Last Chapter
Max was battling a trainer and Misty and Blake watched the match. Max then lost the match as his Shiny Haxorus fainted.
Max said "You are useless as you lost most battles and your only worth is that you are a Shiny Pokemon and I can sell you. I only found you due to Iris in Nature Preserve."
Iris chimed in "I guess I should give Shiny Haxorus to the Village of Dragons and inform them that it of no purpose other than make collectors happy to have a rare Pokemon."
Cilan added, "If its Shiny property is its only useful thing, we are speaking of a Pokemon that we would normally abandon."
Iris spoke "Do not judge a Pokemon by what they look on the outside. We can only use Shiny Haxorus to get money from Village of Dragons in return for selling them this but before selling, we should inform them that it is trash."
Dawn judged "I think Haxorus would not be useful in Contests as it is weak and its moves do not appear to be beautiful."
May remarked "Come on, let us just abandon Haxorus. Why try to get money as no one will pay for Haxorus as it has no use?"
Cilan rebuked May "It is useful for Pokemon Collectors."
May defended herself by saying "Well, they would be collecting garbage in this case."
Bonnie concluded "Max is the one who decides what should happen to Haxorus? Max, tell us what you have decided."
Blake spoke up "Max, I challenge you to a battle with Haxorus. I want you to give it your all in the battle."
Max said "You want to see how weak my weak Pokemon is compared to your Pokemons. Alright, I would battle you."
The group made their way to a nearby open area to watch Max and Blake's battle. Max sent out his Shiny Haxorus, while Blake chose to use his Dragonite.
The battle started off with Max's Haxorus attempting to use Dragon Claw, but it was quickly dodged by Blake's Dragonite, who then countered with a powerful Flamethrower attack.
Iris shouted "Wow, Blake's Dragonite is amazing. I want to have one just like that!"
Cilan nodded in agreement, "Yes, Blake's Dragonite is an exceptional Pokemon. It shows great strength and speed."
Max tried to get back into the game with his Haxorus using Dragon Tail, but it was ineffective against Dragonite's agility. Blake's Dragonite countered with a Thunder Punch, which hit Haxorus hard, sending it flying back several feet.
Misty was surprised by Blake's skills as a trainer. She thought to herself, "Blake is really strong. I shouldn't underestimate him."
The battle continued with Max trying to land a hit on Blake's Dragonite, but it was futile. Blake's Dragonite was just too strong and fast.
After a few more attacks, Blake's Dragonite finally defeated Max's Shiny Haxorus with a devastating Hyper Beam attack.
Max went to Haxorus and said "My Pokemons would be stronger than Blake's Pokemons. You are weaker than Blake's Dragonite so I am abandoning you. It is your fault that I lost."
Max then threw Haxorus' Pokeball to the ground and crushed Haxorus' Pokeball with his feet, signalling that he has released Haxorus for being weak.
The next thing May knew, her brother was being lifted into the air by Blake, who appeared to be prepared to kill the young boy for his actions that he had just done. Meanwhile, Max was back in piss mode as he stared at the man who appeared to be ready for extreme measures. Black spoke in hushed tones. "Max Maple, you'll come to regret that decision. You'd better hope you lose this tournament before facing me... Because if you do, you will suffer."
Blake then threw Max to the ground, who panicked and stumbled away from him. Blake spat. "You're the type of person who makes the world a toxic place. You're nothing more than a disease, a walking disease that infects everything you come into contact with."
Max ran to Misty and said "Misty, Blake is trying to kill me. Just leave Blake as he is not fit to be with you."
Misty spoke "I support Blake in whatever action he takes against you. You deserve to be treated like how Blake treated you."
Misty then went and stood next to Blake. Bonnie saw that and stood near Max and May also went and stood near Max.
May said "I am not going to let you harm Max, my younger brother."
Bonnie said "I would not allow you to hurt my love."
Iris went to Max and said "As the Unova Champion, I condone Max's actions. Blake, it is you who is wrong about Haxorus."
Blake then glared at the four who went into piss mode. Iris, Cilan, May, Max, Bonnie, Dawn, and Trip then ran away from the scene.
As Iris, Cilan, May, Max, Bonnie, Dawn, and Trip ran away, Misty turned to Blake and said "Thank you for taking care of that situation. It is clear that they do not understand the value of a Pokemon, even if it may appear weak on the outside."
Blake replied "I agree. It is important to remember that all Pokemon have their own unique strengths and weaknesses, and it is our duty as trainers to help them grow and develop."
Misty nodded in agreement. "I couldn't have said it better myself. It's our responsibility to care for our Pokemon, and to treat them with respect and kindness."
Blake added "And that's why I have no tolerance for trainers like Max, who view their Pokemon as disposable and worthless. It's a disgrace to the entire Pokemon community."
Misty smiled at Blake. "I'm glad to have you as a friend and fellow champion. We share the same values and passion for Pokemon, and I know that together, we can make a difference in the world."
Blake grinned back. "I couldn't agree more. Let's continue to work towards a better future for all Pokemon, and for all trainers who love and care for them."
Blake then said to Misty "I need you to stand away as I would have a personal conversation with Haxorus."
Misty nodded and said "Yes, I will stand away." and went and stood at a distance.
"You're not upset because Max left you. Is it true that you're upset because you believe you won't be good enough for any trainer?" Haxorus lifted its head to look at Ash for the first time. Its eyes shone with surprise. It made Ash smile. "It's okay, I understand how you feel."
Haxorus snorted, as if he didn't believe him. Ash raised his eyes to the ceiling and spoke quietly. "Honest. Prior to becoming champion, I was training my Pokémon to compete in a Pokémon league. No matter how hard I trained, I always seemed to fall just short. Nonetheless, I never gave up! After all, it was my dream."
Ash continued as Haxorus looked at him with interest. "I won awards but that was not enough for them as I lost to Misty. The people I used to call friends told me to give up on my values. When I refused, they betrayed me and attempted to take my life." Haxorus's eyes widened slightly. Ash gave a small smile. "And they believe I'm dead right now. But, even though I was presumed dead, I couldn't give up on my dream! It was my ambition to become a champion, and I succeeded because I never gave up."
Haxorus fell silent as Ash finished speaking. "Your old trainer, Haxorus, was the one who betrayed me. Max was an old friend who tried to convince me to give up my dreams. That was about six years ago... possibly a little longer." Haxorus was stunned as he stared at the trainer in front of him; had his old trainer betrayed the Paldea champion before he became champion? Why?
Ash stood up and looked at the dragon type again before pulling out a pokeball and placing it in front of him. "What I'm trying to say, Haxorus, is that some people are simply cruel. You and I were both victims of the same trainer. If I can beat him, I know you can, because I know how strong and loyal you are. That is something you should never forget." He turned to leave Haxorus.
