weeks?
"Look, I know the order is to bring Bee back, but I'm coming," Ironhide argues.
The pilot questions why, but he gets his answer quickly after hitting the sky as he hears Bee having an anxiety attack.
"Easy, kid, you know how skilled Jolt and ratchet are," Ironhide tries to assure Bee.
Jolt and Ratchet couldn't believe the horrible condition (Y/N) is in. They already know she's in the worst condition.
Two hours felt like two days to Bee. He rushes down to the medbay with Ironhide and Prime following. They finally grab him.
"Stop, you know she's in surgery," Ironhide argues.
The two mechs can't believe how strong Bee is. They struggle to calm him down.
Epps and Lennox return to report ten soldiers died.
"And (Y/N) will be eleven," Bee adds.
"You don't know that," Optimus tells him
"You know how skilled Jolt and ratchet are," Epps adds, unaware Bee was told this already.
The four mechs sit with Bee as they wait for Ratchet to walk out of the medbay, hoping it's good news.
It's a long ten hours until Ratchet walks out, covered in blood.
"Everyone should recover, but four of the soldiers will need lots of therapy and won't be back on duty for at least six months," Ratchet explains, "most of the pieces hit her abdomen, and a few pieces hit her chest, deep in the rib cage. It was a challenge to remove the pieces, and her hand was a mess. "
Bee wanted to ask if (Y/N) could still have sparklings, but that's the least of his concerns.
I'm glad we wore condoms last night. He thinks.
Bee sits with (Y/N) and waits for her to wake up while Epps, Lennox, and Prime talk to the other soldiers who were wounded. It's hard to tell the others they'll be back on duty, even the other seriously injured, but it's an unknown for (Y/N).
(Y/N) struggles with the news she has a long road to recovery, and it's too soon to know if she'll be able to return to active duty. She doesn't like how long recovery will take. Hearing Prime tell her Bee will have time off until she recovers makes her feel a little better.
Ratchet tells everyone to leave as she needs rest.
"I can tell you want to know what was damaged. Thankfully, only nonvital organs and small portions of ones that can repair themselves. You can still have sparklings." Ratchet explains and smiles before leaving.
This makes (Y/N) fee3l a little better, but she knows an end goal of trying for a baby is illogical.
