Ratchet stays behind with (Y/N). The two talk about plans for the future together and have a little fun, but things don't go as planned.

(Y/N) loves being friends with the Autobots, Jack, Miko, and Raf, but she dreaded the day the Autobots would go home. She didn't tell anyone, knowing it sounds selfish, she doesn't want the Autobots to go home, but she fell in love with one. The grumpy medic, Ratchet, out of all of them. (Y/N) decided when the dreaded day comes, she will not beg Ratchet to stay. Little did she know Ratchet was already thinking if the Autobots ever get a chance to go home, he's staying.

The dreaded day has come. It's hard to be happy the war is over, and the Autobots can go home, but Ratchet is using his holoform.
"Ratchet?" Bulkhead asks.
"I'm staying here," the medic announces, "look, I know my skills are needed, but I'm needed here."
Everyone knows what he means and is happy to see him want to stay rather than abandon his girl. (Y/N) runs into his arms, hugs him, and cries happy tears. Bulkhead and Wheeljack smirk.
"You needed her, Sunshine," Wheeljack comments.
Ratchet wanted to yell at Wheeljack but didn't want to kill the mood; he only smiled.
Everyone says their goodbyes and watches the other Autobots walk through the space bridge.

Even with Ratchet still around, the base feels empty to the six humans. Fowler held off talking to Ratchet about potential new positions, and June wanted to ask him about his plans related to staying here with (Y/N).

Even with the sadness of their friends no longer on Earth, (Y/N) and Ratchet are in the mood as the two make out on the berth, nude. Ratchet stopped (Y/N) from putting her pajamas on, and he didn't put his on before starting the kiss.
"Were you waiting until they left?" (Y/N) teases as she sees Ratchet is ready to have fun.
"The walls are metal and thick; they wouldn't be able to hear us," he argues.
Ratchet traces around (Y/N)'s area with his spike, dreading he knows he'll have to cause a little pain since he knows this is her first time.
"Ratchet, you can't avoid it," (Y/N) comments, "I thought you knew?"
Ratchet sighs, "o-ok."
(Y/N) feels the pain as Ratchet goes in. He tries to distract her by talking about the potential of buying a house together.
"So, how long are we staying at the base?" He asks.
(Y/N) knows he's serious and trying to distract her.
"We can start looking tomorrow," she smiles, "after a little fun."
Ratchet smiles and moves slowly. (Y/N) tries not to moan but doesn't last long. Ratchet smiles and kisses her. He tries to hold off going faster, but he can't hold off for long. (Y/N)'s breasts bounce around as Ratchet picks up speed.
"R-Ratchet!" (Y/N) pants.
"Even though we've been together for a while, I didn't realize how much I needed you," Ratchet admits as tears roll down his face.
"Just because we're having fun?" (Y/N) teases, "I know you were considering going home, but I'm happy you didn't."
The fun continues for a few minutes before the couple goes to bed.

Ratchet was serious about him and (Y/N) finding a house, but first, he had to talk to Fowler about his plans while on Earth. He agrees to take a position as a medic in the military at the nearby base. Fowler knows this doesn't mean Ratchet's ties to the Autobots is over and that he wouldn't be called to help the Autobots unless he was absolutely needed.

Ratchet and (Y/N) talk about what they want in their house. Ratchet feels embarrassed to bring up the possibility of sparklings in the future. They agreed not to rush finding a house or having sparklings. Everything seemed perfect until Ratchet is called back to Cybertron.
"Magnus is severely injured," Ratchet informs (Y/N).
While this means Ratchet will be gone for a while, (Y/N) is more worried about Magnus. Did other cons attack? A construction accident? (Y/N) wonders.
"I'll be back soon," Ratchet promises, kisses (Y/N), and walks through the space bridge.

(Y/N)'s parents understand when she returns home and tells them (Ratchet's human name) took a job as a medic in the military and is already busy for a while. Though (Y/N) feared her parents would assume she and Ratchet broke up.

(Y/N) dreads not being able to contact Ratchet while on Cyberon. Miko suggests staying with her for the weekend while her host parents are on a business trip.
"Ugh, I hate them!" Miko rants, but (Y/N) is distracted, feeling sick, "are you ok?" Miko asks, but (Y/N) rushes out of the bedroom to the bathroom to throw up.
"Don't even say it," (Y/N) warns.
"Fine, do you feel like you have a cold or the flu?"
(Y/N) gives in and takes a pregnancy test.
She isn't sure what to think about the positive result.
"How long before Ratchet is back?" Miko asks.
"I don't know," (Y/N) replies before crying.

(Y/N) finds out she's carrying twins.
I'm only six weeks pregnant; hopefully, Ratchet will come back. (Y/N) hopes as she looks at her pregnant belly in the full-size mirror.