"Hax!" Ash turned around to see Haxorus standing at attention in front of its pokeball. Ash approached the dragon type and got to eye level with him. The Pokémon smiled as it nudged the pokeball back to Ash. "Hax! Hax-orus!" Ash smiled and spoke quietly. "I'd say you wanted to stay with me if I didn't know any better. Am I correct?"
Haxorus grinned and roared affirmatively. Ash said, laughing. "Are you ready to show the guy that he shouldn't mess with us?" Haxorus approved by licking Ash's face and grunting. With a smile on his face, Ash chuckled and rubbed Haxorus's head. Max had no idea what had hit him. Ash then used the Pokeball on Haxorus and the Pokeball shook once, again, then again and then Haxorus was caught.
Present
Misty was in a training session with her Pokemon team in Glaseado Battlefield. She was trying to get her Pokemon ready for the upcoming tournaments. Her other Pokemons were training by themselves and she had her Starmie and Lapras battling against each other. Starmie was using its Psychic abilities to create powerful blasts of energy, while Lapras used its Water-type moves to counterattack.
Blake happened to walk by and noticed the intense battle going on. He approached Misty, curious about what was happening. "Hey there, Misty. Looks like you're working hard with your Pokemon," he said, smiling at her.
Misty looked up and saw Blake, "Oh, hey Blake. Yeah, just trying to get my team ready for the upcoming tournaments. How are you doing?"
"I'm doing great. Just finished a tough battle with Elesa. She's a really strong trainer," Blake replied, still watching the intense battle between Misty's Pokemon.
Misty noticed Blake's interest in the battle and asked, "Hey, do you want to watch and maybe give me some feedback? It's always good to have another set of eyes watching."
Blake smiled and nodded, "Sure thing, I'd love to watch and offer some advice if I can."
Misty smiled and motioned for Blake to come closer. He sat down next to her and watched as Lapras and Starmie continued to battle fiercely. Blake was impressed with Misty's strategic thinking and her Pokemon's abilities.
After a few minutes of watching, Blake offered some advice to Misty. "You know, I noticed that Starmie is relying too much on its Psychic abilities. You might want to train it to use some other moves to diversify its strategy."
Misty nodded, "Yeah, that's a good point. I'll work on that in our next training session. Thanks, Blake."
They continued to watch the battle together and discussed different strategies and moves that Misty could use in future battles. Blake was impressed with Misty's skills as a trainer, and Misty was grateful for Blake's advice.
Blake then had some work and said to Misty "Goodbye!"
Misty watched as Blake walked away, feeling grateful for the advice he had given her. She had always admired Blake's skills as a trainer, but she didn't know much about him personally.
As she continued her training session with Lapras and Starmie, she couldn't help but wonder about Blake. She knew he was a powerful trainer, but she didn't know much else about him. She wondered where he was from and what his background was.
The peaceful atmosphere of the Glaseado Battlefield was shattered as Iris, Cilan, and Trip appeared out of nowhere, much to Misty's surprise. She turned to them, her expression guarded as they approached her.
"What are you doing here?" Misty asked, her tone cautious.
Iris smiled sweetly, her eyes gleaming with a hint of mischief. "We just came to say hello to our friend Blake. But it looks like he's not here. Oh well, we'll just have to catch up with him later."
Misty's eyes narrowed as she sensed something was off about their behavior. Before she could react, Cilan quickly sprayed a mist into her face, causing her to fall into a deep slumber.
Iris then released her Dragonite, who unleashed a powerful Draco Meteor attack on Misty's exhausted Pokemon. The attack was so intense that Misty's Pokemon fainted immediately. Misty was still asleep and did not realize what was happening to her beloved Pokemon.
Iris, Cilan, and Trip then quickly grabbed Misty and took her to their hideout on the outskirts of Glaseado City. Once they arrived, they tied her hands and legs to a bed, leaving her completely helpless.
Iris sneered at Misty, "Blake has left, so he would not know that we have kidnapped his precious girlfriend."
Misty's eyes widened in shock as she realized what had just happened. She struggled against her restraints, but they were too tight for her to break free.
"You traitors! You're enemies of me and Blake!" Misty yelled, her voice filled with anger.
Iris just chuckled, "Oh, we're not enemies of you and Blake, Misty. We're just here to have a little fun."
Misty glared at Iris, her eyes burning with fury. She knew that she had to find a way to escape before it was too late. But for now, she was completely at the mercy of her captors, unable to do anything except wait and hope that Blake would come to her rescue.
Max asked Misty "Why is Blake so dead against us?"
Misty spoke "Maybe it is due to how you all badmouth others, abandon your Pokemons."
Max then said "I need to know why are you close with Blake?"
Misty revealed "I got to know his good deeds and so I am close with him."
Max said "I need you to reveal whatever you know about us in a minute or else I will have fun with you."
Misty glared at Max, her eyes filled with anger. "I won't tell you anything, you traitor!"
Max just smirked at her, "Oh, come on, Misty. Don't be like that. You are giving a response that means to me that I can have fun with you."
As Misty struggled against her restraints, Max approached her with a menacing grin on his face. "I think you misunderstood me, Misty. I didn't give you a choice. You will tell me everything you know about Blake and us, or I will make you suffer."
Misty glared at him, her eyes filled with defiance. "I won't tell you anything, you coward! You're nothing but a bunch of traitors who abandoned their own Pokemon."
Max's expression turned dark as he heard Misty's words. "You have no idea what you're talking about. We didn't abandon our Pokemon. We had to leave them behind to save ourselves. And as for Blake, he's just a coward who's afraid of us because he knows we're better than him."
Misty's eyes widened in shock at Max's words. She couldn't believe that he was speaking ill of Blake, someone who had always been a hero to her. "You're lying! Blake is a hero, and you're just a bunch of criminals!"
Max just chuckled, "Believe what you want, Misty. But you will tell us what we want to know, whether you like it or not."
Misty gritted her teeth as she realized that she was in a difficult situation. She knew that she had to find a way to escape and warn Blake about what had happened, but she also knew that she couldn't do it alone.
Max then went and crawled on top of Misty, with his eyes having a mischievous glint showing that he wanted to have fun with Misty.
Misty struggled against her restraints as Max crawled on top of her, his eyes filled with a sickening desire. She gritted her teeth in frustration, wishing that she could break free and teach him a lesson.
Iris, Cilan, May, Bonnie, Dawn, and Trip appeared out of nowhere. Misty's heart sank as she realized that she was in even more trouble than before.
May said "I would love seeing my brother having fun with Misty."
Bonnie cooed "Max is so awesome in having Misty as his mistress."
Dawn smiled "Max, continue the process."
