Carelessness when storing items leads to a serious accident and a panicked Bumblebee.

Everyone knew Bumblebee would fall for a human, considering how long he's been befriending them and his personality. (Y/N) didn't think this would happen. The obvious fear Bee would say they can't be together because he's an alien and if other humans would allow it even if Ratchet invented holoforms.

She sits on the couch in the lounge room, watching Sideswipe play a racing game, bored since Bumblebee left on patrol with Ironhide and Mirage.
"(Y/N)?" Lennox asks, "did you forget you're in charge of checking the supplies this week?"
(Y/N) goes to the supply room with the long list Lennox hands her.

Everything goes well for twenty minutes as (Y/N) goes through the list until she hears a strange noise before the entire rack of shelves falls on top of her. All she can do is scream and hope someone hears her, though with the walls being thick metal, (Y/N) knows it's very unlikely.

The terror twins walk by as (Y/N) screamed. At first, they thought it was coming from down the hall until they noticed the door to the supply room was open a little.
They see the disaster when they walk in and (Y/N) underneath the mess.
"There's too much stuff for just two of us to deal with quickly," Sunstreaker comments and runs out of the room.
He doesn't have to go far to find two soldiers.
"You two will help us, or it's your heads if the femme dies!"
The two rush to help because they fear they'll die if they don't and are worried about who's injured. They didn't think the femme they'd be helping would be trapped under stuff.

A third soldier heard all the noise in the supply room and took one look inside before knowing whoever was trapped will need medical attention. As the junk is removed, everyone sees how injured (Y/N) is. They thought she was unconscious until they heard her weakly say Bumblebee's name. What scares them more than her head injury is how (Y/N) says she can't feel her legs.
"Out of my way!" Everyone hears Ratchet with Jolt following him.
The terror twins and three soldiers leave the room, hoping they'll find out if (Y/N) is ok soon.
Ratchet already worries (Y/N) has a serious concussion — even if she's not unconscious — and internal bleeding. What the two medics discover is much worse; the metal shelf of the wrack cut deep in her top of legs. She is bleeding really bad. Ratchet yells for Optimus to contact Bee to come back. He knows (Y/N) won't relax and let the two medics examine her while she's frightened.

:: Bumblebee, there's been an accident.:: Optimus comms.
:: What?! Is (Y/N) ok?!:;
Optimus dreads telling Bee she's injured even though he doesn't know how bad himself. Ironhide insists on going back with him to keep him calm and not cause any accidents. Both mechs dread they are several hours away from the base.

Jolt and Ratchet quickly realize they can't wait for Bee; they have to do surgery or (Y/N) will bleed to death.
At least she'll be asleep and not in pain. I just hope she'll wake up. Ratchet frets, uncertain if she has a simple cut on her head or a serious concussion.

Optimus stands at the front of the bed with Ratchet ad Jolt checks over (Y/N).
"Four staples above her eye which is actually swollen shut, but you can't tell since she's asleep and how I bandaged that injury and several other deep cuts on her head. Her legs looked bad, I was expecting broken bone, but there were only deep cuts that needed stitching. I have her legs wrapped to keep the stitches from getting caught in the bedding and her clothes. Currently, her struggle will be dealing with bruised ribs. I know not being able to open her swollen eye will scare her — and I don't know if she lost eyesight or not — but bruised ribs are painful. She has a concussion and needs to be monitored. I'm keeping her here rather than their room."
Optimus nods, knowing how hard this will be for Bee. The terror twins heard everything Ratchet said from the hall of the medbay. Soon they hear Bumblebee yelling like Sunstreaker does towards the humans.
"Out of my fragging way!" They hear Bee yell.

The twins and Prime rush out of the medbay to stop Bee. The twins grab both his arms, shocker at how hard Bee is fighting to break free from their hold. Optimus tries to calm him down, but Bee isn't paying attention as he's yelling for the twins to let him go.
"Bumblebee! Shut up!" Ratchet scolds.

Bumblebee nervously goes into the medbay, into (Y/N)'s room. What he sees hurts him. He sits by the bed and takes (Y/N)'s hand as he listens to the list of his sparkmate's injuries.
"I'll take care of you," he promises even though (Y/N) can't hear him.

(Y/N) finally wakes up, but the light is too bright due to her concussion. Ratchet increases the dose of the pain medicine while Bee outs a pillow over (Y/N)'s head. He tries to keep her calm as Ratchet explains her injuries and recovery process, hoping in a week she can work with Jolt on walking again — aside from going to the bathroom — and eye movement once the Staples can be removed.

Lennox and Epps report to Prime that they inspected the supply room and found some metal crates were on the top shelves. They were too heavy for the shelves, and when (Y/N) moved some things around, which caused the crates to fall forward, causing the whole wrack to fall. Lennox tells everyone he'll have a team reorganize the disaster.
Even though (Y/N) is asleep, Bee lays on the bed — careful of the IV tube and monitor leads — and hugs (Y/N). She finds laying on her side with a pillow covering her head comfortable and falls asleep while Bee rubs her back.

Two challenging weeks pass before (Y/N) can begin therapy on her eye. (Y/N) didn't lose any eyesight, but the eye needed to readjust after being covered. She still got headaches from the concussion and now the eye physical therapy. Ratchet tells her it'll be a while before she's ready for active duty since she still has leg physical therapy to do, and her concussion could take several more weeks to clear. Even with a long road to recovery, (Y/N) can go back to their bedroom. Against Ratchet's orders, Bumblebee carries her to their room. Everyone he walks by is happy to see (Y/N) can recover in her room, and Bee will take care of her.

Perhaps Bee is going overboard, taking care of his sparkmate by helping her get changed for bed, but he insists on helping her.
(Y/N) rests her head on Bee's chest as he rubs her back.
"I love you with all my spark. I promise to take care of you and never leave you again."
"A little extreme, but I love you too."
