(Y/N) never suspected she bought an alien, and Cliffjumper didn't think he'd fall for a human.
Warning: Suicide

(Y/N) looks around the dealership, uncertain what she's looking for, and that's in her budget. Of course, every car she likes is over budget until she comes across a red Dodge Challenger.
"With horns, huh," (Y/N) says to herself.
Cliffjumper worried he was about to be bought, but quickly felt insulted about his horns. He wanted to transform and scold the dealer who insulted the horns, but he knew he couldn't.
"It's an old classic, minus the horns," the dealer argues.
"I'll take it; I'm sure I can remove the horns."
Uh-oh. Cliffjumper frets.
He lets (Y/N) drive him home.

(Y/N) backs Cliffjumper into the garage, kills the engine, and goes into the house.
:: Uh, hello?:: Cliffjumper comms the base.
:: Cliffjumper? Where have you been?!:: Ratchet scolds.
:: Uh, yeah, I have a problem.::
He tells them the situation, not looking forward to the scolding.
:: YOU WHAT?!:: Ratchet scolds,:: you realize you can't simply leave? She'll think her car was stolen!::
Cliffjumper didn't think Prime would say they have no choice but to let (Y/N) know about them. Everyone questions Prime's decision, then switches gears to chewing out Cliffjumper for leaving the team vulnerable. Knowing he has no choice but to show who he is and hope the human doesn't freak out. Fowler might be able to make up a story, but likely not to the entire town of Jasper, and it's more trouble if a video gets out to the world. Cliffjumper is ordered to deal with the situation, even if it'll take months.

Cliffjumper waits four days, enjoying (Y/N) driving him, but he hasn't transformed at all. Though the garage won't let him fully stretch out, he transforms. Failing to realize how much noise he's making wakes his unsuspecting owner until he hears a scream. The two look at each other, (Y/N) pointing a gun at him.
"Shh, I will not hurt you," Cliffjumper whispers, "put that down."
(Y/N) puts the gun back in her booster and nervously sits on Cliffjumper's servo. Cliffjumper moves his servo close to his chassis. As she slowly places her hand on Cliffjumper's chest. Cliffjumper felt his spark beat fast, and his cheeks turned red as his paint job.
"I know it's two in the morning, but we need to talk, and I need to stretch," Cliffjumper tells her and puts her back on the floor. She watches Cliffjumper transform in amazement before sitting in the passenger seat.
"Go ahead, you're a good driver," Cliffjumper tells her.

"Ah, much better," Cliffjumper chirps as he stands on his peds.
(Y/N) sits on a boulder that's tall enough to make eye contact with Cliffjumper, but also makes him nervous about her falling. (Y/N) is interested in Cliffjumper's story as he tells her about Cybertron and cybertronians until he tells her Cybertron is dead.
"... ok, I know that was a lot to take in, but also you want to meet my team?" Cliffjumper asks.
"Sure, later. Let's go home so I can go back to bed."
Cliffjumper laughs and transforms.
He informs the team what happened and that he'll have a guest done time in the afternoon once (Y/N) goes back into the house.

As Cliffjumper predicted, (Y/N) slept late, and the two didn't head to the base until noon. Be tells her there are five other Autobots and three human friends.
"... well, five, but two only come if there's a problem."
Just Cliffjumper's luck, both Fowler and June visit the base today.
"How irresponsible can you be?!" Fowler raged, "the work I'd have to do if Mss... uh.."
"(Y/N)."
"If (Y/N) panicked and reported you to the police!"
"Well, she didn't," Cliffjumper replies.
After a lecture from June and Prime assigning Cliffjumper to be (Y/N)'s guardian, all the Autobots except Ratchet and Prime and the teens decide to have fun even if hide and seek is more for kids. Ratchet is not pleased with the game while he's trying to work.

(Y/N) wakes up the next morning wondering if she was dreaming.
I had to have been dreaming. She believes. But why would I dream about giant alien robots?
She goes into the garage and sees the red Dodge Challenger.
"Cliffjumper?" She whispers, feeling awkward she's talking to her car.
"It wasn't a dream," Cliffjumper explains, "you'll get used to it."

It took (Y/N) a few days to stop thinking she was dreaming. Though she still couldn't believe she is friends with alien robots. Cliffjumper loved spending time with her. It wasn't until two months later that he realizes he's fallen for the human but knew it would never work. Even if (Y/N) didn't care that he's an alien, the other Autobots and humans would. He didn't think any of the other Autobots knew until Prime brought it up.
"It's an interesting situation, but I will not tell you no. You two will know the challenges and limits you'll face," Prime explains.

Cliffjumper let (Y/N) plan a picnic, though he can't eat human food. It was something fun for both of them to do together and out of the base. (Y/N) also planned to watch the sunset.
With (Y/N) on his shoulder, Cliffjumper decides it's now or never as they watch the sunset.
"(Y/N), I-I love you," he shyly says, "I know it's going to be strange, but I want you to be my girlfriend..."
He lets (Y/N) get on his servo but didn't think she'd say to move his servo by his face.
Is she going to slap me before leaving? He fears, though (Y/N) would hurt her hand more than Cliffjumper.
"It's going to be challenging, but I also like you," (Y/N) says.
He didn't think (Y/N) would kiss him. The first challenge is how to kiss his new girlfriend, but he makes it work.
Everyone is supportive when the new couple tells the others. Everything is as great as Cliffjumper could have imagined...

...until (Y/N)'s world comes crashing down six months later. Between Cliffjumper being offline and becoming a zombie to be killed again was too much for (Y/N). Even while mourning the loss of her best friend and second partner, Arcee tried everything she could to stop (Y/N) from ending her life. Only to watch the little human die in her servos after Ratchet and June confirmed there's nothing they can do. Not even the quick trip through the ground bridge to the hospital buys them time to save her. The team buries (Y/N) at Cliffjumper's makeshift grave.