Trip spoke "I am ambivalent to what you are trying to do."
Iris nodded "So am I but this is they way we can break Misty who I recall has been in love with Ash and now Blake both of whom are our enemies."
Cilan spoke "As a fun connoisseur, I can say Max will have plenty of fun with Misty."
As Max crawled on top of Misty, his eyes filled with a sickening desire.
Iris sneered at Misty, "Oh, don't worry, we're not here to save you. We're here to watch Max have some fun with you."
Misty glared at them, her eyes filled with anger. "You're all sick! How can you enjoy seeing someone else suffer?"
Iris just shrugged, "Well, it's not like you're important to us anyway. You're just a pawn in our game."
Max grinned wickedly as he heard Iris's words. "That's right. You're nothing but a toy for us to play with."
Misty struggled against her restraints, but it was no use. She was completely helpless against her captors. She closed her eyes, trying to block out the pain and humiliation she was feeling.
"I'll admit, you had me unaware of this."
As the voice echoed throughout the flat, Misty's heart skipped a beat. She recognized the voice immediately, and she knew that it was someone who could help her.
The traitors looked around in panic, not knowing who was speaking. Max gritted his teeth, "Whoever you are, you better show yourself now."
Suddenly, the room was filled with a blinding light, and a figure appeared before them. It was Blake, dressed in his usual attire as the Paldea Champion.
Iris's eyes widened in shock as she recognized Blake. "You! But how...?"
Blake just smirked at her, "I've been keeping an eye on you all for a while now. I knew that you were planning something, so I decided to pay you a visit."
Cilan stuttered, "W-we didn't do anything wrong! We were just having some fun."
Blake's expression turned dark, "Fun? Is that what you call torturing and humiliating someone? You're all nothing but monsters."
Blake, also known as Ash, stood tall in front of Iris, Cilan, May, Max, Bonnie, Dawn, and Trip. Misty's heart filled with relief as she saw him, hoping that he would be able to save her from her captors.
Max sneered at Blake, "Oh, look who's talking. You're just a coward."
Blake's expression turned even darker as he heard Max's words. "I am no coward. I am the Paldea Champion, and I will not stand by and watch you all hurt innocent people."
Iris scoffed, "Innocent people? You mean like Misty? She's nothing but a traitor who has been helping you."
Blake's eyes narrowed as he heard Iris's words. "Misty is no traitor. She is the Kanto Champion and a dear friend of mine."
Max laughed, "Friend? You mean the girl who is currently our captive? You're a fool if you think she's on your side."
Blake's eyes flashed with anger as he heard Max's words. "Release her now, or you will suffer the consequences."
Iris rolled her eyes, "Oh, please. You don't scare us, Blake. We've beaten you once, and we can do it again."
Blake took a step forward, his hands glowing with a white light. "I don't want to fight you, but I will if I have to. Release Misty now, and we can settle this peacefully."
Max laughed, "Peacefully? You think we're just going to let you walk out of here? You're delusional, Blake."
Blake gritted his teeth, "Fine. If that's how you want it, then let's fight."
The room was filled with a blinding light as Blake unleashed his power, his aura glowing with a fiery intensity. Iris, Cilan, May, Max, Bonnie, Dawn, and Trip looked on in shock as Blake took down each one of them with ease.
Misty watched in amazement as Blake defeated her captors, his power seemingly limitless. She knew that she had made the right choice in being close with him, and she felt a sense of pride in being his friend.
After the battle, Blake approached Misty, a concerned look on his face. "Are you okay?"
Misty nodded, tears of relief streaming down her face. "Thank you, Blake. I knew you would come for me."
Blake smiled, "Of course I would. You're my friend, Misty. I would do anything to protect you."
Misty smiled back at him, feeling grateful to have such a loyal friend. She knew that no matter what happened in the future, she could always count on him to be there for her.
As the battle began, Blake watched as Iris, Cilan, May, Max, Bonnie, Dawn, and Trip sent out their Pokemons. He knew that this was not going to be an easy fight, but he was determined to protect Misty and put an end to their plans.
Max sneered at Blake, "You think you can take us all on? You're just a washed-up has-been."
Blake glared at Max, "I am the Paldea Champion, and I will not tolerate anyone who tries to harm innocent people."
Iris chuckled, "Innocent people? Like Misty? You really have no idea what's going on, do you?"
Blake gritted his teeth, "I know exactly what's going on. You're all traitors who have betrayed your friends and your region."
Cilan spoke up, "We did what we had to do to survive. You have no idea what it's like to live in a world where you're constantly being hunted."
Blake shook his head, "That's no excuse for what you've done. You could have chosen a different path, but you decided to take the easy way out."
May stepped forward, "We didn't do anything wrong. We were just following orders."
Blake's eyes narrowed, "Orders from who? Team Rocket?"
Iris sneered, "What do you know about Team Rocket? You're just a simpleton who has no idea what's going on in the world."
Blake took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. "I know more than you think. And I feel that you're all in league with them."
Max laughed, "In league with Team Rocket? You really are delusional."
Blake sent out his Pikachu and the traitors sent out their Pokemons.
The room was filled with the sounds of Pokemon battling as Blake and his opponents faced off against each other. Misty watched anxiously from her spot on the ground, hoping that Blake would be able to defeat them and rescue her.
Max's Pokemon, a Gyarados, towered over Blake's Pikachu, but Blake didn't seem to be intimidated. "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"
The electric-type Pokemon let loose a powerful blast of lightning, hitting Gyarados with a direct hit. The water-type Pokemon roared in pain, but it didn't go down.
Max smirked, "You think that's going to stop us? We have more Pokemon where that came from."
Iris's Dragonite swooped down, trying to catch Pikachu off guard, but Pikachu was too quick. It dodged the dragon's attack and landed a hit with Thunderbolt.
Dawn's Buneary tried to use its cuteness to distract Pikachu, but Pikachu was too focused on the battle. It used its agility to dodge Buneary's attacks and hit it with Thunderbolt.
Bonnie's Dedenne tried to sneak up on Pikachu from behind, but Pikachu was ready for it. It used Iron Tail to knock Dedenne out of the air.
Cilan's Pansage tried to use its vines to ensnare Pikachu, but Pikachu was too fast. It used Quick Attack to dodge the vines and hit Pansage with Thunderbolt.
May's Blaziken was the last one standing, and it was a formidable opponent. It launched a series of powerful kicks, but Pikachu managed to dodge them all. Finally, Pikachu landed a hit with Thunderbolt, knocking Blaziken out cold.
Meanwhile, as the battle raged on, Misty watched anxiously from the sidelines. She had known that Iris, Cilan, May, Max, Bonnie, Dawn, and Trip were trouble and they were responsible for Ash's death.
She watched as Blake and his Pokemon fought bravely, determined to protect her and put an end to their plans. Despite the odds, they managed to hold their own against their opponents.
In the end, it was Blake who emerged victorious. He had managed to defeat all of their Pokemons, leaving Iris, Cilan, May, Max, Bonnie, Dawn, and Trip defeated and humiliated. Iris, Cilan, May, Max, Bonnie, Dawn, and Trip then ran from the room.
As Blake walked over to Misty, he could see the relief in her eyes. "Are you—" When Misty pressed her lips against his, he was cut off. Blake froze in place as the lovely, no, stunning girl kissed him passionately on the lips.
Ash's whole mind was in utter shock. Her lips tasted rather like strawberries, a taste that he loved so much. They were soft and tender, but the kiss was firm and incredible. Ash felt himself slip away as he tried to figure out what the hell was going on at the time, because his entire mind was working overtime to figure out what he should do after a hot girl kisses you. 'Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! She's... she's... she's making out with me! W-what the hell am I supposed to do?' asked the rational part of his mind. 'Kiss her back, you buffoon.'
So he did exactly that: he pressed back. He cupped Misty's bum and drew her into his strong arms, earning her an appreciative moan. She was determined not to break the kiss and pulled his neck down to kiss him even more deeply. He held her perfect bum in one hand while placing his other hand on the back of her head, forcing her to deepen the kiss even more, earning another happy moan of bliss. Misty murmured softly when they finally broke the kiss.
"I've been meaning to do that for a while..." Ash laughed softly. "That brings us to two, Miss Waterflower." She laughed quietly and said. "My hero..."
Ash gave a small smile, and the next thing he knew, she was crushing her mouth against his once more. He squeezed her backside with both hands, feeling her warm bum fill his hands. They continued to kiss carelessly; they had finally found each other, and while Ash hadn't revealed himself yet, he didn't mind.
Misty had always been his dream, and now she was.
While their lips were still connected, he softly chuckled and broke the kiss. He spoke quietly. "Would you like to assist me with something?"
She gave a small grin. "What exactly is that?"
He grinned. "It just has to do with you becoming my girlfriend..."
She had her own smirk plastered all over her pretty face. "Oh, I'm your girlfriend now, aren't I?" Since when have we even discussed dating, hm?" Unfortunately for her, Blake called her bluff. "Alright, I guess we're not dating after all—" He was cut off once more when she pressed her lips against his and quickly said. "I was joking, you jerk! Of course, I'm going to be your girlfriend! What did you want to do now?"
Ash smiled cheerfully. "Oh... I have a few ideas..."
Ash was in his palace's corridor and he saw Domino, his Dark-Ghost Elite Four member of Paldea.
Ash said "Domino, it's been an incredible day! I'm not sure which was more surprising: learning that Damien will be my second round opponent or officially declaring Misty my girlfriend!"
Domino's head was practically swiveling to see if Ash was telling the truth. Ash chucked while Misty happily walked in the corridor and reached Domino.
Domino raised an eyebrow, surprised at Ash's news. "Well, well, well," she said with a sly grin. "Looks like our young champion has been keeping himself busy."
Misty looked at Ash with a mixture of confusion and suspicion. "What's going on, Blake?" she asked.
Ash quickly realized his mistake in using his real name and tried to play it off. "Oh, sorry, force of habit," he said, giving Misty a reassuring smile. "I meant to say 'Paldea Champion' instead of my actual name."
Misty nodded, still not completely convinced, but decided to let it go for now. "Congratulations on making it to the second round," she said, turning her attention to Ash's upcoming battle. "Damien is a tough opponent, but I have faith in you."
Ash grinned, feeling a surge of confidence. "Thanks, Misty. I'll give it my all."
Domino interjected, "Blake, I have some intel on Damien's battle style that may come in handy for your match. Would you like to hear it?"
Ash eagerly nodded, grateful for any advantage he could get. "Yes, please. What do you know?"
Domino leaned in and whispered her findings to Ash. As she spoke, Ash's eyes widened in surprise and appreciation. "Wow, thanks, Domino. This is really helpful," he said, feeling more prepared for his upcoming battle.
Misty looked at the two with curiosity, wondering what secret information Domino had shared with Ash. "What did she tell you?" she asked.
Ash hesitated for a moment, not wanting to give away too much information. "Just some tips on Damien's battle strategy," he said vaguely. "I'll tell you more after the battle."
Misty nodded, understanding that Ash couldn't reveal everything just yet. "Okay, I'll be rooting for you," she said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Ash blushed, feeling a rush of happiness at Misty's affection. "Thanks, Misty. I won't let you down," he said with determination in his voice.
With that, Ash and Misty said their goodbyes to Domino and headed off to their respective chambers to prepare for their upcoming battles. Ash felt confident and ready to take on Damien, knowing that he had both Misty and Domino on his side.
Misty was standing in front of her opponent, Flint who is the Fire type Elite Four member of Sinnoh in the second round.
The announcer said "This match is between Misty Waterflower, Champion of Kanto against Flint, Elite Four of Sinnoh. The battle features three Pokemons on each side and would be over if all three Pokemon on one side are unable to battle. Neither side will be able to exchange their Pokemns until one faints."
Flint said "Infernape, I choose you!"
Misty said "Gyarados, go!"
Gyarados and Infernape stood on opposite sides of the field and both Pokemons waited for their trainers to give them the instructions. Flint noticed that Misty was not Mega Evolving Gyarados even though it would get more power as it would get a type disadvantage.
The battle between Misty and Flint was underway, with Gyarados and Infernape standing opposite each other on the battlefield. Misty knew that Infernape was a formidable opponent, but she was confident in Gyarados's strength and abilities.
"Infernape, use Flamethrower!" Flint commanded, his Pokemon unleashing a powerful stream of flames at Gyarados.
Misty quickly assessed the situation and called out her next move. "Gyarados, use Waterfall to counter the Flamethrower!"
Gyarados responded by creating a massive waterfall that crashed down on Infernape, dousing the flames and dealing significant damage. However, Flint wasn't deterred, and he quickly ordered his Pokemon to attack again.
"Infernape, use Close Combat!" Flint shouted, as Infernape charged towards Gyarados, its fists glowing with power.
Misty knew that Gyarados would struggle against Infernape's fighting moves, but she had a plan. "Gyarados, use Dragon Dance to increase your speed and power!"
Gyarados complied, twirling and dancing around the battlefield as its strength and speed increased. Infernape's attack missed, and Gyarados retaliated with a powerful Dragon Tail that sent Infernape flying.
Flint was surprised by the turn of events, but he wasn't ready to give up yet. "Infernape, use Mach Punch!" he commanded, hoping that the quick and powerful attack would catch Gyarados off-guard.
But Misty was one step ahead. "Gyarados, use Ice Fang to freeze Infernape's fists!" she called out.
Gyarados chomped down on Infernape's fists with its icy jaws, freezing the fighting Pokemon in place. With Infernape immobilized, Gyarados was able to finish the battle with a powerful Hydro Pump that sent Flint and Infernape to the ground.
Misty said "Gyarados, Mega Evolve!"
With a roar of power, Gyarados Mega Evolved to Mega Gyarados. Its body became bulkier and darker, and its fins turned into sharp blades. Its eyes glowed with a fierce light, and its mouth opened wide to reveal rows of razor-sharp teeth. It was ready to unleash its wrath on its opponent.
Flint said "Magmortar, I choose you! Flamethrower!"
Misty ordered "Mega Gyarados, use Dragon Dance to increase your speed and power!" Misty commanded.
Mega Gyarados complied, twirling and dancing around the battlefield as its strength and speed increased. Magmortar wasted no time and fired a powerful Flamethrower at Mega Gyarados, hoping to catch it off-guard.
But Mega Gyarados was too fast and agile. It dodged the Flamethrower with ease and countered with a devastating Ice Fang attack, freezing Magmortar's legs in a block of ice.
Flint knew that he needed to act quickly if he wanted to turn the tide of the battle. "Magmortar, use Thunderbolt!" he commanded, hoping that the electric attack would be able to break through Mega Gyarados's defenses.
Mega Gyarados roared in pain as the Thunderbolt hit it, but it didn't falter. Instead, it unleashed a powerful Crunch attack, biting down on Magmortar with its sharp teeth and causing it to cry out in pain.
Flint gritted his teeth, knowing that he needed to come up with a new strategy if he wanted to win. "Magmortar, use Smokescreen to blind Mega Gyarados!" he called out.
Magmortar unleashed a thick cloud of smoke that enveloped the battlefield, obscuring Mega Gyarados's vision. Misty was taken aback by the sudden attack, but she quickly regained her composure.
"Mega Gyarados, use Dragon Pulse to clear the smoke!" she commanded.
Mega Gyarados unleashed a powerful blast of energy that cleared the smoke and hit Magmortar with full force. The fire Pokemon was knocked back, but it managed to stay on its feet.
Flint knew that he was running out of options. "Magmortar, use Overheat!" he shouted, hoping that the powerful fire attack would be enough to defeat Mega Gyarados.
Magmortar unleashed a massive blast of flames, but Mega Gyarados wasn't fazed. It countered with a powerful Hydro Pump that hit Magmortar square in the chest, sending it flying and knocking it out.
Flint said "Ninetales, I choose you!" and Ninetales appeared. The sunlight became stronger due to Ninetales' Drought ability.
Flint's Ninetales emerged from its Pokeball, its long, fluffy tails swaying behind it. Misty's Mega Gyarados glared at its opponent, ready for battle.
Flint didn't waste any time. "Ninetales, use Flamethrower!" he commanded.
Misty commanded "Ice Fang!"
Ninetales opened its mouth and unleashed a massive blast of flames at Mega Gyarados, but the water dragon was too quick. It dodged the attack and countered with a powerful Ice Fang, freezing Ninetales solid.
Flint gritted his teeth. "Ninetales, use Will-O-Wisp!" he shouted, hoping that the ghostly flames would weaken Mega Gyarados's attacks.
Misty smiled "Dragon Pulse!"
Ninetales unleashed a shower of blue flames that hit Mega Gyarados, but it didn't seem to have any effect. Mega Gyarados roared and countered with a powerful Dragon Pulse, hitting Ninetales with full force and sending it flying.
Flint knew that he needed to come up with a new strategy if he wanted to win. "Ninetales, use Confuse Ray!" he called out.
Ninetales unleashed a wave of disorienting energy that hit Mega Gyarados, confusing it and causing it to stumble around the battlefield.
Misty knew that she needed to act quickly if she wanted to turn the tide of the battle. "Mega Gyarados, use Dragon Dance to clear your confusion!" she commanded.
Mega Gyarados complied, twirling and dancing around the battlefield as it regained its focus. Ninetales tried to attack with a quick Flame Charge, but Mega Gyarados was too fast. It dodged the attack and countered with a powerful Crunch, biting down on Ninetales and knocking it out.
"The winner of the second round in the Giratina bracket is Misty and she would go on to the third round." the announcer shouted.
Flint returned Ninetales to its Pokeball, feeling a sense of frustration. "Well done, Misty," he said. "You and Mega Gyarados make a great team."
Misty smiled, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. "Thanks, Flint," she said. "That was a tough battle, but we managed to pull through."
The traitors were looking at the Pokemon Legends tournament.
Iris said "Flint must be one of the weakest trainers to lose so badly to Misty who did not participate in World Coronation Series. It seems Flint was selected just because he is Sinnoh Elite Four member. The rules have to be changed."
Trip nodded "You would be right, Iris. I am sure Misty was too sad that Ash is dead and so she did not participate in World Coronation Series. If Misty is so emotional, she would be a weak trainer. Now, she has forgotten Ash and is romancing with Blake."
May added "This is all good for my brother, Max. Let Misty get overconfident due to defeating weak trainers. When Max faces her, Misty would lose badly to him due to her overconfidence."
Bonnie cooed "Max is such an amazing trainer who will win the tournament and now it would be easy for him as there are weak trainers in the tournamnet."
Dawn nodded "Max, Trip, Bonnie, and Iris are competing in this tournament. We would defeat Blake and takeover Paldea after the defeat."
Cilan analyzed "As a battle connoisseur, I say that Max, Trip, Bonnie, and Iris are the frontrunners of winning this competition."
Max smirked "It will be me who would win the tournament."
As they watched the tournament, Blake couldn't help but feel a sense of disgust towards Iris, Cilan, May, Max, Bonnie, Dawn, and Trip. They had almost killed him and now they were talking about taking over Paldea.
Misty, who was sitting next to Blake, noticed his discomfort and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Is everything okay?" she asked, concern in her voice.
Blake forced a smile and nodded. "Yeah, just thinking about the competition. It's going to be tough, but I'm ready for it."
Iris, who was sitting on the other side of the room, noticed the exchange and smirked to herself. "Blake is clearly still emotional about Ash's death. He won't be able to handle the pressure of the tournament."
Max, who was standing by the door, overheard Iris's comment and spoke up. "Don't worry, Iris. I'll take care of Blake in the tournament. He won't stand a chance against me."
Cilan, who was busy analyzing the tournament brackets, chimed in. "I must say, Max has a very strong chance of winning the tournament. His battle strategy is impeccable."
Misty, who had been quiet until now, spoke up. "You all are just jealous because Blake has beaten you all before. He's a formidable opponent and he's not going down without a fight."
May rolled her eyes. "Please, Misty. Blake is no match for Max. He's going to win this tournament and become the new champion."
Dawn nodded in agreement. "And when he does, we'll finally be able to take over Paldea and get rid of Blake once and for all."
Blake clenched his fists under the table, but he remained silent. He knew that revealing his true identity would only make things worse. For now, he had to focus on the tournament and defeating his opponents, no matter how much they despised him.
Ash was standing in one side of the field and Damien was standing on the other side of the field.
Ash said "I am battling with just one Pokemon."
The referree said "This is a "This is a three-on-one battle! Damien will have three Pokémon at his disposal, whereas the Champion, Blake, will only have one. The first battle pits Damien's Metagross against Blake's Charizard. Furthermore, if Blake's Charizard faints at any point during the game, Damien advances to the next round. Ready… Let the battle begin!"
Ash said "Charizard, I choose you!"
Damien said "Metagross, time for battle!"
Charizard and Metagross stood on opposite sides of the field and both trainers gave their instructions.
Ash said, "Charizard, use Flamethrower!"
Charizard unleashed a powerful stream of flames towards Metagross, but the Steel/Psychic-type was able to withstand the attack.
Damien said, "Metagross, use Meteor Mash!"
Metagross charged towards Charizard, its arms glowing with a blue aura. It delivered a powerful blow to Charizard, sending the dragon flying back.
Ash said, "Charizard, use Dragon Claw!"
Charizard flew towards Metagross, its claws glowing with a white light. It delivered a fierce strike, leaving deep gashes on Metagross's armor.
Damien said, "Metagross, use Psychic!"
Metagross's eyes glowed with a bright blue light as it lifted Charizard into the air with its psychic powers. It slammed Charizard down onto the ground, leaving the dragon dazed.
Ash said, "Charizard, get up and use Blast Burn!"
Charizard managed to stand up, its eyes glowing with a fiery determination. It unleashed a massive ball of flames towards Metagross, engulfing the Steel/Psychic-type in a massive explosion.
After the smoke cleared, Metagross was seen lying on the ground, unable to battle any longer.
Damien then said "Eelektross, time for battle! Thunder!"
Ash said, "Charizard, use Dragon Claw!"
Charizard flew towards Eelektross, its claws glowing with a white light. It delivered a fierce strike, leaving a deep gash on Eelektross's body while Charizard was hit by Thunder and lost health.
Damien said, "Eelektross, use Thunderbolt!"
Eelektross released a powerful bolt of electricity towards Charizard, but the dragon was able to dodge the attack.
Ash said, "Charizard, use Flamethrower!"
Charizard unleashed a stream of flames towards Eelektross, but the Electric-type was able to withstand the attack.
Damien said, "Eelektross, use Giga Drain!"
Eelektross wrapped its body around Charizard and began draining its energy. Charizard struggled to break free, but the Electric-type's grip was too strong.
Ash said, "Charizard, use Dragon Pulse!"
Charizard let out a deafening roar, unleashing a powerful pulse of energy towards Eelektross. The Electric-type was hit with a direct hit, leaving it severely weakened.
Damien said, "Eelektross, use Zap Cannon!"
Eelektross charged up a massive amount of electricity and fired a powerful beam towards Charizard. The dragon tried to dodge the attack, but it was hit and knocked down onto the ground.
Ash said, "Charizard, get up and use Blast Burn!"
Charizard struggled to get up, but it managed to stand up with a fiery determination. It unleashed a massive ball of flames towards Eelektross, engulfing the Electric-type in a massive explosion.
After the smoke cleared, Eelektross was seen lying on the ground, unable to battle any longer.
Damien then said "Venusaur, time for battle! Razor Leaf!"
Ash began, "Charizard, use Flamethrower!"
Charizard opened its mouth and unleashed a powerful stream of flames at Venusaur which burned the leaves in Razor Leaf attack, but Damien was quick to react.
"Venusaur, use Solar Beam!" Damien commanded.
Venusaur charged up its energy, and then fired a beam of concentrated sunlight at Charizard, causing a massive explosion as the two attacks collided.
Ash quickly regained his focus, "Charizard, use Dragon Claw!"
Charizard charged at Venusaur with its sharp claws glowing. Venusaur tried to dodge, but it was too slow, and Charizard landed a direct hit, sending Venusaur flying back.
"Venusaur, use Leech Seed!" Damien shouted.
Venusaur launched a barrage of seeds at Charizard, which landed and quickly sprouted into vines that wrapped around Charizard, sapping its energy.
Ash knew that he needed to act fast. "Charizard, use Fly!"
Charizard spread its wings and flew up high into the air, carrying Venusaur with it. Ash then commanded, "Now, use Seismic Toss!"
Charizard spun around in mid-air, holding Venusaur tightly, and then slammed it down onto the ground with incredible force, causing a massive impact.
Damien gritted his teeth, "Venusaur, get up and use Razor Leaf!"
Venusaur got up quickly and launched sharp leaves at Charizard. Ash shouted, "Dodge and use Dragon Tail!"
Charizard dodged the leaves and swung its tail, hitting Venusaur and sending it flying towards Damien and Venusaur was knocked out.
"The winner of the second round in the Zekrom bracket is Blake and he would go on to the third round." the announcer shouted.
Officers barged onto the pitch, and Ash knew why they were there: to apprehend Damien Dark. He smirked and accompanied Damien, who was resisting the officer's commands. He smirked and accompanied them to a private corridor where Ash did know they were waiting for backup to question then approached Ash and gave Espeon's Pokeball to Ash.
Blake spoke to Officer Jenny in a formal tone as two officers, including Officer Jenny, were handcuffing Damien to a neighbouring pole. "Please excuse me, Officer, but I'd like to speak privately with Mr. Dark before he is taken away, if that's okay?" Jenny saluted and nodded. "Blake, of course! Take your time, and when you're finished, let me know and I'll take him away." Ash nodded and approached Damien, who was staring at something other than Blake. Charizard stood to Ash's right, and Espeon stood to Ash's left.
Ash spoke quietly to Espeon. "You know how it goes; just wait for my que."
Ash walked in the field and reached Damien. Misty then walked and gave Espeon's Pokeball to Ash. Ash then released Espeon and then pressed two fingers under Damien's chin, forcing him to look him in the eyes. Damien resisted fearfully in response. Then Ash pulled his most sinister move: he smirked at Damien and waited for his reaction. Damien finally met his eyes after about five seconds, and his breath hitched in horror as he was flooded with memories. It was a flashback to when he'd abandoned Charmander on the rock.
Damien couldn't stop grinning because that thing was so worthless and pathetic. He'd never been given a reason to regret his decision, and he wasn't about to start now. That is, until he noticed time speeding up and the trainer known as Ash Ketchum training it into a Charizard. He then got a full time lapse of its skill and strength progression over the years, and he was paling more and more as he watched it take down opponent after opponent for Ash. Why was Blake showing him this, he wondered? Even better, how was he demonstrating this to him?
The time lapse then came to a halt on one frame. It was Charizard, standing and staring at him with one eye covered by the shade of the picture, looking angry but smug at the same time. But it was when the frame shifted to the side and a man in a red vest and a masked face appeared behind Charizard that he truly paled. Damien's eyes widened as he realised who it was.
Blake.
He then realised in horror what he had done; he had made the stupid Charizard's mistake of living so that, in the end, Karma would bite him in the ass and that very same Charmander would be the one who eliminated him in the biggest tournament ever. He couldn't keep the horror from coming through in his voice. "It's... It's not possible..."
Blake said quietly, smirking. "Better start believing it then... but here's something to remember that day by." Charziard was up next. He walked slowly towards Damien, each step making an extremely loud 'THUD' noise. Damien's gaze was fixed on Charizard, his entire body language displaying his terror. Charizard looked at his old trainer with no sympathy.
Then Charizard gave Damien a sinister smirk, and Espeon's eyes glowed blue. Damien began screaming as Espeon bombarded his mind with images and pictures that would eventually drive Damien insane. Ash grabbed Damien's collar and evilly whispered. "A small dose of pain to compensate for all of the suffering you have caused others... Damien, never forget about us. Those memories will haunt you until you decide to become a dedicated, honest, and hardworking trainer. You will stop screaming when this occurs. Until then, enjoy hell: it's where you'll be for a long time." He then punched Damien in the face once, delivering a stunning right hook that knocked him out cold.
Ash smirked and said loudly as he walked away. "He's completely yours." He then walked away, his hands in his pockets, a smirk still on his face. Round three awaited him, and he hoped it would be another person he knew but didn't hate. His face softened into a smile.
The traitors were looking at the match and Blake's victory.
Max said "I hoped Damien won against Blake."
May spoke "Blake is arresting Damien for abusing Pokemon. That is an exaggeration as Damien likely only showed tough love. Damien should not be arrested."
Iris revealed "I used to be kind to Dragon Pokemon. Then I understood that winning is everything and I showed tough love to Dragon Pokemons."
Cilan justified "As a battle connoisseur, I say that winning is all that matters."
Trip said "I see you all learned nothing from Ash regarding being kind to Pokemons."
Max slammed the armrests and said "Being kind to Pokemons means that they will be coddled and they will be weak."
Bonnie smiled "You are right in what you say, Max."
Dawn nodded "Since I started to treat Pokemons in a way others think of as abusive but what I think of as tough love, I have been winning most Pokemon Contests."
Misty was walking in the streets of Glaseado City. Misty then came across Team Snagem grunts with Snag machines.
Misty quickly recognized the Snag machines and knew that these were Team Snagem grunts. She had heard about their cruel practices of stealing Pokemon from their trainers.
Misty stepped forward and said, "Hey, what do you think you're doing?"
One of the grunts laughed and replied, "What does it look like? We're snatching Pokemon from these weak trainers."
Misty's eyes blazed with fury. "That's not how you treat Pokemon! They deserve to be treated with love and respect, not stolen away from their rightful trainers!"
The other grunt sneered, "Ha! Who are you to tell us what to do? We're Team Snagem and we do as we please!"
Misty's hand went to her belt, ready to call out her Pokemon. "I'm the Kanto Champion, and I won't stand by while you hurt innocent Pokemon!"
Just as she was about to make her move, a figure stepped out of the shadows. It was Blake, the Paldea Champion, who had been watching from a distance.
Blake said, "I'll take care of this, Misty. You go on ahead."
Misty was surprised to see Blake there, but she trusted him. She nodded and ran off, leaving Blake to deal with the Snagem grunts.
Blake's eyes narrowed as he walked towards the grunts. "You've made a big mistake, coming here to cause trouble. You're in for a world of hurt."
Misty watched as the battle between Blake and the Team Snagem grunts unfolded. The grunts sent out their Pokemon, a Mightyena and a Swalot, while Blake called out his Greninja and Charizard.
"Greninja, use Water Shuriken on Mightyena! Charizard, go for Flamethrower on Swalot!" Blake commanded.
Greninja launched several shurikens made of water at Mightyena, while Charizard unleashed a powerful stream of flames at Swalot. The grunts tried to counter with their own attacks, but Greninja's speed and Charizard's power were too much for them.
"Mightyena, use Crunch on Greninja! Swalot, hit Charizard with Gunk Shot!" one of the grunts shouted.
Mightyena charged at Greninja with its jaws wide open, but Greninja quickly dodged the attack and retaliated with a well-placed Water Pulse. Swalot tried to hit Charizard with its toxic sludge, but Charizard avoided the attack and hit Swalot with a devastating Dragon Claw.
The grunts' Pokemon were quickly defeated, and Blake emerged victorious.
"Looks like you guys still have a lot to learn about battling," Blake said as he recalled his Pokemon.
In the end, the grunts were defeated and fled, leaving their Snag machines behind. Blake picked up the machines and crushed them under his boot.
Misty came back and said, "Thank you, Blake. I couldn't have done it without you."
Blake shrugged. "It's no problem. I don't tolerate people mistreating Pokemon."
Misty smiled. "I can see that. Maybe we're not so different after all."
Blake grinned. "Maybe not. Want to grab some lunch and talk about it?"
Misty nodded. "That sounds like a great idea."
As Misty and Blake walked, the Team Snagem grunts approached Iris who was standing with higher Team Snagem grunts in a dark alley and said "We have lost against Blake."
Iris remarked "You are useless. Alright, you higher ranked Team Snagem grunts go and steal Misty's and Blake's Pokemons."
The leader of the higher ranked Team Snagem grunts said "We will do as you say, Champion Iris." and they ran and left the alley and went to Blake and Misty.
Misty and Blake exchanged a look of concern as the higher ranked Team Snagem grunts approached them. Blake instinctively reached for a Pokeball, ready to defend himself and Misty.
But before they could react, a figure appeared from behind the grunts. It was Cynthia, the Sinnoh Champion.
"I don't think that's a good idea," Cynthia said calmly, but firmly. "You wouldn't want to face the consequences of attacking three Champions, would you?"
The Team Snagem grunts hesitated, unsure of what to do. Iris, however, wasn't fazed. "Who are you to interfere?" she sneered.
Cynthia smiled. "Just another Champion, like my friends here. And it seems we're all on the same side - against Team Snagem."
The higher ranked grunts exchanged a look, then lowered their weapons. "Fine. We'll back off for now," the leader said.
As they retreated, Blake turned to Cynthia with gratitude. "Thanks for the save. We owe you one."
Cynthia shrugged. "Just doing my duty as a Champion. And besides, we're all in this together. It's up to us to protect the Pokemon and the people of this world."
Misty nodded in agreement. "That's right. And we'll do whatever it takes to stop Team Snagem."
Blake didn't say anything, but his expression was resolute. He knew he had a role to play in this fight, even if he couldn't reveal his true identity to his fellow Champions. Cynthia said "Anyways, goodbye!"
Misty said "Goodbye, Cynthia!"
Blake said "Bye!" and Cynthia left.
As they continued on their way, Blake couldn't help but wonder - how many more enemies did he have to face, both old and new, before he could finally reveal the truth and clear his name?
As they sat down to eat, Misty couldn't help but notice that Blake seemed distracted.
"Is something bothering you, Blake?" she asked.
Blake shook his head. "No, it's nothing. I'm just thinking about the upcoming Pokemon League tournament."
Misty nodded. "I know what you mean. I've been practicing every day to make sure I'm in top form for the competition."
Blake smiled. "That's the spirit. It's always important to be prepared and give it your all."
Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of their food, and they began to eat. As they ate, they chatted about their favorite Pokemon battles and shared stories from their past adventures.
Despite the tension between Misty and Iris, the two of them were able to enjoy a peaceful meal together, bonding over their love of Pokemon and their shared experiences as champions.
As they entered the pool area, Blake noticed that Misty was looking a bit down. "Is everything okay, Misty?" he asked, concerned.
Misty sighed. "It's just that I miss being in the gym, battling trainers and helping them become better. Being the champion can be a bit lonely at times," she admitted.
Blake nodded in understanding. "I know how you feel. It can be hard to find true friends who understand what you're going through," he said, thinking of his own struggles.
Misty smiled. "I'm glad I have you as a friend, Blake. You may be from a different region, but you understand the passion and love for Pokémon that we both share," she said, splashing water playfully.
Blake smiled back. "I'm glad I have you as a friend too, Misty. And who knows, maybe we can battle each other sometime," he said with a mischievous grin.
Misty laughed. "You're on! But for now, let's just enjoy the pool and relax," she said, leaning back on a pool float.
Blake nodded in agreement and joined her on a nearby float. They spent the rest of the afternoon lounging in the sun and enjoying each other's company.
Meanwhile, May went slowly to Misty's and Blake's clothes and took their Pokeballs. May then went stealthily and left without Misty and Blake noticing their Pokemons that they took with them were taken by May.
May rapidly reached the hideout where she gave the Pokeballs to her younger brother, Max, who used a machine and prevented the Pokemons to leave the Pokeballs.
Max said "We have Misty's and Blake's Pokeballs! Now we are very strong!"
Dawn smiled "Excellent job, May!"
Iris nodded "You accomplished what Team Snagem could not do."
Cilan analyzed "May, as a robbery connoiseur, I say you are an excellent thief!"
Bonnie cooed "Max will win now and we will all be rich!"
Trip said "May, you are my girlfriend, but you did this on your own accord."
Unknown to May and the rest of the group, Blake had a tracking device on his Pokeballs. As soon as they realized their Pokemons were missing, Blake activated the device and located their exact location.
Blake looked at Misty and said, "Our Pokemons have been taken to a hideout nearby. We need to act fast."
Misty nodded, "I'm with you, Blake. Let's go."
Blake then called the police "I am Blake, the Paldea Champion, and I am reporting that my and Misty's Pokemons are stolen."
Blake and Misty used the emergency app on their Rotomphones to take an additional Pokemon with them.
The police arrived quickly and Blake and Misty accompanied them to the hideout where their stolen Pokemons were being kept. They found the building heavily guarded by Team Snagem grunts.
Blake said to Misty, "Let's show them what real Champions are made of!"
Misty agreed, "Right. Let's take them down!"
Misty said, "I'll take on the grunts on the left, while you take on the ones on the right, Blake."
Blake nodded in agreement and they quickly charged towards the grunts. Blake sent out his trusty Charizard and Misty released her Gyarados, both of whom were fierce and experienced fighters.
The grunts tried to fight back, but they were no match for the powerful duo. Blake's Charizard unleashed a devastating Flamethrower attack, while Misty's Gyarados used Hydro Pump to knock the grunts off their feet.
However, just as they thought they had won, the higher-ranked Team Snagem grunts appeared, determined to stop Blake and Misty.
They sent out their strongest Pokemon, including a Salamence and a Metagross, which made the battle even more challenging.
Blake and Misty knew they had to work together if they were going to win this battle. They coordinated their attacks and used their Pokemons' unique strengths to their advantage. Blake's Charizard used Dragon Claw to take down the Salamence, while Misty's Gyarados used Ice Fang to freeze the Metagross.
Blake said to the police, "Arrest these criminals and put them behind bars."
The police apprehended the Team Snagem members and took them away.
Misty turned to Blake, "Thank you for your help, Blake. You truly are a great Champion."
Blake smiled, "No problem, Misty. It's always a pleasure to work with a fellow Champion."
Blake, Misty, and the police then went and entered the hideout. May and the rest of the group were caught by surprise.
As soon as the police arrived at the hideout, May tried to deny the accusations.
May was shocked to see Blake and Misty, but she quickly tried to put up a brave front.
"What are you doing here?" May demanded.
Blake replied, "We're here to retrieve our stolen Pokemons and to put an end to Team Snagem's criminal activities."
Misty added, "And it looks like we succeeded."
May said "I did not do that."
The police officer said "The security footage from the restaurant and swimming pool where May was seen stealing the Pokeballs, eyewitness accounts from Misty and Blake, and the tracking device that led them to the hideout show you are responsible."
She was placed under arrest.
As she was being taken away, May turned to Blake and said, "I don't know who you are, but I'll make sure you pay for this."
Blake remained calm and replied, "I'm afraid you won't be able to do that, May. Justice has been served and you will be held accountable for your actions."
Misty nodded in agreement, "That's right. Crime doesn't pay, and you'll have to face the consequences of your choices."
As May was taken away by the police, Blake and Misty exchanged a look of satisfaction. They had put a stop to Team Snagem's criminal activities and had retrieved their stolen Pokemons.
Blake knew that his secret identity was safe for now, but he also knew that he would have to be careful in the future. He couldn't let anyone find out that he was actually Ash Ketchum, the legendary Pokemon Trainer who had disappeared years ago.
For now, Blake was content to focus on his duties as the Paldea Champion and to continue working with his fellow Champions to make the world a safer place.
